How to get tickets for Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance UK tour

It’s finally happening, folks

Huw Oliver

Calling all members of the Bey Hive: the time has finally come. Beyoncé has announced that she will be touring her latest album, ‘Renaissance’, released in July last year. Much to our delight, the superstar confirmed the live dates were happening at the Wearable Art Gala in California on October 22, and now the European and North American legs of the Renaissance World Tour have been announced.

There is a huge amount of hype around Bey returning to British shores, and people are already calling for the star to add more dates to her tour to satisfy demand.  There’s been a serious scramble for tickets so far, with many fans complaining on Twitter that they were kicked out before reaching the front of the presale queue.

RECOMMENDED: The best Beyoncé songs of all time

We expect that when the general tickets finally drop for ‘Renaissance’ in the UK they will sell out mega fast, so make sure to keep an eye out and plan ahead. H ere’s everything you need to know about Beyoncé’s 2023 UK shows.

When do Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour tickets go on sale?

An O2 presale has already taken place, as well as separate Live Nation and venue presales.

The BeyHive presale will go live on Monday February 6 from 9am to 6pm, while g eneral public sale will start at 10am on Tuesday February 7 .

How much do tickets cost?

As expected, tickets don’t come cheap. Prices for Beyoncé’s UK dates range from £56.25 for a seated ticket to £106.80 for a standing ticket, plus fees. VIP packages range from £1,960 to an eye-watering £2,400 for the VIP ‘Pure/Honey On Stage Risers: Front Row Experience’ (again, plus fees). Ouch.

What is the BeyHive presale?

The BeyHive Presale, available via Ticketmaster, allows access to an early ticket sale. It’s open on Monday February 6, between 9am and 6pm.

To be a member of the official BeyHive, you must already be signed up to Beyonce’s mailing list through her website. Unfortunately, registration has closed, so if you’re not already a member, you’ll have to wait for the general sale.

Who will support Beyoncé on her tour?

Now that the tour has been announced, there has been a lot of speculation around who Bey will be choosing to follow her around the world to open the show for her.

There have been rumours that Beyoncé has been considering British girl group Flo, who will receive the Rising Star Award at the 2023 Brit Awards. Other potential openers who will join Bey on stage are the Nigerian singer Tems, as well as English singer and rapper Bree Runway.

When did Beyonce last tour in the UK?

Beyoncé’s last tour in the UK was back in 2018 with her husband Jay-Z for her show ‘On The Run II’. The couple performed a total of six acts that included a mix of both of the stars’ songs such as ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘99 Problems’ and ‘Run the World (Girls)’.

They started the tour in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London before moving onto the rest of Europe and finishing the tour back in the USA.

Before that, Bey toured the UK in 2016 with The Formation World Tour in support of her album ‘Lemonade’.

Beyoncé general sale tickets at Ticketmaster and Live Nation for Renaissance tour UK 2023

Beyonce is performing at the Stadium of Light, Cardiff Principality Stadium, BT Murray Field Stadium in Edinburgh and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London

  • 07:30, 7 FEB 2023

Tickets are expected to sell-out in the general sale

Today is the last day Beyoncé fans can buy tickets to her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, as the general sale takes place Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

After a whirlwind week of pre-sales, the general sale will take place from 10am on Ticketmaster and Live Nation , on February 7, for all five UK stadium dates. The tour kicks off in Cardiff on May 17, 2023, and includes a show each in Edinburgh and Sunderland before closing with two shows at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on May 29 and 30 2023.

More than 200,000 people joined queues to try and buy tickets last week, and on the back of today's BeyHive fan pre-sale, tickets are expected to sell out within minutes of the general sale starting. Interest in today's general sale increased after the former Destiny's Child singer picked up her 32nd Grammy Award over the weekend.

When do Beyoncé tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster and Live Nation?

The general sale begins today, February 7 at 10am on Ticketmaster and Live Nation . Tickets for all five UK stadium dates will go on sale at this time and online queues are to be expected. Be sure to follow our tips below to maximise your chance of securing tickets, including joining virtual waiting rooms early and joining queues for multiple dates.

Beyoncé's UK leg of the tour begins on May 17 and ends on May 30. You can buy tickets here:

  • Buy Beyoncé tickets on Ticketmaster
  • Buy Beyoncé tickets on Live Nation

Tips to get tickets for Beyoncé's UK shows

As demand to see Beyoncé grows there are a lot of things fans can do now to prepare to get ahead in the virtual ticket queues, and as Liverpool isn't listed as a host city, being flexible with dates is key.

