Enjoyed a wonderful day at Anfield with my Dad and son (bought as a Xmas gift). Our welcome was a warm one - greeted by various smiling faces from the off and a free hot drink before our tour commenced with our guides Lenny and Alan, who were both informative, attentive and witty. Ex-pros Jimmy Case and Alan Kennedy popped by for a photo op before an extremely tasty and immaculately presented lunch was served. The entertaining Case and Kennedy then signed a long queue of memorabilia before engaging the audience with their stories and guidance for the younger listeners. Both legends were extremely down-to-Earth and saw of the audience like they were family. We visited the museum before leaving and the staff here were equally warm and we were looked after during a photo-op with replica of No.5. The museum tour can be taken with a audio device giving a wealth of info or just enjoyed as read. The only negative was the tour was understandably restricted by the ongoing work to the Main stand- meaning no photo op in the changing room / dug out or tunnel but this was a minor in an otherwise wonderful day. Thanks to all at Anfield.
I truly recommend to everyone this package you will not be disappointed. Bought the tour as a gift for my boyfriend who is a massive LFC fan. What a day it was to remember. Arrived at 8.30am to be shown to the VIP boxes for breakfast, followed by a tour of the stadium. The tour guides Mick and Kate were fantastic, very informative and game for a laugh. Then we had a lovely 3 course meal and a drink followed by a Q&A with Ian Callaghan MBE. Considering I didn't know anything about him after he finished I felt like I had know him for ages. A genuine down to earth gentleman. we then took ourselves around the museum and the boot room and shop and all the while my boyfriend could not stop smiling. We left Anfield at 4pm a perfect full on day!. Nothing was a problem for the staff they were very helpful and made this whole experience. We even had an added bonus of seeing the 1st team squad get off their coach for a training session at the ground before the trip to Wembley. But this was only by chance as we only popped out for a little bit of air! This I feel topped off the experience. Im not an LFC fan myself but now they definitely have a space in my heart and as for my boyfriend I think I have won the best girlfriend trophy, I don't know how I am going to top it next year!
Thoroughly enjoyable tour. Took our grandson for his 10th birthday. Living in Exeter he never thought he would see the stadium. He so enjoyed it even sitting on the bench beneath Steven Gerrards peg and shirt. Thanks to all at LFC and well done.
what a great day, from the guy on the gate when we parked, and all of the people showed us around and served us a first class 3 course meal, we could not have been treated any better, phil Neal and dave Johnson , where very welcoming and easy to talk to, also very entertaining with some great memories, this is a must for die hard red fans, you will not be disappointed one to remember
Bought the tour as a gift for my husband. What a perfect day it was. Many thanks to the hard working staff who made this a day to remember.

Liverpool Will Be Transformed Into ‘Taylor Town’ Ahead Of Taylor Swift’s Performances

In honour of Taylor Swift's Eras tour reaching British shores in June, Liverpool will be transformed into 'Taylor Town' for a week.

taylor swifts the eras tour concert film made an estimated 96 million in its opening weekend

Liverpool City Council has unveiled plans to implement 11 art installations, each inspired by a different era of Swift 's career, around the city to entertain fans and locals alike from June 8 (Swift will be performing three shows at Anfield stadium between June 13-15.)

The UK leg of the Eras tour , which, it is estimated, will provide a £997 million boost to the UK economy, kicks off in Edinburgh on June 7 before travelling to Liverpool, Cardiff and London. The 'Fortnight' singer has already taken the Eras tour to five continents, but the Liverpool show will be the first time it will have arrived in England.

Liverpool City Council also confirmed that Liverpool One, Royal Albert Dock, the Metquarter and eight other locations across the city will also be decorated to reflect each of Swift's albums.

'If there was ever going to be a city that would go all-out with a welcome for Taylor Swift and the Swifties, it was bound to be Liverpool,' councillor Harry Doyle said.

Taylor Swift Just Responded To Reviews Of 'The Tortured Poets Department' In The Best Possible Way

TTPD has received almost unilaterally positive praise but some critics have been less than impressed.

Among the installations that Liverpool, which is the home of The Beatles and Atomic Kitten, has planned are an outdoor Evermore -inspired moss-covered grand piano, a Fearless -inspired mural incorporating the number 13 (the number of albums Swift has released) and a public 'red room' inspired by her bestselling album, Red .

The University of Liverpool will also host 'Tay Day', which it describes as a 'symposium for fans, students and academics to engage with the cultural phenomenon that is Taylor Swift'. It will take place on June 12 and will see academics from across Europe speaking on topics such as Swift's place in feminism. This isn't the first time that a city has embraced the 'Swift lift' that the star's tour has provided to local economies. In July 2023, Santa Clara proclaimed Swift an honorary mayor for the two nights she was playing in the city and renamed itself 'Swiftie Clara.'

