The new series has already begun, but with new episodes released every week there is plenty to discover about what's to come, including where the trio will be travelling later in the run.

The new series began on Friday 18th January 2019. However, the next two episodes are set to be a little different.

Normally new episodes of The Grand Tour are released every Friday. Episodes two and three however will be released back to back on Friday and Saturday in a two-part Colombia special. Read more about the special here.

Can I watch The Grand Tour if I don't have Amazon Prime?

The Grand Tour series three is currently exclusively available on Amazon Prime Video, Amazon's video streaming service . That means only Prime subscribers can watch.

Where is The Grand Tour filmed?

Filming began in early 2018. In March, Jeremy Clarkson posted a photo from DriveTribe (the trio's social media site) of a truck driving through snow, confirming in the caption that filming was underway.

The studio segments of series three were filmed in a tent in the Cotswolds , conveniently close to Jeremy Clarkson’s house.

However, as usual the trio have been a tad more ambitious with the filming locations for the non-studio bits. Mongolia and Colombia are the two highlights, but there are plenty more places to explore in the episodes ahead.

“We did a special in Colombia. It has a lot more to it besides Pablo Escobar, and we wanted to get that across,” Richard Hammond explained.

“It’s the most ecologically diverse place on Earth. Cartagena was my favourite place this series,” Clarkson agreed, although he also had plenty to say about Mongolia.

"In Mongolia we drove for six days using nothing but the compass and we didn’t see any evidence that Man had ever existed – not a person, a jet trail, a wall, nothing," he said. "All of Mongolia is covered in what looks like grass, but it’s actually rosemary, sage and thyme. As you drive, the smell is heavenly. The producers packed everything we would need for a week, without including any alcohol...”

Producer Andy Wilman has also disclosed that the trio had been filming in China , the USA , Azerbaijan and Georgia .

The Grand Tour series three will also feature three epic 'specials', in Colombia, Mongolia and Nevada.

What is going to happen in The Grand Tour series 3?

Back in June, Amazon released a picture of Jeremy Clarkson dressed as a mustachioed traffic warden while filming series 3, so we know there'll be some unusual cosplay involved...

On top of this, producer Andy Wilman did debut some footage from the series at the Amazon Prime Video's European showcase event in London at the beginning of October, which featured a clip of unlikely guest star Mary Beard, who was seen in conversation with Jeremy Clarkson.

They've also returned to their own test-track, fondly known by the trio as the “Eboladrome” because of its resemblance to the shape of the Ebola virus.

Producer Wilman explained that they felt they had to "live up to" the name The Grand Tour this year, and that he is "quietly confident about this one" – so we're expecting big things.

Is there a trailer for The Grand Tour series 3?

Yes, Amazon Prime Video unveiled a first look at the same time as the release date.

The new footage promises more of the same epic road trips that have become a hallmark of Clarkson series, including trips to Colombia, Mongolia, China, Sweden and Detroit.

At the end of the trailer Clarkson asks, "What is the budget for our show?" to which May replies, "Smaller than it was."

Will there be more of The Grand Tour after series three?

Amazon has confirmed that The Grand Tour will be back for a fourth series – but that there will be a number of changes when the show returns.

The new-look Grand Tour will focus on big road trips and specials, ditching the studio segments and not-always-successful celebrity interviews.

Amazon promises that series four will see the trio “take on big adventure road trips that fans around the world love”.

Clarkson recently told Radio Times that he had no plans to leave The Grand Tour , saying that "my head’s filled with enough ideas for five years.”

"I have no plans at all for after The Grand Tour," he added. "God, no. I never run out of ideas. Someone asked me, before this series, ‘What can you possibly do with a car that you haven’t already done?’ But my head’s filled with enough ideas for five years.”

When are The Grand Tour season 3 live shows filming?

Amazon released three dates for the studio recordings so far. They are…

• 31 October 2018
• 7 November 2018
• 21 November 2018
• 28 November 2018
• 12 December 2018

How do I get tickets to the live tour dates?

Tickets for the live tour dates, which are taking place in October, November and December this year, have been released intermittently on Amazon. The first batch of applications ended on the 12th of October, but tickets for the live dates on 28th November and 12th December have been recently made available - and can be bought here .

What is The Grand Tour Game?

The big news for the the new season is that there is going to be an accompanying game, as introduced by James May and Richard Hammond, half-naked from a pool in the YouTube video below.

"Basically, you can be us," James May says. "All the challenges and experiences we've had, only this time, you're driving."

It comes equipped with four player split-screen, meaning fans will be able to face off against one another, and it will be released in episodic format on Playstation 4 and Xbox One from the beginning of series three.

