Easily the highlight of our trip to Key West. The ironic thing is that it was the one activity we didn't plan. We found out about Argo Navis during our food tour. We were able to book then for that evening. It was a beautiful evening on the water. They are not joking when they say a 75 foot luxury catamaran. It was a beautiful vessel. Well appointed with seating both indoors and out. We spent the majority of time on the bow. The wind in our face was awesome. We had a smaller group of only eleven, so the service was very attentive. Our drinks stayed full and had our choice of appetizers. We were able to get plenty of pictures and videos during the trip. It was so nice being on a quiet vessel away from the craziness of some of the other sunset cruise charters. A nice slow enjoyable evening is exactly what we got. They say you get what you pay for, and this was a shining example. When we return we will be back to another cruise. Next time we will bring our two pups for the ride as well! Thanks for a great trip!

Absolutely loved this cruise. The staff was great. Would highly recommend. The senset spectacular. The experience very much worth having. Oh what a night!

We live in Big Pine but took the sunset cruise with friends the first time on the Hindu. We loved it so much we went back but the Hindu was being restored up north so went on the SV Argo Navis. Because they are very different vessels, we weren't sure we'd like the Argo but turns out, it's the crew that counts! We loved it and made our third trip this year. Can't say enough about the service, friendliness, and professionalism of this crew. There are many sunset cruises out there but this one is the best!!! No loud music and not SRO like some of the other ones we recommend them to everyone and are always told it was one of the best parts of their trip!! If you gave the opportunity, go with them. Promise you'll be so glad you did

Absolutely wonderful and was the highlight of our trip. This trip was recommended to us by the rental company as "above and beyond" and it was. It's the only sailing trip without music so you can just enjoy the quiet. Drinks are plentiful but (thank heavens) it's not a booze cruise. Apps were very good the crew was fantastic. We happened by the boat the day before and Emyl and Victor welcomed us aboard to give us a tour and tell us tell us the history of the boat. It's a very stable boat so even in high winds, it's steady sailing. Large interior so if it's too windy above, you can take refuge in there and still see out thanks to the large windows. There's also open but protected space at the back. Highly recommend.

What a great day on the water! Brunch cruise was awesome! Andy, Emma, Lindsay, Angelina and Connie were outstanding! Very friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating! If in Key West and want to cruise around on a beautiful boat with a GREAT crew - this is your best bet! Food and drinks were on point - GF/DF for one of our travelers as well! Kuddos to all and Thanks for the great memories and all the laughs!

1. BLUE HEAVEN

This Key West icon needs no explanation. If you only have time for one meal on the island, Blue Heaven should be it…and if you’re lucky, you’ll show up at brunch. It’s not hard, it happens everyday from 8am to 2pm. This hidden gem on the main drag of Bahama Village serves all the goods from Pink Shrimp and Grits and Blueberry Pancakes, to thick slices of Homemade Banana Bread and Lobster Benedicts with Key Lime Hollandaise! The mimosa menu is no joke either–there’s a list full of different varieties and they don’t quit after a couple sips…they’re served in stemmed water goblets and filled to the top! Touring inside gorgeous historic Key West homes is intriguing, but dining in them is better! Home to a sea captain and his family, Bagatelle was moved down Fleming St to where it sits pretty on Duval and has served as one of Key West’s premier island fine dining spots for the last 30+ years. It has two happy hours daily and lucky for everyone, one of them is called the Hangover Happy Hour from 9-11:30am! In these few magical hours breakfast tapas are $5 each and so are the brunchy booze! The name is french for “brief flirtation” which you can do with some chicken & waffles or fried french toast any day you’d like.

3. GOLDMAN’S DELI

Leave the ocean views behind, because where you’re brunching, you don’t need ’em! Goldman’s Deli is a fast and furious, family-run, flavor filled funhouse-of-a-diner. For those who like to eat around, put this unpretentious gem at the top of your list! Classic diner dishes made from scratch with love, sprinkled in with beloved jewish specialties like corned beef hash, pastrami, and lox platters paired with any of their selection of homemade bagels. Take our advice and get there early, (there’s even an early bird special) the line to get in the doors spills out onto the sidewalk quickly.

