The country star welcomed several female collaborators for the project, including Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, a co-writer on the album’s title “Subject to Change” and the tour’s namesake, “Heartfirst.” Alysa Vanderheym is also a co-producer on the project, and wrote “Heartfirst” with Fairchild and Ballerini. She also collaborated with Carly Pearce and Kelly Clarkson on the song “You’re Drunk, Go Home.”

“It’s interesting because in the conversation of, ‘Yes, we need more women in country music,’ what does that actually look like?” Ballerini previously told Billboard . “We need more female artists and collaborators but we also need more female opportunities throughout the whole chain of events, you know? I intentionally wanted to write with more women this time. For me, when you are making a record about emotions, when you connect with a woman creatively, you’re gonna be able to tap into that in a whole different way.”

Kelsea ballerini’s 2023 tour is underway. some tickets are under $60..

Kelsea Ballerini poses in a provocative outfit.

Fresh off her musical guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” Kelsea Ballerini is heading right back to the road for 18 more shows.

From March 6 through July 1, the country star will travel all over the country as part of her ongoing ‘Heartfirst Tour.’

The tour, which began in late 2022, had to be extended to the spring and summer due to overwhelming demand.

Soon after, concerts began selling out.

“WELL THIS ESCALATED QUICKLY,” Ballerini gushed on Instagram . “As if i couldn’t have been more excited to get back on the road…you’re selling these out already?! ok brb going to make the show extra special now.”

This time around, she’ll be hitting the northeast when she stops into Atlantic City’s Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on March 17.

And if you need last-minute tickets, they’re surprisingly still available — even for the sold-out shows.

Some can even be scooped up for as low as $55 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Want to find the show closest to you? Or would you like to see Ballerini open for Kenny Chesney on his upcoming “I Go Back Tour?”

Keep reading. We’ve got everything you need to know and more below.

All prices are subject to fluctuation and were found at the time of publication.

Kelsea Ballerini 2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available for each show can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Kenny Chesney’s ‘I Go Back’ Tour

There isn’t just one tour on Ballerini’s 2023 schedule.

This year, she’ll also open for Kenny Chesney on his spring ‘I Go Back Tour’ from March 23 through May 27.

The tour isn’t your typical Chesney trek though.

Rather than hit stadiums, Chesney will hit off the beaten path venues this spring.

“I decided rather than just go repeat what we did on this summer’s stadium tour, I wanted to take this band and these songs to a lot of the cities we played on our way up, call it the I Go Back Tour and do just that,” Chesney shared on  Instagram .

You can find his entire tour calendar here.

Kelsea Ballerini new music

In October 2022, the 29-year-old released her fourth record “Subject To Change.”

The album mixes country, pop and dance which goes down smooth for hardcore fans and those her are just discovering her catalog with its good-natured lyrics and upbeat tempo changes.

We’re partial to the second track “THE LITTLE THINGS” where Ballerini pays homage to the intangibles in a relationship that make it work like “when her partner puts a hand on her back in a crowded room” or “waiting on her in the morning with a cup of coffee.”

You can hear the upbeat “Subject To Change” in its entirety here .

More recently, she dropped the soul-baring, six-song EP “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat.” Both songs from her ‘SNL’ set were from this short offering.

It’s also available for streaming —  all you have to do is click here .

Kelsea Ballerini opening act

Before Ballerini takes the stage, audiences will be treated to up-and-coming singer-songwriter Georgia Webster.

The 20-year-old Massachusetts native first exploded onto the scene after an acoustic version of her single “Tell Your Mom” went viral on TikTok in 2020.

Since then, she’s released two EPs: 2021’s “First Goodbye” and 2022’s “Chapter 1: Things We’re Not Saying.”

If you want a taste of her poppy country sound, you can listen to Webster here.

Kelsea Ballerini ‘SNL’ performance

Ballerini performed two songs on the March 4 episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ hosted by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

First, she treated the crowd to a rousing edition of her powerful “BLINDSIDED” which can be seen below.

