Drake performs onstage with a mic in hand.

Just hold on, we’re going on tour.

After teasing a U.S.and Canada jaunt back in December, Drake has finally officially announced his summer 2023 ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour with 21 Savage.

The Toronto-based rapper will play arenas all over North America from June through September .

“Ah, man, I can’t wait to see the people, “ Drake said in his late 2022 podcast appearance talking about his upcoming nationwide trek.

“It’s different when you’re performing, you look out in the crowd, someone locks eyes with you and you can just tell it’s a moment.”

Prior to the tour, Drake is scheduled to headline alongside J. Cole, Usher and Burna Boy at Raleigh, NC’s Dreamville Festival from April 1-2.

Then, midway through the 29-show run, Champagne Papi’s tour stops in New York City for four huge concerts — first up, he’ll play Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on July 17 and July 18 ; the next week, he swings into NYC’s Madison Square Garden for back-to-back gigs on July 25 and July 26 .

‘It’s All A Blur’ will be the hitmaker’s first since his 2018 “Aubrey & The Three Migos Live!” Tour.

And if you need to score tickets today, our “Motto” is that we’re here to help make that happen .

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, March 17, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

ABOUT DRAKE:

Drake is one of the most successful hip hop artists in the world. The Canadian rapper first gained serious attention in 2009 when he debuted his EP  So Far Gone , named the hottest mixtape of the year by MTV. Fast forward to 2018, Drake dropped the platinum double LP,  Scorpion  which included a staggering 25 tracks. Succeeding the album’s release, Drake hit the road headlining  Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour  across the US with surprise guests, Meek Mill, French Montana, Travis Scott and many others. While taking a break from touring in the last five years Drake has developed some of his best work. Topping the U.S. charts in August of 2019, Drake released  Care Package,  his first compilation album that consists of songs from 2010 to 2016 that weren’t initially available for commercial streaming. In September of 2021, Drake released his most highly anticipated album yet.  Certified Lover Boy  became his sixth studio album and broke Apple Music’s one-day streaming record in under 12 hours. Leading into Summer of 2022, Drake surprised fans with his seventh studio album,  Honestly Nevermind  which includes a notable feature from 21 Savage. Most recently in November of 2022 Drake and 21 Savage came out with a collaborative studio album titled  Her Loss . The album reached number one on the Billboard’s 200 chart and all 16 songs debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 list.

When Black Twitter collectively feels something is outrageous, everyone is going to make their feelings known.

This Drake tour was announced weeks after Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour was announced . Fans just had to spend an arm and a leg just to secure a place on that tour, now they have to do it again for Drake, and they’re not happy.

If you’re willing to travel to another country or hope to catch the second leg of Taylor Swift’s epic Eras Tour , you don’t need to sign up for a presale to get a resale ticket. Plus, more artists such as Noah Kahan , Avril Lavigne and Vampire Weekend are adding dates to their trek, extending tour runs and giving you, the fans, even more opportunities to snag tickets and watch them perform live.

Whether you’re on the hunt for last-minute Jelly Roll tickets or just need some weekend plans, these ticket sites usually come with backed up, protected sales featuring lower prices than what most scalpers are selling for. Before you make your purchase, check the buyer’s guarantee — which most of these sites feature — to see how your purchases will protected.

To take the work out of researching where to find reliable resale tickets, we did the work and rounded up the best cheap ticket sites on Cyber Monday so you can see your favorite artists live while avoiding emptying your wallet.

Keep reading to see where to score affordable tickets to concerts and festivals.

Ticketmaster’s Cyber Monday deals are happening now and they weren’t being stingy with the discounts. The ticket seller is offering four deals you can take advantage of including 50% off select shows, Me+3 4-Packs, 2-for-1 tickets and tickets under $40. Check out the deals page here to see what shows and concerts are eligible for the deals. Some shows will require a promo code to use at checkout, which will be listed underneath the show name.

You can search based on artist, team, venue and more, whether you’ve scored a travel deal or just want to stay local. When looking at tickets, some sales are verified with a checkmark to show they’re from what the site considers a “super seller” and the brand guarantees instant delivery to your smart device.

TicketNetwork is a non-primary seller that aims to get tickets in your hands without you having to worry about signing up for a presale. You can take advantage of $25 off orders of $150+ when you enter the code TNTIX25 at checkout. The brand does notify shoppers that some tickets may be sold at above face value, but it offers a place that helps minimize the risk of being scammed. You can also see a ranking of the most popular shows based on the genre of music.

