Siviri Beach is the main attraction of Siviri. The area of the settlement is split into two parts. If you stand facing the sea, on the right, you will see a wide promenade. This place is mostly favored by travelers who are on holiday with children. The local sea is famous for its mildly sloping sandy entry with warm crystal pure waters. The infrastructure facilities include dressing cubicles, summer showers, and beach bars with umbrellas and sunbeds, requiring an extra charge. If you want to relax for free, you should bring all the necessary goods with you.

The left side of the beach is a less crowded area even in the height of the season. This is due to the rocky background and the shore here. However, this peculiarity should not stop you from having a swim. Just a few meters away, the sea has a smooth sandy bottom. The proximity of the pine forest supplements the air with extra freshness and makes it more useful for the health of vacationers.

The main cultural attraction of the area is the Siviri Theater. It sits within the forest area near the settlement. At the end of June, you can enjoy a fantastic Kassandra Festival there. Among the events arranged here are:

• Stage plays in Greek;
• Exhibitions and cultural evenings;
• Performances of the Greek singers.

Considering the fact that all the events take place in the open air, you can experience an exceptional and authentic atmosphere here.

Local sunsets are regarded as Siviri unique natural phenomenon. Every day you can watch the sun slipping past the horizon, and each time the sunset will appear different. You will never get bored to watch it. A great diversity of red colors and shades set romantic atmosphere here

When the weather is fine, on the opposite side of the bay, travelers can see the contours of powerful Olympus, the home for the ancient Greek gods.

What to do?

The resort is a good choice for quiet and measured relaxation. Generally, it is recommended for families with children. They often come here to enjoy the beauty of local landscapes and Mediterranean cuisine.

Outdoor activities

If you are a fan of hiking, then you will find it quite exciting to cope with a 10-kilometer path, connecting Siviri and Sani. The route is marvelous and makes travelers impressed with local scenes. The path runs through a pine forest with a scenic environment and terrific air. There are several hotels and beach bars on the way. You can relax and have some snacks there. There are also private beaches, where you can have a swim in the sea within total privacy. The fans of water sports can go in for diving, snorkeling, and take some lessons in parasailing.

Are you a fan of shooting pictures? Do you want to get unforgettable emotions from the trip in Siviri? Go on a jeep safari about Kassandra Peninsula. The drivers will make you experience the secret paths full of turns and twists. Furthermore, you will learn the history of the area and take amazing photos with beautiful nature in the background.

If you are by car, Siviri is the most convenient starting point for trips in Kassandra. It takes no more than 30 minutes to reach any of the popular beaches or places worth visiting. Afytos which is the most picturesque town in Halkidiki is just 15 minutes drive away.

In spite of relatively small size, Siviri has a wide range of shops, taverns, the fishmonger’s, bakeries, selling fragrant bread and pies, and a lot of souvenir stalls.

Siviri entertainment for young visitors includes several gaming machines at the main square of the city and the beach.

The settlement has nothing special to boast with. The resort is targeted on calm relaxation. There are several bars with a good selection of alcoholic drinks and stylish interior, for example, Ammos and Pagopoieio.

If you want, you can explore not only the settlement, join one of the tours , which include a trip outside Siviri.

Where to stay?

There are no large hotels in Siviri. At the same time, the settlement offers a diverse choice of pleasant and modern Siviri apartments and mini-hotels

Siviris Golden Beach deserves particular attention. It provides clean rooms, a spacious on-site swimming pool, and an excellent location. What is great about this hotel is that you can bring your lovely pet for the holidays with you.

There are also some beautiful villas for rent in the settlement. Each of them has a unique style. Many viilas stand right on the coast and have direct access to the beach, or on a hill with a beautiful view of the sea and sunsets.

Consider a place called Elani, which is located nearby. If you like this region, you can find interesting options for villas and houses for rent there. Elani beach is very beautiful and if you want to come to Siviri, the way takes only 10 minutes by car. Or a 30 minute walk along a scenic trail.

What to taste?

