This itinerary has been thoughtfully crafted to offer you a signature route that will allow you to discover Bhutan’s most famous sights as well as its historical, cultural, and spiritual hotspots.

Our vacation plans are never set in stone, and this one is no exception. We are able to completely modify it so that it is in line with your budget, pace, and how you want to spend your time, giving you the freedom to dream up an ideal vacation in Bhutan . If you have your own preferred itinerary ideas, let us know in the form below so we can tailor-make it for you to match your vision for your trip. With that being said, let’s take a closer look at each day of the suggested itinerary below.

Make a Positive Impact on Your Journey

Realizing the importance of making both local communities and tourist destinations better is a significant component of running a successful tourism business. As tour operators, we put great care and effort into creating tours that showcase our destinations in the best light and allow you to support the local communities and their economies as you explore them. Here’s how your visit to Bhutan can, in turn, create a better life for the people, its environment and others living in this pristine Himalayan kingdom.

1. Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)

In order to lessen the negative consequences of mass tourism, the Bhutanese government has always taken a cautious approach to tourism-related activities. The SDF of $200 per person per day goes directly to the Bhutanese government, which uses it to fund initiatives ranging from conservation to community education, to train workers in the travel and tourism industry, and to advance carbon-neutral infrastructure and organic farming. You’ll get to play a part in these efforts, which are keeping Bhutan carbon negative by balancing the amount of carbon dioxide it generates.

2. Enjoy a Hearty Home-cooked Meal

Our tours give you the opportunity to partake in specially arranged home-cooked meals and cooking lessons with the locals, using ingredients grown in their gardens or gathered from the surrounding valley. It’s a greener and more sustainable option because it uses locally sourced, organic ingredients rather than products that are imported. Local home visits also contribute to the improvement of these people’s overall standard of living by offering additional income while allowing you to get an intimate understanding of the local culture and community you are visiting.

Bhutan - Kingdom Amongst The Himalayas

3. Enhancing Educational Opportunities for the Underprivileged

We don’t just give you an amazing vacation. We also seek out opportunities for you to give back to the communities and help local people as you travel. Purchasing mementoes made by the students of the Zorig Chusum Traditional Arts School helps to ensure that underprivileged children in Bhutan have better access to quality education. The funds are redistributed to local schools, where they equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to find better employment opportunities or establish their own businesses.

4. Local Tour Guides

We always engage with local tour guides. This way, local people are empowered as a result of the chances for employment, development, and conservation offered, while visitors can participate in high-quality, unique experiences while knowing they are making a direct and positive influence. When done properly, community-based tourism is the pinnacle of good tourism. It is ideal for fostering economic growth, protecting native traditions, and providing memorable adventures for visitors.
