hong kong tour from singapore

Singapore is a small, diamond-shaped island country in Southeast Asia. With humble origins as a fishing village, Singapore has transformed itself into a dynamic, cutting edge city while still maintaining its historical and cultural charm. Singapore, having just celebrated 50 years of independence, is a young, vibrant country that has become a global economic powerhouse and a top destination for Americans traveling to Asia. Singapore's exotic landscapes contrast beautifully with stunning new sky-scrapers, ethnically diverse neighborhoods, a harmonious blend of cultures, verdant greenery throughout the island, and a mouth-watering food scene that leaves nothing to be desired.

hong kong tour from singapore

Hong Kong , spread out across an area less than half the size of Rhode Island, is one of the world`s most cosmpolitan, glittering, and exciting cities. British colonial influence and Chinese cultural influence come together to bring you one of the most unique and awe-inducing cities you will find in Asia. You can be in the heart of the city one minute and in less than an hour you can take a train and a cable car and be surrounded by lush greenery; this is but one thing that Hong Kong can deliver that many other city-states of similar size cannot.

Traditional Junk Boat At The Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong

Hong Kong Dollar

Capital City

Cantonese, English

Good morning

Good evening

"I'll show you the soul of Hong Kong, with a fascinating culture and cuisine mixed with the soaring skyscrapers and neon streets."

Travel Director

Admire the iconic views over Victoria Harbour

Against the backdrop of the dazzling city skyline, there’s a constant flow of activity in Victoria Harbour: from ferries and cruise ships to the colorful sampans, dotted between barges and freighters. Walk along the water’s edge to admire one of the most iconic skylines in the world, and don’t miss the spectacular Symphony of Lights that illuminates the cityscape every night.

Venture to Stanley Market

Get a taste of traditional open-air markets in the little seaside village of Stanley. Situated on the south coast of the island, the sea breeze brings about a more relaxed atmosphere than the grimy street markets. Still an iconic marketplace, Stanley Market is the perfect place to find authentic Chinese embroidery and calligraphy.

Visit the Aberdeen Fishing Village

Here, you’ll find tradition mingled with modernity down by the water. Sampans and Chinese junks, where the traditional boat-dwelling Tanka people still live, are juxtaposed against the million-dollar yachts moored by high-rise buildings. Take a sampan ride around the picturesque Aberdeen fishing village to visit the famous floating restaurants and seafood markets.

Try local seafood at the Goldfish Market

The Goldfish markets are a fascinating scene. Shops brimming with tanks of tropical fish and thousands of goldfish bags hang from outdoor stands. Get the full experience with a guided tour of the Kowloon market places where you can sample tasty seafood along the way.

Take a ride on the Ngong Ping cable car

Experience the sights of Hong Kong from above the hustle and bustle of it all in the panoramic Knong Ping cable car. Take the 20-minute ride up and away from downtown Tung Chung to the tranquil Ngong Ping Plateau, and enjoy the stunning 360-degree mountain views.

Our top 5 things to do in Hong Kong

You’ll never be short of things to do in this fantastic city. From its bustling harborfront to its quiet mountain plateaus, we’ll show you all the excitement that Hong Kong has to offer.

Lantau Island

Po Lin Monastery

Wander through the Lo Pin Monastery, a sanctuary of prayer and birdsong located on the peaceful Lantau Island. Originally founded by three Buddhist monks, what was once a humble stone hut and thatched chamber has dramatically evolved into a world-renowned monastery. Imbued with Buddhist symbolism, philosophy and architecture, it is a Hong Kong must.

A-Ma Temple

Constructed in 1844 to honor the sea goddess Mazu, the hillside A-Ma temple offers a glimpse into the island’s past as a small Chinese fishing village. As you climb the steps to the temple gates, guarded by giant lions known as the “Foo Dogs”, you’ll find yourself immersed in a world of bright color and incense smoke, burning from the daily offerings.

Hong Kong Museum of History

The Hong Kong Museum takes you through an astonishing 400 years of history. The building itself is a testament to traditional Chinese architecture, siheyuan, and inside the exhibitions cover everything from the Opium wars to Japanese occupation and local folk culture. For the Bruce Lee fans, there’s an entire gallery dedicated to the martial arts legend.

