Top 5 airlines serving from Bengaluru to New Zealand

They ran out of food for breakfast They did not offer tea or coffee The staff appeared very inexperienced The cabin was very cold, even with a blanket

If I made the connection in Singapore I was stuck there for 24 hours you owe me 355.00 for accommodations

Leg room and flight sound insulation is very bad. They broke 3 of my bags with bad handling

Good flight. The food was served a bit late, hence a hurry to finish before landing. Excellent crew and service

All in all the flight was good. Love the fact that for airline food it was piping hot

Seating cramped; close to toilet, foul smelling and noisy, very unhygienic and disease risk Free and paid Wi-Fi NOT accessible at all - misleading advertising Very expensive sunglasses disappeared from back seat pouch. Coffee disgusting and cold

Every thing was fine. Some ild classical Hindi movies should be add

The premium economy seats were not that great. It could have been more premium than economy seats.

They are great with every aspect of customer service. Helped my elderly father and aided him with using the restroom.

Even though it was a very full flight, the service was still excellent, the plane did not feel too cramped and cabin crew made a sincere effort to help passengers find overhead space for stowing luggage.

Short flight so no entertainment, turbulence so no food service - overall flight as expected

Great meal. Best seats ever! They need to teach other airlines how to do that.

Overall excellent but the Captain kept the seat belt sign on for far too long, especially at the beginning and end of the flight. It was 2 hours after take-off before the crew were able to start the service (on an 11 hour night flight, reducing our sleeping time) and the seat belt sign on went on during breakfast (90 mins before landing) and was not turned off again until we landed. This made for an uncomfortable journey of trying to limit fluid intake because it was unclear when the toilets would be available for use.

Food was not good. We asked for Muslim food and it was weird tasteless type of boiled veges.

Crew were pleasant, happy to be there and were a joy to be around. Entire operation was professional, well thought out and ran like a Swiss clock.

United flight from SFO to PDX was cancelled. I will ask for a refund. Had to book on Alaska

They announced food service but then never came around. We also couldn’t land so kept trying to get to runway and then had to come up and go around happened like 3 times and cause the child next to me to start throwing up

There was a snafu with confirming seats at check which left us in limbo for the second leg of our trip. I believe the ANZ app is not well integrated with the systems at the terminal resulting in this disconcerting error.

The pilot tried to make up for lost time due to delays that were out of her control. She communicated the issues openly and clearly and made every effort to do what she could to alleviate issues.

Flight attendants are always pleasant and helpful. Pilot kept us updated.

I booked Flexi ticket, Paid extra for extra legroom seat. What I got was worst ever place to sit. It was an emergency exit seat with lots of legroom but half of the seat was occupied with aircraft body. Means you don’t keep that seat where a passenger can’t sit. The seats are too narrow. Whole night I was awake. Not movable armrests. One of the worst.

Bad experience. Departure time delayed from 1610 to 1740. After the flight was pushed back, pilot said there was a technical issue on the aircraft and we couldn’t take off. Delayed another hour to solve it.

The flight was cancelled. I wasn't informed where to check in, how and when. It wasn't easy to get in contact with Cathay service representative, and they were not very helpful... The staff on the airport - Air Canada (I assume) were the most helpful, kind efficient, patient... Thank you for all your help and care, for your patience, for your professionalism!!!

The first economy rows have remote space in the seat which eats in the seating space. The seats are also smaller compared to other airlines.

Very comfortable Prem economy seats for a long haul flight. Had a problem with the tv that the crew fixed so was great!

The flight crew was exceptionally good. Personal needs were well met. The food choices were very nice.

Not good. Flight was purchased for my father who needed medical assistance to board and transfer due to a heart condition. No one at Hong Kong from Cathay was there to assist and he barely made the connection. When I talked to him he could barely breath and was not sure he was going to make it. Really poor service even though the ticket stated he needed a wheelchair assistance.

Crew experience was more transnational, seats were so close together (LtoR and FtoB) that it was difficult to enjoy much of anything. When the person in front leaned back, there is no space for me. Sadly it was a flight to be endured not experienced.

we were upgraded which was a blessing and tender mercy for us. I fell the day before and was in extreme pain from knee to shoulder. Sitting in a more comfortable seat during the flight was an unexpected blessing and experience.