Pinot et Alaphilippe au centre de la 2e saison de "Tour de France: au cœur du peloton" sur Netflix

Les fans de cyclisme devront patienter jusqu'au 11 juin prochain, date de diffusion sur Netflix de la deuxième saison de la série documentaire "Tour de France: au cœur du peloton". En marge de la première bande-annonce dévoilée ce jeudi, Yann Le Bourbouac'h, l'un des producteurs, est revenu pour BFMTV et RMC Sport sur ce qui attend le public dans cette saison qui reviendra sur l'édition 2023 de la Grande Boucle.

Comme lors de la première saison, Netflix et les équipes de Box to Box ont suivi huit équipes pour ce documentaire, sur les 22 engagées dans la compétition. "L'idée, c'était d'aller plus loin dans les accès, dans les histoires et comme on a essayé de le faire en première saison: l'ambition est de faire une vraie série, en complément du direct de France Télévisions", a expliqué Le Bourbouac'h. "Mais cette série va faire le portrait de ces cyclistes, de tout le peloton, en allant chercher de nouveaux personnages par rapport à la saison 1, ce qui était important pour nous."

Déjà suivi lors du Tour de France 2022, Thibaut Pinot effectuait l'an dernier sa dernière participation à la plus grande épreuve cycliste du monde. Cette nouvelle saison a accompagné les adieux du grimpeur de la Groupama-FDJ, qui avait ému le public lors de la 20e étape, où ses supporteurs lui avaient réservé un bel hommage en effectuant un "Virage Pinot". L'émotion de son manager historique Marc Madiot sera aussi visible.

Tom Pidcock (Ineos Grenadiers) et Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) seront à nouveau au casting, tout comme l'actuel champion du monde Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck). Absent du Tour de France en 2022, Julian Alaphilippe était présent en 2023: le Français sera l'un des personnages de cette saison, avec en toile de fond notamment ses histoires avec son manager Patrick Lefevere. "On a une relation de confiance avec les équipes, qui nous permet de filmer là où on veut. On n'est pas là pour les piéger", a encore commenté Le Bourbouac'h.

La saison s'axera logiquement aussi sur le duel entre Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) et Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma), finalement remporté par le Danois. Netflix a pu travailler avec la formation du Slovène pour avoir des images. "La première saison nous a beaucoup aidé, ça a été un succès français et international", a indiqué Le Bourbouac'h. "On a pu continuer le dialogue, qu'on avait déjà avec UAE Emirates."

La série reviendra également sur les polémiques de l'édition 2023, entre les suspicions de dopage ou encore la frustration de Tadej Pogacar, bloqué en plein col au moment d'une attaque par plusieurs motos. L'émotion sera aussi au rendez-vous avec un suivi de l'équipe Bahrain-Victorious, qui avait perdu Gino Mäder, l'un de ses coureurs, décédé en juin 2023 lors du Tour de Suisse.

Le producteur a aussi balayé les critiques émises notamment par Jonas Vingegaard et Wout Van Aert, qui n'avaient pas hésité à pointer du doigt le montage. "On a dressé une opposition entre les deux, qui a existé. Quand ils ont parlé, ils n'avaient vu que les deux premiers épisodes, pas l'intégralité de la série", a regretté Le Bourbouac'h. "Notre boulot, c'est de dramatiser la série, ça on l'assume mais on ne dit jamais des choses qui sont fausses."

La saison 3 aurait logiquement dû suivre l'adaptation des romans de Julia Quinn . Celui-ci est centré sur Benedict Bridgerton, dont la sexualité interroge les fans. Pourtant, la production de Bridgerton a décidé de choisir un autre personnage central pour la saison 3 de la série : il s'agira donc de Colin et de son histoire compliquée avec Penelope Featherington, qui est normalement au cœur du quatrième roman de la saga.

Est-ce que Colin et Pénélope sont en couple dans le roman ?