Then, toward the end of the show, Ballerini delivered the stripped-down ballad “Penthouse.”

Both songs are from Ballerini’s 2023 EP “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat.”

Kelsea Ballerini Unveils Dates for Second Leg of Heartfirst Tour

Cillea Houghton

Updated:

Kelsea Ballerini is leading with her “heart first” on the second leg of her headlining tour.

Videos by American Songwriter

Ballerini has booked a series of new shows on her HEARTFIRST Tour throughout the month of March, consisting of nine intimate shows across the U.S. and Canada. The tour will begin in Toronto on March 6, and will travel through Columbus, Ohio; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Atlantic City, New Jersey, and others before concluding in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on March 18.

“Let’s do this again,” she writes with a yellow heart emoji announcing the new dates. The first leg of the tour took place in September and October 2022.

The tour is in support of her latest album, Subject to Change , which includes the top 30 single, “Heartfirst,” which Ballerini co-wrote with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Alysa Vanderheym, along with “ You’re Drunk, Go Home ,” a collaboration with Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce. “Heartfirst” is nominated at the 2023 Grammy Awards for Best Country Solo Performance.

This is one of several tours Ballerini is participating in this year. She’ll appear at select dates on The Judds: The Final Tour , which resumes on January 26, and serve as a supporting act on Kenny Chesney’s I Go Back Tour , which runs from March through the end of May.

“Music has taken me so many incredible places,” Ballerini said about touring with her “half of my hometown” duet partner. “Around the world, singing with some of my heroes in pop, alternative and contemporary music, but singing with Kenny is going home. He was the only voice I heard on ‘half of my hometown,’ and when he comes in, it’s just like hitting the Knoxville city limits. So to be able to go out to those cities like the place he and I grew up with an artist who’s accomplished what he has, it’s a lot like going home.”

She’ll also open for one of her idols, Shania Twain, on her global Queen of Me Tour , including the show at Geodis Park in Nashville.

Kelsea Ballerini - Heartfirst Tour

Kelsea Ballerini has consistently made history. With the release of her debut album  The First Time  (Black River), she became the only female country artist to hit #1 with the first three consecutive singles from a debut album. This history-making feat helped earn the honeyed alto a Best New Artist GRAMMY nomination. She has logged five back-to-back Top 10 entries on the  Billboard Top Country Albums chart, including the platinum-selling  The First Time  [2015], gold-selling  Unapologetically  [2017], gold-selling  kelsea  [2020], ballerini  [2020], and SUBJECT TO CHANGE [2022]. With seven #1 singles and 31 certifications from the RIAA to date, her catalog boasts a string of essential smashes such as the double-platinum “Miss Me More” and “Peter Pan,” platinum-selling “half of my hometown” feat. Kenny Chesney and “hole in the bottle” with Shania Twain, and gold-selling “I Quit Drinking” with LANY.

Among dozens of accolades thus far, she has garnered three GRAMMY® Award nominations, won two ACM Awards, picked up two CMA Awards, took home the iHeartRadio Music Awards honor for “Best New Artist,” and received multiple career nominations from the ACM Awards, American Music Awards, CMA Awards, CMT Awards, and People’s Choice Awards. She concluded 2021 as the “#3 most-played female artist on country radio” and CMT “Artist of the Year” in addition to picking up “Musical Event of the Year” and “Video of the Year” at the CMA Awards for “half of my hometown.” Kelsea scored a nomination in the category of “Single of the Year” at the 2022 CMA Awards for “half of my hometown,” and she notched a People’s Choice Awards nomination for “Country Artist of 2022.” Kelsea led the field for 2022 CMT Music Awards nominations with three nominations for “Video of The Year,” “Collaborative Video of The Year” and “CMT Performance of The Year.” Not to mention, she snagged a nomination for “Music Event of the Year” for the 2022 ACM Awards as both artist and producer of “half of my hometown.” This marked Kelsea’s first ACM nomination as a producer.

