• Day 1: Individual arrival to Berlin After arriving to the capital of Germany, your music tour begins with the special guided walking tour "In the footsteps of the Berlin Music". In the evening, you can enjoy yourself in a comfortable restaurant. Overnight stay in Berlin
• Day 2: Get to know the musical side of Berlin On the second day, you will visit after breakfast the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Thinin the guided tour you will get a lot of informations about the impressive building as a part of the new urban centre after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Of course you will get informations about the Berliner Philhamoniker as well. After your visit you will have a coffee break in the Sony Center, which is close by the Berliner Philharmonie. Later this day you will visit the Berliner Music Instruments Museum, where your guests can see a comprehensive collection from the 16th to the 20th century. Overnight stay in Berlin
• Day 3: Cathedral of Berlin Near by the Berlin Television Tower you can see the largest church of Germany: the Cathedral of Berlin, where you can take an organ tour and hear the majestic tones of the cathedral’s historic Sauer organ. An exciting journey through the Berlin universe of Depeche Mode from the early 80’s until now.

When Depeche Mode started to work at legendary Hansa Studios back in 1983 the studios where still located directly at the Berlin Wall. The building has been renovated inside and outside for lots of money since Bowie & Iggy were here, but Potsdamer Platz was still like “the end of the world”, the city was divided and it seemed the Wall would stand forever there. Faithful fans the band had already back then on both sides of the Wall and the city has a very special meaning to Depeche Mode up till today. Not only because of a legendary concert back in 1988 in East-Berlin behind “the iron curtain” or because Martin Gore lived in the mid 80’s in West-Berlin or because the Boys loved to check out the Berlin nightlife – first of all the band worked at Hansa Studios on four albums in a row from 1983-1986. For many DM fans the songs and albums of this period are amongst their all time favourites and not only a few of them wishes hardly that Mister Alan Wilder will come back to Depeche Mode.

Whatever happens in future – with the Depeche Mode Berlin Tour we dive into the Berlin years of the band. During the tour we visit the available parts of Hansa Studios and let the 80’s atmosphere of this very special place come to life with many rare images, exciting anecdotes and nice music sequences. Everything counts, People are People, Shake the disease, Question of time, Stripped – milestones in the band’s career and of course there is a lot to talk about in the studios.

Of course Berlin has changed a lot since Dave, Martin, Alan and Fletch were working here regularly but with the Depeche Mode Berlin Tour you will get an idea what was fascinating for the band back then and brings them still back to Berlin again and again – for working at Hansa Studios still or performing at the O2 World or at Berlin Olympic stadium.

Berlin is Germany's capital and co-extensive with the Land of Berlin, one of the 16 federal states that make up the Federal Republic of Germany. With architectural heritage from Prussian monarchism, Nazism, East German communism and Potsdamer Platz, filled with 1990s and 2000s-style glass palaces after having been a "blank canvas" due to the wall, Berlin's architecture is as varied as its neighbourhoods and its people. And due to its long history as a cosmopolitan capital (first of Prussia and later of Germany) it has attracted immigrants from all over the world for more than three hundred years now, who continue to leave their own marks on the city. Berlin is a world city of culture, politics, media and science. Its economy is based on high-tech firms and the service sector, a diverse range of creative industries, research facilities, and media corporations. Significant sectors also include IT, biotechnology, construction and electronics. Berlin is home to world-renowned universities, orchestras, museums, and entertainment venues, and is host to many sporting events. Amyl & The Sniffers announce 2024 UK and European tour

The tour announcement comes after the band's release of their first new music in three years

Amyl & The Sniffers have announced a 2024 UK and European tour, set to kick off later this year.

The Australian punks will be kicking off the tour on November 5 at the National Stadium in Dublin. From there, they will be making stops in Glasgow, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London.

Amy Taylor and co. will then make their way to Brussels, Cologne, Copenhagen, Berlin, Munich, Lausanne, and more before wrapping up the tour on November 29 at Floyd in Athens.

A ticket pre-sale will be available on May 29 at 10am local time for fans who sign up for the bands official mailing list here . Elsewhere, the band released their latest single ‘U Should Not Be Doing That’ , along with a B-side called ‘Fact’s’. The new songs marked their first new music in three years, since they dropped their second album ‘ Comfort To Me ‘ in 2021.

NME  last spoke to Amyl & The Sniffers back in 2021,  where Taylor spoke about how ‘Comfort To Me’ addressed the political environment Australians were facing in the summer of 2019.

“‘Capital’ is about how many people are left on the outskirts of society without any help – especially none from fucking Scott Morrison, the absolute tosser,” Taylor told  NME . “We’re all getting taxed to buggery and getting nothing in return. In bushfire season he gave nobody a helping hand.

“I’m not that well educated about politics, but during bushfire season all of the  Indigenous people had advanced backburning set-ups  and the government just ignored that. Also,  Indigenous incarceration rates  are off the fucking Richter scale.”

In a four-star review of ‘Comfort To Me ‘, NME shared: “When the band rally against being pigeonholed on ‘Don’t Fence Me In’, it feels like they’ve finally escaped this fate – sure, they can still pull a decent pint of pub rock, but ‘Comfort To Me’ serves as proof that there’s far more to them than just that.”
