The best time to visit Las Vegas is from March to May and from September to November. While you'll find plenty of travel deals throughout the year, the spring and fall shoulder seasons offer the most moderate weather. Sin City welcomes an influx of visitors during the winter months, especially surrounding New Year's Eve, the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day, and the sweltering summers see daytime temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. No matter when you decide to visit Vegas, try to plan a midweek trip – because this is a common weekend getaway destination, you'll find more rooms at lower rates between Tuesday and Thursday.

Las Vegas is also home to hundreds of conventions each year, which can drive up room rates. Before setting travel dates, check the city's tourism board convention schedule to find out which hotels are hosting what and when – this will help you secure a better deal at your choice hotel.

When isn't it a good time to visit Las Vegas? It's a tough question, as Las Vegas is vibrant and lively 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Still, there are some times that are better than others to visit, especially since the city sits in the middle of the Nevada desert and temperatures can range from one extreme to another.

We'll walk you through the best times to plan your trip to Sin City, whether you're looking for the best weather, the splashiest events or the fewest crowds.

When to find the best weather

Temperatures in Las Vegas can swing wildly, depending on the time of year you visit.

The average high in summer soars above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, which means that walking down The Strip becomes a sweaty chore and heat stroke can be a real possibility. In the winter, temperatures can plummet below freezing, which makes the outdoor walk equally unappealing.

Luckily, some of the hotels are connected by indoor walkways to protect you from the elements. However, you'll still need to venture outside every once in a while.

For the best weather, head to Las Vegas in March, April, October or November, when temperatures range around a pleasant 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid January, February and December when the coldest weather is most likely. Likewise, steer clear of July and August to avoid the hottest days.

Best times to visit to avoid the crowds

Contrary to what you might expect, you'll probably find the lightest crowds during the months with the best weather.

In the fall, when school is back in session, there are fewer tourists. (Yes, people do bring kids to Sin City and there are plenty of activities in Las Vegas for families.)

Similarly, after all the holiday parties end (and excluding spring break), you'll find late winter and spring to be the emptiest. Though you'd think scalding temperatures would scare most folks away, exciting large-scale events like Fourth of July fireworks combined with an abundance of air conditioning mean the city remains busy even at the height of summer.

When to visit for festivals and events

In the city that seems to go full-throttle day and night, you'll never run out of things to do. From extravagant rooftop clubs to entire theme parks built indoors, Las Vegas is a Pandora's box of gambling, eating, concerts, shows, drinking and more.

Shows and concerts rotate on various schedules, so there's always something new to check out. Despite this, some times are better than others for annual events.

For music lovers, the Billboard Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music's Country Music Awards (CMA)* both take place in spring, and these events draw crowds.

If you love food, Bon Appetit's Uncork'd is Las Vegas' busiest festival. Celebrity chefs turn up (often in their own restaurants) for unique master classes, galas, wine tastings and more. It's a gut-buster in the best way. NASCAR also hosts its first of two Las Vegas events each year on the first weekend of March.

*Note that the CMAs were held in Nashville in 2022 but are returning to Las Vegas in 2023.

As befits the home of hundreds of casinos, the World Series of Poker takes place in Las Vegas every year, stretching across nearly three months. Give the tournament a shot or just stick around to watch as the big names come in to compete for a multimillion-dollar prize.

Even bigger than the WSOP are the Independence Day celebrations, and you'll find huge parties everywhere you look. Nearly a dozen different casinos put on fireworks shows, and you can basically stroll into any restaurant, bar or casino to find a celebration. If you're looking for a real party, though, plan ahead. Reservations will be required for most, and they book up early.

Festivals come back to life as temperatures cool. The iHeart Radio Music Festival happens in September, drawings thousands of attendees from around the country to see big-name artists.

September also brings football, as the Raiders (the city's NFL team) kick off the season, which runs through early January. Every October, the Rise Festival takes place outside the city in the Mojave Desert. It features entertainment, food and artistic spaces, then closes out festivities with the world's largest sky lantern release.

NASCAR's second Las Vegas event of the year is held every October, which is also the month when the Golden Knights (Vegas's NHL hockey team) start their season, which runs through early June.

Finally, if all this isn't enough, you can attend the Las Vegas Greek Festival to sample delicious food as well as music and dancing over a weekend in September (the 23-25 this year).

Though the desert can get very cold in the winter, December is one of the best months to visit Las Vegas.

For college football fans, the Las Vegas Bowl usually takes place just before Christmas. Also, New Year's Eve is even bigger than the Fourth of July, with sold-out hotels and casinos putting on massive shows to celebrate the new year. The streets will be packed and the rooms pricey, so arrange your stay far in advance if you plan to visit during this time.

The first floor of the Bellagio also showcases massive holiday displays during the winter. In late winter, check out the Rock n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon, which, because it's Vegas, is run at night during February and has a party atmosphere.

The best time to see the Bellagio fountain show

The water show in front of the Bellagio runs daily unless it's canceled due to severe circumstances like bad weather. While there's a timetable for when the shows occur , not all viewings are created equal.

At present, you can view the fountain show on weekdays at intervals of every 30 minutes between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and at intervals of every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight. On weekends, the show occurs every 30 minutes from noon to 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The best time to see the Bellagio fountain is after sunset because the lights add so much to the show. During the daytime, you won't see these as clearly. It also may be much hotter when watching the show in the daytime, as there are not many places to stand in the shade while getting a good view.

If you're looking for a great vantage point and are willing to pay for premium space where you don't have to fight the crowds, consider booking a reservation at one of the restaurants with views over the fountain or a room at the Bellagio with views of the display.

For those looking to see the Bellagio fountain show for free, you can stand on one of three sides of the water. Along the Strip, there's ample space on the sidewalk to view the show with the Bellagio in the background (seen above).

If you're coming from inside the Bellagio, exit the lobby and head down the steps or walkway on your left side. From here, you can watch the water show looking out toward the Strip and the Paris Las Vegas beyond (seen below).

The best time for affordable airfare

Fortunately for visitors, the city of Las Vegas exists almost solely to bring in tourists.

This means that cheap airfare can typically be found year-round, with McCarran International Airport (LAS) hosting airlines from around the world, including several small regional carriers based around the U.S. Heck, we've even seen $15 one-way fares to Las Vegas on Frontier from many U.S. gateways.

For the best prices, avoid the traditional high seasons for flying and focus on the months of September-November and January-April (excluding spring break).

The best time for affordable hotels

Hotels run the gamut in Las Vegas, from ultra-cheap $10-per-night specials to expansive penthouses that'll happily ring you up for thousands of dollars.

