Directions to the Vineyard - From Clinton Keith Road, turn right onto Avenida La Cresta. Travel Avenida La Cresta for 6.7 miles and turn left onto Sierra Maria.  Look for directional signs to the winery.  NOTE: GPS can be inaccurate.

Tour beautiful estate homes and shop the bakery, gourmet shop, and holiday vendors at the Temecula Valley Woman’s Club 36th Annual Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, December 3, and Sunday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets cost $36. Bistro lunch tickets cost $20. To purchase tickets, visit www.tvwc.com/home-tour-tickets .

Proceeds from this fundraiser go toward local high school scholarships, charities, and Animal Friends of the Valleys.

The weather is finally beginning to cool, Christmas commercials are on TV, catalogs are arriving in the mail and the holiday tunes are starting to play. By far, Christmas is my most favorite time of the year. There are so many things to do during the holiday season and Christmas in Temecula & Murrieta. Let’s Check it out

Murrieta Holiday Lights Drive-Through (free!)

On December 4,5,6,11,12, & 13th from 5:30 pm. through 9:30 pm you can drive through Candy Cane Lane (aka Temecula Square Loop) for a Christmas Light Extravaganza.

Family Filled Fun as there will be carriage rides, fully themed decorated trees, a magic show, and photos with the one and only Santa Clause!

Visit Santa’s Wine Country Workshop

On a carriage, drawn by elegant horses you and your family will visit Santa at his Wine Country Workshop. This 12-15 minute private HORSE DRAWN DRIVE THRU experience is a one of a kind holiday excursion. $65 for up to 6 guests  Ride includes a private horse drawn carriage ride and a visit with Santa.  Your own private group will be picked up at The Temecula Carriage House in wine country Temecula by private horse drawn carriage and taken to Santa’s wine country workshop where you will get to see Santa and let him know what you would like for Christmas!

*Santa will be inside the open air gingerbread house and he will be working on building toys.  As your carriage pulls into the gingerbread house you and your family will remain on the carriage at all times.  Santa will remain at a 6 foot distance from the carriage and you and your family will be able to discuss with him what you would like for Christmas.   *12-15 minute private carriage ride is available for reservation

Letters from Santa – Annies Cafe on Jefferson Temecula   

There are post boxes directly to Santa from December 1st  until Christmas Eve so that your little ones can post their letters to Santa. The letters that were dropped off at Annies Cafe will get a personalized reply from the North Pole to pick up when they come in next time.

Temecula’s Annual Holiday Home Tour

Proceeds from this fundraising tradition provides more than $20,000 in scholarships to all six of the area public high school’s graduating seniors, making this the area’s largest local scholarship contributor after Pechanga. Temecula Valley Woman’s Club has contributed to the Temecula Town Association Community Center Building Fund, and the Temecula Community Recreation Center (CRC) building fund. They donated $15,000 to both the City of Temecula and City of Murrieta Libraries building fund.

Holiday tour melds opulent homescapes and warm hospitality

Over-the-top opulence may be a mainstay of the Temecula Valley Woman’s Club (TVWC) annual Holiday Home Tour, when a handful of exclusive private residences, decorated to the hilt by professional designers, will be opened to the public for two days.

But today, from 2 p.m to 6 p.m. at Wedgewood at Galway Downs, the group is rolling out the hay — instead of a red carpet — to welcome guests to its 2017 gala.

Themed “Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots,” organizers hope to attract a wide range of guests with good food (Southfork Catering has prepared a buffet menu fitting the theme), a laid-back atmosphere, carnival-style games, live and silent auctions, a no-host bar and an opportunity to support a local charity. Music for dancing will be provided by the band Crossroads.

Their 33rd annual Holiday Home Tour opens next weekend — Saturday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 12 — and features four residences in Temecula wine country. In previous years the club has featured home tours in the communities of La Cresta, Santiago Estates and De Luz.

This year’s decadent dwellings include a mid-century modern masterpiece decorated in glam Hollywood style; a Tuscan treasure with a beautiful outdoor entertaining area including a custom-designed infinity pool and sweeping views across the valley; a traditional Georgian manor designed in the Antebellum style and brimming with beautiful objects d’art; and a vineyard retreat nestled between two wineries and boasting an outdoor patio decorated in a festive “Candyland” theme.

The Holiday Home Tour is the longstanding signature fundraising event for the Temecula Valley Women’s Club which, since the club’s founding in 1980, has donated in excess of $2 million to various local causes; its members have volunteered more than 1 million service hours.

Beneficiaries of the 2017 Home Tour and Gala include the Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Education Foundation ’s No Child Left Inside program, which is currently presented at 275 3rd- through 12th-grade classrooms in 10 school districts across southwest Riverside County.

The TVWC’s grant will help fund the hiring of a researcher to write an assessment and to record the impact and effectiveness of the Foundation’s programs on students and nature habitats.

Lovely, and very cozy. Close enough to food and entertainment but still has an away from it all feel. The evenings are very cool and quiet and it's really nice to just sit out and relax on the porch.

Temecula Rejuvenation

The spacious holiday home is located on the ground floor and is fitted with 3 bedrooms , a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and a toaster. A private entrance leads guests into the holiday home , where they can enjoy some wine or champagne. The holiday home offers bed linen, towels and laundry service.

The location was good, though seemed quite remote; within walking distance of several wineries. Was able to see the hot air balloons in the morning but otherwise the scenery was a little dry and sparse this time of year. Very spacious property, modern amenities, and clean. Property management very responsive; came same day to fix squeaky door hinges so my friend could sleep better at night.

Treat yourself, friends and family to the 30th Annual Holiday Home Tour. Walk through four simply amazing De Luz estate homes decked out for the holidays, courtesy of four interior designers. Be inspired by the festive decorating ideas and purchase holiday décor. Shop the Marketplace and get a head start on your holiday shopping. Enjoy the sweet treats at the Bakery, and purchase the Club’s custom-made soups at the Gourmet Shop. There will also be copies of TVWC’s Traditions Cookbooks available for purchase. Enjoy a lovely wining and dining experience at our Bistro.

Pre-sale tickets are $35. They are available to purchase online at www.tvwc.com , at local ticket sales location specified on our website, or from any TVWC member. Tickets will also be available at the door for $40. Please call 951-302-1270 for more information.

The VIP Package is limited in its availability and must be purchased online. This $125 package includes a shared limousine for the day which will bring you to the door of every home on the tour, as well as a continental breakfast and a Bistro lunch at Danza del Sol Winery.

Proceeds from the Holiday Home Tour and “Pearls and Ponies Gala” will benefit “All From the Heart Wheels for Warriors” and Hoby scholarships, as well as provide college scholarships to local high school students and other worthy educational projects in our valley. TVWC is a 501( c) 3 non-profit organization. Founded in 1980, TVWC has donated over 1 million volunteer hours of service and over two million dollars to the Temecula Valley.

Please join us for our monthly meeting on the 4th Thursday of each month, 10am in the Temeku Hills Clubhouse, 41687 Temeku Hills Drive, Temecula. Reservations are required.