Very poor check-in experience, and flight meal service was very disappointing with no drinks service or hot meal.

Internet on internation flights is a basic comodity. Very disappointed. Same entertainment that has been on for the past year. Update your content for frequent flyers

No internet on international flights in this dsy and age is bad.

Good. BUT the Kayak app kept sending me wrong messages saying that there was a Gate change. That same thing is happening today.

Excellent plane, smooth boarding Friendly crew Clean flight till end Food can be little better

The flight attendants went above and beyond to make a flight as comfortable as possible.

The international flight from Sydney to Dallas had great food. I have travelled a lot over the years and this has been the most memorable in my experience so far.

flight delayed, wait in crowded gate. staff inattentive. had to remind them to get my coat from their closet. not many new movies, media choices were limited (nothing compared to Emirates.) Lounge was crowded

flight delayed, wait in crowded gate. staff inattentive. had to remind them to get my coat from their closet. not many new movies, media choices were limited (nothing compared to Emirates.)

There was nothing I didn’t like, prices a little lower would help

BA Airbus A380 BC upstairs had 2 3 2 layout. The seat was comfy but access for those in middle or window seats had to climb over others fest to get to ailse when seats in bed mode. The layout was not nearly as private as other layouts. The staff was amazing as well as the food. Most airline food is average but this was restaurant quality.

The IFE is quite unconvenient if using our own device. Not all passenger brought their own earphone/headphone.

Ok, but legspace on MH0127 from Kul to Per was too small. It was not possible to tilt my seat which I don't understand because the seat in front of my could do it. So I didn't rest on the flight. Also, the crew was probably understaffed because it took very long time to take trash after the meal. Everything very different from the flight with Malaysian Airlines from London to KL.

Service / food has to be much better. Staff were not very attentive to requests. Requested for a second serve of coke and got a weird look back from the host! Was also told they don’t have extra water bottles when I requested for one before sleep! Dinner time food was very minimum and average.

An overnight Doha to KL. Great sleep, good service and tasty food in business class

chaos boarding. Crew in business class seemed short staffed and lacking in attention to details initially, but did improve during flight.

The cabin was quite noisy as there were lots of children travelling for the school holidays. Found the selection of movies limited.

Delayed, not enough information. Had to ask for refreshments, crew could have been more proactive

The best so far coz this time it was all male steward on the economy cluster. They were polite, efficient & genuinely courteous. They do not judge you when you ask for more food & peanuts.

Delayed for 45 minutes. Don't know what's the issue. Other than that, food was not to my satisfaction. However it's okay.

My first course flight (Aor-Kul) was cancelled in the morning, and they asked me to board the night flight hence I need to transit overnight for the 2nd flight (Kul-Myy) that supposed to be on the same day. The overnight stay was not provided, (I'm traveling with my spouse, a daughter (5 y.o.) and an infant (2 months old). Hence I booked Sama Sama Hotel at my own expense (fortunately using my enrich miles points). Other than this issue, all services is good.

New zealand tour packages faqs.