Vegas is rife with chain hotels and opportunities to redeem points , but be aware of which hotels offer things like waived resort fees on award stays versus those that don't, as the city is one of the worst offenders when it comes to stacking on amenity or resort fees.

Though some hotels are beginning to offer free parking , you can still be on the hook for major money if you're not careful about where you stay. For the cheapest times, visit during the shoulder season of September–November and January–April.

You can even find low rates during the summer when the city is at its hottest. However, avoid major holidays and aim for stays starting on Sundays, when the weekend crowds dissipate.

High temperatures in Las Vegas can exceed 100°F during the summer months, and the heat can extend into early fall. Also, don’t let the desert environment fool you. Winters here can see freezing temps, which can make walking along the Strip quite unpleasant.

While the temps here may vary by season, the overall climate of Las Vegas is dry since both precipitation and humidity levels are low. The average winter and summer temperatures are 49°F and 89.6°F, while the yearly average is 68.5°F.

Again, don’t let the desert fool you, as Las Vegas’ winter weather can get chilly. The average yearly low is 58.7°F, and the coldest temperature on record is 8°F .

To be fair, there isn’t a bad time to come here, but if you want to avoid the crowds or attend an event, you’ll want to do some planning. Most popular time to visit Las Vegas

While this city is popular year-round, it does have certain times of the year that are more crowded.

The summer weather in Las Vegas keeps many visitors away, although Memorial Day weekend, July 4th, and Labor Day weekend tend to bring crowds. Also, December is a wildly popular month, thanks to the National Finals Rodeo, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve celebrations.

I also recommend checking Sin City’s calendar of events since things like conventions, expos, and tournaments can mean lots more tourists on the Strip. For example, during March Madness, there will be lots of sports fans flooding the city.

Best month to go to Las Vegas for good weather

If you want to experience the best weather in Las Vegas , plan your visit for early spring or late fall. This is the best time to go to Las Vegas for pleasant temperatures around 60°F to 70°F.

Cheapest time to go to Vegas

The best month to go to Vegas for a budget-friendly vacation is January, specifically after the New Year’s festivities are over.

You’ll find inexpensive airfare to McCarran Airport in January and February. Those low prices should extend into April as long as you don’t book during spring break. If you’d rather visit in the fall, you can find cheap plane tickets from September to November.

Worst time to go to Las Vegas

The worst time to visit Sin City is when the weather is unpleasant, and there are tons of crowds. So, if you want to avoid those obstacles, I suggest avoiding mid-December to New Year’s as well as July and August. Again, it’s a good idea to check if any events are going on during your planned travel dates, too.

Like most places in the U.S., Las Vegas experiences different seasons throughout the year. Below is a summary of the spring, fall, winter, and summer weather in Las Vegas, NV .

Las Vegas summer weather

The Vegas Strip is sizzling during the summer months, with an average temperature of 90°F and highs in the 100s.

The hot summer weather in Las Vegas makes it the perfect time to visit the best pools in Vegas. You can also keep cool by seeing a show or hitting the best Las Vegas casinos . If you want to walk along the Strip or visit Fremont Street, I recommend waiting until after dark to go out.

Las Vegas weather in fall

If you visit in the fall, the temperatures in Las Vegas will be cooler than in the brutal summer. You’ll also get the added benefit of the slower tourism season from September to November.

Average temps in the fall hover around the mid-60s, making it a great time for hiking in Las Vegas .

Las Vegas winter weather

Winter in Sin City can get chilly, but not blistering cold. Also, there isn’t much precipitation, so it rarely snows in Vegas. If you love the holidays, it’s worth celebrating Christmas in Las Vegas since the city has all kinds of events and beautiful decorations.

Once the holidays are over, January and February are two of the best months to visit Las Vegas to avoid crowds.

Las Vegas weather in spring

The weather in Las Vegas in March , April, and May is typically very comfortable. It’ll be warm but not too hot, and you’ll get full days of sunshine. The average temperatures hover around the high 60s, so take advantage of Las Vegas’ spring weather by visiting some nearby attractions.

This is also the most romantic time to go to Sin City, and there are lots of couples things to do in Vegas , like the Bellagio Conservatory or The Venetian’s gondola rides .

The Las Vegas climate isn’t the only thing to consider when planning your trip. As I mentioned, the city hosts different special events throughout the year, so I’m listing the most popular ones below by month.

Las Vegas in January

New Year’s Day is an exciting time in Vegas in January because most attractions open back up. The first week of January also brings the Consumer Electronics Show to town. Other events include the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day parade , and the Adult Entertainment Expo , and the Las Vegas Winter Market towards the end of the month.

Las Vegas in February

February in Vegas is known for  Super Bowl weekend  and  Valentine’s Day , but other events occur during this month. These include  Chinese New Year ,  NHL Honda All-Star Weekend ,  MAGIC Marketplace Spring Show , the  Black History Month Festival ,  Mardi Gras , and the  NFL Pro Bowl .

Las Vegas in March

Some of the most popular March events are the  NASCAR Cup Series ,  St. Patrick’s Day , and  Spring Break . Also, sports fans will flock to Sin City for  NCAA March Madness . The  Vegas ToyCon  and the  Nightclub & Bar Show Expo  also occur in March.

Las Vegas in April

If you visit Vegas in April, you can catch the  Las Vegas Spring Market  and the  Clark County Fair & Rodeo . A few other popular events are the  Great Vegas Festival of Beer , the  City of Lights Jazz Festival , and the  Evolution  wine-tasting festival. CinemaCon and the  Academy of Country Music Awards  take place at the end of the month.

Las Vegas in May

Cinco de Mayo  is a big celebration in Las Vegas in May, and  Memorial Day weekend  at the end of the month ushers in the summer season. In-between those events, you can attend the  Vegas UnStripped  food festival, the  Electric Daisy Carnival , and the  Exodus  music fest. The  Fremont Street Experience Concert Series  also kicks off in May.

Las Vegas in June

In June, celebrate  Pride Month  in Vegas and indulge during  Restaurant Week . The Juneteenth Jazz Legacy & Heritage Festival is a two-day event you can check out. This month also includes the  Vegas Fringe Festival  and  Reggae in the Desert .

Las Vegas in July

July 4th  is a top summer event in Sin City, so expect lots of tourists. The  Las Vegas Summer Market  also takes place in July, as does  Big Dog’s Summer Beer Fest . If you like music, check out the  Las Vegas Tribute Festival  commemorating Elvis, and for sports fans, the  NBA Summer League  is a top event.

Las Vegas in August

If you’re visiting Sin City in August, you can check out the  DEFCON  hacking expo,  Vegas Tejano Music Week , or the  Psycho Las Vegas  rock’n’roll event.

