Fresh off a supporting role in the Netflix film “You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah,” Adam Sandler is returning to the spotlight.

The “Happy Gilmore”/”Billy Madison”/”Punch Drunk Love”/”Uncut Gems”/”Little Nicky” star will return to the road from Oct. 12 through Dec. 12 as part of his upcoming ‘We Missed You Tour’ where he’ll drop into venues he missed earlier this year.

That includes a stop at Rochester, NY’s Blue Cross Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

At the event, he was honored by past collaborators like Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Chris Rock, Conan O’Brien, Steve Buscemi and many more.

You can find videos from the one-night-only extravaganza here .

After combing through past show records, we’ve found out just who most of these secretive stars have been via Instagram, Reddit and Spotify.

Without further ado, here’s everyone we’ve spotted performing with Sandler on tour since 2022:

Chris Rock  (“The Week Of”)

Bobcat Goldthwait  (“Shakes The Clown)

Rob Schneider  (“The Waterboy”)

Judd Apatow  (“Funny People”)

Nick Swardson  (“Just Go With It”)

David Spade  (“Grown Ups”)

Dan Patrick  (“Hubie Halloween”)

Sarah Sherman  (“Saturday Night Live”)

No word yet on who will take the stage with Sandler at his upcoming gigs but any of the above are certainly possible candidates.

Adam Sandler upcoming projects

Sandler always has a few irons in the fire.

Here’s what’s coming next for the prolific comedian.

“ Leo”   (2023):  Sandler stars alongside Heidi Gardner (“Saturday Night Live”) and Stephanie Hsu (“Everything Everywhere All At Once”) in this  animated film  about a 74-year-old lizard who, along with his turtle friend, escape from the terrarium of a Florida school classroom they’ve been living in for decades. Jason Alexander, Bill Burr, Cecily Strong, Robert Smigel and Jo Koy round out the voice cast.

“ Spaceman” (2023):  Based on the 2017 sci-fi novel “ Spaceman of Bohemia ,” the book follows the Czech Republic’s first independent astronaut. Sent on a dangerous solo mission, he leaves his wife behind and befriends a giant arachnid. No word on how closely the movie follows the original storyline. Paul Dano (“The Batman”), Carey Mulligan (“Promising Young Woman”), and Isabella Rossellini (“Blue Velvet”) co-star

Plus, Sandler has untitled Safdie Brothers and Noah Baumbach project in the works.

Plot details are under wraps for both projects; Brad Pitt is confirmed to star with Sandler in the Baumbach Netflix film according to the  New York Post .

IMDb states that Sandler will co-star with Megan Thee Stallion in the Safdie Brothers film.

Well, Adam Sandler (again) has a microphone and you don’t, so you will listen to every damn word he has to say . That is, if you’re heading to his next stand-up comedy show.

“The Wedding Singer” star — whom we have to thank for the above line — is launching a 25-city North American tour to close out 2023. The I Missed You tour comes on the heels of his best-reviewed film, this month’s Netflix comedy “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah,” and sold-out stand-up shows from earlier this year.

The comedy icon’s tour kicks off at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Oct. 12 and will hit Seattle, Portland, Ore., Las Vegas and the Midwest before wrapping in Denver on Dec. 12, according to promoter and show producer Live Nation. The tour also promises a surprise guest. (Earlier this year, his “Grown Ups” co-stars Kevin James, Rob Schneider and David Spade joined him on stage.)

The “Murder Mystery” and “Uncut Gems” actor will be making two Southern California stops in October: First, at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert on Oct. 2; second, at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Oct. 23.

He’s also playing shows at the SAP Center in San Jose on Oct. 18 and Save Mart Center on Oct. 20 in Fresno.

The presale for the tour begins Thursday and the general sale begins Friday on Ticketmaster.

The 57-year-old began his career on the stand-up circuit before landing a five-year gig on “Saturday Night Live” in the early 1990s. From there, the comic — known for his brash, man-child shtick and athleisure affinity — catapulted to superstardom with the hit comedies “Billy Madison,” “Happy Gilmore,” “The Water Boy” and “The Wedding Singer.”

The actor has taken on more dramatic fare over the last decade, starring in “The Meyerowitz Stories,” “Uncut Gems” — for which he earned a Screen Actors Guild nomination — and “Hustle.”