Expanding her sphere of influence, she authored her first original book of poetry  Feel Your Way Through , and Dolly Parton tapped her to star in the audiobook of  Run, Rose, Run . In April 2022, Kelsea co-hosted the CMT Awards on CBS nationwide. On top of this, the multi-platinum country superstar was named the newest face of COVERGIRL. She has joined the brand in a multi-year partnership and is set to launch a cosmetic collaboration with the brand in 2023. She was inducted as a member of the famed Grand Ole Opry in 2019. At the time, she notably became the Opry’s youngest member in its nearly 100-year history since being founded in 1925. With these accolades, it is no wonder NPR proclaimed, “Kelsea Ballerini is definitely one of the most influential women in country right now… she’s defining the sound of the genre.”

Kelsea’s fourth album, SUBJECT TO CHANGE, arrived on September 23, 2022. The first single “HEARTFIRST,” quickly took over airwaves as the “most added song at country radio” the week of its release and was recently certified gold by the RIAA. Most recently, Kelsea earned a GRAMMY® nomination for “Best Country Solo Performance” for “HEARTFIRST.” Kelsea surprised fans with the release of her intimate six-song EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (Black River) on February 14, 2023. The EP, along with an accompanying short film written and directed by Ballerini, marks the multi-platinum star’s most intimate and honest work to date. The project became an instant hit with fans and debuted to universal acclaim from everyone from The New York Times to Variety to Rolling Stone and more. Kelsea Ballerini is ready to continue making history in 2023 and beyond.

Kelsea Ballerini on Undoing Country Music’s Norms

This article is part of the 2023 TIME100 Next , our annual list recognizing rising leaders in health, climate, business, sports, the arts, and more. Read more about Kelsea Ballerini —and see the whole list— here .

Kelsea Ballerini has had a whirlwind year. Last September, she released her fourth studio album, Subject to Change , to critical acclaim . In November, she nabbed her third Grammy nomination and finalized her divorce from her husband of five years, Morgan Evans. In February of this year, she released an EP, Rolling Up The Welcome Mat , an achingly honest emotional portrait of that divorce . In March, she made her debut as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live . And in April, she co-hosted the CMT Awards, making a memorable statement by performing her song “If You Go Down (I’m Going Down Too)” alongside four drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race . The performance, unsurprisingly, drew praise from many for her statement of inclusivity, while simultaneously spurring criticism from many conservatives at a moment when country music is increasingly in the crosshairs of the culture wars .

Now, after a lively summer of performances on her own Heartfirst Tour and as a special guest on Kenny Chesney's, Ballerini adds another feather to her cap: gracing the cover of the 2023 TIME 100 Next issue—the morning after making her MTV Video Music Awards performance debut, no less.

TIME met with Ballerini on two separate occasions in late August—first at her TIME cover shoot and the following week over Zoom, where she called in from her house in Nashville. Fresh out of a pilates class, she hugged her knees to her chest as she spoke from a quaint, sage-green room accented with healthy plants and framed pictures. Her excitement is palpable as she talks about upcoming trips to celebrate her 30th birthday, to the Amalfi Coast with her boyfriend and then to Saint John in the Caribbean with six of her best girlfriends.

After working in the music industry for nearly a decade, Ballerini attributed her long string of recent accomplishments to “being wired like a workhorse.” But now, after accumulating all of those feathers in her cap, she says she’s ready to take some time to slow down and “live a life worth writing about.”

TIME: You have been working in the music industry for almost a decade, and the last few years have been huge for you. Was there a moment when you noticed you were entering a new phase in your career?