Las Vegas in September

Some restaurants and attractions have specials for  Labor Day , although September brings other exciting events. For example, the  Life is Beautiful  and  iHeartRadio  music festivals are wildly popular. The  Las Vegas Fall Market  and the  Motor Trend International Auto Show  also occur in September.

Las Vegas in October

If you’re a foodie, you’ll love Sin City in October. The  Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival ,  Greek Food Festival ,  USA Today Food & Wine Experience , and  Downtown Brew Festival  occur in October. The  RiSE Festival  takes place in the Mojave Desert, while the  Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival  brings some medieval history to Vegas. Also, don’t forget about traditional October events like Halloween and Oktoberfest !

Las Vegas in November

Before the early holiday events kick in, check out the  World Series of Poker  or the  Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival . If you love music, the  Latin GRAMMY Awards  and  Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon  also take place in November. Lots of restaurants and hotels have Thanksgiving specials, too.

Las Vegas in December

Christmas  events are in full swing in December, but you can also check out the  Nevada International Film Festival . The  National Finals Rodeo  draws huge crowds, as does  New Year’s Eve  on the Strip.

However, it can be challenging to know when is the best time to visit Las Vegas with so much to do. This blog post will help you figure out when the best time is to go and what you can expect during your trip.

Most Popular Time To Visit Las Vegas

According to the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, the most popular time to visit Las Vegas is in March, May, July, and October, with nearly 3.7 million people visiting each of those months in 2019. Aside from July, these months have great weather.

Las Vegas hosts enormous events throughout the year that draw in the crowds.

The most significant events include New Year’s Eve, the Consumer Electronics Show, the Super Bowl, Spring Break, March Madness, EDC, 4th of July, Life Is Beautiful Music Festival and more.

New Year’s Eve is the busiest day in Las Vegas.

Hundreds of thousands of people crowd The Strip for a massive countdown celebration. The first week of January is CES which brings hundreds of thousands of people from the tech world together for the largest convention of the year.

The Super Bowl takes over with passionate football fans filling every sportsbook, bar, and casino in February. In March, the sports fans keep coming for NASCAR, March Madness, and Spring Break.

The city fills up as the weather improves and pool season kicks off in April and May. The EDC music festival takes over Las Vegas Motor Speedway as hundreds of thousands of ravers flood the city at the end of May.

The weather heats up, and the city slows down through the summer, with The 4th of July as the only big attraction until September. The summer is when you’ll find the best hotel deals.

Labor Day revitalizes the city as the final pool parties of the season commence in September. Raiders fans and convention-goers fill the city in October and November.

Then in early December, something magical happens when the cowboys fill every bar in the city with the National Finals Rodeo, and Las Vegas has one last party before New Year’s Eve.

Best Time To Visit Las Vegas for Good Weather

The weather in Las Vegas can be extreme, but there’s some relief for tourists who visit during certain times of the year. Avoid the hot summer months due to high temperatures that often exceed 110°F.

For the best weather in Las Vegas, you should visit in the spring or fall. Temperatures range from 75°F to 90°F during these months.

Las Vegas also experiences little rainfall, so you can expect clear blue skies with minimal clouds.

If you plan to spend time at the pool or walking from casino to casino, then March, April, May, September, and October are great months to visit.

If you want to go outside to explore Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead, or other popular parks, visiting during October, November, February, and March are ideal.

What is the Las Vegas weather like?

The weather in Las Vegas is always sunny. With almost 300 sunny days a year, you should only be concerned about the temperature. Throughout the year, Sin City sees temperatures ranging from 60° to 107°. The spring and fall are delightful, mild winter, and scorching hot–particularly in July and August.

When I was a rideshare driver, I remember picking up some passengers at Caesars Palace in February. They asked me to crank up the heat because they only brought shorts, sandals, and t-shirts. They said they thought Las Vegas was a desert and didn’t understand why it was so cold.

Always check the Las Vegas weather forecast before you pack, so you aren’t surprised by temperatures, wind, or rain.

The city only sees rain a few times a year, so it’s unlikely you’ll see precipitation while you’re in town. However, when it rains, it pours, and flash floods may become an issue.

For the most part, tourists don’t need to worry about the precipitation because it only affects small portions of The Strip and Downtown.

What months are hot in Las Vegas?

Summer in Las Vegas is oppressive, but we have sunshine year-round. So lather up with sunscreen and find all the shade you can. July and August are the hottest months in Las Vegas, with highs of 107° and lows down to 67°. The sun goes down around 8:00 PM in the summer, but the heat never seems to go away.

Some hotels put up great deals during the oppressive heat of August and July. If you’re sensitive to heat, do not come to Las Vegas in the summer. People say, “It’s a dry heat.” but so is an oven.

Ironically, if you are coming during the summer, pack a light sweatshirt for when you’re inside the casino, restaurants, and hotels. Most buildings are blasting air-conditioning all day, and it can get a little chilly inside.

What is the coldest month in Las Vegas?

Bring lots of layers if you plan on coming for the big New Year’s Eve celebration. January is the coldest month in Las Vegas, with an average high temperature of 59° and lows of 28°. The second coldest month is December, which makes for chilly holidays.

Temperatures start to dip in the middle of October until early April, which is one of the best times to visit Las Vegas if you’re not interested in using a pool. During the fall and winter, hotel prices are often more affordable on the weekends.

I like to call this time of the year “hiking season” because it’s the perfect weather to put on a light jacket and go explore Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, and the trails at Lake Mead. It’s the best time to visit Las Vegas for outdoor activities and events.

Best time to visit to avoid the crowds

So what is the slowest month in Las Vegas? February. According to the LVCVA, in February 2019, there were half a million fewer visitors than in the peak months. You will find great hotel deals, cheaper show tickets, and fewer crowds.

The weather in February is mild but not warm enough for the pool. Most pools in Vegas are still closed in February. There are a few heated pools around town like  Circa’s Stadium Swim , but don’t count on warm weather.

If you want to avoid crowds and save some money, book your trip to Vegas in February.

When is Las Vegas pool season?

Ready to take a dip? Las Vegas pool season heats up in March and lasts through September. A handful of resorts–like Circa –keep their pools heated and open year-round.

Buyer beware; getting out of the pool in the winter is a bone-chilling experience. And if you’re you’re heading to Vegas for Spring Break, the weather in March can be hit and miss.

Every resort has its pool open for Spring Break, but it’s not uncommon for a high of 65°F to 75°F.

The best time to visit Las Vegas for pool parties and sunbathing is April, May, and September. You’ll enjoy the best temperatures for a soak with plenty of sunshine.