Sandler toured earlier this year under the Adam Sandler Live! marquee and extended that tour with seven shows in April . Before that, the comedian hit the road for his 100% Fresher tour in 2019. That live show, which streamed on Netflix, earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for writing for a variety special.

Adam Sandler Announces 25-Date Comedy Tour in North America: 'Let's Have Some Fun'

Sandler's 'I Miss You Tour' will kick off in Vancouver on Oct. 12

Adam Sandler is going back on the road!

The comedian, 57, announced on social media Wednesday that he'll be embarking on a comedy tour in North America from October to December, with 25 dates in total throughout the U.S. and Canada. The run of shows, titled the I Missed You Tour , is set to kick off Oct. 12 in Vancouver.

"Let’s have some fun," Sandler captioned an Instagram trailer, which included clips of him playing the guitar, taking some crowd selfies at a handful of shows and getting plenty of laughs.

The latest run of shows follows the Uncut Gems actor's Adam Sandler LIVE gigs, which concluded in April. The I Missed You Tour — which is produced by Live Nation — features stops in Portland, San Jose, Toronto, Memphis, Salt Lake City, Rochester, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, and beyond — with a final date on Dec. 12 in Denver.

Live Nation ticket presale kicks off at 12 p.m. local time on Thursday, with a Ticketmaster general sale starting at 12 p.m. local time on Friday.

Actor Pauly Shore shared his excitement under Sandler's Instagram post with the comment, "Daaaaa Sand man is back boom boom broozzz."

Sandler's tour announcement arrives shortly after he and his family starred in the Netflix teen film You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah , which followed the crew as they navigated planning the perfect bat mitzvah.

Adam and wife Jackie Sandler's daughters — Sunny , 14, and   Sadie , 17 — play the roles of two teens as the film "chronicles the high comedy and modern teen angst that comes with family, friendship, and first crushes," per a synopsis .

"What’s really funny is right before we started prepping for the film,  Sunny  had her actual bat mitzvah," director Sammi Cohen told PEOPLE in August of the film. "So I went to that service, and we got to do the real-life bat mitzvah and then left to make the movie. It was a really fun life movie moment."

"It was really, really fun. And it was, again, it was just such a perfect moment of life meets movie. It was just magical."

In March, Sandler was awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. The honor came as   Jennifer Aniston ,  Chris Rock ,  Pete Davidson , and more toasted the Saturday Night Live alum for his decades in show business.

Rob Schneider also shared a few kind words with his friend at the event, while performing a rendition of Sandler's "Grow Old With You" from  The Wedding Singer soundtrack.

"Nobody gave Adam Sandler his success. Adam earned this through his hard work in a really tough business, show business," Schneider said. "People ask me: why does Adam put me in so many movies? And it's because he wants to laugh and share his tremendous success with his friends, plus I will do really humiliating s--- that he won't do."

"Adam is a very generous guy,"  David Spade  also shared. "He has hired his whole family tree to work for him. The call sheet looks like Ancestry.com."

Sandler thanked his friends and family when collecting his award after several hilarious speeches, noting that "everybody was great."

"I feel like everyone who came and spoke up there, I think we all truly love each other," he said. "We have each other's backs for life. People always would ask me those bad reviews you get, how does that make you feel, like s---? It really doesn't. I think the reason I get to say it didn't hurt me is because so many of you guys in this room made me feel great about what we've done together."

SNL ’s Brutally Honest Tour Guide Wants to Temper Vacation Expectations for You

Portrait of Devon Ivie

We didn’t think we’d be getting four free minutes of therapy when clicking on this Adam Sandler sketch , but, well, here we are, and we have a lot to think about with our (nonrefundable, ugh ) summer plans. Word to the wise: Are you trying to travel away from your problems? Are you mentally in a place to travel at all? Sandler’s tour guide, pissed at the occasional negative review of his Italian adventures, has some words of wisdom you need to swallow. “If you’re sad now, you might still feel sad there,” he explains. “If you were sad where you are, and then you get on a plane to Italy, you in Italy will be the same sad you from before, just in a new place.” He just wants to be very clear what these tours can and can’t do for you, okay? “It cannot fix deeper issues, like how you behave in group settings or your general baseline mood. That’s a job for incremental lifestyle changes sustained over time,” he adds. “This may sound rude, but I’m trying to temper expectations.” All of a sudden, a Paddington 2 rewatch sounds way better than a Venice day trip.