Q. How to get a visitor’s visa for New Zealand? A. Firstly you need to download the ‘visitor visa’ form from the New Zealand Immigration Service website and duly fill it up. Further on, you need a passport with a minimum of three month validity from your date of departure, two passport-size coloured photographs, copy of your return flights ticket, proof of funds, about NZD 1000 a month and if your accommodation has already been paid for, then NZD 400 per month. The application form along with the supporting documents need to be submitted at your closest Visa Application Centre. After the visa is processed, you can collect the documents in person or have them couriered to you. Q. What is the New Zealand money and currency exchange like? A. 1 New Zealand Dollar (NZD) is equivalent of about INR 45.60. While there is no limit on the amount of foreign currency that can be brought into New Zealand, you need to be apprised of the fact that for each person who carries over NZD 10,000 worth of cash needs to file a Border Cash Report. You can easily exchange foreign currency at banks, big hotels and Bureau de Change kiosks that can be found at most city centres and international airports. Travellers’ Cheques are also accepted by banks and hotels. You can even getaway by using any major credit card across New Zealand. If you need to use a bank, you can from Monday to Friday between 09:30 am and 04:30 pm. Not to mention, there are ATMs at the banks, in a mall and on every shopping district. Make sure your international card has a four-digit encoded pin for it to work in New Zealand. Q. How to plan a self-drive holiday in New Zealand? A. It is great to have your own rental car and explore the hidden gems along the way as you discover new routes, meet fellow travellers and make pits-stops at your convenience. New Zealand roads for the most part are in great nick. But before that you need to decide what you would like to see and do in New Zealand. Draw up a list of your interests whether they are scenic attractions, adventure activities, wildlife, tramping, kayaking, Maori culture and history, fishing, wine tours, glaciers, architecture, family fun among others. This would let you zero in on the places with greater clarity, and subsequently, etch out the driving route. You can use the Google Maps by entering your start and end points and let it work out your driving route. Q. Is New Zealand child-friendly? A. You can most definitely plan a visit to New Zealand with young children. The country has large parks and tracts of unspoilt wilderness where you can take your child to acquaint them with the local flora and give them a feel of the outdoors. Kids can partake in activities such as fruit packing, horse riding, whale watching, aside from snow activities, visiting zoos and wildlife sanctuaries. There are themed attractions like Splash Planet in Hastings, the International Antarctic Centre in Christchurch, Rainbow’s End in Auckland, Marine Land in Napier. Do take your child to New Zealand’s interactive national museum, Te Papa and expose them to a whole lot of storytelling, history and art. It is easy to come across family restaurants and cafes in New Zealand with exclusive children’s menu, high stools and toy basket for toddlers. Q. When is the best time to visit New Zealand? A. You can travel to New Zealand at any time of the year owing to its mild climate. Avoid the summer between December and February when the day temperatures are higher and might not be conducive for long drives or treks. Pick the colder months of June through August when the days are cool and sunny and perfect to explore the West Coast and Fiordland. Nelson, Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough get a great deal of sunshine seguing to cooler temperatures by nightfall. Q. What to pack for a New Zealand trip? A. Get relaxed clothing. At restaurants smart casuals are a norm. In summer, you can get away with a sweater or a light jacket because the weather can turn cooler at night or if you are in the high country. Since you can expect a bit of rain, make sure to bring along a waterproof jacket and sturdy waterproof shoes. A visit between May and September warrants warm clothing such as sweatshirts, mufflers and caps. Q. What is the water temperature in New Zealand? A. The temperature of the sea gets warmer as you go northwards. In summer, around the South Island, the sea temperature oscillates between 14 and 18 degree Celsius. Not to mention, the North Island waters are warmer with temperature varying between 20 and 22 degree Celsius. If you are visiting in winter, the water temperature in the South Island plummets to 8 degree Celsius, while the North Island remains comparatively warmer at 15 degree Celsius. Q. Is it safe to drink water locally in New Zealand? A. The water supply in all of New Zealand’s towns and cities are top notch. The tap water everywhere is clean and safe to drink. Though if you are stopping by at a river or a stream to fill up your bottle, do not drink it directly without boiling it. Q. Where are New Zealand’s international airports located? A. New Zealand’s international airports are located in its capital, Wellington aside from Christchurch and Auckland. Few direct flights from Australia land in Queenstown, Hamilton, Dunedin and Palmerston North. Q. What is the best time to plan a hiking trip to New Zealand? A. Some of the all-year-round tramping (local term for hiking) tracks are Heaphy, Abel Tasman and Queen Charlotte Sounds. But the tracks in the higher reaches such as Routeburn, Milford Sound and Kepler are shut in the winter owing to heavy snowfall. But if you wish to explore these popular tracks such as the Milford Sound and Routeburn, come anytime between October and April.

Summer Season

The summer season in Bangalore lasts from March to May, and whilst the weather stays pleasant enough towards the evening, the days can be a little too sunny for comfort.