Summer in Las Vegas is brutal. For me, July and August are uncomfortably hot even in the pool, with temps well over 100°F all day long. If you get sunburnt quickly, save yourself the misery by avoiding these months if you can.

When is the cheapest time to visit Las Vegas?

Historically, the cheapest time in Las Vegas has been July and August when it’s 110° outside. If you don’t plan on going out, you will find fantastic hotel prices in the dead of summer. It may be a dry heat, but so is your oven, so be warned, the summer is not ideal for people wanting to spend a lot of time outside.

If you’re coming to gamble, watch some baseball , or enjoy the shows, the summer is a great time to visit Las Vegas. If you can’t decide between July and August, August’s crowds are generally smaller.

If you don’t like the heat, the second cheapest time to visit Las Vegas in winter. Outside of significant holidays and conventions, it’s easy to find a good deal in December, January, or February. You won’t spend time at the pool, but you can enjoy endless outdoor activities.

How many days do you need in Las Vegas?

While this question may seem out of place in a post about the best time to visit Las Vegas, it’s actually really important to answer. Between big events, conventions, holidays, determining how long to spend in Las Vegas is crucial to having a great experience. I always recommend visiting for three nights.

Here’s how I would determine which three nights to visit Las Vegas:

• Do you want crowds?  Choose whether you to be around lots of people. If you want the hustle and chaos of The Strip, come to town for a weekend, holiday, or special event. If you’re not a fan of big crowds, I recommend staying from Sunday to Wednesday.
• Are you concerned about the price?  You need to decide if the cost of your hotel room is a big concern. If it isn’t, come on a weekend when the weather is nice in May, June, or September. If you want to save some money, come in the off-season in November, December, or January. If you want to save money and enjoy the sun, try a midweek stay in July or August.
• Do you want to lounge in the pool?  If you do, temperatures are best in May, early June, and September. If you don’t care about the pool, you can visit during any season.
• Do you want to see a show or party at a nightclub?  Las Vegas shows and nightclubs have dark nights with no performances. Typically these fall on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. So your options may be limited with a midweek stay.

Regardless of when you visit Las Vegas, there will always be great live music, excellent food, and incredible entertainment.

While the Strip is filled with luxury and well-known places to eat, some of Vegas’s best restaurants aren’t along the main drag . For some unbelievable dining experiences, you have to get away from the Strip. See the Fountains at Bellagio

Vegas has no shortage of world-renowned attractions, and the fountains at Bellagio Hotel and Casino are easily among the best. At this daily and free show, more than a thousand fountains "dance," choreographed to music and light. This mesmerizing show takes place seven days a week throughout the afternoon and until midnight, every 15–30 minutes, depending on the time of day. If you have to see one attraction in Las Vegas—although you'll surely see several—this is one of them that you cannot miss.

Sway to the music at the Bellagio fountain show.

This expansive fountain show occurs multiple times a day, every day of the year; check the schedule once you arrive in town to make sure you catch it. The romantic spectacle is free, and onlookers line the sidewalk, mesmerized by the beauty of the dancing fountains and the music that plays along with the show.

To enjoy panoramic views of the city, hop on High Roller , the largest observation wheel in North America. You’ll ride in one of 28 spacious air-conditioned cabins for 30 minutes, at one point reaching 550 feet above the Strip. Cabins hold up to 40 guests, so grab some friends (and a cocktail or two) for the ride. Note that glass and coolers are not permitted.

Take a walk under the sea.

At Shark Reef Aquarium , you can walk through an underwater glass tunnel as more than 2,000 sea creatures swim around you. The Mandalay Bay attraction includes gracefully floating jellyfish, friendly sea turtles, and sharks gliding through a shipwreck. For an additional fee, you can book an early-entry guided tour if you'd like to feed a stingray.

Go skydiving indoors.

Travelers can experience skydiving without the airplane on the exhilarating Vegas Indoor Skydiving attraction. You can fly on your own (even kids can try it, so long as they're 40 pounds or more), or get a group of six to 10 friends or family members for a 20-minute party with private training and your own block of time in the wind tunnel. 

Play around at Topgolf.

Whether or not you're an avid golfer, this is a fun venue to spend a couple of hours, or more. Topgolf Las Vegas offers climate-controlled hitting bays, plus music, HDTVs, and a pool (must be 21 and over) with cabanas. This is a favorite spot for the Wynn’s Angelica Miozza, who comes to test her golf swing. There's also a sports bar, restaurant, and complimentary golf clubs.

Drive a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or go-cart.

At Exotics Racing , driving is extremely exciting, whether you choose a supercar, go-kart, or off-road experience. Steer an exotic car around a racetrack for the thrill of it, or have fun racing a go-kart on an outdoor track. Visitors are dazzled by the intricate designs, colors, and beauty of the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens . Each season, the 14,000-square-foot garden is transformed with floral displays, living plants, and water features. In addition to unique designs for each season, a special Lunar New Year garden is created each year.

Ride a gondola and stroll through St. Mark’s Square.

At the Venetian Resort , a gondola ride takes you through a replica of Venice, complete with the Rialto Bridge, a sparkling Grand Canal, and a serenade by your gondolier. Once off your boat, browse the upscale Grand Canal Shoppes, enjoy the street performers, or grab a gelato while you take in the atmosphere of "Italy."

Catch the light show on downtown's Fremont Street.

The largest video screen in the world is suspended 90 feet above Fremont Street for this dazzling free light show with concert-quality sound. The show begins every hour between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m., every day. While you’re in the downtown area, check out the SlotZilla zip line, which has an option to fly over the street like a superhero, landing at the historic Golden Gate Hotel and Casino.

Experience Illuminarium.

At Illuminarium Las Vegas , 4K laser projection, 3D audio, and special effects create immersive experiences not to be missed. Travel to outer space via images captured by the James Webb Space Telescope, or to the African savanna, where incredible animals roam. Enjoy the gorgeous surroundings of the 18-hole championship course at the Wynn Golf Club . The lush landscape was designed by legendary architect Tom Fazio, who partnered with his son Logan to revisit and enhance his original work. Take a side trip to Red Rock Canyon.

About 17 miles west of the Strip, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers miles of hiking trails. The preserve is also a great place for rock climbing, mountain biking, picnicking, and horseback riding, all surrounded by gorgeous scenery. A 13-mile scenic drive leads to sandstone hills, canyons, and parking areas, where visitors can explore the area's natural and cultural history.

Depending on the season, visitors can see the WNBA 2023 champions Las Vegas Aces , the Las Vegas Lights FC soccer team, Las Vegas Raiders football, or the Vegas Golden Knights NHL team. “In recent years, Las Vegas has been building its credibility as a sports destination,” Miozza said.