Ballerini: My first No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart was huge. Also, getting asked to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. I’ve definitely had more of those in the last 12 months than I have in my whole career. What made me notice things were shifting was [my song] “Penthouse,” from singing it for the first time in Manchester to SNL to two different legs of the tour plus a Kenny Chesney tour in the middle. Watching it grow from a song that was just this quiet song on this quiet EP that I released—it’s the biggest hit in my set. That song has been like the litmus test of this last year for me.

What was the process of making the EP like? Cathartic?

The EP is unlike any other body of work I’ve ever made. When I signed my record deal at 20, I knew I was writing for commercial country albums. I would like to say in my heart that I was still writing from an honest place about my human experience as a 20-something girl. I was definitely thinking about what would sound good on the radio and, “Will this be a good song as I'm opening up for X, Y, and Z on their tours?”

What made this EP different is that I had just released my album in September and was going through a massive life shift. I was writing about it in my scarce time off. I didn't tell my management. I didn't tell my record label. I only told three of my closest friends and made the whole EP with one other person. When I finished it, I had this internal dialogue of: “Do I release this?” “What is my intention?” I decided I wanted to. I hand-delivered it to management and the label and said, “I don't want to promo this. I just feel like I must put this out into the world." There was such a pureness behind that, that I have to believe mattered, and is part of the reason it connected like it has. But yes, cathartic is the number one word I could use for that record.

Your songwriting across the EP is sharp and incredibly honest. Was there any part of the EP you were scared about releasing to the world?

The whole thing is a journey; it starts with the moment I decide for myself that I'm going to make a really big life change, and it takes you through more or less all the stages of grief. It's scary to bookmark your life so precisely and then put it out so publicly. It’s terrifying and so absolutely rewarding.

How did you know when you were done with it?

The opposite of love is indifference, and [the second to last song on the EP], “Leave Me Again,” is indifferent. It’s me saying genuinely that I’m at peace with myself and my decisions. I hope everyone who this has touched feels the same way.

You have also been on tour for quite some time—your own Heartfirst Tour and with Kenny Chesney. Do you feel most at home writing and being in the studio, or being in front of a crowd?

It’s almost different personalities. I used to sit on my laptop on a Word document and say, “When ‘Love Me Like You Mean It’ is done, right before I go into ‘Yeah Boy,’ I'm going to say this, this and this.” Then, I would script it out because I was so nervous about public speaking. I don't know if it's an age or a walking-through-fire thing, but I'm much less concerned about saying the wrong thing. I think that's really allowed me to be more present on stage. Whereas when I'm writing a song, it's me and my guitar in my sweatpants, just getting into the guts of what I'm feeling.

While on tour, was there anything about performing Rolling Up the Welcome Mat that felt new or different?

It's changed my live show completely. I started this tour in September, and we were always going to do three legs. The factor that changed was the release of Welcome Mat . The first leg of the tour wasn't sold out. It was around a brand new record that people were slowly learning, which was still amazing. But it definitely didn't feel like the second leg did. The second leg was right after Welcome Mat came out, and the shows were all sold out. There was a different energy in the room. Then, the third leg sold out in a matter of minutes. People were there because they were diehard about a journey we'd been on together for a year. It was a massive shift from leg one to leg three, and feeling that as an artist, it's still something I'm processing.

What are those feelings, if you can name them?

I feel really proud of myself as a woman for honoring myself and being brave enough to share it; now it's not mine. [The songs] have connected me to these people that now all are on this healing journey together, growing up together, messing up together, and learning together, and that's the whole point of life.

Right now, Country music is divided; people like you are bringing drag queens on-stage at the CMT Awards and making strides to be more inclusive. But then there’s the message many took from “Try That in a Small Town,” and Oliver Anthony’s song which unwittingly became a conservative anthem. Do you ever feel caught up in the crossroads of these changes to the genre?

I would say, for anything in life, when there's a “group of people”—and I use “group” in quotes—one person cannot speak for everyone. That is true for country music. I am in control of standing in what I believe in—and being a kind, good person who works towards making the world a more heard, safe, and inclusive place in whatever capacity I can do.

