Grammy Award Winning Artist Daniel Caesar Presents Superpowers World Tour – Leg 2: U.S. & Canada

Today, Multi-platinum GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer  Daniel Caesar  announces Leg 2 of his global outing –  Daniel Caesar Presents Superpowers World Tour – Leg 2: U.S & Canada .

Produced by Live Nation, the 33-date tour kicks off on August 29 at Murat Theatre at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, making stops across the U.S. in Milwaukee, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Boston, and more, before wrapping up in Philadelphia at The Met Philadelphia on October 19. 

Additionally, the tour will include three unique performances in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Omar Apollo and Montell Fish will join Caesar in NYC, Flying Lotus and Orion Sun will grace the LA stop and Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena performance will include Charlotte Day Wilson together with BADBADNOTGOOD & Moses Sumney. Montell Fish and Orion Sun will support on various shows of the run.

Daniel Caesar’s latest critically acclaimed album  NEVER ENOUGH  is his highest charting release to date—debuting at #2 on  Billboard  Top R&B Albums Chart and Top 15 on  Billboard  200 Chart upon release. The album marked  “the biggest sales debut for a male R&B artist this year” .  NEVER ENOUGH  was produced by Caesar alongside Dylan Wiggins, with additional collaborations from Summer Walker, Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign, Omar Apollo, serpentwithfeet, and Mustafa. It features singles “ Do You Like Me? ,” “ Let Me Go ,” and “ Valentina ,” as well as viral song “ Always ,” which climbed to #1 on Genius’ Trending Lyrics Chart and peaked at #13 on  Billboard  Hot R&B Songs Chart and Top 25 on  Billboard  Adult R&B Airplay Chart. 

Following the album release, Caesar embarked on “ Almost Enough: The Intimate Sessions ” underplay tour, performing the new album in full for fans with sold-out shows across North America and Europe.

Daniel Caesar Announces U.S. and Canada Leg of “Superpowers World Tour” Spanning 33 Dates

Joined by special guests omar apollo, montell fish, orion sun and more..

Daniel Caesar has announced the second leg of his “Superpowers World Tour.” The singer will be embarking on an expansive run between August and October in support of his latest album, NEVER ENOUGH .

The R&B record debuted in April as Caesar’s third studio LP, marking a maturation in his work both as a performer and songwriter. In an interview around the time of dropping the project, Caesar told Hypebeast that he used the album as an opportunity to experiment with new lyrics and instrumentation.

Daniel Caesar Is Ready To Serenade A City Near You With Massive ‘Superpowers World Tour’

Daniel Caesar offered up his heart and soul with the release of his latest album NEVER ENOUGH . Now that he’s thrilled us all through our speakers, he’s ready to do so in person. To that effect, he’s announced that he’ll be embarking on his upcoming Superpowers World Tour this summer and fall.

The ambitious world tour will kick off this July and see the crooner traversing Asia, the United States and Canada. The Asia leg is up first and will mark the first time Daniel has toured Asia since 2018 and see him touching down in several countries. First up, he’ll appear in Seoul for the Have A Nice Trip Festival on July 15th. From there he’ll mix up other festival appearances and standalone dates throughout the continent — including stops in Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and Hong Kong — before wrapping the first leg up in Niigata, Japan for the Fuji Rock Festival .

After taking a month off, the tour will start its second leg on August 29th in Indianapolis. He’ll then hop all across the U.S. and Canada as he makes sure to stop everywhere he can in the two countries until mid-October. That includes dates in Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver and Washington, D.C.

The tour will also feature a number of supporting acts, including Montell Fish and Orion Sun . Those attending his New York, Toronto and Los Angeles dates are in for special treats, however. In New York, he’ll be supported by Montell Fish and GRAMMY-nominated rising star Omar Apollo . In Toronto, he’s invited BADBADNOTGOOD , Moses Sumney and Charlotte Day Wilson onto the bill. Los Angeles, meanwhile, will see Flying Lotus and Orion Sun join Daniel on the stage.

Tickets for the Superpowers World Tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 16th at 9 a.m. local time. Those who can’t wait that long, however, will want to subscribe to the singer’s newsletter to take advantage of the pre-sale, which opens at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, June 13th. Daniel Caesar Announces ‘Superpowers’ World Tour

Daniel Caesar is ready to return to the road. The Never Enough singer has announced the Superpowers tour, beginning at the end of September and stretching into the early days of Fall.

Caesar will begin in Indianapolis before visiting stops like Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles. He will then take Canada for eight days before returning for an east coast finish of Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. Presale for the tour will begin on Tuesday (June 13).

Daniel Caesar has announced the third leg of his “Superpowers World Tour,” expanding it to Australia, Asia, and Hawaii. Australia and Hawaii tickets are available for general onsale starting Friday, October 13 at 10am local time.

Tickets for the Asian tour dates will go on-sale with different timelines per market. In Taipei, general onsale is Wednesday, October 18 at 12pm CST. In Seoul, general onsale begins Thursday, October 19 at 12pm KST. In Bangkok, general onsale starts Monday, October 30 at 10am ICT. For Tokyo, general onsale begins Saturday, November 18 at 10am JST.