Joining the queue for a backup venue is also a recommended 'ticket tip' for buyers during popular artist sales as it increases the chances of getting tickets. The closest stadium show to Liverpool is in Sunderland (May 23, 2023) but we'd urge fans to join the queue for all five UK dates.

As well as this joining the Ticketmaster queue on more than one device is said to boost your chances of getting a good spot in the queue, as well as joining the virtual waiting room 15 minutes before the sale starts. Ticketmaster's virtual waiting room automatically places you in the general sale queue as soon as it opens, so you don't have to refresh.

Tickets will go on sale for her UK shows from Tuesday, February 7 and will be available from merchants including Ticketmaster and Live Nation . Last summer she was reported to be plotting her return with a series of intimate shows and pop-up performances, followed by a huge tour. In October, the superstar attended the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala with her husband Jay Z and eldest daughter Blue Ivy, and appeared to confirm the 2023 tour.

As it happened: Beyoncé adds new dates to Renaissance 2023 tour as MILLIONS of fans scramble to get tickets

Follow our blog for the latest general sale ticket updates on Beyoncé's Renaissance 2023 tour

  • Updated 16:13, 7 FEB 2023

beyonce uk tour ticketmaster

It's the final chance for fans to secure a ticket to see Beyoncé live in Wales today. General sale tickets will be available to buy from 10am today (February 7) for Beyoncé's Renaissance world tour which sees her performing live at Cardiff's Principality Stadium in May this year.

Due to incredible demand, the global superstar has added two extra dates to her London performances at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, on June 3 and 4, 2023. It comes after more than half a million fans joined the Ticketmaster online queues this morning, when tickets became available to buy after 10am.

Beyoncé will also be performing for fans in Edinburgh and Sunderland as part of her first solo tour in six years, celebrating her seventh studio album Renaissance. The 2023 tour, produced by Parkwood Entertainment, and promoted by Live Nation , kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, making stops throughout Europe.

READ MORE: Beyoncé fans must follow these rules to get tickets for Renaissance 2023 tour

The tour then continues across North America with shows in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and more. Fans can buy tickets today on Ticketmaster and Live Nation for all of her shows at 10am today.

The general sale comes after many Beyoncé lovers experienced disappointment last week in the pre-sale ticket releases. O2 Priority's app and desktop site crashed for many fans trying to get early access to tickets on Wednesday (February 1) and it made Live Nation's pre-sale, the day after on February 2, even more in demand as those who failed with O2 tried with the Live Nation pre-sale.

Ticket prices in Cardiff range from £50 to £170 depending on seating or standing allocation, or VIP preferences. Special VIP packages can go all the way up to £1,000 too.

Tickets in the general sale today are expected to sell-out very quickly and it is not yet known if Beyoncé will add further dates to her seven-date UK leg of her world tour. You can follow all the latest ticket and tour updates on in our live blog below. Make sure you post your experiences in the comments below or you can email [email protected].

End of live blog

This live blog has now ended, thank you for following.

Still in the queue?

All is not lost. If you are still in the queue there is a chance to get tickets. We're seeing reports of people securing their seats (or standing spot) several hours after the on-sale time.

The reason for this is that Ticketmaster ringfences tickets for people who get to the front of the queue. Buyers then have a certain time period to buy them. This does not always happen because of errors on the website, people changing their mind or just timing out their cart. In that case tickets will then be opened back up to the next people in the queue. This happens for a number of hours after a big event, meaning there is still a chance to secure your seat.

Tickets selling for over £2,300 on Ticketmaster

Ticket prices in Cardiff range from £50 to £170, depending on seating or standing allocation or VIP preferences - but special VIP packages are on offer for well over £2,000.

As fans continue to scramble for tickets for the Cardiff show and the recently-announced five London shows, many will be disappointed to see such high prices for seats being sold on ticketing platforms.

Fans outraged over lack of accessible tickets

We're seeing a lot of fans take to Twitter to share their frustrations over the lack of available accessible tickets.

Disabled fans have been unable to book companion tickets at most shows at Beyoncé’s upcoming #RENAISSANCEWorldTour . I assume @Ticketmaster think that fans in wheelchairs are able to teleport, and do not need any support navigating some of the largest stadiums in the world. pic.twitter.com/jemezkKFUU — RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR (@RenaissanceWT) February 7, 2023

Fans who require wheelchair access, more leg room or assistance getting to and from their seats can book these tickets through Ticketmaster's Accessible team.