Best museums in Hong Kong

Underneath the cosmopolitan shimmer of skyscrapers and modern architecture, Hong Kong is a city steeped in history and heritage. Our Hong Kong guided tours will take you to extraordinary museums and monasteries to discover its traditional roots and Chinese antiquity.

Cantonese for “touch your heart”, dim sum is as much about community as it is pork buns. Classically shared at breakfast and lunchtimes between families, friends and colleagues, the exhaustive menu offers over 2000 tiny bites served from piping hot bamboo baskets. No Hong Kong trip is complete without this quintessential dining experience!

Char Siu is unofficially considered the national dish. On almost every corner, you can find a hole-in-the-wall eatery with this delectable dish on the menu. It’s a simple preparation of sticky barbequed pork, cooked over an open fire and served on a bed of rice with a dark salty-sweet sauce.

After a long day of walking, nothing fills the belly quite like a hot pot of sizzling chicken soup. It’s a historic Chinese dish with a Hong Kongese 2-step version: first, a hot pot of stir-fried chicken, then a burning broth with fresh veggies and herbs tossed in. Make sure you get extra crispy soy rolls to soak up all the flavors.

Best food in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a food haven, from smoking street food and downtown eateries to Michelin star restaurants with world-class views. Amongst the hot pot of eastern and western flavors, we’ll share the local specialities you cannot miss.

What to pack for Hong Kong

People packing for a tour

Pack for sustainable travel

Consider your environmental impact when you next take a trip and go single-use-plastic-free by packing a reusable water bottle, a steel straw, your own shopping bags and refillable toiletry bottles.

Hong Kong offers many unique photo opportunities. Take a good camera to capture the iconic city skyline and the busy life in the market places.

A phrasebook

While most local people speak excellent English, it’s always nice to learn a little of their language. Take a phrasebook (or download an app) and try your hand at a bit of Cantonese for simple things like ordering food.

A rain jacket

Hong Kong is notorious for its rain, no matter the time of year. Always be prepared with a rain jacket in your backpack so you can keep exploring the city, even in the wet.

Dress shirts

With plenty of high-end restaurants on offer, you might want to pack a fancy dress shirt, so you fit in during a classy night out on the town.

Good walking shoes

The transport can be a little expensive in Hong Kong, so save some HK and explore the city by the sidewalk. Good walking shoes will also come in handy for all those temple steps, and mountain walks on your Hong Kong tour package.

Singapore is proud of its heritage, with countless ornate Chinese, Hindu and Buddhist temples. Due to its melting-pot of cultures, Singapore is best known for its Chinese, Indian and Malay-inspired food; these are best enjoyed at hawker centres and traditional street markets scattered all over the city. For a more luxurious experience the lavish colonial-inspired Raffles Hotel serves authentic Singapore Slings at the Long Bar. Singapore is a shopaholic’s nirvana, from the flagship designer boutiques on the famous Orchard Road to the colourful street markets in Chinatown.

No trip to Singapore is complete without a visit to the dazzling Botanic Gardens which include the exotic National Orchid Garden. In Gardens by the Bay walk along suspended walkways between huge tree-shaped vertical gardens and see the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at the Cloud Forest. The mythical Merlion statue is half lion, half fish and is a must-see when visiting the city. The Singapore Flyer observation wheel offers stunning panoramic views over the city and overlooks the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix circuit.

Hong Kong’s heritage and culture is like no other in the world, with tradition standing side by side with modernity. The floating community of Aberdeen with its old-fashioned sampan boats contrasts with the towering skyscrapers that line the harbour. On Lantau Island the Po Lin Monastery is the hub of Buddhism in Hong Kong and is home to an enormous seated bronze Buddha.

Shop to your heart’s content with speciality shops selling Chinese silks, tea and herbal medicine, glamorous high-tech malls and traditional street markets with stalls laden with trinkets. One of the world’s top culinary destinations, Hong Kong’s cuisine is constantly evolving, from traditional Cantonese fare to intricate fusion dishes.