There are taverns and restaurants, suiting every pocket, within the promenade area. The tables stand right on the sand. The meals here are so fresh and fragrant that you want to come here every day. Siviri provides a wide choice of fast food and dining venues. This results from the huge flow of visitors, coming during the peak season into the settlement.

If you prefer to cook meals on holiday on your own, you should go to a local supermarket Masoutis. This building stands at the town’s entrance. Both local inhabitants and the residents of the nearby settlements come here to do some shopping. You can buy products and other necessary goods within the area of a two-story building. On the road leading from the main highway to the village, there are several fish stores.

On Tuesdays, there is a market in Kassandria, where local farmers offer the freshest vegetables, fruits, seafood and much more. If you arrive early, in the morning, you will find the widest assortment. If you arrive closer to closing time (around 2 p.m.), you'll find less choice but discounted prices.

• If you wish to enjoy spectacular landscapes, the whisper of the warm sea, and renovation within the secluded area, then Siviri is the best choice.
• This region does not fit the fans of parties and vibrant nightlife. It is an ideal location for couples. The honeymooners often give their preference to Siviri due to the clean, warm water, amazing sunsets, and friendly people.

The valley of Koutsoupia offers a wide range of flora, including oak trees and other plants rarely found in Halkidiki.

Siviri is a village in West Kassandra which is 9 km away from Kallithea . It is built amphitheatrically along the sandy shore. During the summer months, like every seaside village in Halkidiki and especially in the first peninsula, Siviri is filled with Greek and foreign tourists who visit the village to swim and dine at seaside taverns. Siviri is known because of the Kassandra Festival which is held every July and August in the large Amphitheater that exists outside the village.

In Siviri you can find many cheap rooms or hotels which can provide you with all the necessary amenities for a memorable family vacation. We suggest you try the excellent By The Sea Apartments and Hotel Argo , which are located a few steps from the beach. The most luxurious accommodation in the region is Elani Bay Resort , located in the settlement of Elani . It is a beautiful place hidden among the pine trees where modern houses and villas exist.

In Siviri there is a big supermarket for your daily needs: beach bars, cafes and fish taverns with fresh fish . Our Siviri apartment is quietly located at the northern end of the village. The beach promenade is about 50 meters away, so all bars and restaurants can be reached within 5 to 10 minutes. The apartment is "Next To The Sea" - there are no other houses or streets between the apartment and the sea. The sound of the sea accompanies you to sleep. The beach can be reached within a minute and offers enough space for sunbathing.

Glavni grad, obavezna viza, vremenska zona, površina (km2), siviri, leto 2023..

Nalazi se na desetak kilometar od Kalitee, iza leđa Pefkohoriju, na zapadnoj obali poluostrva Kasandra. Ukoliko volite lepa mestašca, gde nema mnogo gužve, ali koja i nisu baš potpuno mirna – Siviri je odličan izbor.

Mesto ima usku i veoma dugu plažu. Pesak je najvećim delom plaže sitan, u nekim delovima je i malo krupniji pesak/sitan šljunak. Ima postepen ulaz u vodu, a u moru je na dnu isti onaj pesak koji je na plaži. U centralnom delu nalazi se mali dok gde rano ujutru možete kupiti svežu ribu od ribara. A tu su i dva odlična riblja restorana, gde se služi ta ista riba – friška i od jutros.

U desnom delu plaže nalazi se i ušće male reke u more, te taj deo i nije nešto posebno pogodan za kupanje, srećom plaža Sivirija je duga, a ušće zauzima tek njen mali deo, tako da ne predstavlja veliku smetnju. Mnogi pretpostavljaju da je Siviri omiljena destinacija komaraca zbog trske koja raste pored rečice, međutim verovali ili ne – to nije naročit slučaj.

Plaža Sivirija ima na više mesta postavljene tuševe, a levi deo plaže, od doka levo, je skoro ceo prazan i slobodan za vaše ležaljke i suncobrane. Malo mesto, a ima opcije za razne sportove na vodi. Ono što je takođe interesantno jeste da Siviri ima poseban prilaz vodi za osobe sa invaliditetom, kao i posebna kolica za vožnju po pesku i toalet za osobe sa invaliditetom.