4. PEPE’S

If it’s good enough for President Truman, why shouldn’t it be good enough for the rest of us? Pepe’s is the longest standing locals’ magnet that’s been on the island since 1909, because they don’t mess around with the goods. They serve up daily changing specials hot, slathered in cream cheese sauces and paired with delicious homemade breads. Hey, we locals know what’s up, and you’re lucky we share our secrets! Like how waiting for a table is easy-breezy when you have one of their bloody marys in your hand.

This is fine-dining brunch style at the Ocean Key Resort! Pay one price and sit back and relax. The drinks seem to refill themselves as the attentive servers bring unending, freshly made tapas from the kitchen. It’s luxury at it’s finest. 6. MOON DOG CAFE

Sitting beside the Hemingway home is a spot that Ernest himself would’ve wished existed in the 30’s… Moondog has made its mark on the scene quickly bringing new life (and strung lighting ) to Whitehead Street. It doesn’t matter what time of day you sit down at a table, but brunch qualifies for top of the list! Freshly baked goods behind the counter and squeezed juice mimosas, a meal at this quaint café comes with the generous side of atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with anything from the menu–And it’s one of the few places in town that vegans and vegetarians can feel welcome and have options!

7. BREAKFAST CLUB, TOO

If you have an early boat trip off of the Historic Seaport, then Breakfast Club, Too was the perfect launching (or landing) point. Located conveniently on Greene Street, this breakfast bistro has a nice combination of cool, dark inside seating (if you’re fight fighting off a hangover) or sunny porch spots. Come hungry because the breakfast skillets are mountains of deliciousness.  Wash it down with their own signature roasted coffee.

Inspired by the two head chefs’ European influences, the Mediterranean-styled Azur restaurant serves up dreamy dishes to order all day long, which means couples can steal away off-Duval St. for a romantic meal no matter what time it is. But it’s their weekend brunch that makes it a particularly popular destination. They offer such tantalizing items such as Key Lime Stuffed French Toast, Yellowtail Snapper or in-house cured Nova Salmon Benedicts, and roasted pork sandwiches with fontina cheese. The atmosphere of either inside or out sets the scene for their well-dressed plates as a set would the actors of a broadway show. Come on any day of the week and the breakfast includes American Coastal Comfort Food favorites such as chicken and waffles, guava & cheese stuffed french toast, and pink shrimp omelettes. But if you manage to stop in on a Sunday, be prepared to dine on stocked buffet tables full of bushels of oysters on the half shell, ceviches, pastries, tropical fruits, peel n eat shrimp, and bottomless brunch drinks for $50 per head. Key West’s The Cafe caters to most (if not all) specialty diets ensuring that everyone has a delicious, nutritous, and bountiful start to their day, or in their brunches’ case…the weekend. Here, inside their hippy, traveler-meets-funky-art-peddler location, even the laziest among us can wake up late and still enjoy because the party doesn’t stop until 4pm. Sip on bottomless mimosas paired with homemade juices, or a in-house made kombucha or seltzer. Don’t forget to ask for your to-go box in advance because most dishes are big enough to take a little extra home…but no judgement if nothing makes it to the box.

Don’t even bother coming if you didn’t bring your appetite…Bistro 245’s Sunday brunch from 10am-2pm isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. From the moment you arrive and the attentive staff serves your first mimosa, don’t expect to ever see your drink reach below 1/2 empty again.  It’s now time to stretch, grab your plates, and head off to the races. About the guided trip

Tour size: private - 6 people max, price: $650, meet at beachside resort & residences marina.