Highlights of Hong Kong and Singapore

In Aberdeen modern skyscrapers overlook rows of traditional junks, sampans and house boats where fishermen and their families still live. Aberdeen Harbour is where the British first set foot on Hong Kong, when Aberdeen was the heart of the incense trade, and today it is a busy harbour home to the boat-dwelling Tanka people. Aberdeen is also famous for its floating seafood restaurants serving traditional Chinese and modern fusion dishes, including one of the world’s largest floating restaurants.

Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island and can be reached by the Peak Tram, one of the world’s oldest and most famous funicular railways. Enjoy 360-degree views of Hong Kong’s skyscrapers and Victoria harbour from The Peak Tower and the viewing platform at Sky Terrace 428, or there is a charming lookout at the Lions View Point Pavilion with a lovely Chinese pagoda and gate. At night time the views are just as spectacular with the skyscrapers all lit up and amazing light shows to enjoy.

Singapore’s Sentosa Island has transformed into an exciting resort, best known for its tropical beaches and exhilarating attractions. Adventure lovers will enjoy flying high over the island on southeast Asia’s steepest zip wire, or a thrilling day out at Universal Studios. For a more relaxed experience there is Singapore Butterfly & Insect Kingdom, and one of the largest collections of aquatic animals in the world at SEA Aquarium. Along the southern coast of Sentosa Island several soft sandy beaches offer a tranquil getaway.

Stanley Market is one of the most popular open-air markets in Hong Kong. The magical maze of winding lanes is home to an array of little shops selling silk garments, ornaments, Chinese costume jewellery and souvenirs. Restaurants throughout the market offer authentic Hong Kong delicacies. Close to the market is historic Murray House, a restored colonial building set on the waterfront that houses the Hong Kong Maritime Museum.

Lantau Island is almost as twice the size of Hong Kong Island and comprises mainly natural parkland with superb beaches. The remote Po Lin Monastery is one of Hong Kong’s most important Buddhist sanctuaries and sits opposite the magnificent Tian Tian Buddha statue. In the ancient Tai O fishing village the Tanka community have built their houses on wooden stilts over the water for generations.

Once home to Singapore’s Chinese immigrant population, today Chinatown is home to historic temples, colourful Peranakan shop-houses and some of the country’s oldest places of worship. Culture lovers should visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, the iconic Jamae Mosque and the Hindu Sri Mariamman Temple which was built in 1827. The Chinatown Complex Food Centre is a great place to try local dishes with over 200 stalls serving everything from chilli crab and laksa noodles to the popular dessert ice kachang.

A peaceful sanctuary in the heart of the city. the UNESCO-listed Singapore Botanic Gardens are a haven of tropical greenery. Its Bonsai Garden is filled with miniature trees, the Healing Garden is full of medicinal plants and the rare primeval rainforest is home to over 300 species of Singapore’s spectacular flora. The National Orchid Garden boasts the world’s largest orchid display, with over 60,000 plants and orchids, including Singapore’s national flower, the Miss Joaquim orchid.

Gardens by the Bay is a colourful futuristic park dominated by the iconic Supertrees which offer an impressive skywalk over the gardens. Covered in plants and flowers, these vertical gardens come alive at night with a mesmerising light and sound show. Exotic plants from all over the world are showcased in the Flower Dome, whilst in the mysterious Cloud Forest admire the 35 metre tall indoor waterfall. Several artworks grace the grounds including the extraorindary sculpture Planet which seems to float above the lawn.

Orchard Rd was once lined with fruit orchards, nutmeg plantations and pepper farms, and today it is world-famous as a glamorous shopping destination. The wide avenue is lined with cutting-edge megamalls and flagship designer boutiques. ION Orchard is a stylish architectural wonder made of glass, steel and marble whilst Tangs, established in 1932, was Singapore’s first department store; its distinctive Chinese-designed exterior houses a modern Asian lifestyle store popular with international visitors.

Singapore’s steamy Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is a 163-hectare area of primary rainforest rich in tropical foliage. Its forest canopy shelters some of Singapore’s native wildlife including long-tailed macaques, pythons and monitor lizards. The visitor centre explores the ecology and biodiversity of the reserve with interactive exhibitions as well as a display of two Sumatran tiger replicas, a tribute to the majestic creatures that once roamed the reserve.

