How to get there

Park your ride.

Free parking is available at the venue and vehicles can be left overnight. Vehicles left overnight need to buzz at the gate for security. Vehicles are left at the owners’ risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please note that we cannot run bar tabs at any of our events, however should you wish to provide some drinks for your group you can pre-order drinks packages or wine by the bottle.

Subject to availability, you can add extra guests to your booking up to 2 weeks prior to your event. Please note, availability changes constantly and tickets are on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to reduce the number of people in your party, any monies already paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

You can of course get into the spirit of the party, as long as your outfit fits within our smart dress code.

We have designed delicious menus alongside our main menu for those guests who are vegetarian, vegan or have an allergy to dairy, gluten or nuts. We can also cater for Halal meals - if they are pre-ordered. Please note that these alternative menus are set and must be ordered in advance of the party, you will the receive the full chosen menu. We unfortunately cannot mix and match courses from each menu. Please note that we are not unable to provide Kosher meals, however, you are welcome to arrange for us to receive a Kosher Meal on the day of your party and we will cook this in our ovens and serve (still in the tray) to your guests at their tables. There is no additional charge for this service; however neither does the guest receive any discount for not having one of our own meals.

This venue is accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Should any of your guests have such please do call us so we can do our best to ensure their requirements are looked after during the event. Please note that some of our venues have a raised dance floor, which are only accessible steps.

Our bars accept card payments, pre-paid wristbands, and pre-paid tokens as form of payments. They do not accept cash. There is an additional bar for your use if you have wristbands or tokens and the time spent at the bar is greatly reduced due to using this pre-paid payment methods. Unfortunately we cannot accept Amex payments

On arrival, we carry out ticket and ID checks and random bag searches are carried out by our security team. Please have your ticket ready.

The initial deposit is due to confirm your booking. The rest of the balance for your booking is due no later than 8 weeks before the date of the party. The booking can be paid over the phone on 0203 9676967 with a debit or credit card or you can make an enquiry and pay through your online account. If you would like to pay by bank transfer please request an invoice.

We have several drinks packages available, please ask for more information. In addition to drinks packages, you can also pre-order wine and water by the bottle.

Tables comfortably sit 10-12 guests per table. This will vary depending on the size of your group.

In line with our licence, we are afraid our parties can only be attended by guests who are over 18 years old.

When you enter the venue you will see several table plans displayed around the bar area, which detail which tables have been allocated to your group. We do not set out seating plans or names within groups, however should you wish to compile your own you are welcome to pop name places etc on your tables when the doors open on the night of your party.

The minimum booking is for 10 guests. We seat each booking at their own private tables, and do not mix booking across shared tables.

This supplier will follow guidance given by the Government in terms of all Covid-19 restrictions. If government restrictions prevent our Christmas Parties from proceeding you will be able to transfer your booking to a future date or alternatively receive a full refund.

We have a variety of different sized tables and we will allocate your group the best suited tables for your final group size. These will of course be placed next to each other in the dining area.

Knowsley Safari Park

Knowsley Safari Park is a large zoo in the Knowsley area of Merseyside. The wildlife park is home to the UK’s longest safari drive. Their 550 acre/5 mile drive is home to many animals, from around the world.

What is there to do at Knowsley Safari Park?

The drive is broken up into different zones where you will see the animals, in as close to natural conditions as they can achieve. The lion enclosure is particularly impressive and there is a car-friendly and non-car friendly drive through to see their baboons.

You can also explore part of the zoo on foot. Their foot safari offers everything from sea lion displays, play areas, meerkats, giraffes and a new tiger trail. They also have amusement rides, a train and a boating lake (additional cost for the rides) plus a woodland walk through the Wild Trail.

Rides in the amusement area include a carousel, dodgems, a pirate ship, swing chairs, bumblebees and more. Some of the rides have height restrictions. Ride tickets are £2 each, unlimited wristbands are £10 per person.

They can also host your child’s birthday party. Animal experiences are also available for a wide range of animals. Some of the experiences have a minimum age and some are especially for families. Experiences include lions, giraffes, tigers, sea lions, birds of prey and zookeepers.

There are a number of options for hot and cold food and drinks, including sit-down meals. Picnics are NOT permitted.

What are the main things to do?

Wildlife park with the biggest drive-through safari in the UK, foot safari, play areas, sea lion shows and woodland trail. There are toilets and places to purchase food and drinks.

What are the ticket prices?

An adult standard ticket purchased online in advance costs £18 per person, children 3-15 £14 and children under 3 are free. Prices are subject to change and/or discounts online..

Is there parking?

There is a large free car park.

Organising a birthday party can be a nightmare but there are places in around Liverpool where you can host your kid's special day and sit back while everything gets taken care of.

We've rounded up a list of some of the most popular birthday party venues in Merseyside that'll make sure your child's birthday party is one to remember.

However old your child is going to be, there's bound to be something that'll impress them and their friends and be the talk of the playground for months to come.

• Knowsley Safari Park

Go wild for you child’s birthday by throwing a Safari party! The Safari Park includes the most dangerous animal in Africa – the cape buffalo, a drive-through lion enclosure with no fences, drive-through herds of grazing antelope, a monkey jungle and a drive through rhino enclosure. The price is £15 per child and covers entry to the safari and a hot or cold meal.

It costs £20 per child and each accompanying adult is £10. Children under three go free as well as up to two party organisers.

Tickets include entry and a meal. You can also add goody bags for £6 per person, ride wristbands £8 per person, or baboon bus hire for £6.50 per person. Parties are subject to a minimum spend of £100. Call 0151 426 2127 to book.

Soccer Dome

The Soccer Dome is the premier place to hold your child’s birthday party, with a variety of parties hosted by fully trained party hosts.

The venue offers a classic football party (up to £13.95 per head), deluxe football party (up to £195 for 10 children), disco and karaoke party (up to £195 for 10 children), neon party (up to £195 for 10 children) and a pamper party (up to £220 for 10 children).

There's also a princess/pirate party (up to £220 for 10 children), arts and craft party (up to £220 for 10 children) and a traditional party (up to £195 for 10 children).

Bubbles World Of Play

Let Bubbles’ World of Play take away the hassle and strain of entertaining kids in your own home by providing a unique party in a fantastic venue on Saturdays and Sundays.

Little Foot Events Army Party

Choose an adventurous and unique army-inspired party based at an army camp around an open fire.

Kids can take part in a range of exciting army inspired activities and challenges, that only by working together they will complete.

The party lasts up to two hours and includes an infamous night line and bush-tucker trial.

Price starts from around £180 and is for up to 14 kids aged seven and up. Party includes hot dogs, hot drinks and marshmallows.

Blue Planet Aquarium

The most exciting place on earth to hold your child’s birthday party is close to the sharks at the Blue Planet Aquarium .

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.  

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.
