How to Unlock Gear & Apparel in EA Sports PGA Tour

Players can once again attempt to master the PGA Tour with the latest offering from EA Sports. And when it comes to your very own pro, there are plenty of ways to go about customizing them. Not only that, but there are multiple avenues one can take in order to unlock specific items. So without further ado, let’s break down how to unlock gear and apparel in EA Sports PGA Tour.

Unlocking Gear & Apparel in EA Sports PGA Tour

When it comes to unlocking gear and apparel in EA Sports PGA Tour , our best advice is to simply play as often as you can. If you don’t want to spend your own money (we’ll get to that), then you’ll want to win Tournaments (or at the very least, do well in them), complete Career Quests, and grind your way through the many Challenges that await.

Reward Points

By far, Reward Points are the most cost-effective way to acquire different clubs, clothes, specialty upgrades, or even tickets (that can be used as entry fees to Weekly and Seasonal Tournaments). However, you don’t necessarily need to purchase these tickets, as they can be earned through Daily Tournaments all the same. Players can earn Reward Points by completing various Quest Objectives that are tied to your pro’s Career progress.

A word of warning, especially early on: The prices on all of these items, from clubs to apparel, seem a bit steep. As your pro progresses, ideally the amount of Reward Points you receive will as well.

Depending on the scale of the Quest Objective or Challenge, players can also unlock certain Rewards that contain specific items. Sometimes, they’ll be a combination of EXP and apparel. Other times, they’ll be specialty enhancements, which cost more in-store than your more general club, apparel, or equipment items. In either case, that’s why checking off these Challenges can be so beneficial.

While it takes a fair bit of grinding to do so, the Rewards can be worth it. If nothing else, it gives you the chance to unlock some valuable items that can be equipped at any time, whether that be power boosts, accuracy boosts, recovery upgrades, and so on.

Points (Micro Transactions)

Of course, players can always choose to pay (more) of their own money in order to purchase Points . Think of these as PGA Tour’s version of FIFA Points. I am of the opinion that you should treat Micro Transactions as a last resort, and if you’re resorting to them to begin with, then perhaps it’s best to just stay away.

It’s helpful that a player’s Career isn’t tied to online play, much like FIFA Ultimate Team is. It should, at the very least, decrease the urge to purchase Points from the off. Sure you’ll be able to progress your pro faster if you invest more of your own money into the game, but you don’t have to be good against other players in order to earn Reward Points or Rewards . You just have to be good on your own, so why not focus on that?

EA Sports PGA Tour is focused on getting the most detail-oriented, technologically possible approach for a realistic golf video game. Developer EA Orlando & EA Madrid and publisher Electronic Arts acquired exclusive licensing to include the top golf tournaments. The Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open Championship, and The Open are all represented, along with the Augusta National Women's Amateur, the FedExCup, and many more.

In a Screen Rant PGA Tour interview , developers talked about what went into the course design process to make EA Sports PGA Tour as realistic as possible with the 30 courses currently available. The game is designed to feel incredibly immersive from the ground up and is genuinely photo-realistic on machines that are capable of handling the highest graphic settings.

EA Sports PGA Tour is stunning, and on the highest graphics settings, even the crowds along the sides of each course can feel realistic. The physics are crafted to take into account the slightest changes in the environment, swing controls, and more with a mind-blowing amount of things to tweak to get each shot just right. Unfortunately, this also creates a very steep learning curve for any casual players of the game, without a lot of leeways given when an amateur is truly an amateur.

Just as in a real-life golf career, as a player improves their golf game, they get to progress through different championships and events. EA Sports PGA Tour offers different ways to work on practicing, whether through trying to play through the Korn Tour, attempting to beat Challenges that the game sets up for players, grabbing a friend for some of the many multiplayer modes, or simply working on beating a player's own score in Stroke play.

The sports announcers in EA Sports PGA Tour are highly entertaining. Though it can be discouraging to hear the announcers making comments when things are going poorly during a round, the voice-over work is very smooth and features a large enough library of commentary that repeated statements are uncommon. This can help bring a person into the game and adds a lot to the immersion.