Discover Singapore's transformation from a sleepy fishing village to a metropolitan powerhouse. We'll hop aboard a traditional bumboat and sail to Merlion Park, home to the magnificent fountain shaped like the park's mythical namesake. We'll take in the beautiful views of Marina Bay before continuing to the Civic District. Here, we'll wander boulevards lined with historic buildings, and walk along Orchard Road, a chic shopping avenue and the beating heart of Singapore's glitzy commercial center. At the National Orchid Garden, we'll explore the garden's 60,000 plants and keep an eye out for the country's national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim. After lunch at a local bistro, we'll return to our hotel with the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

This morning, we'll enjoy a special orientation after breakfast before beginning our tour of some of Bangkok's outstanding Buddhist temples. The mile-square palace grounds contain the greatest concentration of Thai art and architecture in the country, including the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Day 5: Bangkok

floating market thailand

Early this morning we'll leave for the Mae Klong Railway Market. Next, we'll drive to the colorful floating market of Damneon Saduak where we'll watch merchants sell food, produce, baskets, and more from their boats. Before we return to Bangkok, we'll stop at a sugar palm farm where we can sample the local area's delights. We'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant as we make our way back to Bangkok with the balance of the day at leisure. Consider joining an optional street eats tour by tuk-tuk!

This evening, we'll walk to a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 8: Hong Kong

Testimonials.

@Ms. Margaret Tok

We would like to compliment one of the tour leader from SA tour - Rachel - the tour leader for the Europe Trip. Rachel has been very professional and helpful and knowledgeable and her flexibility to adjust the itinerary has reduce a lot of waiting and travelling time for us. The itinerary was well paced with nature and city scene. There is never a perfect itinerary that suits all of us but I personally feel that a tour leader plays a important part in ensuring we had a enjoyable trip and we are indeed blessed to have Rachel and the group we travelling with to make our trip a very enjoyable one. Personally it was since 10 years plus that I join a group tour. There was some unpleasant experience I had with one of the SA colleague which commented that I was being unfair to him in a email that was sent to my friend. It does started me with a bad note and I start to wonder whether did I make the right choice? However it turns out to be a pleasant trip and the credit goes to Rachel. Nowadays it is difficult to find loyal and staff who work with passion and SA is blessed to have Rachel as their staff. I am in service line and I know it is not easy as there is ups and downs. I am sure SA tours will continue to be popular with good word of mouth from customers through the service from the good tour leaders( including Rachel) Last but not least ,Thank you to SA Tours. Thanks again to Mickey and Carol too for replying to my emails too.

@Mr. Felicia Pei Ting

I would like to thank Miss Winnie Woo for her help in planning a wedding proposal on our Dream Cruise holiday from 11-16 Feb 2018. We were planning to go on Royal Caribbean initially, however decided on Dream Cruise after Winnie’s strong recommendation. She explained to us how Dream Cruise will be more suitable for our lifestyle - such a Penfolds bar, Johnnie Walker bar and also the high restaurant standards. This shows that she is very observant and patient to understand our needs. As she knows that my friend was going to proposed on Valentine's Day, she suggested we book the dinner with Mark Best. And on 11 Feb, she even called to reconfirm the arrangement for us again. Luckily, she did that as the restaurant did not remember when I went to check earlier in the day. I’m very impressed with her! On 14 Feb, the four of us were even more surprised when we walked into our friend’s room with decoration! She went the extra mile to her Dream Cruise to do it for my friend. And the proposal was very impressive and successful! I must say that this makes me want to book more holidays with SA tour as I know the consultant is so considerate and dedicated to take care of us. Once again, a big thank you to Ms Winnie Woo!

@Ms. Celina Low

Following our recent tour Guangzhou Family Fantasia 24 Dec-1 Jan, I would like to compliment your staff for their excellent professional services. Mr. Louis Lee is a very dedicated and organized tour leader. He did everything to ensure our safety, fast free check-in, luggage and meals that leave us to enjoy with a peace of mind. His cheerful, enthusiastic and thoughtful nature kept us in a happy mood so much that we bonded a strong friendship. Together with Mr. Jin our China tour guide, they shared general knowledge of places, tips on where, what to do and eat. From their sharing, I myself as an avid photographer, discovered a lot of nice interesting sceneries. Mr. Lee is definitely the best tour guide I have met so far and I am looking forward to explore China by joining his tour group again. Also, not forgetting the courteous friendly Mr. Kenneth Tan, who did our booking. Despite near closing time, he took the time to explain and answer our queries well. The trip to China was splendid. Many thanks for creating good memories. Kudos to you guys!