Seat Geek categorizes everything based on trending shows, genre and what’s going on in your area. Once you click on your desired show, the site breaks down seat choice by using a scale of 1-10 of how great a deal it is. You can also search for seats using the venue map to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for. If it’s your first time purchasing through Seat Geek, you can snag $10 off orders of $250+ with the code BILLBOARD10.

Looking for cheap last-minute tickets? Gametime has gained attention for providing last-minute verified tickets for a more budget-friendly cost. Whether you’re waiting for day-of tickets or are looking for something to do on a Friday night, this site will show you what’s going on near you, as well as sort by some of the hottest events of the year. Plus, if it’s your first time using the seller, you can get $20 off purchases of $150+ when you enter the code SAVE20 at checkout.

Groupon won’t just give you a discount on restaurants or a promo on a manicure, the site also offers deals on concerts, festivals and live performances in your area or places you plan on traveling to. Their Cyber Monday deals are offering up to 75% off select deals, which you can browse through here . You can narrow your search by the type of performance or search for specific shows.

StubHub is another popular choice that people go to for when grabbing resale tickets at a more affordable price. Rapper Childish Gambino is heading back on tour in 2024, and tickets are going fast to see him perform live. While the demand is high for his first tour since 2018, there are a few avenues to explore when it comes to how to buy Childish Gambino tickets for his 2024 concert series.

Donald Glover has been busy in recent years with his acting career following hits like "Mr. & Mrs Smith," the final seasons of "Atlanta," and "The Lion King" remake. As the artist returns to his musical prowess this year, Glover has confirmed that his two 2024 albums will be his final releases under the stage name Childish Gambino. Following his reissue of the "3.15.20" album from 2020, now known as "Atavista," on May 13, 2024, the rapper will drop his last Childish Gambino album, "Bando Stone & the New World," this summer.

Childish Gambino's The New World Tour kicks off shortly after his "Atavista" release and will coincide with his "Bando Stone & the New World" album drop, promising plenty of new tracks on his upcoming concerts' setlists. The concert series begins on August 11, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with Childish Gambino scheduled to take his final bow on February 11, 2025, in Perth, Australia, after a total of 68 concerts.

Are Big Music Tours Really in Trouble?

High-profile cancellations from Jennifer Lopez and the Black Keys have armchair analysts talking. But industry insiders say live music is still thriving.

  • Share full article

A band performs on a large stage; the kick drum reads Black Keys.

By Ben Sisario and Joe Coscarelli

For the concert business, 2023 was a champagne-popping year. The worst of the pandemic comfortably in the rearview, shows big and small were selling out, with mega-tours by Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Drake and Bruce Springsteen pushing the industry to record ticket sales.

This year, as with much of the economy, success on the road seems more fragile. A string of high-profile cancellations, and slow sales for some major events, have raised questions about an overcrowded market and whether ticket prices have simply gotten too expensive.

Most conspicuously, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Keys have canceled entire arena tours. In the case of the Black Keys — a standby of rock radio and a popular touring draw for nearly two decades — the fallout has been severe enough that the band has parted ways with its two managers, the industry giant Irving Azoff and Steve Moir. Through a representative, Azoff and Moir said they had “amicably parted” with the band.

At Coachella, usually so buzzy that it sells out well before any performers are announced, tickets for the second of the California festival’s two weekends were still available by the time it opened in April.

Those issues have stoked headlines about a concert business that may be in trouble. But the reality, many insiders say, is more complex, with no simple explanation for problems on a range of tours, and a business that may be leveling out after a couple of extraordinary years when fans rushed to shows after Covid-19 shutdowns.

“I think it’s normalized back to the pre-Covid era,” said Rich Schaefer, the president of global touring at AEG, the company behind tours by Swift and the Rolling Stones. “Hot acts are going to sell tickets. Middle acts are going to sell, but take longer. And acts that don’t have a lot of heat on them are going to struggle.”

In a statement, Live Nation said that so far this year, sales are up from the same point in 2023, with over 100 million tickets sold. “Every year,” the company said, “some events naturally fall off for various reasons, and in 2024 across all venue types we’ve seen a 4 percent cancellation rate — which is flat to last year.”

In addition to Swift’s Eras Tour, which continues to be a phenomenon in Europe, hot events this year include tours by Olivia Rodrigo, Coldplay, Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan. Other festivals, like Lollapalooza in Chicago, have had notably strong sales.

