I'm a larger, athletic guy (6'2", 260lbs powerlifter) and I found the seats incredibly uncomfortable with minimal leg room, especially in a window seat. Now, I full understand that being smaller may change my view but even if I was 80lbs less, my legs would be the same size and I was sandwiched between my seat and the seat in front of me.

Seat back monitors and outlets were dead and not working.

The crew, food, and entertainment were all good. But my screen had some sort of bug where if I turned it off, it would turn back on after 2-5 minutes. At full brightness. It made it very hard to get any shut-eye on the overnight flight. Also, the older Boeing plane, while nicely cared for (and no doors fell off 😅👏) doesn't have the nice air quality of newer planes. So I felt a bit greasy by the time we landed in Sweden.

Service was good for such a short flight. Small plane but smooth flight.

My only issue was my meal was inedible except for the sides.

Again, entertainment system didn't work. 50% of aircraft don't seem to have a functional entertainment system and the crew is absolutely uninterested in fixing. They just say Addis needs to fix it. Well, Addis had better get off it's butt and fix their aircraft.

Bathrooms were absolutely atrocious. Absolutely third world. Unusable. From non-flushing toilets to poor maintenance - missing toilet paper, dirty with mess, etc. Horrifying. Does Ethiopian Airways expect customers to clean the bathroom before use. For sure inconsiderate passengers don't do anything to clear/clean after use.

Boarding was mayhem. Entertainment system wasn't operational. Food was poor. It was like flying in the 1990's. For the price of the ticket, this was not value for money. It felt much more like an extreme discount airline.

The crew were extremely unfriendly. The plane was dirty and the entertainment system did not work, so they did not even give out earphones to anyone.

Seat in front of my wife was broken so it reclined further than normal and without having to push the recline button so my wife had absolutely no room the entire 17 hour flight. My seat was broken and wouldn't recline at all. Also.. my tray table was sticky and dirty right away before I even used it. Also...the floor in the back of the plane from our row of seats on back was totally soaked and both times we landed water came rushing out of the food/servant area like a flood onto the same already wet carpet. It got everything wet that was placed around our feet...including our shoes and socks.

Luggage delayed for one day. I called customer service, and they had no info and no empathy. Boarding was very disorganized and chaotic. We went nearly 7 hours with no food or snacks on the flight. This is not an airline that has respect for its passengers.

The entertainment (movies) blockbuster and classics never change. I am a frequent Ethiopian flyer and this should be addressed. Not much changed from my summer flight and my December flight. The check in staff was amazing. Best customer service! The plane was old! My entertainment on the first flight didn't work at all, in my seat or in the seat next to me. The bathroom doors were old and troublesome. One of the bathrooms, the whole sink panel was broken. Everything felt old and falling apart. The airline stewardesses were amazing and quite hospitable. When there were delays, they kept us well informed. Transit was GREAT! I wasn't sure how I would make it to my next flight in 1 1/2 hours but the security lines were short and efficient. The C gates in Addis Ababa were CROWDED! That whole space downstairs was too crowded and challenging to manuever. I usually fly Ethiopian within Africa and was interested to see how the experience would be intercontinental. Overall, I would choose it again if it was cheaper than Delta/Air France or Lufthansa/KLM. I wouldn't make it a first choice if the prices were the same because the planes are so old! The food and entertainment also weren't as good. Good selection of movies but as I mentioned, on the first flight they didn't work at all (I slept so it was okay) and the 2nd flight it was glitchy. All in all, I didn't hate it but it would be a first choice only if it's cheaper.

The flight was delayed for several hours. After many hours of waiting, they said it was delayed until the next day. This is completely understandable, as the staff had to wait on Boeing to approve the plane. However, the staff said hotel and meal vouchers would be issued via email (they never were). An hour after leaving the airport, our flight was cancelled.