But a lot of people are having issues. When bought Accessible tickets normally come with a free companion or carer seat but this isn't the case for fans today.

In the Twitter thread one fan said the Accessibility team had asked her to buy another ticket for her carer/companion as the system was 'broken'.

FIFTH London show announced

A fifth show has been added to Beyonce's London line-up, on June, 1.

A FIFTH and FINAL date for @Beyonce 's RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR at @SpursStadium is on sale NOW! https://t.co/jMW6gUb2pw https://t.co/uyvwvjxJ0U — Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (@SpursStadium) February 7, 2023

It's been confirmed by the venue, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and is said to be the FINAL extra date. Tickets for the new date can be bought on Ticketmaster, here.

One fan has said it was "easier" to get Beyoncé tickets compared to Peter Kay

One fan has told me it was easier to get tickets today for Beyoncé than it was for Peter Kay.

Molly Dowrick said: "Easier to get #Beyonce tickets than #PeterKay tbh! #wild."

When did Beyoncé last come to Wales?

The Crazy in Love star last performed in the Welsh capital in 2018 with her husband Jay-Z opening their combined world tour On The Run II, bringing the city to a standstill. She also visited as part of her Formation tour in 2016.

Wales Online Lifestyle Editor, Kathryn Williams, got to review the show in Wales in 2018 and commented on how the couple's on-stage chemistry made it an unmissable experience, you can read about it here.

Beyoncé in Cardiff: Ticket prices for Renaissance tour

More ticket tips for Beyoncé's Renaissance 2023 Tour

  • Once you have created your Ticketmaster account, or logged in, make sure you knbow your passwords and log in details or have them to hand in case anything happens nearer to 10am - for example, computer crashing, internet down, Wifi not working etc.
  • Update your address and payment details on your account in the My Account section on Ticketmaster for a smoother buying process, as usually you only get a few minutes to confirm and buy your tickets once allocated.
  • DO NOT refresh your screens (mobile or desktop) whilst in the virtual queues, Ticketmaster will kick you out and put you back to the front of the queue, so remember to be patient.
  • Have multiple devices on the go, your phone, your laptop, friends phones, family's laptops, the more windows you have open, the better your chances of getting something, just don't refresh.
  • Be flexible on the dates you want, and the stadium you are choosing. If queue numbers are massive for one date, maybe try another on the go at the same, the more options you give yourself, the more chances you have.
  • Keep an eye on Beyonce's website and social media accounts, she could announce more UK dates if shows sell-out today. Often artists will announce extra shows during the general sale of their existing shows, and tickets become available to buy immeditately for those shows.
  • Only buy your tickets from OFFICIAL ticketing sites today like Ticketmaster and Live Nation , you risk buying either counterfeit tickets elsewhere, which won't get you into the venue on the night, or over-priced tickets for those looking to make a quick profit.

Beyonce performing at the Renaissance tour

A few weeks after London saw the coronation of King Charles , they’re preparing for the arrival of the Queen Bee.

Beyoncé will be buzzing into town, bringing with her swarms of fans desperate to capture her legendary stage prowess – especially as it’s her first live shows here in six years.

Beyoncé’s latest tour is the Renaissance Tour, named after the disco-inspired album titled Renaissance released in July 2022.

It’s reportedly going to earn the artist a not-so-shabby £1.6bn – we’d be throwing a disco party for that, too.

What can lucky fans with a ticket expect to see from the show and can you still nab a ticket?

When are Beyoncé’s London tour dates?

Beyonce will be playing five dates in London. The shows are on:

  • Monday, May 29
  • Tuesday, May 30
  • Thursday, June 1
  • Saturday, June 3
  • Sunday, June 4

She will be playing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

  • Flight from London to US turns back with all passengers on board for nine hours

What will the stage be like for the Renaissance World Tour?

According to reports, the stage for Bey's tour is set to be huge.

A source close to the production revealed that: "The structure for the stage is gigantic and on a totally different scale from any other tour right now – that’s why she needed a huge venue to rehearse in.

And she can’t run through the show in any of the stadiums she is performing in because they aren’t soundproofed and people would hear what she was preparing.

She is on top form and is pulling out all the stops to make this a truly groundbreaking tour."