Take a boat ride into the beautiful backcountry waters. Stop on the sandbar location for a walk in crystal clear shallow water. Go for a swim or just stay on the boat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. When you’ll start getting a little hungry we will have freshly made lunch ready for you.

1.5-2hrs anchored on the very pretty location while your captain prepares lunch

Lunch - grilled hot dogs with condiments, 30-45 minutes ride back to the marina, add 1 extra hour for $100, frequently asked questions, most frequent questions and answers.

Depending on the wind conditions we will take you to Mud Key or Snipe Point.

Unfortunately not. Burgers are very greasy and cooking them on the boat is not safe as the grill could catch on fire.

As many as you want. We will be sure to have enough so nobody would come back hungry from this trip.

Blue Heaven: An Iconic Key West Experience

Tucked away in Old Town in Bahama Village is where you’ll find Blue Heaven, a truly unique island vibe serving up one of the best brunches on the island. Dine beneath canopies of tropical foliage, while free-roaming roosters add to the whimsical charm. It’s one of the most popular restaurants in Key West and a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

Honored with the 2023 Bubba Award for Best Brunch in Key West (the Bubba Awards are Key West’s answer to the People’s Choice Awards), Blue Heaven boasts award-winning banana pancakes (but heads up, they only serve pancakes till noon) and specialties like the Lobster “BLT” Eggs Benedict, but everything on the menu is a winner. Blue Heaven is serving up BREAKFAST WITH THE ROOSTERS until 2:30 pm and always pouring freshly squeezed orange juice, baking homemade breads on-site, and they’re especially known for their benedicts & bloody marys!

Ryan from TripAdvisor captures the essence of Blue Heaven: “This is the spot for brunch in Key West. The locals love it for a reason…I have been there during several visits to the island, and it never disappoints. This time I tried the banana pancakes, and they were the best pancakes I have ever had. Add in some sides and a mimosa and I was ready to enjoy the day. My fellow guests all tried something different and we did not have a disappointed diner at the table… We love sitting out back in the shade and watching the roosters run around.” In fact, Blue Heaven even inspired a song by none other than Jimmy Buffett. Nestled in the heart of Old Town on Duval Street, Bagatelle offers an inviting and charming atmosphere with both indoor and al fresco dining options. Paradise54445569093 from TripAdvisor recalls their fantastic brunch experience: “We had brunch on Saturday and sat outside on the front porch—our first time here. Kate, our server, had a never-ending smile and lots of great suggestions. I had a Cucumber Cooler cocktail (refreshingly great and not sweet!) and their corned beef hash. My husband had coffee and their biscuits, sausage gravy, and eggs. We loved our meals and topped it off with two desserts: key lime pie and an amazing brownie with ice cream. During our brunch, a brief parade broke out! Ha! What a fantastic time! Thank you!”

Across the street from the iconic Blue Heaven is where you’ll find this charming café that exudes French flair. Choose to dine inside, at the counter, or savor your meal on the picturesque patio in Bahama Village. 

Open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, their breakfast offerings include genuine crêpes, tantalizing omelets, galettes, and much more. The “La Red Velvet,” a delightful galette with berries coulis, chocolate ganache, strawberries, almonds, chantilly, and ice cream, stands as a must-try.  Explore the full menu here .

Ratatouille crepe followed by a simple key lime crepe are easily shareable. Don’t forget the mimosas. Love that we have had the same waiter over the years when we return to this old favorite. Sitting outdoors is fabulous just watching the crazy world go by…enjoy!!”

Onlywood Grill

Craving pizza in Key West? Onlywood Grill is the answer. Serving wood-fired pizza since 2012, the menu features over a dozen options. Favorites include the 4 Stagioni Pazze, made with San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, black olives, mushrooms, and baby artichoke hearts, and the Tartufata, made with white truffle sauce, Parmigiano, homemade mozzarella, mushrooms, and pancetta. Located on Duval Street, this beloved restaurant resides in a classic Key West home built in 1884. Serving brunch every day, it’s the perfect spot to visit after a long night of drinking. Warm cinnamon buns and breakfast tacos, made with scrambled egg, shrimp, bacon, cheddar-jack cheese, sriracha aioli, and served in grilled flour tortillas with house potatoes, are crowd favorites. The whole fried snapper served with jasmine rice, chef’s vegetables, and Thai chili garlic sauce is a solid choice for dinner.

