Really enjoyed being in a small group instead of a traditional large group and our guide was great. This was a fast, hit-the-high points type of tour which is what we wanted; but, didn't really get to spend too much time at any one place. Didn't care for the hotel we were based out of - the rooms didn't have opaque walls between the bedroom and bathroom, just glass that was partly translucent; and, the hotel was a long ways away from everything.

An enjoyable, efficient, and well organized tour. The jam-packed itinerary ensures you get the most out of your time during your stay. Our tour guide Nabil was simply amazing. So friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. He made ancient Egypt come alive for us through his wonderful storytelling. I'd definitely recommend this tour.

The tour was amazing and well-organized. I thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing and meeting new people. The guide also arranged a cake for my birthday, which was a very nice and thoughtful experience. The only issue was the hidden costs like entrance fees, overpriced extra activities and forced tipping which I became aware of only after booking. However, overall I enjoyed myself and made new friends.

". They apologised and offered us a $225 credit. To be honest the Egypt trip was great historically and the 2 guides we had were great. The Nile boat was old and the cabins and sundeck needed refurbishing. El Karma was a disaster. It equated to a UK 1960’s Butlins. Food was just slop. Pools were green. Not a good experience at all. We were glad to leave. Drinks were all Egyptian alcohol, which was not good. It all tasted the same. 5-star in Egypt is equivalent to 1-2 star anywhere else in the world. Overall we are glad to have done it, definitely an Intrepid Journey, but would we go back, definitely not.