Get a Las Vegas history lesson at the Mob Museum.

The Mob Museum is located downtown in the city’s former federal courthouse. Its interactive exhibits highlight notorious gangsters like Al Capone and Bugsy Siegel and famous FBI agents, including J. Edgar Hoover and Eliot Ness. After your mob history lesson, visit the onsite Prohibition-era-styled speakeasy for a cocktail.

They say New York is the city that never sleeps, but Vegas doesn't seem to, either. Nightclubs and cocktail lounges abound, and there's always a themed party or DJ set to experience. Cahill called his Atomic Saloon show “one of my all-time favorite sexy circus comedy cabarets.” There’s also Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles LOVE show at The Mirage, Mystere at Treasure Island, “O” at the Bellagio, and Awakening at the Wynn. Head to Caesars Palace to see world-class talent like Adele and the newest resident headliner, Garth Brooks. And if you've got kids in tow, they can see a show , too.

Show off your skills at the Pinball Hall of Fame.

This museum houses the world’s largest pinball machine collection, with vintage machines from the 1960s, '70s, and '80s (and beyond). The machines are all restored to like-new condition, and they’re available for visitors to enjoy — it's a pretty inexpensive way to have fun at 25 or 50 cents a play.

“Staged outdoors with open-air patios for viewing, the Wynn Lake of Dreams show is something guests or visitors to Las Vegas may not know about,” Miozza told T + L. “The complimentary multimedia experience blends colorful puppetry, an immersive soundtrack, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting.” The show runs multiple times every night, starting at dusk.

Snap a few photos for the 'gram.

About 10 miles south of the Strip is Seven Magic Mountains , a group of neon-colored totems created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, and a very popular site with shutterbugs. Next, head downtown for a self-guided mural tour , or visit the Museum of Selfies at the LINQ Promenade. And, of course, there’s the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign — a must for every visitor.

Join an immersive show at a rum distillery.

At the Lost Spirits Distillery , guests walk through elaborate Victorian settings and sample rum while cast members perform all around them in an immersive theater experience. To extend your time here, book an elaborate 16-course tasting menu dinner, which is served in a room themed after “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea."

“Vegas is all about revamping the old and building the new,” Cahill says, specifically pointing to the new Sphere , a 17,500-seat structure for concerts and sporting events. With a wraparound LED display and spatial audio system, the venue provides an immersive experience that utilizes visual effects, movement sensations, intense lighting, and even scent and wind simulations.

Visit the Las Vegas Arts District.

When Cahill isn’t playing Blue Jackson in the Atomic Saloon, he enjoys spending time in the Las Vegas Arts District . Located about a mile from downtown and the Fremont Street Experience, this area features shops, restaurants, bars, coffee houses, galleries, theater, live performances, and First Friday events.

Ride FlyOver.

“My family and I love FlyOver ,” Mounier said. “It makes you feel like you’re flying over the most iconic places in the U.S., Canada, and Iceland; you’re sitting inside a spherical screen, surrounded by the most amazing views. As the film dips and turns throughout the locales, the seat moves with you, like you’re flying via helicopter. There are special effects, too — when you fly through a cloud, you feel a light mist on your face.”

Go on another adrenaline-pumping thrill ride.

Head to the Stratosphere for the Big Shot ride and the X-Scream rollercoaster, which dangles you above the Las Vegas Strip. Or, ride the Big Apple Coaster at New York New York — it speeds up to 67 miles per hour.

Shop 'til you drop in a classic Vegas shopping center.

Instead of losing money in the casino, why not exchange money for goods? Great places to do the latter include the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace, the Cosmopolitan Shops , designer shops at the Encore , MGM Grand , and more. At the Downtown Container Park, you can shop , snack , and catch a free concert in one spot.

Take a wellness break.

Found in the Mojave desert of Clark County in Nevada is a famous city called Las Vegas. Being in the desert, the city only receives about 4 inches of rain annually and has a relatively pleasant climate in every season. Most people think of this city as a place for gambling and casinos, and although that is definitely some of its main attractions, Las Vegas offers so much more. It has an incredible entertainment industry, some of the best food in the country, great sports teams and more than enough places to go shopping. In a busy city like this one, you can expect crowds of tourists all year round. Thankfully, it is home to over half of the world's top 20 biggest hotels and there are around 150,000 hotel and motel rooms in the entire city (plus 150 casinos!). You won't have to worry about finding sleeping accommodations at any point of the year, but when you are deciding what you want to do then the season that you choose to visit in can be important. Summer in Las Vegas - June to August

If you are planning to visit Las Vegas in the summer months, be ready for some extreme heat and sunshine. It can almost be too hot to handle sometimes, and you will never appreciate air conditioning more. July is the hottest month but in general, the whole season can be pretty warm. On average, temperatures remain between 70 degrees and 104 degrees Fahrenheit, although some days even get to be about 133 degrees (about 21 to 40 degrees Celsius, sometimes reaching 56 degrees!). You will definitely want to watch out for heat stroke on those warm days, always bring a water bottle and wear lots of sunscreen.

This season might be a good time to plan indoor activities, at least during the middle of the day, and reserve outdoor attractions for early mornings or in the evening. Remember that if you are feeling too hot you should head inside and out of the sun! Thankfully the city does not usually get to be too humid, which does make the weather more bearable. This is still a good time to travel to Las Vegas since most attractions are inside. Chances are that your hotel will have a swimming pool, especially if you are staying on the Las Vegas Strip. Hotel prices will still be a bit high because lots of people like to travel here in the summertime.

When it is time to pack you will definitely want to bring some shorts and tank tops. Bring a light sweater for the evenings which can be cooler and quite pleasant for outdoor strolls, but you won't need much more than that. You will absolutely need a bathing suit to escape from the heat into the water, so don't forget to pack one.

If you are looking for some specific events happening during this season then the World Series of Poker is one to keep in mind. The series lasts for about three months, so feel free to watch or even participate yourself. Independence Day is also big here and there will be lots of celebrations around the city. The Reggae in the Desert music festival or the Vegas Fringe Festival in June are great events to attend. The next month brings the fireworks on the 4th of July and the Las Vegas Tribute Festival. If you are a fan of fashion then the MAGIC Fashion Marketplace is a must, and the Psycho Las Vegas and Vegas Tejano Music Week are some of the biggest events in August.

Fall in Las Vegas - September to November

Fall in Las Vegas is a great time to vacation in the city since temperatures do get lower and are quite comfortable. Expect the Las Vegas weather to remain between the pleasant temperatures of 50 degrees to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (which is around 10 degrees to 26 degrees Celsius). If you want to spend more time discovering the desert from outside of the casinos and hotels then this is the time to do it.