Eaton Street Seafood Market & Restaurant

Part seafood market, part restaurant, this spot offers an array of local seafood inside a refurbished gas station. Options include hogfish, lobster, shrimp, stone crab, conch, grouper, and more. You can take it home to cook yourself or let them do it for you. Lobster rolls, fried fish sandwiches, and peel-and-eat shrimp are all winners, especially when paired with a cold beer on their shaded patio, which was once the site of the gas pumps.

Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas will be the world's biggest new cruise ship.

Cruising is one of the fastest growing sectors of tourism, with passenger numbers projected to reach 37.2 million by 2025, according to Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Cruise lines are responding to this growth by building new (and often, larger) vessels with all the bells and whistles, including technological advancements that are more environmentally friendly and create the capability to use alternative fuels.

U.S. News has compiled this roundup of new cruise ships that have just set sail or are scheduled to launch later in 2023 and in 2024, plus a preview of new ships coming in 2025 and beyond. The list includes everything from expedition and luxury yacht-style vessels to reimagined ships and megaships – plus the debut of a brand-new cruise line.

Oceania Vista: May 2023

Carnival Venezia: May 2023

Originally built for the Chinese cruise market in 2019, Carnival Venezia first sailed throughout Asia under the Costa Cruises brand. MSC Euribia: June 2023

Seven Seas Grandeur: November 2023

The 746-passenger Seven Seas Grandeur will be Regent Seven Seas Cruises' third Explorer-class vessel when it launches late this fall. The line's signature Regent Suite – coming in at an impressive 4,443 square feet – has also been redesigned by Miami firm Studio DADO.

Celebrity Ascent: November 2023

Carnival Jubilee: December 2023

Icon of the Seas: January 2024

Icon of the Seas is the first Icon-class vessel in the Royal Caribbean International fleet – and the first new class of ship since 2014. When the massive vessel debuts in January 2024, it will replace Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas as the largest ship at sea (Icon of the Seas is 6% larger). The ship features eight distinct neighborhoods – including the new Surfside neighborhood, a colorful space geared toward family fun with kids clubs, Splashaway Bay, themed eateries and bars, adjacent staterooms and more.

There are four additional new neighborhoods as well. Thrill Island features Category 6, the largest water park at sea, while Chill Island boasts the line's first swim-up bar and The Hideaway features the first suspended infinity pool at sea. When Queen Anne launches in spring 2024, it will be Cunard Line's 249th ship since the company's inception in 1840, and the line's first new vessel in 14 years. The 3,000-passenger ship will feature a fresh, modern design, yet still give a nod to the Cunard's art deco past.

Once on board, guests will discover new entertainment venues like the Bright Lights Society show bar and more wide-open spaces throughout the ship, as well as Cunard 's first two-story theater. New international dining options include Japanese restaurant Aji Wa with sushi and omakase menus, plus Indian cuisine at Aranya. Queen Anne also offers an extensive health and wellness program in collaboration with health group Mareel that features a large thermal suite, a spa pool and a top-deck wellness studio.

Utopia of the Seas: July 2024

Utopia of the Seas will be Royal Caribbean's sixth (and final) Oasis-class ship when it debuts in summer 2024. The line's Ultimate Abyss – a dry slide with 10 stories of thrilling twists and turns – will now stretch an additional 43 feet, making it the longest dry slide at sea.

Explora II: August 2024

In addition, guests on board the luxury vessel will have their choice of eight dining venues and a wide selection of bars and lounges, including The Marquee, a new alfresco restaurant.

