At long last, “the One” is opening its doors to a new owner.

The 105,000-square-foot Bel Air megamansion, which took well over 10 years to build, has come across its share of logistical and legal problems over the years, but was finally sold at auction on March 3. While the original auction asking price was $295 million—itself a reduction from the $340 million listing price in 2021, and the $500 million price tag before that—the home ended up selling for $126 million. This price is likely a disappointment to the megamansion’s developer, the controversial Nile Niami , and his investors, and it falls short of being the most expensive home sale in California —or even in Bel Air . But the One does now rank as the most expensive home ever sold at auction.

Now that sale saga has concluded, we’re revealing a private look at just what $126 million will get you with this video tour of the jaw-dropping residence led by agents Branden and Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates, who shared the Bel Air listing with Aaron Kirman of Compass:

The sprawling mansion is the brainchild of developer and former film producer Niami, who commissioned renowned Los Angeles architect Paul McClean to execute the larger-than-life project. Last October the property filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, so instead of listing for $500 million as was originally planned, it ended up hitting the auction block for $295 million.

While that price tag may sound outlandish, there’s no denying the home’s bevy of amenities make it unique, even among other jaw-dropping estates in Los Angeles.

For starters, the One has an enviable location—it’s perched atop a lofty hilltop and enjoys 360-degree views of the bustling city below. “Imagine being the king of the hill and really standing on a property where you’re looking down an entire city,” Rayni Williams tells Robb Report, “And all the while you have a complete compound that encompasses everything you love and everything that’s important to you.”

It’s true that the 21-bedroom property appeals to almost any hobby or interest. For the automotive enthusiast there’s a 30-car garage on the subterranean level, complete with two turntables for showcasing your most bragworthy marques. If you’re more of the fitness type, the third floor has its own gym and lap pool, plus a four-lane bowling alley, a hair salon and juice bar (great for post-workout smoothies and the like). Also on this level is the movie theater for cinephiles, the 10,000-bottle wine cellar for vino enthusiasts and the cigar lounge for those who’d rather just unwind with a stogie.

Meanwhile the primary bedroom alone is larger than most New York City apartments at 5,000 square feet, and has its own sitting room, massive his and hers closets and an office. And for visiting guests who’d prefer a separate building entirely, there’s a 4,500-square-foot guest house on the grounds as well.

A set of infinity pools create a sort of moat that surrounds the main home, further adding to the “castle on a hill” vibe. But it’s just one of many reasons you’ll want to spend time outdoors here. The 10,000-square-foot roof deck, for instance, has spectacular views of the city—the mansion’s elevator stops here, too, so you won’t have to hoof it up the stairs.

Obviously the One makes for a great party pad, doubly so because it has its own in-house night club. “We call it the philanthropy wing because it’s similar to something in the Pritzker Estate where they host thousands of people for charity events,” says Rayni Williams.

Put all of the above together and the home makes a lot of sense for our current real estate landscape, when buyers want as many built-in amenities as possible—that way, even if another quarantine period were to occur, everything they need is already on site.

Still, a gargantuan home like this one wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. “Obviously it’s not for everybody,” says Branden Williams. “But for the people it is for, it doesn’t get better than this.”

Unfortunately, the One’s new owner— Richard Saghian, founder and CEO of apparel company Fashion Nova—will have to wait just a little longer to find that out firsthand. It’s expected to take several more months of construction and somewhere around $20 million to finish the home and then obtain a certificate of occupancy.

Every year, HGTV builds a million-dollar home in a state of their choice and gives it away to a lucky viewer they choose from a lottery drawing. These homes have expertly designed spaces, state-of-the-art appliances , and breathtaking views. 

From Montana to Florida, these are the most recent dream homes HGTV has given away. 

The 2019 HGTV dream home is a mountain retreat located in Whitefish, Montana. The home is valued at $2.3 million.

This million-dollar home is nestled amongst the trees in Montana, overlooking some of the most breathtaking scenery of the state. 

The front door opens into the "great room," which is decorated with a moose's head and a wrap-around couch.

The living space has an industrial feel, especially with its fireplace, which is covered in sheet metal. The other focal point of the room is the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the stunning landscape. 