Although it is still warm, the climate won't be as hot in the summer so you can be outside for longer and not have to take as many breaks. Take advantage of this time to walk along the Las Vegas Strip or hike in the Death Valley national park. This is the shoulder season, so in general, the crowds of tourists will begin to diminish as the season goes on and will pick up again as it gets closer to winter. You might be able to save a bit of money and have the city to yourself if you visit in the fall! However, holidays like Labor Day weekend will bring in huge crowds.

For this season you should pack a few pairs of pants and t-shirts, and maybe a pair of shorts if you are visiting Las Vegas in early fall. A sweater or light jacket can be useful for later on in the season when temperatures begin to lower.

Thousands of festival-goers like to travel to Las Vegas for the iHeart Radio Music Festival in September. The Life is Beautiful festival , which is also happening in September, features some incredible art, music, and culinary events. Sports fans will be excited about the NHL season for the Vegas Golden Knights , and foodies will definitely enjoy the Greek Food Festival or the Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival happening in the following month. October also brings the annual Vegas Pride festival. The Rock n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon in November is an event to mark in your calendar as well, alongside the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival and Professional Bull Riders Championships in November.

Winter in Las Vegas - December to February

Winters in Las Vegas can get very cold compared to the summer temperatures, so you might want to bundle up. It does not get quite cold enough for snow, but it is definitely chilly especially if you aren't used to cold temperatures. In the coldest month, you can expect temps of about 39 degrees Fahrenheit, and the high temperatures remain at about 57 degrees (around 4 degrees to 14 degrees Celsius).

If you don't mind the cold then you can actually do quite a lot outside during the winter months, but those who prefer mild temperatures might want to plan for attractions happening indoors. There is lots to see in the city both indoors and outside, so you can take some time to explore the incredible hotels on the Strip. Walk through the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, discover the ornate Caesars Palace , see the lions at MGM Grand or explore all of the other sights on Las Vegas Boulevard. Flight and hotel reservations might be higher than in other months since many people want to be in Vegas for the major holidays. Watch out for an even busier city during the Super Bowl Weekend!

If you are traveling here in the winter you will want to pack a couple of pairs of good pants, some long-sleeved shirts, and sweaters. If you know that you will be outside a lot then a jacket is definitely necessary, especially in the middle of the season when temperatures are coldest.

You will see all kinds of special events during this season and many of them draw crowds from around the world. The Nevada International Film Festival is always a big hit, and so is the National Finals Rodeo which is accompanied by the Cowboy Christmas shopping mart. December also brings activities such as the Cosmopolitan Ice Rink made out of the Cosmopolitan Hotel pools on the rooftop. Of course, Las Vegas goes all out for New Year's Eve which is what you can expect from Sin City. January brings the Hot Air Balloon Festival, the Consumer Electronics Show, and the Adult Entertainment Expo, and the main activities in February include the Black History Month Festival or the Dam Short Festival . The latter is a combination of an awards ceremony and gala that take place after screenings at the Boulder Theatre, and it is the biggest event of its kind in all of Southern Nevada.

Spring in Las Vegas - March to May

Most people say that vacationing in Las Vegas is best in the spring, and there are several reasons why. First of all, the average high temperature remains at around 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low temperature doesn't often go below 70 degrees (a total range of about 21 degrees to 26 degrees Celsius). With such agreeable daytime temperatures, there is no reason to not be spending lots of time outside!

You won't want to be inside much if you visit Vegas during this season, as the average temperature is really quite comfortable. Try exploring places like the Red Rock Canyon by foot or just relax in the outdoor patio of your favorite hotel. With such great weather in Las Vegas, it can be hard to imagine why people wouldn't want to visit now, but in reality, you will probably see more affordable room rates and fewer crowds except for during Spring Break or Memorial Day weekend when tourism is at its peak.

Although this season brings some of the best weather in Las Vegas, the temperatures can still get a bit chilly at night, especially in early spring. You won't need a jacket but a sweater will still come in handy, as well as some pants. If you are here at the end of the summer you might want to bring some shorts and lighter clothing for when it warms up during the daytime.

If you are looking for some Las Vegas special events happening while you are in town then you are in luck, since this season is filled with fun things to do. Beginning in the first week of March you will see pools opening up and parties happening around the city. Las Vegas is a city that’s almost overwhelmingly energetic, and when you’re on a tight schedule, you’re going to want to maximize your fun potential. Will you grab a ticket to one of dozens of electric residencies like Carrie Underwood ? Or are you going to try and score a reservation to a fine dining eatery like Aqua for some seafood from a Michelin-starred chef ? It can be difficult to know just where to start your adventure when there’s so much to do and it can feel like the strip was practically built on FOMO.

Whether you’re trying to pack in a quick weekend trip, or making the most out of an extended layover, we suggest starting off by picking a resort to anchor your 48-hour Vegas experience around. Time to start your day off right with the most important meal of the day — and trust us when we say you’re going to want a breakfast that will fuel you through every step of the Strip. Chef Ray Garcia’s ¡VIVA! hosts an excellent brunch every Saturday and Sunday that features elevated Mexican brunch favorites, in addition to boozy and bottomless beverages (we wouldn’t recommend this first thing since you’re going to have a packed day, but their Fresa Sandia is quite good if that’s the way your day is going). Get the Chorizo Con Huevos or the Chilaquiles with fresh, crispy heirloom corn tortilla chips and thank us later.

Mid-Morning

Take a stroll through the The District shopping esplanade where you’ll find 70,000 square feet of shopping in case that compact carry-on of yours couldn’t fit another clubbing shirt. The most eye-catching part of the area though is the 50-foot, LED-panel-covered Globe (affectionately called “The Orb” on our last trip) that’s definitely worth checking out. The Globe offers an immersive art experience, and you can catch a short show with synced lights and music every hour on the hour from noon to 1 a.m.

If you’re ready to fist-pump to a hot DJ set, but you also want to be in bed at a reasonable hour, slip into a swimsuit and head over to Ayu Dayclub . Resorts World’s Bali-inspired poolside party turns the weekend into a never-ending summer, with white daybeds and chic wooden cabanas you can rent if you’re not ready to pack into the pool with everyone else. Even if you’re just sipping a drink on dry land, it’s a certified vibe, and you might even get to see one of the repeat artists like Kaskade or T-Pain step up to the DJ booth.

That being said, if a “dayclub” isn’t your scene, we still suggest beating that Vegas heat and cooling off at one of the seven pools on property (including the only infinity pool on the Strip).