The first two legs of the sold-out North American tour offered a unique look at Daniel’s artistry and singular vision. For the first few songs of each show, he performed behind a sheer white curtain, adding a celestial quality to the performance. As a seasoned multi-instrumentalist, he took full command of the stage, offering the tens of thousands of attendees piano ballads and guitar solos with a stripped-down quality, yet almost otherworldly precision.

The set design displayed raw camera footage of fans singing along and his band entering and exiting the stage at each show. His ability to effortlessly switch between genres, from the sultry R&B of “Get You” to the gospel-infused “Blessed,” is remarkable and puts his versatility on full display.

The tour follows on the heels of his highest-charting album to date, NEVER ENOUGH , which debuted at No.2 on Billboard Top R&B Albums Chart and Top 15 on Billboard 200 Chart upon release and maintained his status as one of Spotify’s top 200 streamed artists worldwide.

Album highlights include “Always,” which continues to dominate Billboard Hot R&B and Adult R&B Airplay charts. NEVER ENOUGH is an examination of Daniel’s insatiable perfectionism and juxtaposes his self-scrutiny in relationships with his characteristically reassuring vocals.

The project was recorded in part in Canada, New York, London, and Los Angeles, and the concept was largely conceived in France. He cites the hero’s journey in Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist as a major influence. NEVER ENOUGH was produced in part by Raphael Saadiq and Daniel’s brother Zachary Simmonds.

What Are Those Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resell tickets through Ticketmaster’s resell program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend , and see if they have any resell tickets available. We recommend you compare the three options and find out which works best for you.

Alternatively, you can hit it old school style and show up at the concert when the box office opens and wish upon a star that they release more tickets, or hopefully, another concert-goer has an extra ticket to sell at face-value or even giveaway for free. Trust, this happens more often than not! We’ve given away many tickets to sold-out shows simply because our +1 couldn’t make it.

Here Are Daniel Caesar’s ‘Superpowers World Tour’ Openers

Daniel Caesar embarked on his Superpowers World Tour this week, opening on Tuesday night at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis. The tour will be supported by a slew of opening acts, which includes BADBADNOTGOOD , Charlotte Day Wilson , Flying Lotus, Montell Fish, Moses Sumney , Omar Apollo , and Orion Sun.

BADBADNOTGOOD and Charlotte Day Wilson are scheduled to join Caesar at his hometown show in Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena on October 15. The first five dates will feature Montell Fish, who will rejoin the tour for two of its final dates in Boston and Philadelphia in October. Meanwhile, a sizable chunk of the September dates will be supported by Orion Sun, and on September 21 at the Hollywood Bowl, they’ll be joined by Flying Lotus.

Moses Sumney will rock the remaining Canadian dates, while Omar Apollo will join Caesar and Montell Fish in New York.

Justin Timberlake returns to stage after arrest, thanks fans

CHICAGO (CNN) - Justin Timberlake returned to the stage Friday.

It was his first concert since being arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, on Tuesday.

Here’s what the singer told the crowd at the United Center in Chicago for his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour: “We’ve been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights. It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now. I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much.”

Sag Harbor police said Timberlake left a local hotel restaurant and bar early Tuesday morning and allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and failed to stay in his lane.

He was arrested and held overnight for arraignment. Timberlake’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 26.

Luis Miguel  has officially ended his historic tour in the United States. The fan-favorite singer gave an incredible performance in Nashville, Tennessee, which took place at the Bridgestone Arena in front of 20,000 fans who were thrilled to dance and sing along to his hit songs, as well as his version of iconic songs, such as Frank Sinatra's 'Fly With Me' and Michael Jackson's 'Smile.'

The iconic musician is set to continue his tour in Spain, after performing a total of 36 dates across the United States and showing his talent to over 600,000 attendees. NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez becomes U.S. citizen

CHARLOTTE, N.C. ( WBTV /Gray News) – One of NASCAR’s most popular drivers completed the journey to U.S. citizenship on Tuesday.

Daniel Suarez, the first and only Mexican-born driver to win a Cup Series race, took the oath of allegiance in Charlotte, seven years after making his debut at NASCAR’s highest level.

Among those in attendance to support Suarez was NASCAR President Steve Phelps, who gave a speech to the driver and the rest of the new American citizens.

“I truly admire your commitment and accomplishment,” Phelps said. “It takes a great deal of courage to come to the United States and as we like to say in sports, bet on yourself ... I commend you for all that you have done to become a citizen.”

Phelps described Suarez’s journey as one of resilience, applauding him for his determination and drive to not only compete at the top level, but also for his striving to become a citizen.

On April 29, Suarez said in a video posted to his Instagram that he had passed the citizenship exam and was looking forward to becoming a dual citizen.

Before his Cup Series dream became a reality, the driver of the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing car learned English by watching cartoons, then working his way through NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program.

Suarez made his NASCAR debut in 2014 with races in both the Xfinity and Truck Series, after previously racing for six years in Mexico. The following year, he earned a full-time ride with Joe Gibbs Racing before moving up to the team’s Cup Series lineup in 2017.

After exits from Joe Gibbs Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing, his career found new life with Trackhouse, which is co-owner by international music superstar Pitbull. He was signed as the team’s first-ever driver in 2021.

He made history in 2022, winning at Sonoma Raceway to become the first Mexican to win a Cup race. Then, this February, he won for the second time in his career, beating Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch by a nose in one of the closest finishes in NASCAR history.
