The police is requesting the public's assistance locating a girl who went missing after attending the Vans Warped Tour concert in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on July 4. She was last seen at approximately 8 p.m. at the lakefront concert at The Flats at Molson Amphitheatres on the Ontario Place grounds, according to Billboard.com .

Hannah Batty , 15, is described as white, 5'5", 115 lbs., with brown eyes and long, dyed blue hair. She was wearing a GHOST TOWN shirt — one of the acts on the bill — blue denim cut-off shorts and black Vans sneakers. She has stretchers in her earlobes.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Detective Constable Paraskevopulos of the Toronto Police Service tells Billboard.com that the police are getting many tips about girls with blue hair. "People don't realize how popular blue hair is," she says.

A teenage girl who went missing during a Warped Tour concert has been located. 

On July 4 at about 8 p.m. ET at Ontario Place, she was attending the Vans Warped Tour. 

The Toronto Police thanked the public for their assistance locating the previously missing girl.

There were multiple bands onstage in and around 8 p.m.:  Bayside was on The Journey’s Stage; For Today just wrapped up on Kia Soul stage; Plague Vendor was on the Electric Soul stage; Bad Rabbits had just ended on the Warheads stage; I The Breather just went on the Ernie Ball stage; and One Ok Rock just ended on the Beatport stage; The Color Morale had just ended on the Monster Stage; Get Scared just ended on Hard Rock Kevin Says stage.

If any fans had taken photos of the bands from the audience, they may have captured Batty and the people she was with.

Police are concerned for her safety. D.C. Paraskevopulos says Lake Ontario near the venue has been checked. “All that stuff has been taken care of,” she says, adding, “It is a public park area so the cameras are being checked into by 14 Division.”

She says they are getting many tips about girls with blue hair.  “People don’t realize how popular blue hair is.”

Original Story: Everyone who attended or worked at the July 4  Warped Tour stop in Toronto is being asked to help locate 15-year-old Hannah Batty, who went missing at The Flats at Molson Amphitheatre on the Ontario Place grounds around 8 P.M.

Detective Constable Paraskevopulos of the Toronto Police Service told  Billboard Batty was not with her friends at the time of disappearance. They are describing Batty as 5'5", 115 lbs., white, with brown eyes and dyed dark blue hair. She has gauges and was last seen wearing a black Ghost Town tank top.

Ontario police are asking concertgoers to check their crowd photos to see if they spot Hannah Batty, a 15-year-old girl who went missing last week after the Vans Warped Tour show in Toronto.

Batty was last seen around 8 p.m. on July 4 at the festival at The Flats at Molson Amphitheatre on the Ontario Place grounds, according to authorities.

Toronto police described Batty as white, 5-feet-5, 115 pounds, with brown eyes and long, dyed blue hair and stretchers in her ears. She was wearing a black tank top, blue denim cut-off shorts and black Vans sneakers when she was last seen.

Detective Constable Paraskevopulos told Billboard Batty was not with her friends when she went missing and police have already checked Lake Ontario, which is near the venue. Authorities say they are worried about her safety.

“All that stuff has been taken care of,” she told Billboard. “It is a public park area so the cameras are being checked into by 14 Division.”

Paraskevopulos also said police have received tons of tips about girls with blue hair. “People don’t realize how popular blue hair is,” she said.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact police at 416-808-2200 or Crime Stoppers. There’s also an option to Leave A Tip on Facebook .

Reddit users have already begun helping with the search, with one user posting what is reportedly the last image Batty took . Other Twitter users are using the hash tag #FindHannah , but some say the teen has gone missing on purpose before this incident.

“This #findhannah s**t is stupid. We all know her as the type of bitch to crave attention. She wanted to get noticed by her fave artists,” Twitter user moon pie wrote . “I can't stand when people fake their own disappearance.”

Hannah Batty Missing: Teen Disappeared During Vans Warped Tour In Toronto

UPDATE: Toronto Police say Hannah Batty has been located.

A 15-year-old girl is missing after attending a Toronto concert on July 4.

According to police, Hannah Batty was last seen at around 8 pm ET at the Vans Warped Tour -- an event that saw dozens of bands converge on Toronto's lakefront venue Ontario Place.

She has not returned home and her whereabouts are unknown.

Batty is described as white, five feet and five inches tall, 115 lbs., with brown eyes and long, dyed blue hair. She was wearing a black tank top, blue denim cut-off shorts and black Vans sneakers. She has stretchers in her earlobes.

Investigators are asking anyone who attended the event, including vendors, concert crews and bands, to come forward if they recall seeing someone who meets the description. Cell phones, police add, should also be checked in case Batty was inadvertently captured in photos or videos of the show.

