Alles in allem Super Sache.

Judas Priest

Metal masters 2024 europa tournee, olympic hall.

Judas Priest

They are one of the great legends of heavy metal and were only inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. After their world tour on the occasion of the band's 50th anniversary, Judas Priest are now going on another live tour through Europe under the promising title "Metal Masters 2024". With legendary support bands like Saxon and Uriah Heep, they will rock the Olympic Hall on 25 March 2024.

Few bands have shaped the history of heavy metal in the past decades as much as Judas Priest. Almost exactly half a century ago, their debut LP "Rocka Rolla" was released in September 1974 - with singer Rob Halford, with Glenn Tipton on guitar and Ian Hill on bass. An indestructible trio that, together with guitarist Richie Faulkner and drummer Scott Travis, is now going on tour again, with old hits from their successful albums "Screaming for Vengeance", "Painkiller" or "Nostradamus" as well as absolutely brand new songs.

The guys around "Metal-God" Rob Halford can look forward to prominent company on their new tour this time: Not only Saxon, who like Judas Priest were considered pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal at the beginning of the 1980s, are taking part in the Metal Masters evening in the Olympiahalle - the fans can look forward to another band, Uriah Heep, to the grandfathers of hard rock, who already celebrated great successes more than five decades ago, including their anthem "Lady in Black". Judas Priest, Saxon, Uriah Heep - this guarantees a loud and wild evening with a fiercely hard sound, on 25 March 2024 in the Olympic Hall.

Ozzy Osbourne Again Postpones Tour With Judas Priest, Announces 2023 Dates

Ozzy Osbourne has once again postponed the promised  upcoming European leg of his No More Tours II tour, the one with support from fellow metal legends  Judas Priest , this time moving the trek to 2023.

The package tour, initially  announced for 2019 , has been  postponed and rescheduled multiple times since, first to September 2020 and more recently to January 2022. Earlier deferrals concerned Osbourne's health, such as when he  battled the flu  or  suffered a fall . The COVID-19 pandemic nixed 2020 tour plans.

See the rescheduled Ozzy Osbourne and Judas Priest tour dates down toward the bottom of this post.

Osbourne explained in a statement this week, "Due to the ongoing uncertainty with full capacity events and travel logistics in much of Europe, we have come to the difficult decision to postpone my 2022 tour to 2023. Original tickets remain valid for the new dates. I want to thank all of you and Judas Priest for your continued patience and support."

Osbourne last year released  Ordinary Man  and is already  working on a new album . Judas Priest, now celebrating their 50th anniversary , recently postponed their remaining 2021 concerts after guitarist Richie Faulkner suffered a near-fatal heart dissection onstage.

The Ozzy and Priest tour is now scheduled to begin in Helsinki on May 3, 2023, winding its way around Europe and wrapping up in Birmingham, England, about five weeks later. Get tickets and more info here .

OZZY OSBOURNE's European Tour With JUDAS PRIEST Postponed To 2023

Ozzy Osbourne 's previously announced European tour with guests JUDAS PRIEST , originally set for 2019 and then rescheduled three times, has once again been postponed. All tickets remain valid and will be honored for new dates in May and June 2023.

Ozzy says: "Due to the ongoing uncertainty with full capacity events and travel logistics in much of Europe, we have come to the difficult decision to postpone my 2022 tour to 2023. Original tickets remain valid for the new dates. I want to thank all of you and JUDAS PRIEST for your continued patience and support."

Ozzy Osbourne + JUDAS PRIEST 2023 tour dates:

May 03 - Finland, Helsinki - Hartwall Arena May 05 - Sweden, Stockholm - Friends Arena May 07 - Germany, Dortmund - Westfalenhalle May 10 - Spain, Madrid - WiZink Center May 12 - Italy, Bologna - Unipol Arena May 14 - Germany, Munich - Olympiahalle May 17 - Hungary, Budapest - Budapest Arena May 19 - Czech Republic - Prague - O2 Arena May 21 - Switzerland, Zurich - Hallenstadion May 24 - Germany, Hamburg - Barclaycard Arena May 26 - Germany, Mannheim - SAP Arena May 28 - Germany, Berlin - Mercedes-Benz Arena May 31 - UK, Nottingham - Motorpoint Arena Jun. 02 - UK, Newcastle - Utilita Arena Jun. 04 - UK, Glasgow - Ovo Hydro Jun. 07 - UK, Manchester - AO Arena Jun. 10 - Ireland, Dublin - 3 Arena Jun. 12 - UK, London - O2 Arena Jun. 14 - UK, Birmingham - Resorts World Arena

Ozzy initially scrapped his entire 2019 schedule as he recovered from surgery to repair an injury sustained while dealing with a bout of pneumonia. The tour was postponed a second time after Ozzy continued to deal with health issues following a fall in his Los Angeles home. That fall "aggravated years-old injuries" from an ATV accident that occurred in 2003. The tour was pushed back a third time in October 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ozzy 's European tour with JUDAS PRIEST tour will now take place more than four years later than originally planned, and almost five years after tickets first went on sale in September 2018.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Ozzy was due to undergo a major surgery to help correct neck and spine issues following the 2019 fall. Those injuries have continued to keep the legendary heavy metal singer from returning to the stage.

Less than a year after Ozzy 's fall, the family revealed publicly that the BLACK SABBATH frontman had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

In July 2020, Ozzy said that he was still "not back to 100 percent" after suffering from several medical issues last year, including the fall, neck surgery and hospitalization for the flu. Ozzy also said that he was looking forward to performing again once he has regained his health and the coronavirus pandemic has subsided.

In May 2020, Ozzy 's son Jack said that his father will "probably" retire "within the next five to ten years." But Ozzy , who will turn 73 in December, has repeatedly said that he is not calling it quits, despite the fact that his "No More Tours 2" — whenever it ends up happening — is being billed as his last major global trek.

Ozzy was also forced to cancel an April 2020 trip to Switzerland to see a doctor who specializes in treatment of Parkinson's disease.

ABOUT JUDAS PRIEST

Judas Priest, a powerhouse in the world of heavy metal has spent over 50 years crafting a legendary career. Emerging from Birmingham in 1969, their impact and influence in the genre remain unparalleled. The band originally solidified their place in music history with iconic albums like ‘Sad Wings of Destiny’ and ‘Sin After Sin’ known for metal anthems like ‘Sinner’ and ‘Hell Bent for Leather’ while pioneering the leather-and-studs image now synonymous with the metal culture

The ’80s marked their pinnacle with classic albums ‘British Steel’, ‘Screaming for Vengeance’, and ‘Defenders of the Faith’, generating timeless hits like ‘Breaking the Law’. Despite lineup changes and various challenges, the band’s resilience remained unwavering. In 2018 Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Richie Faulkner, Ian Hill and Scott Travis released ‘Firepower’ which soared as one of their most successful albums, backed by an extensive global tour

Amid health setbacks and the pandemic, they persevered with a 50th-anniversary tour and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Preparing for the release of their 19th studio album ‘Invincible Shield’ and a headlining performance at the 2023 PowerTrip Music Festival, Judas Priest’s unwavering dedication to spreading their heavy metal legacy continues, promising to rock on into 2024 and beyond.