Taylor Swift The Eras Tour UK: What to do and where to stay in each city

T he Eras Tour is set to sweep sequins across the UK from June – with that comes a swarm of Taylor Swift -centric tourism for four British cities.

With music from albums such as  Speak Now, Fearless  and her latest record , The Tortured Poets Society,  on the set list, superfan ‘Swifties’ are expected to flock to stadiums in Edinburgh , Cardiff , Liverpool and London for  the  concert of the summer – supported by rock band Paramore .

According to travel search company Kayak, there’s already been a significant increase in flight and hotel bookings to the three capitals and Liverpool. Data collected by the travel search engine found that flight prices have risen by an average of 38 per cent with hotel stays in the UK cities hosting The Eras Tour costing an average £365 per night during the concert dates.

In other ‘Swiftonomics’ news, data released by Barclays predicts that these shows will provide a £997 million uplift for the UK , and research from AirDNA, experts in rental data, said the concerts could add £9 million in cumulative revenue to the short-term rental market.

Here’s what to do and where to stay in each UK city to get your Eras Tour travel plans Ready For It – with plenty of Taylor Swift references to be found below.

Where are Taylor Swift’s UK tour locations?

Taylor Swift will take to the stage at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland’s capital for three consecutive nights from 7 June.

Perfect your concert moves with a Taylor Swift dance class in Edinburgh to  Shake it Off  like Miss Americana .  Fizz Box  hosts 90-minute private lessons, led by a dance instructor, year-round from £24.50 per person.

Where to eat

Just 10 minutes from the stadium, classy community gastropub Dine Murrayfield promises elevated menus featuring chicken breast burgers, steak frites and ice cream from the Isle of Arran that will never go out of style...

Where to stay

With a boozy  Taylor Swift karaoke brunch  running from 7–9 June to celebrate Swift in Scotland, as well as stylish suites and its own nightlife, Le Monde Hotel Edinburgh on George Street is more than just a boutique hotel for Taylor superfans.

It’s one night only for Swift in Cardiff at the Principality Stadium on 18 June.

Several  Swiftogeddon  club nights take over Clwb Ifor Bach in the build-up to the Welsh leg of The Eras Tour if you have a  Blank Space  in your diary or haven’t managed to secure coveted concert tickets. The Botanist is also hosting a  Taylor Swift pre-party  on its terrace, with Taylor tunes and themed cocktails.

For pre-Taylor tapas, before you sample music from 11 of her albums, visit Bar 44 on Westgate Street for glasses of sherry, croquetas and smoked chorizo in the shadow of the stadium.

The luxe  Parkgate Hotel,  just a stone’s throw from the Principality, has elegance, indulgence and a  Swift-themed feast  come 18 June. Think Swift-style Wildest Dreams cocktails and a three-course menu from £48 per person before the main event.

Anfield Stadium welcomes The Eras Tour for three nights from 13 to 15 June for Liverpudlian Lovers.

Hold on to your 22 hats, the northern city will transform into Taylor Town between 8 and 16 June with a series of 11 art installations, an academic conference and even Swift-themed craft workshops curated by Liverpool’s culture team to entertain Swifties.

Liverpool city centre is no stranger to both trendy bistros and cult street-food vendors. Try Mowgli Street Food on Bold Street for tantalising Indian small plates – any Bejeweled outfit is bound to fit right in with the fairy lights.

Hotel Anfield not only has modern, comfortable bedrooms within walking distance of Anfield Stadium, but a Taylor Swift Festival across the concert dates. Picture a Totally Taylor tribute act, street food, glitter art and friendship bracelets await Swifties for just £5 per person.

It won’t be a  Cruel Summer  for Swifties in the south, with performances set for 21–23 June and 15, 16, 17, 19 and 20 August at Wembley Stadium before Swift says so long to London.

A walking tour around the capital with Tours by Locals guarantees you’ll hit all the lyrical highlights of  London Boy , including Hampstead Heath Park, the food stalls of Camden Market and buzzing Brixton nightlife in true Taylor style.

To pregame The Eras Tour with plates of pasta, Pasta Remoli ’s homemade offerings of saucy sausage ragu and antipasti are an irresistible six-minute walk from Wembley Stadium.

At  Generator London , concertgoers can enjoy friendship bracelets, Lover cocktails and pre-Eras Tour “Swifty-Oke” on performance dates in the capital. There’s even a Taylor Swift booking code to get 10 per cent off your next stay and a playlist of Taylor tunes all night long.