At the time, she was not with her friends, police told Billboard magazine.

Missing Toronto teen Hannah Batty has been found, according to police.

Batty, 15, had last been seen at the during the Toronto stop of the Vans Warped Tour at Ontario Place on July 4.

She wasn't reported missing until Monday, Toronto Police said.

Her disappearance from the concert also prompted organizers to appeal to fans and other concert attendees for any help in locating her.

There was little detail immediately available on where she was located.

Live Review: Sad Summer Festival – The Sound, Clearwater, Florida – July 7, 2023

For those missing the Vans Warped Tour days (the last year was 2018), we are so lucky to have the Sad Summer Fest. Starting in 2019, the fest has become the anticipated festival. Promoted by Journeys and Converse, it has the same vibe—and a lot of the same players—who graced the Vans Warped stages during the years.

On Friday, July 7 th the Sad Summer Fest hit Clearwater, Florida at the recently opened venue the Sound. Having attended many Warped Tours, it certainly had the same feel, but was pared down with only one stage. The usual hot and steamy weather felt familiar—as did the 20-something crowd.  Many of the concert attendees dressed for the weather, wearing underwear as outerwear, midriffs, and shorts making it almost a “beachy” feel.

In fact, watching the attendees was almost as enjoyable as the concerts.  I have found a good way to gauge the crowd is by observing their attire and t-shirt messages. Of course, there was the obligatory black attire, fishnet stockings, piercings, and ear gauges. Many wore t-shirts bearing the names and logos of bands that were staples at the Warped Tours, like the Interrupters and Anti-flag. There were lots with emo-related slogans (“Emos 4 Jesus”) and suggestive ones (“Show me your kitties”). And, possibly the best slogan (“Fuck love, make money”) describes the feel of today’s post-Covid youth.

The festival began at 2 p.m. but I was lucky to catch the pop-punk band Mom Jeans after 3 p.m. They played at the Download Festival in the UK, which is quite an honor, and even toured Australia last Spring. Hailing from California, the lead singer Eric Butler remarked that he has family in the area. The band played an enjoyable set and you can’t go wrong with songs like “White Trash Millionaire.”

Kicking back, it was feeling like a Warped Tour redux—but so much more comfortable. The Sound was covered, we had chairs to sit on, and there was a slight breeze where I was sitting. A perfect Friday afternoon.

Things heated up with Michigan-based band Hot Mulligan, as lead singer Nathan “Tades” Sanville belted out lyrics while hiding behind his long hair. Oh, so emo! The fans head-banged and raised arms to songs like “Shhhh Golf Is On” and “How Do You Know It’s Not Armadillo Shells?” All we needed were some beach balls to toss in the air.  At the end of the set, Sanville deadpanned, “I heard DeSantis is gay!” A roar of laughter soon followed.

Possibly my favorite band of the festival was the supergroup L.S. Dunes. The band consists of Anthony Green (Circa Survive, The Sounds of Animals Fighting, Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), Travis Stever (Coheed & Cambria), Tim Payne, and Tucker Rule (Thursday). Green was sweating and impressively belting out tunes like “Bombsquad” and “Benadryl Subreddit” before he quipped, “I swear I saw a gay dude. I think I lost him in the crowd.” Florida has become the laughing stock of the nation due to the strict laws regarding LGBTQ+ rights and the banning of books.

Green said, “I don’t know if I can continue. I need orange juice or a cookie or something.” Apparently, his blood sugar was low. I had noticed during a song he stopped to check his pulse on his neck. Nevertheless, he showed much professionalism and continued the set—which totally rocked. He ended the set saying, “Thanks for being a part of our journey.”

Next up, was a highly anticipated band PVRIS, which features talented singer/songwriter Lynn Gunn. In fact, I asked the girl sitting next to me which band she really wanted to see and she replied, “I can’t wait to see PVRIS!” Singing with the mic and later picking up the guitar and singing, Gunn blew away the crowd with her brand of danceable synth-pop music.

By 6:30  p.m. the venue was filled to capacity—especially with “mature” fans of 90s emo showing up after work. At 7:30 p.m. one of my favs’ the Maine (sorry, I couldn’t stay for Taking Back Sunday) hit the stage as the sun was setting.  The colored spotlights were turned on and the stage was thick with smoke. A special treat was seeing Adam Lazzara of Taking Back Sunday sing “Loved You a Little” with the Maine.  The dude was wearing a fly rust-colored suit and was probably dying from the heat (but he certainly looked good).

Overall, the Sad Summer Festival was really enjoyable at the Sound venue. Like Warped Tour, the sets were punctual, the crowd was friendly and very responsive to the music. I truly hope they come back to this area next summer.  If they come to your area, make a point to go and re-live the Warped Tour days.
