Travelled from Brampton to this clinic because a vaccine my daughter needed for our trip was on back order all throughout the GTA. Could not find it anywhere. Luckily for me, this clinic had it in stock. Service was quick, thorough, professional. Dr was great with my 5 year old. Was expensive but I have insurance and all the vaccines are covered. Had a great experience overall! Thank you!

I graduated from Medical school in South Africa and moved to Canada 25 years ago. I have spent time working in Newfoundland and Saskatchewan doing rural medicine before moving to Waterloo 16 years ago. I have a passion for travel and coupled with my experience treating people with diseases like Hepatitis, Malaria and Tuberculosis in South Africa I decided to obtain the Certification In Travel Medicine from the International Society of Travel Medicine. For the last 16 years my staff and I have had the opportunity to provide practical information to many so that they may enjoy their travels.

Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) ,McMaster University. Department of Family Medicine Dr Dawood has been a Family Physician for 26 years. He trained in South Africa where he gained experience in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He has worked in Grand Banks, Newfoundland and Biggar, Saskatchewan for 10 years before moving to the K-W area 16 years ago. In addition to working in family practice, Dr. Dawood also works at Grand River Hospital in the Newborn-Paediatric Department. Dr. Dawood has also practiced at the K-W Travel Clinic since its inception.