The "great room" easily flows into the kitchen, which has a massive island.

This kitchen is perfect for entertaining dinner guests because it is open and airy. The stainless steel appliances and blackened cabinets are sure to impress any visitor. 

On the other side of the house, you will find the master suite, which also overlooks the landscape.

The iron canopy bed can easily fit in this master bedroom because of the vaulted ceilings . 

The master bedroom leads into the bathroom, which has a tub inside the walk-in shower.

A glass wall separates the sink and bathing area in a beautiful, modern design. The bathroom also has a double vanity and a private toilet room . 

Upstairs there are guest bedrooms, like this one that uses bookshelves as the headboard.

This is the perfect room to get a little night reading done. 

Back on the main floor, there's a bonus room that's perfect for entertaining your guests.

This room is perfect for game night, movie night, or even workout time. 

Beverly Fulkerson of Osgood, Indiana, won the 2019 dream house.

"I entered knowing that I would never win," she said at the time of winning . "I would love to be sitting on that porch."

The 2018 HGTV dream home in Gig Harbor, Washington, was valued at $1.8 million.

Located just outside of Seattle, this dream home is a waterfront, three-level house that is perfect for any nature lover. 

The "great room" has floor-to-ceiling windows that have unobstructed views of the Puget Sound.

The "great room" also has a marble-tiled fireplace that will warm up the entire main level in the colder months. The living space also opens up into a dining room that can easily seat six people. 

On the opposite side of the main floor, you can find the main kitchen.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances , dark wood countertops, and a stain resistant stone backsplash. 

Upstairs on the top floor is the master bedroom that has a nature-inspired color scheme.

Artist  Celery Jones painted the mural on the back wall  after he was inspired by 1940s billboards. The mural ties into the color scheme that is inspired by a seaside resort.

The master suite has a soaking tub and a walk-in shower.

On the opposite wall,  there are double vanities . With white tiles and a massive skylight, the bathroom has an open, bright feel.

On the bottom floor, there is another seating area and bar for entertaining.

The downstairs den   has a TV, gaming consoles, and work out equipment .

You can find guest rooms on the bottom floor, so you can entertain guests all weekend long.

There are  three guest bedrooms  on the bottom floor, each named after its color scheme — pink, lavender, and blue and grey.

Emily Muniz of Nashville won the four-bedroom, three-bath home back in 2018.

Although Muniz won, she opted to take the cash prize instead of moving into the million dollar home.

"Obviously moving into an HGTV-designed home on the water is a once-in-a-lifetime chance that's not easy to turn down," Muniz   told People . "My husband and I honeymooned in Vancouver and Seattle and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. While we would have loved to have moved in, it just wasn't the right time to uproot our daughter from school and change jobs while also trying to tackle the finances that come along with such an expensive property."

The 2017, the HGTV dream home was located in St. Simons Island, Georgia, and valued at $1.7 million.

This million-dollar waterfront home is a remodeled ranch-style house with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a laundry room, and a stunning pool. 

Upon walking into the dream home, you immediately enter the living room.

In this space, the ceilings are vaulted and covered  in Pecky Cypress wood . The wood ceiling compliments the earthy color scheme throughout the home.

The kitchen design was inspired by the nature that surrounds the dream home.

The kitchen is equipped with a   36-inch stainless steel stove that has six burners . The island in the center of the woodsy kitchen is multifunctional as it has a deep sink.

Down the hall from the kitchen, you will find a navy blue master bedroom.

Off to the right of the bed, there is an  open seating area that is the perfect spot to read a good book or to watch the sunset. 

The serene master bathroom has a freestanding tub and a walk-in shower.

The bathroom also has a private toilet room , double vanities, and exquisite design details. 

In addition to two guest bedrooms, there is a pool lounge that connects the indoors and outdoors.

While the pool lounge is a cozy, serene place, there are also glass doors that can slide all the way back to create a seamless transition into the backyard pool area. 

The built-in swimming pool is the perfect addition to this home's scenic backyard.

The pool is also lined with lounge chairs, and there is a massive barbecue grill nearby and a gazebo. 

Anna Spangler of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, won the 2017 dream home.