I wish I could change a lot of things. But I can just change myself and the community around me. And I am making sure that my intentions are good and pure.

There was a lot of pushback after you brought drag queens to the CMT Awards .

Oh yeah, there was! At the time, a lot of anti-drag legislation was being proposed in Tennessee . I was not only hosting the CMT awards, but I had a performance for a song of mine that is all about friendship and standing up for people that you love, and being ride-or-die for your people. I realized that that would be a really good, important, loud, big stage to make that statement on, and CMT was all for it.

What changes need to happen in order to make country music more accessible to not only a wider audience but to a wider range of artists ?

It’s a process, and we’re undoing a way that, specifically, country music has done things forever. It's making sure that we're giving a voice to new artists; we're giving a voice to unsigned artists who represent underrepresented groups in Nashville because they're not getting a chance to be signed.

Nobody says people don't want to jam out to guys on the radio. I do. I also want to hear from women . Just as much, maybe more. I also want to hear from people of color, from the LGBTQ+ community. I want to hear all the voices we hear on pop radio on country radio.

You’ve done a lot outside of music, including writing a book of poetry. Are there other things outside of music that you hope to do?

I'm open to any other creative outlet that may present itself to me, while I always protect and nurture music at the forefront—obviously always. That will always be my baby and my true love.

Kelsea Ballerini Talks Her MTV VMAs’ Dress Change: ‘Telling My Future Children I Was Once Houdini’

The country star shared how she quickly changed her dress during her performance of "Penthouse"

Bryan Bedder/Variety via Getty

Kelsea Ballerini made some magic at the 2023 MTV VMAs .

During the country star's performance of her hit " Penthouse ," she wore not just one dress, but a second dress which she unveiled in the middle of her performance . Ballerini, who marked her 30th birthday Tuesday, began the song in a strapless white ruched floor-length gown.

As she sang the lyrics, “And it stings rolling up the welcome mat / Knowing you got half,” the spotlight intensified and the singer instantly changed into a short strapless body-con black dress.

Following the costume switch, Ballerini posted a TikTok documenting how she practiced the quick change. She captioned the post, “telling my future children i was once houdini #penthouse #vmas.”

In the video, Ballerini shared her preparation for the show and her performance.

She practiced the key lyrics that represented the moment she needed to pull down the white gown and reveal the shorter black dress. After she pulled off the white dress to reveal the black one underneath, members of the "Miss Me More" singer's team broke into laughter.

Ballerini's Houdini-esque act follows the recent conclusion of her Heartfirst Tour . In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Ballerini shared how “incredible” her latest tour was .

"Just to watch the music evolve, and the connection and the singalongs got louder and bigger throughout the last six months, it's been really pretty crazy," Ballerini told PEOPLE during her new partnership campaign with Sonic.

In addition to her recent tour, the country singer also released an extended version of her 2023 EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat , titled Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (For Good) , last month. The original Rolling Up the Welcome Mat , was released on Valentine's Day 2023, months after her divorce from Morgan Evans was finalized. Following her relationship with Evans, 38, Ballerini began dating Chase Stokes .

Before her performance Tuesday, Stokes, 30, posted a celebratory birthday Instagram post for his girlfriend.

The Outer Banks star added a photo carousel , including photos of the two hugging, as well as their formal high fashion moments. "Dirty 30 looks pretty damn good on you Ballerini," Stokes wrote. "I love you ❤️."

Chase Stokes Sweetly Kisses Kelsea Ballerini's Cheek at ‘Uglies' Premiere

Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini were lucky in love at the red carpet premiere of his new movie, Uglies.

Stokes, 31, and Ballerini, 30, stepped out for the Thursday, September 12, event at Los Angeles' Netflix Tudum Theater. As they posed on the red carpet, Stokes gave the country singer a sweet kiss on her cheek. Ballerini beamed in the moment.