Still, prominent cancellations of high-priced shows is another possible P.R. headache for Live Nation, the owner of Ticketmaster, which last month was sued by the Justice Department over accusations that it operates an illegal monopoly that stifles competition and results in high prices and fees. Live Nation has denied those allegations.

The key worry throughout the business is that ticket prices, which have been rising steadily for years , may now be so high that they are deterring fans from all but their once-in-a-lifetime, bucket-list shows. Tickets, even for many major tours, no longer vanish instantly.

When Billie Eilish put her latest arena tour on sale in April, for example, upper-deck seats at some venues were going for over $200, and took weeks to sell.

A joint tour by the rapper Future and the producer Metro Boomin, who shared a pair of No. 1 albums and a chart-topping hit single earlier this year, has also lagged. Even with tickets as low as $44.50, the opening-night concert in Kansas City, Mo., in July, still has thousands of seats for sale at all levels. To the chagrin of underperforming acts, the strength or weakness of sales is now evident in real time on Ticketmaster, which displays blue dots for every unsold seat (and pink dots for ones being offered for resale).

Last year, the average ticket price for one of the top 100 tours around the world was $131, up 23 percent from the year before, according to Pollstar, a trade publication that tracks concert tickets.

Steve Martin of Paladin Artists, a booking agent for classic rock acts like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, said that below the level of pop superstars like Swift, artists have become acutely aware of the economic pressures facing their fans.

“The meat of the business is made up of things like classic rock packages,” Martin said. “Those people are much more price sensitive. Working-class people are concerned about groceries and the price of gas.”

No single explanation can cover the range of problems in the live market this year. Some tours, like the Black Keys’, may simply be a matter of the band overestimating demand.

In 2021, the Black Keys left their longtime manager for a new partnership with Azoff and Moir , who also work with John Mayer and the Grateful Dead spinoff Dead & Co., and the band later praised Azoff’s “focus on touring and selling our tickets.” But even after a new album — the band’s 12th — was released in April, concert sales lagged, leading to the cancellations and a housecleaning behind the scenes.

In a social media post after the tour was abandoned, the group said it would “make some changes” to its touring plan to offer a more “intimate experience.” A representative for the band’s label did not respond to a request for comment on the management changes.

Nostalgia alone may not be enough to easily pack venues across the country. Lopez, though still a movie star and a tabloid feature, has not had a hit song in a decade . Tickets to see the ongoing arena tour from Justin Timberlake have been available on both the primary and secondary markets, with prices on StubHub sometimes falling well below face value.

Fans outside of high-demand markets like New York and Los Angeles do not always need to rush the digital queue the moment tickets go on sale. Some genres, like hip-hop, tend to move tickets more slowly than others, but can still sell out before showtime. The latest leg of Nicki Minaj’s tour, for example, is a sea of blue dots.

Many factors go into the price of the ticket, from the costs of gas and crew salaries — which have risen since the pandemic — to bigger-picture economics amortized over the course of an entire tour. Global promoters like Live Nation and AEG often offer artists a guaranteed payment covering all their shows; a bigger guarantee means that prices must be higher to recoup that investment.

Dan Wall, Live Nation’s executive vice president of corporate and regulatory affairs, said that while promoters may suggest pricing based on a deal guarantee, “it’s the artist’s team that ultimately decides ticket prices.”

Armchair analysis of ticket sales has become yet another element of modern fandom to be memed and weaponized, upping the stakes. As industry watchers on social media race to demonstrate the dominance of their favorites, screen grabs of available seats for upcoming concerts have gone viral, leading to media coverage.

“I feel like people online just sort of realized that you can look at seat maps and see how shows are doing,” said Sam Hunt, an executive at the touring agency Wasserman Music. “So I think part of it is that maybe not a ton has changed in the touring business — not every swing is a home run — but people are paying more attention to it and having a typically internet-y response.”

Still, the perception among some music fans is that large-scale concerts are more of a luxury than they once were.

Cliff Russell, 39, said in an interview that his two teenage daughters were interested in seeing blockbuster tours this year from acts like Rodrigo, Drake, Eilish and Swift.

But after the family, living outside Toronto, spent big for tickets to see Swift’s Eras Tour in November — with costs totaling near $3,000 for four tickets, “not counting transportation, parking, souvenirs” — spending another $300 per ticket for upper-deck seats to see another pop star just wasn’t in the cards.

“What was once a holy grail ticket price is now the average,” Russell said. “You’ve got to be really picky and choosy.”