"It was surreal," Spangler said at the time . "It is absolutely unbelievable!"

The 2016 HGTV dream home was located on Merrit Island, Florida, and cost about $1.5 million.

The exterior of this million-dollar home was inspired by Mediterranean and Caribbean aesthetics . 

The entrance of the home is grand, spilling into an open living room.

The French doors that line the entire living room offer breathtaking views of the water just steps from the home. The coastal feel was brought into the space through the simple colors, the industrial rebar coffee table , and the water-themed artwork. 

The living room flows directly into the open kitchen where the simple colors continue.

The backsplash covers the wall all the way to the ceiling, while the stove's range hood makes the kitchen feel more professional . 

By the kitchen, you will find the media room, which is sprinkled with pops of colors.

The room was meant to be a break from the simple color scheme that is seen in the rest of the house. While watching TV is probably a popular option in this room, you can also open the French doors and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. 

The vibrant colors continue upstairs in the teal master suite.

While the master suite is all about the color contrast, it's also about the view. Not only does the room face the water, it also opens up onto a private balcony.

The master suite comes with a Roman tub and an impressive walk-in shower.

The bathroom is equipped with two separate water stations , but the tub is the real centerpiece of this room. 

Outside of the dream house, there is a beautiful pool with jaw-dropping views.

The pool patio is an entertainer's dream. Filled with couches, lounge chairs, and umbrellas , it has room for every guest. 

David Rennie of Connecticut won the three bedroom home.

Rennie recently received a kidney transplant but was just as excited about winning the dream home. 

"I thought I won the lottery with the kidney. That was life-changing, but so is this. It's incredible," he said  at the time . "We just never thought it could get any better."

In the end, Rennie took the cash option and did not move into the Florida dream home. 

The 2015 HGTV dream home was located on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. It is valued at $2 million.

This million-dollar vacation home on Martha's Vineyard is the perfect example of Cape Cod architecture. 

The front door swings open into the "great room," which acts as a living room and dining room combo with vaulted ceilings.

The room maintains a simple color scheme with light blues sprinkled throughout. Built-in bookshelves surround a stone fireplace, which has a TV hidden above it .

Next to the "great room," you will find the kitchen, which is equipped with stainless steel appliances.

The focal point of the kitchen is the island, which has extra seating and a deep sink. Above the island is a skylight that lets in the beautiful Massachusetts light throughout the day. 

One wing of the house includes the vaulted master bedroom.

The tranquil space is filled with windows , letting in natural light. As if that isn't enough, the room also has two French doors that open out onto the patio. The vaulted ceiling is outlined in wood beams, allowing for a more earthy feel to the serene space. 

The two side bedrooms and the living room all have doors to this outside patio space that can entertain guests all night long.

Serenity flows both in and outside of this house, in which you could easily enjoy the views of Martha's Vineyard in comfortable outdoor seating .

Colorado’s Most Expensive Home Is an Iconic $100M Mansion in Aspen

A 10-bedroom mansion with ski-in, ski-out ski access in Aspen, CO, is now available for an eye-popping $100 million. It’s the most expensive home in Colorado by a margin of $15 million.

“This is one of Aspen’s most iconic properties,” says listing agent Steven Shane , of Compass. “It was originally built by Chris Hemmeter , who sold it to Ted Field , a movie producer who threw some of Aspen’s greatest parties at this residence. Ted Field later sold it to the current owner.” Hemmeter is a developer of large-scale Hawaiian resorts, and Field is founder of Interscope Communications.

Record-setting potential

If the seller gets anywhere near the asking price, this mansion on 1.4 slope-side acres will set the record for the priciest transaction in Aspen history.

Sky-high prices are not unusual in this town where 84 of the 346 houses currently for sale are priced over $10 million. However, this home stands apart from the crowd—in ways beyond its stratospheric price tag.

“There are only five single-family homes on Aspen Mountain, and of the five, this is the largest with 14,154 square feet,” Shane says. “The next largest is 8,000 square feet, and the third-largest is 7,000 square feet. Tommy Hilfiger bought [that home] for $31 million. Nine weeks later, he sold it for $50 million. That sale is how we got to this list price.”