Early Evening

After a relaxing poolside afternoon soaking up some sun, go back to Famous Foods Street Eats and make your way to Ms. Meow’s Mamak Stall for a secret surprise. Amidst the small shop selling Asian snacks and adorned with lucky cats, ask the person behind the register at Ms. Meow’s to push the shelf-lined wall, and you can slip into the entrance of an intimate speakeasy, Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den. Open daily at 4 p.m., this relaxed and cozy spot seats 34 and serves up tropical cocktails into the wee hours. Sip on the “Hanami,” a sake drink with hints of sakura for a pre-dinner cocktail and take picks by the neon tiger on the exposed brick. But be sure to come here early after opening — this buzzy bar isn’t so much of a secret anymore, and fills up fast.

Now that you’ve had a drink (or two) and are ready for a night out, start with dinner at Wally’s , a beloved transplant from Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. The mouthwatering charcuterie boards are a can’t-miss, filled with peppery wagyu beef salami and L’Amuse Gouda, although the baguette stuffed with brie and a staggering amount of truffles (in the honey, butter, and shaved variety) is also a great choice. And with a selection of more 100 wines by the glass, pull up a chair, sip on a rare pour, and get ready for some of the best elevated comfort food on the Strip.

Late Evening

With so many bars, lounges, and concerts at Resorts World, you’ve already got a wide range of options for wherever you want the night to take you. Resorts World Theatre might be able to accommodate 5,000, but seeing a show there will feel more like you’re at an intimate club. It even boasts an immersive sound system designed by L-Acoustics. In other words, it sounds really freaking good, no matter where you’re sitting. See the biggest names in comedy like Kevin Hart, or get a front-row seat to Carrie Underwood — one of the year’s most-anticipated shows to see in Vegas. The Grammy winner’s Reflection residency kicked off November 2023, and just added more dates through 2024, so you don’t want to miss it.

Since it’s technically your last day in Vegas, you’re going to want to hit the ground running with some quick bites to keep that Vegas train rolling. Sun’s Out Buns Out single-handedly saved us during our last Vegas trip thanks to both a post-Zouk, late-night Furikake Fries, and a Bacon, Egg & Cheese the morning after. If you couldn’t already tell, there’s one key ingredient here: eggs. Sun’s Out Buns Out serves up egg dishes all day, every day, so grab a fast breakfast here to start your day sunny-side up.

In case you want to sleep in and skip breakfast to maximize your night owl potential, or are still hungry after breakfast, we love Fuhu’s high-energy dining room . It’s more than just a pregaming spot (although it’s a pretty great pregaming spot), it also has a stellar brunch with an Asian flair and hand-crafted signature drinks. Since it’s from Zouk Group, you can listen to DJs and special acts while you munch on scoops of king crab and truffle fried rice (there’s a lot of truffle in this town). The vibe is dark, stylish, and sexy, overall a highly Instagrammable spot.

Let’s slow things down for a little bit and take a break from the bustle of Vegas at the ultra-luxurious Awana Spa . Resorts World’s haven takes a more energetic approach to the spa experience, and socializing is encouraged here, where the Foot Spa Lounge is outfitted with TVs so you can catch any number of games while you ease your tired feet. Head over to the Fountain of Youth, which features six vitality pools, warming tepidarium chairs, steam rooms, cool mist showers and more — all while transportational videos play on a wraparound LED screen that shows you a calming film of the tops of snowy peaks or rushing waterfalls.

For a pre-dinner libation, take an elevator ride to the top of Resorts World to the Allē Lounge on 66 , a dimly lit, inviting spot with wood floors and plush velvet armchairs. The 66th-floor lounge is an elegant spot to sip craft cocktails like a Genting Old Fashioned (Highland Park 12 Year, Demerara Syrup, Angostura Aromatic Bitters, and Regan’s Orange Bitters). But the main attraction here is the breathtaking view of the Strip from its floor-to-ceiling windows, especially when it’s lit up at night. There’s even a telescope so you can grab a closer peek.

It’s been a long (almost) 48 hours, but you should go out with a bang with a night out at the scene-y Zouk Nightclub. When the sun goes down, the vibes come to life, with high-tech lighting displays (seeing the laser light fixture descend down from the ceiling was the highlight of our last trip) and room-shaking sound. Your favorite DJs have probably performed there, and on any given night you could catch a set from Odesza, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, and more. Afterwards, you can crash back at your Conrad suit and reflect on your successful 48 hours in Las Vegas.

"Sam Brown is a FEARLESS AMERICAN PATRIOT, a Purple Heart Recipient, who has proven he has the "PURE GRIT" and COURAGE to take on our Enemies, both Foreign and Domestic," Trump wrote.

"Sam Brown has my Complete and Total Endorsement - HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN," he wrote.

Brown responded to the endorsement in a news release Sunday night:

"I am honored to have President Trump’s endorsement of our grassroots Duty First movement for U.S. Senate. Together, we will work towards delivering a better future for every Nevadan!

"I look forward to helping President Trump pass the America First agenda in the U.S. Senate after we both win in November. Our message to every American is clear: relief from the Biden-Rosen American Nightmare will soon be here and the hope of the American Dream will be restored!"

Brown is facing 11 other Republicans in the primary. The winner will face presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. Jacky Rosen in November in an election that could decide control of the U.S. Senate.

Brown is considered the favorite, and has received an endorsement from the National Republican Senatorial Committee and Gov. Joe Lombardo.

But his opponent, former Trump ambassador to Iceland Jeff Gunter, shared internal polling last week showing him neck and neck with Brown, each with about 30% support from participants in the Kaplan Strategies poll. It also showed 21% of voters still undecided in the survey of about 800 Nevada Republican voters conducted May 30.

Early voting ended Friday, and nearly 68,000 Republicans have already cast ballots. The primary is Tuesday, June 11.

According to the Cook Political Report , only three Senate races are considered toss-ups: Nevada, Montana and Ohio.

In Montana, Trump endorsed Tim Sheehy, who won that state’s Republican primary. In Ohio, Trump backed Bernie Moreno, who won Ohio’s primary.

Trump appeals to service workers with pledge to make tips tax-free

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told a rally in Las Vegas on Sunday that he would seek to end taxation of income from tips, a direct appeal to service workers in the swing state of Nevada, which polls suggest is leaning his way ahead of the Nov. 5 election .

The pledge, revealed at a sweltering outdoor rally in Las Vegas, adds one more detail to a Trump tax plan that has included vague pledges of tax relief to middle-income workers and small businesses.

"So this is the first time I've said this, and for those hotel workers and people that get tips you're going to be very happy because when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips people (are) making," Trump told a crowd of several thousand people.