All I Want In This Life Is Adam Sandler's Eras Tour Fit

Our man showed up to Taylor Swift's Los Angeles show is in his Lover era.

preview for The Career Evolution of Adam Sandler

On Wednesday night, Sandlercore reached yet another level of greatness. The actor—like, you know, every other actor this week—was spotted at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Los Angeles, California. You may or not know this, but the running trend at Swift’s concerts is to dress up in an outfit inspired by one of her albums. Sandler clearly got the memo and arrived in cotton candy-hued garb. The actor's look included a pink and blue feather-printed polo, blue basketball shorts, white tube socks, and sneakers. Naturally, Sandman's Eras-themed ensemble caught the attention of eagle-eyed Swifties, who snapped photos of him relaxing by the VIP tent.

Judging by his outfit’s color scheme (which matches the art on Swift’s seventh album), I think it’s safe to assume the actor is in his Lover era. Maybe his daughter Sadie, a known Taylor Swift fan , influenced his outfit choice. Or maybe he's just a dedicated Swiftie like the rest of us. Either way, our love for him lives on.

Travis Kelce Is ‘Looking for Movie Deals,’ Would Do ‘Anything’ for ‘Happy Gilmore’ Role

Feature Travis Kelce Looking for Movie Deals Wants Happy Gilmore 2

Travis Kelce is looking to add movie star to his résumé alongside Super Bowl champion and game show host.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end admitted on the Wednesday, May 29, episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce ’s “New Heights” podcast that he is pursuing big-screen roles as he addressed a theory that he might appear in Happy Gilmore 2 .

“Man, I didn’t even know there was a job opening for Happy Gilmore 2 ,” Kelce, 34, said of the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy sequel.

Kelce added that he’s a “huge fan of the Sandman” and would jump at the opportunity to appear in a movie with Sandler, but said ultimately it was all “a conspiracy theory.”

“I’ll be a f–king extra… anything to get around Happy Gilmore , an Adam Sandler film or set — count me in,” he said.

Kelce’s brother, Jason, pointed out that there’s “really no evidence to support” the theory, which was first posited by a Reddit user in April. The person cited Kelce wearing a Happy Gilmore baseball cap on the podcast and the sequel recently being announced.

“[No evidence] other than the movie’s getting made and I’m looking for movie deals,” Kelce responded.

“Who knows? Theories can come true. Theories can be true and people just don’t know about it. I might even be in the talking and nobody knows about it, but I could also not be in the talking,” he cryptically teased.

“I’ll do anything in the movie. I’ll be part of it any way I possibly can,” Kelce added.

Kelce has been branching out from the NFL in recent months following his high-profile courtship with Taylor Swift .

Earlier this month, Kelce was confirmed for the cast of Ryan Murphy ’s new FX horror series, Grotesquerie .

On the May 15 episode of “New Heights,” Kelce said that filming his acting debut was “so much fun,” and praised Murphy as an “unbelievable writer, director, producer, all of the above.”

“He seemed very confident that I’d be able to do this, and he kinda injected that in me the first conversation that we had. So hopefully I don’t bomb this for him,” he said.

In March, Kelce was also announced as the host of Amazon Prime Video’s new game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? , a new take on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader ?

“I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? ” Kelce said in a statement. “The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining. I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”

Could Travis Kelce be joining forces with Happy Gilmore ? The Kansas City Chiefs tight end isn't ruling out a possible role in Netflix's upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 , but it's not an ace quite yet.

On Wednesday's episode of New Heights , presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment, Travis responded to a fan's prediction that he'll be announced as a cast member in the forthcoming sequel to   Adam Sandler 's beloved 1996 golf comedy. The 36-year-old athlete is an avid golfer , has been actively seeking opportunities in scripted programming, and was recently photographed wearing a Happy Gilmore  hat .

"I didn't even know there was a job opening for Happy Gilmore 2 ," Travis said on Wednesday. "But if there is, I'll be a f**king extra. You know, anything to just get around Happy Gilmore or [an] Adam Sandler film or set -- count me in."