This was the worst experience ever. It was such chaos at boarding due to boarding zone and letting everyone with children and strollers go first. Once the plane door closed they didn’t let us know why we were not moving until after 30 mins of sitting on the plane. Then ANOTHER 2 hours passed with no other communication or update as to why we were still sitting on the plane. 2 and half hours of sitting on a plane! When I ask a flight attendant what was the delay he gave ALOT of attitude and said he don’t know what’s going on. This flight attendant was soooo rude to customers to the point one lady was telling him how rude he was. I also felt other flight attendants spoke to the people who spoke their language; I am an American so this was also upsetting. The food was horrible, I only ate the bread. We finally landed and we almost missed our connecting flight. We was able to run and make out next flight within 30 mins. Our flight from Casablanca to Marrakech was quick. BUT here is where I was really UPSET. They left everyone luggage who was on the flight in Casablanca. We went to baggage claim and they had Attitudes! How are you mad with us for losing our bags, I don’t get it. We had to wait for the next flight to come in with our bags. The baggage claim guy said they wouldn’t deliver our bags to our hotel because of past experiences; now we have to pay for another cab to come back! They had so much luggage outside of baggage claim I can see this was happening to a lot of people. They said they would email us once our bags arrived. He told us the next flights coming in (which I researched myself and he gave the wrong times!). We took a cab to our hotel to wait. I seen my bag was at RAK airport (because of my AirTag) 4 hours later but no email from baggage claim. I waited two more hours and still no email letting us know it arrive! We missed dinner plans! We went to airport and got our bags (security at RAK was rude to us and had us walking all around in order to get to baggage claim). I will NEVER fly with Royal Air Maroc ever in life, even if it means I can’t fly to other countries that I would love to visit since this ruined my friends birthday already. I PRAY our flight back home is wayyy better. This is no way to treat people. I fly frequently so I know how airlines should treat people and Royal does not!

On line check was unavailable even tho I was receiving emails to check in and select my seat. At the gate was told all seats were taken ahead of time and was pre assigned a bad seat. When could you check in the choose a seat ???? The ran out of all food choices in business class !!! I had nothing to eat. They told me to pre order a special meal. I don’t want a special meal I was a regular meal. Seats very uncomfortable for business class prices.

Babies, crying, movies and sound doesn’t working overpacked and delayed flight

While I had a business class ticket I wasn’t given priority to boar. Again my luggage had priority tags and these bags didn’t come out till the end!! The food at the lounge was only two type of sandwiches and warm juices and soft drinks I thought I’m paying for good services but the least u can say it’s mediocre at best. I’m considering not to use TAM AGAIN.

The seats were very uncomfortable. I along with maybe 4 other passengers were never given our breakfast meal. The attendant completely forgot about us. For such a long flight the seats should be made with more comfort in mind. Just because it is economy doesn’t mean we don’t deserve comfort.

Delta’s new nonstop Orlando-to-London Heathrow flight takes off this winter

Floridians can now enjoy greater connectivity to Europe with new seasonal service from Orlando to London Heathrow starting Oct. 26. With the addition of this route, Orlando will become Delta’s only direct service from the Sunshine State to the U.K and Delta’s 8th destination served nonstop from London for the winter season. Delta’s new route will also complement Virgin Atlantic’s existing Orlando to London Heathrow daily service. 

Additionally, the new route from Orlando (MCO) to London Heathrow (LHR) bolsters Delta’s expanding network between Florida and Europe, with current winter service from Orlando to Amsterdam and the newly announced service from Tampa to Amsterdam.

“In partnership with Virgin Atlantic, our new route between Orlando and London seamlessly connects two diverse destinations, offering customers a wealth of experiences on both sides of the Atlantic,” said Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. “Floridians can explore London’s historic landmarks like Buckingham Palace and enjoy world-class dining, while Londoners can escape to the sunny beaches and world-famous attractions of Orlando.” 

This seasonal route will operate four times weekly until Mar. 29 using an A330-900neo featuring Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin experiences. Customers can expect Delta’s best-in-class service and a uniquely premium onboard experience as they travel across the Atlantic. Delta One customers can stretch out in a lie-flat seat and enjoy premium amenities like plush bedding made from recycled plastic bottles, more beverage options and a seasonal chef-curated four-course meal. Customers flying in Delta Premium Select will have more space to relax and stretch out, with a wider seat, deeper recline, an adjustable footrest and leg rest. 

All customers can enjoy a wide selection of in-flight entertainment options via Delta Studio movies, TV series, music, podcasts and more – as well as onboard Wi-Fi and free mobile messaging to stay connected. As Delta continues carrying out its industry-leading commitment to bringing free, streaming-quality connectivity to its entire global fleet, Wi-Fi service may vary on flights as the airline transitions each aircraft to the necessary equipment.