Trump said he would "do that right away, first thing in office," and noted in prepared remarks that he would seek legislation in Congress to make the change. "You do a great job of service, you take care of people and I think it's going to be something that really is deserved."

Trump has previously pledged to make permanent the Republican-passed individual tax cuts that he signed into law in 2017 but which expire at the end of 2025. Tax experts estimate that doing so would raise U.S. deficits by some $4 trillion over a decade compared to current forecasts.

As current law requires, tipped employees must report their tips as income. Eliminating this would add further to deficits without new revenues elsewhere.

Trump's Democratic opponent, President Joe Biden , has pledged to maintain Trump's tax cuts for households earning under $400,000 a year, but wants to substantially raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans and on large corporations.

The teleprompter went out, leaving Trump to freestyle it with familiar stump-speech talking points. One new bit was promoting a plan to make tips tax-free, an idea sure to resonate in the service-industry-dependent city.

Problems with the teleprompter provided Trump an opening to needle President Biden about some of his gaffes using a teleprompter and pretend to be a doddering old man wandering around the stage.Trump said he would not pay the teleprompter company, and that the media would take his comment out of context to criticize him for not paying people.“I don’t pay contractors who do s----- work," he said.

Trump campaign mixes up musical playlist with 'Imagine,' 'Illegal Alien'

The musical soundtrack at Trump's Las Vegas rally has some interesting new selections that differed from previous Nevada events.

The Trump rally staple by the Village People had the crowd making spelling out "YMCA" with their arms, and a live version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" was a natural.

But another song played on the big screens was "Illegal Alien" by '80s pop band Genesis. This may have seemed to some like an odd choice because of its sympathetic chorus, "It's no fun being an illegal alien," with images of Hispanic people in a barrio.

The song was followed was John Lennon's "Imagine," with its lyrics about imaging a world with no religion and no national borders.

U.S. Senate candidate Sam Brown, still seeking endorsement, attends Trump rally

Army veteran and U.S. Senate candidate Sam Brown was among the crowd as Sunday's rally.

"I'm just here to serve, whether it's to be a U.S. senator or hand out water," he said.

Unlike in the two other states where the Senate seat is considered a toss-up, the former president has not weighed in on Nevada’s race .

Twelve Republicans are competing to face Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen in November in an election that could decide control of the U.S. Senate.

At a January rally in Las Vegas, Trump name-checked three of the candidates — Brown, former ambassador to Iceland Jeff Gunter and former Nevada Assemblyman Jim Marchant.

GOP political consultant: Latinos in Nevada favor Trump

At 11:30, a half-hour before the former president is scheduled to go on stage, hundreds of people are still waiting to get into the rally at Sunset Park in Las Vegas.

One rally-goer, Jesus Marquez, a Las Vegas political consultant, pointed out that 20% of Nevadans are Latino and he thinks their increasing support for Trump will help the former president win Nevada for the first time.

"They see that life has gotten more expensive since Trump left office," he said. "They see the chaos at the border with hundreds of thousands of people crossing."

Even though many of the border crossers are Latino, he said, that doesn't sit well with the Latinos already here legally.

"They see the new people coming in and getting social service and moving to the front of the line and they don't like any of that," Marquez said. "Latinos are supporting Trump, and you see it in the polls."

A poll conducted April 28-May 9 by the New York Times, Siena College and the Philadelphia Inquirer showed Hispanic voters in Nevada favor Trump by 9 percentage points, and Trump holds a 6-point lead among “other” racial or ethnic minorities.

Asked about President Joe Biden's recent executive order to stem the flow of migrants at the border, he said, "Why did Biden all of a sudden start coming up with an executive order to fix a problem that he caused, which is open border polices? It's just too close to the election."

Marjorie Taylor Greene takes the stage at Trump rally

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene made a brief appearance at the Trump rally Sunday, downplaying the former president's legal woes.

"The person I worship was a convicted felon and he was crucified on a Roman cross," Greene said.

Her appearance was interrupted frequently with chants of "Bull----" as she described President Joe Biden's policies.

Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael McDonald followed Greene, saying, "We are here today to worship this man."

McDonald is one of six Nevada "fake electors" charged with submitting certificates to Congress falsely claiming Trump won the 2020 election against Joe Biden. He has pleaded not guilty.

His comments were interrupted by chants of "USA."

Before Greene spoke, a handful of naturalized citizens from Central American countries including Guatemala and Honduras spoke of their support for Trump.

Asian-Americans benefit under Trump administration, supporter at rally says

Julie Hereford said she first started supporting Trump in 2016, and she’s advocating for him again while also seeking signatures to get a voter ID initiative on Nevada’s November ballot.

“Prosperity is the biggest thing for Asians,” she said. “Everything Trump does – education, energy – is good not just for Asian-Americans but all of us.”

Hereford bases her optimism about Trump on the record he established in office.

“We’re very luck to have had him for four years,” she said. “Right now, the country is not going to survive with the Biden administration’s policies.”

First medical event at Trump's Las Vegas rally

About 8:45 a.m. Saturday at former President Donald Trump’s Sunset Park outdoor rally in Las Vegas, a secret service agent ran toward the security line shouting “Medic.”

It was the first call for medical help on a day that could see many of them. According to the National Weather Service, it was 86 degrees but temperatures are expected to top 100 degrees with no shade for attendees.

A person was wheeled to a closed, air-conditioned tent just off the open field where the rally is being staged.

At Friday's event in Phoenix, 11 people were taken to area hospitals from heat-related incidents, authorities said. That event was held indoors but people waited in line outside for hours.

Gates opened at 9 a.m. at Sunday’s event.

Trump’s campaign prepared for the heat with the following steps:

• Water bottles will be available to attendees both inside the event and in line.
• Plastic water bottles and small umbrellas will be permitted to enter the event through security.
• Limited tent space with shade and air conditioning will be available on a first come first served basis.
• Misting and cooling stations will be available both inside the event and in line.
• Ample medical staff will be present at the event in case of emergencies.

Nevada among swing states getting major ad push by Trump backers

A major spending group backing Republican Donald Trump brought in nearly $70 million in donations last month and plans to spend $100 million in advertising over the summer across U.S. election battleground states, according to a memo sent to donors and seen by Reuters.

The June 4 memo, written by MAGA Inc. CEO Taylor Budowich, detailed the super PAC's plans in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada and Arizona - all states Trump lost in 2020 to U.S. President Joe Biden , a Democrat, but where some polls show Trump leading before the Nov. 5 election .

A Fox News survey conducted after the guilty verdict in the hush-money trial showed Trump ahead of Biden in Nevada by five percentage points, an advantage roughly in line with an average of polls over time compiled by poll tracking website FiveThirtyEight.