Travis made it clear that the fan's suggestion was nothing more than "a conspiracy theory" at this time, but then seemed to hint at something more.

"Theories can come true,"  he teased. "Theories can be true and just people don't know about it. So, I might even be in the talking and nobody knows about it, but I also could not be in the talking."

After winning his third Super Bowl  in five years, Travis has been busier than ever during this NFL offseason . In addition to jetting around the world with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift  -- who is currently performing on the European leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour -- Travis has also tried his hand as a game show host for Prime Video's forthcoming Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? . He is also making his official acting debut with a role in  Ryan Murphy 's upcoming FX drama, Grotesquerie , opposite Niecy Nash-Betts .

Travis' older brother and podcast co-host, Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce , wasn't swayed by the flimsy corroboration regarding a role for Travis in Happy Gilmore , saying, "There's really no evidence to support this whatsoever."

Travis responded, "Other than the movie's getting made and I'm looking for movie deals."

"And," Jason continued, "we both love Adam Sandler. So we're just in line with about a thousand, billion other people."

Netflix announced the project earlier this month, but has remained tightlipped about specific details surrounding the sequel, including its storyline, writer, and director. Sandler, who both starred in and co-wrote Universal Pictures' original  Happy Gilmore , has confirmed his involvement .

Travis could certainly have an edge here if Sandler is looking to score points with his daughters -- Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 15 -- who are diehard Swifties.

The legendary comedian, 57, admitted in a recent interview that he gets "a little jumpy" in Swift's presence .

"Just 'cause I don't wanna blow it for my kids," he said on  SiriusXM’s  Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend  in February. "So I'm a little like 'Taylor Taylor,' like I talk a little too loud or something. I don't stay as cool as I can."

In August, the  50 First Dates  star was  spotted at the Eras Tour  during Swift's sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium. He was seen wearing a cotton-candy colored shirt and sporting several friendship bracelets on his wrist, a nod to Swift's song, "You're on Your Own, Kid."

Additionally, Sandler and his wife, Jackie, were both  present at the premiere  of  The Eras Tour: The Movie  in October, which also brought out  Beyoncé  and other stars. At the time, Sandler was spotted embracing his dad era as he happily snapped pictures of his girls with the pop star.

Sandler told  O'Brien  that Swift has helped him connect with his daughters in a way that is fun for everyone. As for whether he considers himself a fan, the actor and comedian said you can count him as a Swiftie, too.

" I know them, too, by the way. But they know them inside and out," he said of memorizing her songs. "But it's just, remember The Beatles, every song on the record, you knew? That's Taylor Swift, too. You just,  there's not a song you skip . You go, 'That one's pretty damn cool.'"

For years now, talk of a sequel has been rampant, especially after Sandler and Christopher McDonald, who portrayed Shooter McGavin, said as much years ago. It was back in February 2021 when they appeared together on  The Dan Patrick Show  and shared that they were all in on the sequel.

If Travis does make his way to the  Happy Gilmore 2 set ,  Jason has a suggestion for his potential role.

"If Shooter was going to have a caddy, it would be some random celebrity," Jason mused. "I feel like, who better than to be the caddy than professional tight end Travis Kelce? 'Cause he's gonna want to show off that he's Shooter McGavin."

Travis echoed his original statement, saying, "Like I said, I'll do anything in the movie. I'll be a part of it any way I possibly can."

Most actors start with menial roles, often uncredited. Once they have a few jobs under their belts, they choose a path of movies or TV shows.

Sometimes both.

Adam Sandler has made a name for himself as a low-key celebrity loyal to his friends.

SNL skit with Adam Sandler

His unique slapstick humor appeals to a wide range of ages, making him a family-friendly actor with a dark side.

His first TV appearance was as an extra in The Cosby Show. He's also been in shows like The King of Queens and Kevin Can Wait featuring Kevin James, The Chris Rock Show, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine .

Essential Viewing: 11 Elisabeth Moss Movies & TV Shows You Must See

Since launching his movie career, Sandler has also started his own production company and has a string of actors in his movies.

You can expect to see at least one or more of the same names in any film. He often has his real-life wife, Jackie Sandler, in a role.