Stokes, who stars as Peris in the film adaptation of Scott Westerfeld 's bestselling YA novel, sported a black Paul Smith suit for the occasion. Ballerini, for her part, donned a strapless, purple bodycon dress with her straight blonde locks middle-parted.

Ballerini also captured Instagram Story footage of the premiere, filming a video of Stokes greeting his Uglies costars. She captioned her upload, "@hichasestokes."

Kelsea Ballerini Is Still 'Lovin the Heck Outta' Boyfriend Chase Stokes

Thursday's red carpet PDA is par for the course for Ballerini and Stokes, who often share insight into their romance via social media and on red carpets.

"Sometimes it feels like maybe it's an oversharing situation, or maybe there's a lot of details, but I truthfully believe that my personal life is really, really private," Stokes told E! News in March , denying that the couple is doing too much. "I still feel like I have a really good grasp on my privacy."

The Outer Banks star started dating Ballerini in January 2023 after she slid into his Instagram DMs following her divorce from fellow country singer Morgan Evans . They had their first date in Nashville, which was the inspiration for Ballerini's song "How Do I Do This?"

"He came to town and [my wife and I] ended up going to a couple of our favorite bars, including, if I'm not mistaken, Robert's right down on Broadway [with Chase and Kelsea]," Stokes' Outer Banks costar Charles Esten exclusively recalled to Us Weekly in June. "I was just there to watch it blossom."

Esten, 59, added, "They're just both such great people. Such good hearts, such kind souls, so creatively gifted that it was just kind of cool to be there. I love 'em both."

Ballerini and Stokes' relationship has only gotten stronger since that first date.

"He's the most emotionally intelligent man I've ever met in my life," she gushed during a November 2023 appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. "I keep telling him he's a man written by a woman."

Celebrity Couples Who Prove That Love Isn't Dead

According to Ballerini, being with Stokes was the first time that she found sex to be a "real connector" in a relationship.

"My experience with it was very performative and for the other person," Ballerini told podcast host Alex Cooper. "It doesn't be like that anymore. I didn't understand how [sex] could be a real connector in a relationship. I always thought it was just something that you did. … Now, I realize it's a connector for people."

Uglies is currently streaming on Netflix.

Fall Music Preview 2024: Inside New Albums From Kelsea Ballerini, Joe Jonas, Mickey Guyton and More

This year has already seen huge releases from Taylor Swift , Beyoncé , Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX , but there’s still an entire season left — and the calendar is packed with new albums from more of music’s biggest artists.

Country superstar Miranda Lambert is one of the first on the docket, with her 10th studio album, Postcards From Texas , dropping September 13.

“I named it [ Postcards From Texas ] because I felt like there's little snippets of stories of things along the way,” Lambert told Us Weekly in an exclusive cover interview ahead of the album’s release. “Usually my albums [are] sort of a snapshot of the last couple of years, especially in country music. We have a two-to-three-year album cycle, and I've been doing that since I was 18. So I feel like every album is a story of where I was then and so on, but I think this one has a decade-long kind of thread.”

The Grammy winner went on to note that some of the tracks on Texas were written nearly 10 years ago.

Fall TV Preview 2024: Inside Must-Watch New and Returning Shows

“It's an encouragement to all of us artists to not just love our new babies,” she quipped to Us . “Let's go dig back in the vault and see where we were emotionally at that time, and does it fit today and should we revisit that?”