The Challenges mode within EA Sports PGA Tour offers several unique snapshots from games where a player is placed in a certain situation, often with a backstory of a real-life occurrence that event came from, and then are given three criteria they must accomplish to complete the Challenge.

Physics and environmental data were all closely analyzed in creating EA Sports PGA Tour , even to ensure that the ball behaves with next-gen responsiveness. When a shot is made, whether a long drive or a short putt, the ball will spin, bounce, dribble, and roll just as it would in real life on that course. Golf swing mechanics are applied based on the players' own movements with the controller, and according to developers, the use of EA Sports Pure Strike technology with PGA Tour ShotLink and TrackMan data gives a highly accurate result of what would have happened on a real golf course.

Considering how much of the player character is seen throughout the game, both in cut scenes and in lining up every shot, EA Sports PGA Tour should have made more options for character design. The women's hair in particular is poorly created considering the impressive technology used everywhere else. Currently, there seem to also be some bugs in registering swing mechanics with a controller joystick, which can be game-breaking with the amount of precision necessary for EA Sports PGA Tour . While hopefully that will be corrected with updates, at the time of this review, it made an already challenging game nearly impossible.

EA Sports PGA Tour is an absolutely beautiful and immersive golf game with a very realistic feel. The game can be quite demanding on even some of the better systems, so PC users should be forewarned to check the requirements and be ready to turn down graphic settings. It is a challenging game, but still a lot of fun and is a great foundation for players to become better with the ability to see true growth happening as they continue to practice, as long as the player has enough patience to get there.

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.  

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.

Powered by the groundbreaking Unreal Engine 5.1 technology, Immortals of Aveum puts players in a visceral and cinematic fantasy universe that combines modern characters and a story-driven campaign with intense magic-based action, world exploration and puzzle-solving. The game tells the story of Jak (played by actor Darren Barnet) who discovers that he is a magically-imbued ‘Unforeseen’ and finds himself reluctantly caught in the middle of the raging Everwar. EA Sports College Football 25 trailer, date, covers revealed: Video game set for July 2024 release

Ea sports released the official cover of 'college football 25' on thursday featuring three of the game's top players ahead of the 2024 season.

EA Sports on Thursday announced the official release date for the upcoming "College Football 25" video game while also sharing the covers for the regular and deluxe editions of the highly anticipated title. The first college football video game to be published after an 11-year hiatus will feature   Michigan running back Donovan Edwards , Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers  and Colorado athlete Travis Hunter  on the covers, which were partially leaked last week.

As for "College Football 25" itself, the game will be released on Friday, July 19. A more complete announcement will come this Friday with EA Sports expected to drop more gameplay footage and additional teases for the game.

The deluxe edition of " College Football 25" appeared in the PlayStation Store  last week with the option for fans to wish list the game. That version's cover art included Edwards, Ewers, Hunter, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe , Georgia quarterback Carson Beck and Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins , as well as unnamed players from programs like Clemson , USC , and Notre Dame .

Speaking of Ewers, his backup at Texas,  Arch Manning, is not likely to appear in the game  as he  was not among the 10,000-plus players to opt-in for the game .

Players who opted in for "College Football 25" will receive $600 NIL checks, while several high-profile athletes landed more lucrative deals that include branding and trailer appearances for the title ahead of the game's summer 2024 release.

In February, EA Sports confirmed its revival of the college football video game series, which has been on ice since 2013, will release this summer. The company put out a hype trailer and released renderings of some in-game assets, including player models, mascots and stadiums.

CBS Sports Top 100 Ranking: Not ranked

Edwards might be seen by some as a curious choice to be absolute front-and-center, but reigning national champion Michigan is deserving of primo representation and it lost a trove of players to the NFL Draft . Defensive tackle Mason Graham and cornerback Will Johnson Jr. are better players, but they don't have the mass appeal of Edwards. Edwards rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on just six carries in the title win vs. Washington . He gets the backfield mostly to himself with Blake Corum gone. He could end up being a brilliant choice as coverboy.  

Texas QB Quinn Ewers

CBS Sports Top 100 Ranking: No. 15

As Texas migrates to the SEC, all eyes will be on Quinn Ewers to see if the former No. 1 overall recruit can take the final leap to an elite, national championship-winning quarterback. He has a loaded system of skill players around him. More games like his road showing at Alabama (349 yards, three touchdowns in a win) or Big 12 Championship throttling of Oklahoma State (454 yards, four touchdowns) will work just fine. 

