TRAVEL SICKNESS CHEWABLE TABLETS
Active ingredient (in each chewable tablet)
Meclizine HCl USP 25 mg
Uses prevents and treats nausea, vomiting or dizziness due to motion sickness
Do not use in children under 12 years of age unless directed by a doctor
Ask a doctor before use if you have
- a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis
- trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use it you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers.
When using this product
- may cause drowsiness
- alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness
- avoid alcoholic drinks
- use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery
If pregnant or breast-feeding , ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact the poison control center immediately.
- Dosage should be taken one hour before travel starts
- Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Chew 1-2 tablets once daily, or as directed by a doctor
- Children under 12 years: do not give this product to children under 12 years of age unless directed by a doctor

Warning or Restrictions
Do not use if: •The patient is under the 2 years old. •For a duration of longer than 7 days. •This medicine contains lactose. If you have been previously told by your doctor that you are intolerant to some sugars, seek medical advice prior to taking this medicine. •Do not drink alcohol whilst taking this medication. •This medicine may make you sleepy. If this happens, do not drive or use tools or machines. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist.

Adults: •For the prevention of travel sickness on long journeys take one tablet each night at bedtime starting the night before you travel. •For the prevention of travel sickness on short journeys take one tablet one or two hours before travelling. •For the treatment of motion sickness, take one tablet as soon as possible and repeat the dose the same evening followed by the next evening. •For the treatment of nausea and vomiting due to other causes, take one tablet at night. Children over 10 years old: •Give the lower adult dose (one tablet). Children 5- 10 years old: •Give half the lower adult dose (half a table).
Tips and Advice
If you forget to take a tablet, do not double up the dose, just take it when you remember and then continue as directed.

Who may not be able to take hyoscine hydrobromide
Hyoscine hydrobromide is not suitable for some people. To make sure it's safe for you, tell a pharmacist or doctor before taking it if you:
- have ever had an allergic reaction to hyoscine hydrobromide or any other medicine
- have an eye problem called primary angle closure glaucoma
- have difficulty peeing or a bowel blockage
- have myasthenia gravis , a condition that causes muscle weakness