Shortly after Lambert’s new album arrives, fellow superstars including Katy Perry , Luke Bryan and Joe Jonas will drop new music as well. Keep scrolling for Us Weekly ’s guide to the biggest releases of the fall:

Suki Waterhouse, ‘Memoir of a Sparklemuffin’

After her turn as drummer Karen Sirko on Prime Video’s Daisy Jones & The Six , Waterhouse is back to making her own music on her second studio album. “[The title] — it’s kind of one of those things where I’m like, if you get it, you get it,” she told Harper’s Bazaar of the LP’s name. “I wanted something that leaned towards a kind of ridiculousness and felt a little bit comical and a bit fabulous. … The world is kind of violent and you can get eviscerated and you can get eaten at any moment, and we’re in this, like, kind of beautiful and also, like, devastating dance together.” (September 13)

Miranda Lambert, ‘Postcards From Texas’

Lambert told Us that she wanted Postcards to sound notably different from her last album, 2022’s Palomino . “It was all about traveling and about road trips and stories and inspiration and characters you meet along the way,” she explained. “And this record feels like you made it home and you're like, ‘I'm going to send you some letters from home for a while.’ It felt like the perfect way to follow up a record that was so much movement.” (September 13)

Nilufer Yanya, ‘My Method Actor’

The British singer-songwriter’s latest opus is the perfect soundtrack for crisp nights with its distorted arrangements, sharp lyrics and her chameleonic vocals. “My songwriting is always a bit existential,” she explained to The Fader of her recording process. “So it was things like, ‘Who am I?’ ‘What am I doing?’ I was also looking closely at my desire to write and to create. I was really questioning, like, where is this coming from? What is that thing that's always been part of me?” (September 13)

Katy Perry, ‘143’

The newly crowned MTV Video Vanguard winner returns with her first album in four years. Not everyone was thrilled by the early singles, but Perry’s albums always deliver at least one or two bangers. (September 20)

Nelly Furtado, ‘7’

For her first album in seven years, the “Promiscuous” artist revisits the dance-inflected sounds that made her famous in the early aughts and teams up with collaborators including Tove Lo , SG Lewis , Bomba Estéreo and Charlotte Day Wilson . (September 20)

Keith Urban, ‘High’

Urban’s new album grew out of a different record that he decided not to release, but he’s kept a few tracks from those older sessions, including a duet with Lainey Wilson . (September 20)

Jennifer Lopez, Sydney Sweeney and More Lead the 10 Best Movies at TIFF

Luke Bryan, ‘Mind of a Country Boy’

The American Idol judge and country radio staple says he tried “a little bit of everything” on his new album. “I do some things different vocally on this one that I've not done before,” he explained in a press release. “It's about each song having its place and having its meaning. It's trying not to be overly redundant with songs.” (September 27)

Mickey Guyton, ‘House on Fire’

The enormously talented Guyton has never been as famous as she should be, but country is much cooler now than it was when she dropped her debut in 2021. Hopefully, her second album will find the wider audience it deserves. “I am so proud to be a country artist,” she said in an August Instagram video. “Watching people fall in love with this genre, knowing that I’ve been here and loved it since I was a little girl, and everyone’s finally catching on. It’s really, really cool to see.” (September 27)

Coldplay, ‘Moon Music’

The arena rock stalwarts are back with another set of anthemic, inspiring tracks that feature guest appearances from artists including Burna Boy and Ayra Starr . The album is a sequel of sorts to 2021’s Music of the Spheres — this LP’s full title is Music of the Spheres Vol. II: Moon Music . (October 4)

Finneas, ‘For Cryin’ Out Loud!’

Fresh off the success of sister Billie Eilish ’s latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft (which he produced), Finneas continues his solo project with his second LP. While he’s famous for producing music at home in his bedroom, he said he wanted this album to reflect more of a classic studio setup — with a full band and everything. (October 4)

The Chicks’ Groundbreaking Album ‘Fly’ Turns 25: Us Ranks All 13 Songs

Leon Bridges, ‘Leon’

The soul singer recorded his latest project outside Mexico City, and he’s said the album is one of his most personal to date. “In many ways, Leon has been in the works since my childhood. This record is about simpler days,” he said when announcing the self-titled LP. “It’s about time spent in my beloved Fort Worth and the experiences that made me the man I am today. It’s soulful music in the truest sense — it’s imbued with my soul. I’m excited to share these stories about my home, about nostalgia, about my upbringing, about where I’m from, with all of you.” (October 4)