Colorado CB Travis Hunter

CBS Sports Top 100 Ranking: No. 1

The most famous dude in all of college football is Travis Hunter, who plays both ways for a Colorado team that receives no shortage of headlines. Hunter will likely stick at cornerback in the NFL , where he's a projected top-3 pick. Hunter was the No. 1-ranked recruit in the class of 2022 who made Signing Day shockwaves when he flipped from Florida State to sign with Jackson State and Deion Sanders. When Sanders left Jackson State for the head coaching job at Colorado in 2023, Hunter followed. He's pure dynamite.

• Inaugurar nuestro segundo evento anual Field the Future de EA SPORTS Madden NFL en colaboración con Microsoft, Nike, DICK’s Sporting Goods, Las Vegas Raiders de la NFL y TOGETHXR, con una retransmisión en directo benéfica para apoyar a Got Her Back, una organización sin ánimo de lucro que trabaja  para empoderar a mujeres deportistas de todo el mundo mediante la visibilidad, la educación y la orientación.

También es un auténtico honor haber recibido las nominaciones a Negocio futbolístico del año y Mejor compromiso de la afición en los próximos Women’s Football Awards , por nuestro trabajo durante el año pasado para intentar hacer que el mundo del fútbol sea más inclusivo para las mujeres y por nuestra forma de interactuar con la afición del fútbol femenino para conseguir que se involucre. ¡No te pierdas el anuncio de los premios el 30 de mayo!

DEFENDEMOS LA INCLUSIÓN EN LAS COMUNIDADES EN LAS QUE VIVIMOS, TRABAJAMOS Y JUGAMOS

Seguimos incrementando el acceso y creando oportunidades en la educación en CTIAM para mujeres mediante nuestras asociaciones globales, además de fomentar la inclusión en nuestros estudios para crear una sensación de pertenencia verdadera a la organización.

Hemos tomado medidas:

• Motivar a estudiantes, en particular a mujeres y no binaries, a entrar en los juegos con nuestro campamento de CTIAM anual en el estudio de EA Orlando, que emplea los videojuegos para conectar y atraer a estudiantes que tengan interés en desarrollar una carrera en CTIAM y otros campos relacionados.
• Reforzar nuestra colaboración con organizaciones comunitarias como Canada Learning Code (CLC) , a quienes nuestra última inversión ayudó a financiar  iniciativas muy importantes, como impulsar sus sucursales en Columbia Británica para ofrecer los talleres de Ladies Learning Code.
• Celebrar eventos internos y externos que ayudan a las mujeres que buscan comenzar su carrera en la industria tecnológica y de los videojuegos a relacionarse con nuestras líderes y a descubrir oportunidades laborales en EA SPORTS , como nuestro último evento Women in Tech con el itinerario de informática de la Universidad de Columbia Británica.
• Nuestro comité de diversidad, igualdad e inclusión de EA SPORTS y nuestros consejos de diversidad, igualdad e inclusión a nivel de unidad de negocio (que ayudan a dar forma a nuestros objetivos y alinearlos con nuestra estrategia general), así como siete grupos de recursos de personal (ERG, por sus siglas en inglés) de EA, incluido el ERG de Women's Ultimate Team , que unen a personas en torno a una afinidad común o una experiencia compartida.
• Invertir en educación en CTIAM con experiencias que acaban con las brechas de oportunidades y ayudan a desarrollar las habilidades de CTIAM para impulsar a la nueva generación de talento centrado en la innovación y la resolución creativa de problemas.

Allanar el camino para las mujeres en CTIAM es una prioridad para Natali Altshuler, vicepresidenta sénior y directora de operaciones en EA SPORTS. «Las mujeres aportan sus perspectivas y experiencias únicas, por lo que su participación es fundamental para que se siga innovando en esta industria. Me siento inspirada por nuestro esfuerzo constante para promover una mayor inclusión y sensación de pertenencia y para crear oportunidades que permitan a las mujeres crecer y seguir desarrollándose en CTIAM en todas nuestras comunidades».