L'action du livre se déroule des années après le mariage de Kate et Anthony, on sait donc déjà que ce saut dans le temps sera ignoré par la série. On sait notamment que Penelope, après avoir été taclée par Colin lors du bal des Featherington dans le dernier épisode de la saison 2, va être décidée à se marier. Sauf que tout ne va pas très bien se passer pour elle. Histoire de se racheter, Colin va lui proposer de l'aider à trouver un mari... et se rendre compte qu'il a peut-être des sentiments qui dépassent l'amitié pour elle . Dans le roman, Colin et Pénélope finissent mariés et, si on suit le livre, le grand secret de Penelope pourrait bien être révélé au grand jour dans cette troisième saison, mais rien n'est sûr pour le moment. Voici le synopsis officiel dévoilé par Netflix pour la suite de la série : " La troisième saison s'ouvre sur Penelope Featherington ( Nicola Coughlan ) qui a finalement renoncé à son amour de longue date pour Colin Bridgerton ( Luke Newton ) après l'avoir entendu tenir des propos désobligeants à son égard lors de la dernière saison. Elle a cependant décidé qu'il était temps pour elle de prendre un mari, de préférence un qui lui donnera assez d'indépendance pour poursuivre sa double vie de Lady Whistledown, loin de sa mère et de ses sœurs. Toutefois, comme elle manque de confiance en elle, les premiers pas de Penelope sur le marché du mariage se soldent par des échecs spectaculaires. Pendant ce temps, Colin, revenu de ses voyages d'été avec un nouveau look et de l'assurance à revendre, est désolé de constater que Penelope, la seule qui l'a toujours apprécié à sa vraie valeur, le snobe. Désireux de regagner son amitié, Colin propose à Penelope de l'aider à prendre confiance en elle pour trouver un mari cette saison. Pourquoi la saison 3 de Bridgerton fait parler avant même sa sortie

Le choix de la production de centrer la suite sur Colin n'a cependant pas fait l'unanimité auprès de tout le monde. Cette annonce a du mal à passer auprès des fans, dont certains estiment que la série a "tout gâché" en choisissant Colin. Ils pourront se consoler car la production a décidé de zapper une intrigue embarrassante à propos du couple, présente dans les romans, qui voyait Colin Bridgerton tomber amoureux de Penelope, des années plus tard, après une importante perte de poids de la jeune femme… Quand on vous disait que c'était un goujat ! Les fans sont tellement outrés que cette intrigue ait été choisie, au détriment de Benedict ou Eloise, que l'actrice Nicola Coughlan a dû leur rappeler qu'elle n'était pour rien dans ce choix , qu'elle faisait simplement son métier d'actrice. La nouvelle showrunner, Jess Brownell, a quant à elle répondu aux critiques sur le fait que cette saison 3 s'éloignait plus des romans.

Jeudi 11 avril, Netflix a enfin dévoilé la bande-annonce de la saison 3 de La Chronique des Bridgerton, permettant aux fans d'avoir un vrai aperçu de ce qui les attend. Comment Penelope et Colin vont-ils passer de l'amitié à la romance ? Colin torse-nu, regards en biais … Voici la réponse :

La saison 3 de La Chronique des Bridgerton n'a pas encore dévoilé tous ses secrets concernant les acteurs qui la composeront. On sait désormais que ces épisodes seront centrés sur Colin et Penelope, plutôt que sur Benedict. Les acteurs Nicola Coughlan et Luke Newton , qui incarnent le couple, sont apparus très proches lors de la promotion de la série. À en croire les propos de Simone Ashley , Kate et Anthony devraient quant à eux être de retour dans la saison 3 de La Chronique des Bridgerton. L'occasion de découvrir la vie de ces jeunes mariés. Jonathan Bailey , qui a vécu un rythme fou pour tourner ces épisodes en même temps que sa nouvelle série, a laissé entendre qu' un heureux événement serait même peut-être à prévoir pour le couple. Sur les premières photos de tournage des épisodes, les fans ont cru déceler un indice prouvant que Kate attend un bébé. L'occasion de découvrir la belle Kate en tant que maman ? La soeur de Kate, Edwina, ne sera cependant pas de la partie comme l'a confirmé Charithra Chandran en mars 2024. Après n'être apparue que dans quelques épisodes de la seconde salve, Francesca Bridgerton a disparu des radars en cours de route. Si elle devait initialement avoir un rôle bien plus important au sein de la saison 2, l'emploi du temps de son interprète, Ruby Stokes, a rendu cela impossible : l'actrice tournait la série Lockwood & Co qui a été lancée début 2023 sur la plateforme. Mais pas de panique ! Francesca reviendra bien dans la saison 3 de La Chronique des Bridgerton . mieux, elle sera encore plus présente dans ces nouveaux épisodes. En revanche, elle sera jouée par une nouvelle actrice : Hannah Dodd, vue dans la série Netflix Anatomie d'un scandale , reprend le rôle de Francesca Bridgerton. Daniel Francis (Stay Close) incarnera Marcus Anderson, "une présence charismatique qui illumine toutes les pièces dans lesquelles il entre". Pourrait-il être un prétendant potentiel pour Penelope ?