Other names often seen with Sandler include Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Henry Winkler, Dan Aykroyd, Steve Buscemi, Chris Farley, Allen Covert, Nicholas Turturro, Peter Dante, Blake Clark, and Jonathan Loughran.

Saturday Night Live (1990-1995)

Role: Various. Stream on Peacock

If it wasn't for the ongoing comedic brilliance of SNL, fans wouldn't have many of our favorite celebrities, including the great Adam Sandler.

Sandler was a regular cast member on the satirical series from 1990 to 1995.

Fans fell for his immature humor, oddball characters, and catchy music, even though the network didn't.

Adam Sandler at the start of his career

He left SNL at the end of the 20th season, but it wasn't the last time he'd join the ranks.

Sandler returned in 1996 and again in 2002. He also appeared in the show's 25th and 40th anniversary episodes.

Essential Viewing: 11 Jensen Ackles Movies & TV Shows You Must See

He didn't host SNL until 2019, nine days short of the 24th anniversary since he left the cast.

We also received the gift of Sandler's humor during the lockdown when he made cameo appearances in the first two episodes of Saturday Night Live at Home.

His music skit "Stuck in the House" with Pete Davidson became the motto for when things got too serious.

Sandler's time on SNL jumpstarted his career and led him to friendships with other SNL alums who've gone on to make it big.

Billy Madison (1995)

Role: Billy Madison. Watch on Peacock

Billy Madison was Sandler's first role as the main character. Until then, he had played minor roles with other SNL cast, like Coneheads with David Spade and Dan Aykroyd .

Adam Sandler as Billy Madison

Madison is the 27-year-old son of a rich hotel mogul. He thinks he'll one day take over his father's empire.

But Daddy dearest has zero faith in his son's abilities when he has the maturity of a 10-year-old.

After admitting he had paid the school so Billy could pass each grade, the two work out a deal.

Why We Need More Mockumentary-Style Shows Like The Office & Modern Family

If Billy could go through all twelve school grades, spending two weeks in every grade, he would get the company.

BM gave us a taste of the type of roles that Sandler perfects and the start of his working with friends.

Adamn Sandler in the tub

Steve Buscemi and Chris Farley had minor roles but didn't get credit for their appearances.

Happy Gilmore (1996)

Role: Happy Gilmore. Watch on Netflix or Starz

Happy Gilmore is the other half of the inspiration for Adam Sandler's production company, Happy Madison .

Sandler nailed the role of Happy Gilmore, a down-on-his-luck wannabe hockey player with an undiscovered talent for hitting golf balls really, really far.

Adam Sandler as Happy Gilmore

When his grandmother risks losing her house to the bank, Gilmore goes on a professional golfing tour to earn enough money to pay her debts.

Only he doesn't plan on making a nemesis from Shooter McGavin, played by Christopher McDonald.

McGavin is appalled at Gilmore's crass behavior, blue-collar antics, and effortless talent.

They compete for the win and also for the girl, played by Julie Bowen. Other familiar faces include Ben Stiller (uncredited), Carl Weathers, and Allen Covert.

Waterboy (1998)

Role: Bobby Boucher. Watch on Hulu

Adam Sandler demonstrated his immense talents by playing Bobby Boucher (pronounced Boo-shay) across from the uber-talented Kathy Bates as Mama.

Bobby Boucher is a momma's boy

Boucher is a bit slower intellectually and socially. His Mama kept him isolated from the world in their swamp in Louisiana.

To fill the void, he became obsessed with wrestling and water.

Bobby devotes his time as an underappreciated waterboy to a college football team. He ends up on a team that can't win when he gets fired.

The head coach -- the amazing Henry Winkler -- discovers Boucher isn't just a genius with H2O. He's even better at hitting people.

He helps his team make it to the playoffs, where they face his ex-boss and the players who tormented him for years.

Sandler's portrayal as the Cajun Boucher led many fans to quote the movie's most popular phrase, "My momma said ..."

Bobby Boucher is the waterboy

Other familiar faces you'll peep include Fairuza Balk, Jerry Reed, Allen Covert, Peter Dante, Blake Clark, Jonathan Loughran, and Rob Schneider.