Viking Vela: December 2024

Measuring 748 feet long and 101 feet wide, Viking Vela will be the line's largest ship when it debuts at the end of 2024. It will accommodate 68 more passengers than its sister ships, but feature Viking's signature veranda staterooms, public spaces, amenities and dining venues. Seasoned Viking cruisers can look forward to favorites like The Nordic Spa, the Wintergarden, Mamsen's, the Explorers' Lounge, the Sports Deck, Manfredi's Italian Restaurant and The Chef's Table.

Disney Treasure: December 2024

Top feature: Debut of new Disney Parks-inspired onboard venues

Sails to: Eastern and Western Caribbean, Castaway Cay (Disney Cruise Line's private island)

Fans of Disney Cruise Line will find many familiar venues, attractions and restaurants on the new Disney Treasure, sister ship of Disney Wish . However, there will also be plenty of new features, including the theme of the ship: adventure. The Grand Hall, inspired by the movie "Aladdin," is designed with dark shades of blue, turquoise and gold and features a golden statue of a magic carpet with Aladdin and Jasmine.

Plaza de Coco replaces Disney Wish's "Frozen" dining experience with a two-night Mexican, "Coco"-themed theatrical dinner show. Meanwhile, "Disney The Tale of Moana" – a Broadway-style production based on the film "Moana" – will be exclusive to Disney Treasure. Adults will also find new lounges, such as the Jungle Cruise-themed Skipper Society and the Periscope Pub, which is inspired by "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." Disney Treasure can carry up to 4,000 passengers.

MSC World America: Spring 2025

MSC's new futuristic ship – and sister ship to MSC World Europa – will be based in Miami and sail the Caribbean. The LNG-powered, 6,762-passenger ship will offer more than 420,000 square feet of public space and many of the attractions found on World Europa, such as the MSC Luna Park Arena and World Galleria. There will also be more than 30 dining venues, bars and lounges, as well as the line's private enclave, MSC Yacht Club.

Oceania Allura: June 2025

Oceania Allura will be the eighth ship in Oceania's fleet, the second vessel of the line's Allura class and the sister ship to Oceania Vista. The 1,200-passenger Allura will offer the same upscale amenities as Vista, as well as a new Chef's Studio and one of the highest space-to-guest and staff-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry. Allura is scheduled to debut in June 2025.

Star Princess: August 2025

Star Princess is scheduled to set sail in 2025 as the sister ship to Sun Princess. The 4,300-passenger, LNG-powered ship will offer the same features as Sun Princess, including the Dome, the Piazza and the line's Signature Collection Suites. The vessel will also have 29-plus restaurants and bars.

Star of the Seas: Summer 2025

Royal Caribbean plans to introduce Star of the Seas – the second Icon-class vessel and sister to Icon of the Seas – in summer 2025.

Disney Cruise Line: 2025

Disney purchased the former Global Dream from Genting's Dream Cruises in 2022, when it was still being built at the German shipyard MV Werften. Disney plans to base the ship in Singapore for at least five years, offering Disney vacations to the Southeast Asian market. When it launches in 2025, the vessel will be the line's seventh ship and is expected to carry 6,000 passengers. Another newly built, currently unnamed Disney ship is planned to debut in 2025, as well.

Norwegian Cruise Line: 2025 and beyond

The third Prima-class ship is expected to be approximately 10% larger than the first ship in the class, Norwegian Prima (143,535 gross tons). The following ships for the line are anticipated to be even larger, with the fifth and sixth Prima-class vessels (debuting in 2027 and 2028) weighing as much as 171,000 gross tons.

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity's fifth Edge-class ship will be more eco-friendly, thanks to the addition of a new tri-fueled engine model and the capacity to store three different kinds of fuel, including methanol. The effort toward net-zero emissions and more sustainable cruising is a partnership between Royal Caribbean, the French shipyard Chantiers de L'Atlantique and the technology firm Wärtsilä. A debut date for this ship has not yet been announced.
