We have 2 locations offering 2 hour waverunner dolphin tours departing from the Destin Harbor. Reservations are required. Space is limited, so please book early (in the event of bad weather at the time of your reservation, you will be given the option to reschedule or you may cancel at no charge.)

The cost of each two-hour dolphin tour is $150 per waverunner. Each jet ski can accommodate up to 2 people (with a max weight of 400 lbs).

Important Things to Know

• Renters must be at least 18.
• Anyone born after Jan 1, 1988 will need a Florida boater’s safety card (or NASBLA equivalent from another state). The test is available online here . Please complete the test before arriving.
• You will need to bring a valid driver’s license and a credit card.
• Please note that although there is a high success rate of finding dolphins, that dolphins are wild animals and sightings are not guaranteed.

You must be at least 18 years old to rent a jet ski and 16 years old to drive with a valid driver’s license. Florida law requires anyone born after January 1, 1988, to present a valid driver’s license and a boater safety certificate. Your jet ski may reach speeds of up to 55 mph, depending on conditions. Your guide will keep you in sight if you want to try out a little speed on your way to the dolphins. If you prefer a slower pace, we can manage that, too.

You don’t need any prior experience to take our jet ski dolphin tour. You’ll be provided with instruction before your tour begins.

Well, we’re pretty confident in our ability to help you see some dolphins on your tour. But, the dolphins at Panama City Beach are wild creatures. We can’t guarantee that they’ll cooperate with our plans. Our tour guides are familiar with the area and where the dolphins can be found. We’ll do our best to make sure you get to see the wonderful creatures up close and in their natural habitat during your jet ski dolphin tour.

Our tour guide will take you to some of the best places to see dolphins, including Shell Island. If you’d like to stop at the island to snorkel or look for shells, we can do that, too. It is your tour, after all.

Your jet ski will have enough room to stash your snorkel gear, bottled water or anything else that can handle getting wet. You won’t want to bring anything that can’t handle being in the water, though. Plan to bring what you would need to be out in the sun for the duration of your tour–just make sure it’s sealed up tight.

Whether you’re boating with us for the first time or you’ve experienced our second-to-none boat service before, there are a few things you’ll want to be sure you bring each and every time:

• Valid photo ID for anyone driving the ski, must be 18+
• Valid photo ID and credit card for whoever books it, must be 18+
• A credit card to hold your reservation

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We require jet ski operators to at least be 18 years of age while a parent or guardian must be present to sign for said jet ski. State law also requires signer of said ski be at least 18 years old to rent.

If the waters are calm we an accommodate as young as 8 years old.

Drivers born after Jan 1st, 1988 must obtain a boaters safety card. You may obtain one by taking an exam online. Go here for details. The test is relatively easy and you can take it until you pass! If you plan to take onsite, you must arrive 45 min to 1 hour prior to departure.

While Florida’s Gulf Coast is teaming with wildlife, we can not guarantee a dolphin sighting. We make every effort and know multiple area where dolphins frequent, however dolphins are still wild animals and go where they wish.

We understand that life happens so we have a no hassle 48 hour cancellation policy. However, cancellations made within 48 hours of your reservation, and no shows, are charged in full.

For up to the last minute cancelations we do offer Trip Protection.

We make every effort to stay in front of the weather. If we cancel your reservation due to weather, every effort will be made to get you rescheduled. If rescheduling is not an option then a full refund will be made.

Operators(drivers) of the pontoon and/or jet ski must speak fluent English. This is a safety precaution due to the boaters safety course and the signs out on the water.

Guests born in 1988 or after may operate the Jet Ski if they have a photo I.D. and meet  ONE  of the following criteria:

• They have a Temporary Florida Boater Certificate. Get Certified Now
• They are riding with someone born before 1988.
• They are riding with someone born in 1988 or after who does have a United States Boater Safety License.