Big Daddy (1999)

Role: Sonny Koufax. Watch on Hulu

Sandler plays Sonny Koufax, a grown man stuck in life. He's graduated law school but works at a toll booth one day a week.

Essential Viewing: 11 Olivia Munn Movies & TV Shows You Must See

His girlfriend dumped him because he was immature and unambitious. So, his solution is to adopt Julian, the unknown love child of his best friend, who is out of the country.

While the adoption fails to make his girlfriend take him back, Sonny is stuck as the dad to an orphan boy.

Twin Disney stars Cole and Dylan Sprouse played Julian. It's not the only time Sandler has starred in a movie with a Disney celeb.

Adam Sandler and his adoptive kid

Descendants star Cameron Boyce played in Grown Ups 1 and 2 before sadly passing away in 2019 at the age of 20.

Sonny and Julian form an unlikely bond as they teach each other about life and love. Sonny finds the perfect woman, another lawyer, Joey Lauren Adams.

Then, he ends up in court for kidnapping.

You'll recognize many of his friends, like Allen Covert, Jonathan Loughran, and Peter Dante. Rob Schneider and Steve Buscemi have minor roles, and we first see Adam's real wife, Jackie Sandler.

Mr. Deeds (2002)

Role: Longfellow Deeds. Watch on AMC+

While Sandler's earlier characters were immature and childish, his later films moved toward more mature roles.

His performance as Longfellow Deeds gave us a taste of him as a small-town guy thrown into the big city and millions of dollars.

Mr Deeds with a black foot

Unlike his rich guy role in Billy Madison, Deeds is a considerate and romantic millionaire.

He uses his wealth to help others while being manipulated by a TV tabloid reporter who is doing an expose on him.

Based on a True Story: The Best TV Created from Real-Life Events

Cast members include Winona Ryder as the reporter, John Turturro as the butler, and appearances from regulars like Steve Buscemi, Peter Dante, Blake Cark, Rob Schneider, and Allen Covert.

50 First Dates (2004)

Role: Henry. Watch on Hulu

50 First Dates stars Adam Sandler in a predominately romantic role as a womanizing player who meets his match in Lucy, played by Drew Barrymore .

Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler in 50 First Dates

He has an incredible first date that leaves him wanting more.

But when he tries to score a second date, he discovers a major problem.

Lucy has a head injury that took away her short-term memory. She forgets everything -- and everyone -- she's met once she goes to sleep.

At first, it's perfect. He can keep dating the same chick without worrying she'll fall in love with him.

He didn't plan on falling in love with her.

Adam Sandler as vet Henry Roth

Seeing Sandler in a romantic flick was a new experience that introduced him to a new audience. This film featured more of Rob Schneider, and Kevin James briefly appeared.

Other actors include Sean Austin, regulars Blake Clark, Allen Covert, Peter Dante, Jonathan Loughran, Jackie Sandler, and SNL alum Dan Aykroyd and Maya Rudolph.

With Representation Declining Industry-Wide, Is TV Failing Its LGBTQ+ Viewers?

The Longest Yard (2005)

Role: Paul Crewe. Watch on Paramount+

When The Longest Yard came out, wrestling fans celebrated the collaboration between two of the sexiest bald pro wrestlers in the biz - Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bill Goldberg.

On a side note, you'll spot Steve Austin appearing in another of Sandler's films, Grown Ups 2, in 2013.

Adam Sandler plays Paul Crewe

But those two weren't the only big-time names in the 1970s cult classic remake.

This football dramedy featured a who's who of popular names, making it a movie for everyone.

Some dark prison humor was thrown in for good measure.

Sandler plays Paul Crewe, a former football player sent to prison after violating his probation for throwing a football championship, making him hated by the entire country and all the inmates.

Except for Caretaker, played by Chris Rock.

When Crewe ends up at odds with the crooked prison warden and the guards, comedic gold occurs.

Chris Rock and Adam Sandler play football

Who else should you expect to see?

As far as regular celebs go, there's Burt Reynolds, James Cromwell, rapper Nelly, William Fichtner, Tracy Morgan, the D12 band, Nicholas Turturro, and former football player Terry Crews .

Other wrestlers include Kevin Nash, The Great Khali, and kickboxer/MMA fighter Bob Sapp. Regulars include Rob Schneider and Allen Covert.