Travel to Russia from Russian tour-operator

We can offer you our assistance in reservation and buying the tickets for opera and ballet performances in the best Russian theaters. In the high tourist season it is very difficult to buy the theater tickets on spot. Usually 3-7 days before the theatrical event (or sometimes even 2-3 weeks in advance) there are no available tickets on sale. That is why we suggest you to order your theater ticket in advance and offer you our help with reservation process. Moreover we can choose the best seat option for you – for reasonable price and with a good view on the stage. Besides this we could also advise you which theater to choose – according your hotel location and the performance you’d like to visit.

The ballet was introduced in Russia by Peter the Great as an aristocratic dance in the beginning of the XVIII century. In 1734 the first Russian ballet school was opened. The Imperial School of Ballet in St. Petersburg was opened in the 1740-s as the first professional dance company. By nowadays all large cites in Russia have their own ballet theaters, opera houses and symphony orchestras. We suggest you to visit some Russian ancient and imperial Theaters & Ballets houses in St. Petersburg and Moscow such as Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky, Hermitage Theater, Aleksandrinsky and Bolshoy Theater.

This Is a Film About the Black Keys

The Black Keys and managers Irving Azoff and Steve Moir have parted ways after the sudden and thoroughly publicized cancellation of the band’s North American arena tour previously scheduled for the fall.

A rep for Azoff confirmed the split to Variety late Thursday, calling it an “amicable parting”; a rep for the group did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The news was first reported by the New York Times.

However, they are hardly the only act dealing with the harsh realities of touring in 2024. While live-entertainment companies have reported record revenues in the two years since pandemic restrictions fully lifted and top tours continue to do extremely well, that rush has clearly cooled off for artists below the very top tiers. 2023 may come to be regarded as a watershed year, with Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Drake, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and others thundering across North America. But ticket prices have also reached a new peak, and combined with the bad press the industry has received amid the Justice Department’s recently filed but long-expected antitrust lawsuit against Ticketmaster owner Live Nation, many fans have apparently decided to be more selective with their spending.

Where can I book my ticket for the Trans-Siberian Railway?

There are two ways to get your Trans-Siberian ticket. You can book all your tickets on the Internet at home in advance and have the tickets sent to you. Alternatively you can fly to Moscow and buy the tickets on the spot over the counter.

Online Booking versus Local Purchase

Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. When booking online you can be sure you have all the tickets in your pocket and don’t have to worry about them when travelling. You have a firm reservation and need not worry that there are perhaps no tickets available. However, this certainty has a price.

If you take nothing but a plane ticket to Moscow and buy your travel reservations for the Trans-Siberian Railway in Russia you will, of course, pay less. However, the ticket sellers at the counters can speak no English as a rule. It is difficult, but not impossible, to order your tickets without speaking Russian. Keep in mind that trains can be booked solid and you may have to wait a few days before you can continue. If you prefer careful planning and certainty, this is not for you. If you are looking for pure Trans-Siberian adventure, this is the right address.

Online Reservations with Real Russia

A very good online booking provider is RealRussia. It is the only site I know where you can buy 3rd Class tickets for the Trans-Siberian Railway. Even if you prefer to buy your tickets locally, it is worthwhile checking the various options and approximate costs with their booking engine. The Tour Planner enables you to specify exactly when you want to go and where and how long you want to stay. You can plan your journey in peace and try out the various alternatives. It is worthwhile pushing things around a bit. The price for the same route may differ depending on the type of train used. On the whole the prices compared well with the tickets I purchased at the counter. No one who had booked through RealRussia complained about problems.

What are the key issues when booking?

If you travel on the same class throughout, make sure that the trains have a green “International Rate” logo. You will then save about 100 € on the total cost. The tickets will be sent from England. The shipping costs, depending on the exchange rate, are around 23 €. For about 11 € it is possible to have the tickets sent to your hostel in Moscow. I personally prefer to invest a few extra Euros and have the tickets safely in my hands. But that is up to you. If you want to save the shipping costs you can pick up all the tickets at the agency office in Moscow.

The prices on some rail links are labelled “TBC”. This abbreviation stands for “To Be Confirmed” meaning the price will be determined individually. You will then receive an e-mail quote and can decide whether to accept it or not. These connections are not any more or less expensive than the normal ones. you need a Paypal account or a credit card to pay. This is not a problem as you should in any case get yourself a free credit card for the journey. Note that the final payment will in British pounds. This may include foreign exchange fee of about 1.6% on your credit card.

Type your total distance and your start date into the form below. Then you can then fill in stopover as a second step.