Luxurious amenities

Built in 1979, the home was renovated as recently as 2015 and shows no signs of being 43 years old.

“It almost has the feeling, especially with the guest bedrooms, like you are in the Four Seasons Hotel,” Shane says.

Luxurious amenities include a street-level elevator that goes to a bridge that leads to the home’s front door. The three-level home features soaring ceilings and a wide-open feel.

On the first level, you’ll find four en suite bedrooms, a media room, plus a kitchen and dining area. Five additional bedrooms are on the second floor, but the highlight of the second level is the ski room.

“When you ski in or out, you can just click on your skis here,” Shane says.

The third level is where you’ll find the primary bedroom, an office, a second kitchen and dining area, as well as a great room.

“There are terraces here, so you can sit and watch the gondola,” he adds. “The house is about 100 yards from the gondola.

“The house runs parallel to the Little Nell run and has an incredible level of privacy,” he notes. “Not only does it have the best skiing aspect on Aspen Mountain, but it is on a wooded lot hidden by trees for privacy.”

It’s designed to appeal to an ultrahigh net worth buyer who appreciates the finer things in life. It also helps if that person has an abiding love for the slopes.

“Aspen is arguably the premier ski resort destination in the world,” Shane says. “There are only five homes on the mountain, and this one has 10 bedrooms and 14,000 square feet. This buyer is going to want a multigenerational home for their families.”

I love getting to pay homage to a few of the many artists that made these recordings so timeless!” Gutierrez was last seen in the world premiere of Run, Bambi, Run.

John Rochette ’s ( Elvis Presley ) credits include Jersey Boys on Broadway, Blue Man Group, Little Shop (Dentist) and Spamalot (Lancelot); he can also be seen in TV’s Blacklist, Rescue Me, All My Children and Guiding Light.  

Additional creative staff include J Branson as scenic designer, Samuel Rushen as lighting designer, Allan Branson as sound designer, Tammy Spencer as costume designer and Catherine Petty-Rogers as hair and makeup designer.

Scottie Scheffler can earn another $10 million without hitting a ball after FedEx Cup win

S cottie Scheffler won the Tour Championship's FedEx Cup this past weekend while getting his hands on a whopping $25 million - with him looking set to land another $10 million before the season's close without even playing.

Scheffler has now claimed seven PGA Tour wins this year , making $53 million throughout the 2024 campaign in prize money, with him likely to be win a further $10 million for the Player Impact Program .

The Player Impact Program pays out Golf's top-10 ranked players around $40 million per season - with the man leading the rankings being the most likely to take home the most from that pool.

The program was launched in 2020/21 to reward those who have the most positive influence on the tour. Metrics such as internet searches and social media reach are used to determine who has achieved the most in this area.

Despite facing criticism for being nothing more than a popularity contest, the prize pool has been slashed from $100m (£79m) for the top 20 players to $50m (£39m) for the top 10. The winner will now pocket $10m (£8m), down from the $15m Rory McIlroy bagged in 2023.

Scheffler tremendously ended his season at the Tour Championship in Atlanta, leading by two shots after starting at 10-under-par following his incredible campaign. The American had finally ended his wait to win the tournament, finishing at an incredible 30-under-par, going into the final round with five shots as Colin Morikawa looked to challenge him for the crown.

While his American Ryder Cup teammate continued to make a charge on Sunday, Scheffler kept his composure to post a final round four-under 67 to clinch the Tour Championship by four shots and winning the FedEx Cup in emotional scenes at the 18th. The 28-year-old was greeted by his son Bennett as well as his wife Meredith, with the three celebrating as a family in front of a crowd applauding him for his achievements on the weekend and throughout the 2024 year.

After the win, Scheffler said: "I feel like I've lived almost a full lifetime in this one year. It's been nuts. I don't know, I think it just always comes back to my faith. I think that's the thing that just keeps me grounded, keeps me in the right frame of mind."

He added on winning the Gold medal at the Olympics: "Yeah, I think the gold medal is pretty cool. I think when you hear people chanting 'U-S-A' - even though it's been over a month now since it happened, you still hear people talking about it, chanting."