A credit card & photo ID that includes date of birth are required for all jet ski rentals. If you were born in or after 1988, you must have a Boater Safety License to operate a Jet Ski. Guests born before 1988 are not required to have a Boater Safety License to operate a Jet Ski.

Jet Ski Dolphin Watch Trips begin at Dock Holiday Marina on the Intracoastal Waterway. Here, you will receive professional and personal service from the moment you arrive. First, you will be given safety instructions for the proper use of the Jet Ski while out on the water. Then, you’ll get hands on operating instructions of the Jet Ski .

Once we get everyone comfortable and ready with their personal water craft, it’s time to leave the docks.

As we leave, you will see beautiful Intracoastal Waterway homes and the Historic Little River Swing Bridge. We’ll slow down to idle speed through the NO WAKE zone.

Once we pass thru the Swing Bridge, we will be approaching Harborgate Marina and Anchor Marina. Inside these marinas, you will see boats from 10′ John boats to 70′ luxury yachts. Once out of the no wake zone, we’re on our way. It‘s time to BURN some octane!!

As we approach Historic Little River Fishing Village, we’ll slow down to idle speed through the NO WAKE zone to check out a variety of boats including Shrimp Trawlers , Commercial Fishing boats, and even a couple of Casino boats.

That’s enough of the no wake zones. Its time for more gas. We are on are way to the barrier island and the Atlantic Ocean. Once on the Barrier Island, you can stroll along the beach, searching for that special shell to take home. Or, you can explore the 30 foot tall sand dunes, but steer clear of the dune grass, they have sharp sand spears that will stick to your feet and hands and they’re illegal to tamper with. After about 20 minutes of serenity on the island, it’s time to get back on our skis and head out to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean (conditions permitting) to get the up close and personal encounter with the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin !

If your guide has found the dolphins, he/she will very, carefully guide you close to the pod. You will be able to see the most respected aquatic mammal in its natural habitat.

Sit back and enjoy the natural beauties that are found along the waters of the Grand Strand.

Departure Information

Tours generally run three times per day, at 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm. Visit our booking page for confirmation. 

All tours depart from Goodland Boat Park at 750 Palm Drive , on Goodland Bay, just East of of Marco Island. We ask that all tour participants try to arrive 30 minutes ahead of their tour to run through a safety briefing and sign our damage and release waiver.

After you register for the course, you will have the option to review the study material prior to taking the exam. You also will have unlimited exam attempts to pass the exam.

Do tours take place rain or shine?

If the weather is unfavorable for being on the water, the trip will be rescheduled for another time or day. We do not go out in heavy storms but might in a slight drizzle. If temperatures are cool, we have windbreakers that you can borrow.

Participation requirements

• Florida law requires the renter of the jet ski or pontoon to be at least  18 years of age  and if you were born January 1, 1988, or after you must  have taken and passed the Florida Boat Rental Test and obtained a Florida Temporary Boating Certificate.  Click here to take the 25 multiple-choice test online  so you are ready to head out when you arrive. The test costs $3.00 for the exam only and $9.99 to get study materials.
• 16-17 year olds can drive a jet ski as long as they have their boater safety card, a valid ID, and an adult (18+) is nearby /on a jet ski and takes responsibility for the person under 18.

Good to know

• Some experience is recommended as it will be important to be able to ride on plane (15+ mph) to stay on pace with the group. If you cannot operate the jet ski at the minimum pace you may have to return early and no refund will be given.
• Make sure you fill out your waiver of liability online before you arrive so that you can go boating and do not have to do this on-site before you can leave. You will be sent an email with the waiver after booking.
• You will be provided with a damage/repair price list and agree to be liable for the return of and damage to the equipment. See our terms and conditions for more details about our damage protection policy.
• Please arrive back at the marina on time so our staff can complete their work for the day and get off at their scheduled time. There are late fees for late arrivals.
• Parking is available on the property.
• Please arrive 30 minutes before your departure.