Becky G, ‘Encuentros’

According to Becky G, her new album (the title of which is Spanish for “encounters”) is like the “at night” version of her 2023 release, Esquinas . “[It has more] depth and mystique,” she told Rolling Stone in August. (October 10)

Jelly Roll, ‘Beautifully Broken’

The burgeoning country star continues his rise with his 10th studio album, inspired by his own mental health struggles and addiction battle. (October 11)

The Linda Lindas, ‘No Obligation’

The punk prodigies (all of whom are still teenagers) incorporate elements of garage rock, power pop, new wave and rock en español on their new album, which features a guest appearance from “Weird Al” Yankovic . (October 11)

Joe Jonas, ‘Music for People Who Believe in Love’

The middle Jonas Brother hasn’t released a solo album in more than a decade, so fans are eager to hear what he’s been cooking up without Kevin and Nick . If you’re looking for a divorce album, however, look elsewhere — Joe has already said he’s “ not trying to come for anyone ” with his new music. (October 18)

Shawn Mendes, ‘Shawn’

After canceling his world tour to focus on his mental health, Mendes returns with a quieter, more introspective sound. Some fans thought Shawn might be a country album, and while that’s not quite accurate, the first few tracks do have more of a folky bent than his previous work. (October 18)

Kelsea Ballerini, ‘Patterns’

After dropping her stellar post-divorce EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat last year, the country superstar is back with a new full-length album recorded as she experienced her Saturn return (an astrological event that represents change). She’s only shared a few details so far, but her “Cowboys Cry Too” duet with Noah Kahan hints at great things to come. (October 25)

Katie Gavin, ‘What a Relief’

The Muna frontwoman strikes out on her own with her debut solo album, which she has described as “Lilith Fair–core.”Judging by the first couple of singles, that means a more acoustic-forward sound than the ecstatic dance-pop Gavin and her bandmates channeled on their self-titled LP. (October 25)

Halsey, ‘The Great Impersonator’

Halsey has said she worked on her latest release “in the space between life and death” as she dealt with serious chronic health issues. The American Music Award winner seems to be mining multiple genres for inspiration, including pop-punk on “Ego” and folk on “The End.” (October 25)

Soccer Mommy, ‘Evergreen’

The indie singer-songwriter (real name Sophie Allison) grapples with “the wake of a profound and personal loss” on her new album, which promises to cut even deeper than her music usually does. (October 25)

Bootsy Collins, ‘Album of the Year #1 Funkateer’

The funk icon, now in his 70s, has still got it — “it” here meaning those smooth vocals, stick bass lines and a glam rock fashion sense that won’t quit. (October 25)

Willie Nelson, ‘Last Leaf on the Tree’

For his 76th (!!!) studio album, the country icon collaborated with his son Micah for a collection of covers from artists including Tom Waits , Nina Simone , Beck , Neil Young and the Flaming Lips. (November 1)

Dolly Parton’s Glitziest Red Carpet Fashion Moments of All Time: Photos

Dolly Parton & Family, ‘Smoky Mountain DNA — Family, Faith and Fables’

The country queen taps her large family for this collaborative album highlighting their Tennessee history over the course of 37 tracks. There’s also a four-part docuseries in the works that will detail Parton’s journey from Sevier County to Nashville and beyond; that’s due out next year. (November 15)

Kim Deal, ‘Nobody Loves You More’

The iconic Pixies and Breeders vocalist is finally gearing up for her first solo album after nearly 40 years in the business. But while the LP is billed under just her name, some of her longtime collaborators still found their way onto the record: her twin and Breeders colleague Kelley Deal as well as present and past bandmates Jim Macpherson , Britt Walford and Mando Lopez . (November 22)