@Mr. Lee Loon Yang

Hi, My parents and I have joined SA Tour's 14D European Treasure Trove (EETT14) from 3-16 Dec 2022. We are very grateful to Cyril for all the assistance that he rendered to my family and me throughout the trip. My parents are elderly (age 67 and 72) and compared to other tour members, needed more time to walk and help with luggage. At Jungfraujoch, I was impressed that Cyril prepared sweets and ginger to help all tour members gain the energy to adjust to the high-altitude effect as well as reminded us regularly to walk slowly and be careful of the slippery surfaces. Cyril's care and concern for the safety and comfort each member has been prevalent throughout the tour. At each hotel, Cyril has done his best to accommodate needs of the families travelling together (swapping rooms where necessary) and helped everyone with our heavy luggage such that any inconveniences were kept to the minimum. My family has been travelling to Europe for several years before Covid so we are familiar with the long distances expected in the itinerary and are cognisant that we will only be staying for a short time in each city. This is my third visit to Italy and my mother's second visit; visiting Sistine Chapel at Vatican City during each trip. Through our description of Sistine Chapel, my father (a devout Christian) was looking forward to visiting it at the Vatican City during this trip to Italy (his first visit). We realised that the visit to Vatican City did not include Sistine Chapel while we were waiting to enter the St Peter's Basilica. My father was distraught and kept saying that he really wanted to visit the Sistine Chapel once in his lifetime and at his age, he may have a chance to return to Italy again. Cyril heard my father saying this and explored with the local tour guide on how we can fulfil my father's wish to visit Sistine Chapel though my mother and I were explaining to my father that we should just continue with the tour itinerary in order not to inconvenience the other tour members. As we are in Rome on 14 and 15 Dec (15 Dec was a free day), it may be possible for my family to return to Vatican City to visit Sistine Chapel on our own on 15 Dec before meeting the tour group at the airport. After discussion with Cyril and the local tour guide, we decided that the best approach would be to skip the next leg of the walking tour in Rome (14 Dec) to Colosseum and go to Sistine Chapel (next to St Peter's Basilica) while we are still in Vatican City. We will catch up with the tour group at Trevi Fountain. As the local guide is with our tour group throughout the walking tour and will take care of the safety of 17 members, Cyril quickly brought the 3 of us to the entrance of Musei Vaticani to get tickets before he ran back in the rain to catch up with the tour group at the Colosseum. We went for a short route to Sistine Chapel and took a taxi to Trevi Fountain to meet the group within 2 hours to continue our walking tour to Spanish Steps. Cyril could have left the 3 of us to locate the entrance of Musei Vaticani on our own (which I offered) and stayed with the 17 members of the tour group and the local guide on the walking tour. Cyril went with us because it was raining the entire day and he was concerned about whether we can locate the entrance in time, particularly with my elderly parents. At the same time, the local guide was with 17 members of the tour group ensuring their safety while Cyril quickly caught up with them; drenched in the process. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to Cyril and the other members of the tour group to fulfil my father's wish. Weighing the options, this approach caused the least inconvenience to the rest of the tour members. It meant a lot to my family that Cyril made the extra effort to fulfil my father's wish to visit Sistine Chapel in his lifetime. My family and I have joined many packaged tours over the past 14 years. We know what a tour leader would typically do in a packaged tour. From this trip after Covid, we also saw that many things changed in Europe. Cyril has struck us as a tour leader who went above and beyond the typical role of the tour leader and went through hardship (carrying heavy luggage up flights of stairs at hotels) to ensure the safety and comfort of tour members. My parents and I would like to express our deepest appreciation for Cyril's assistance during our tour to Europe from 3 to 16 Dec 2022. We seek SA Tours' assistance to convey our appreciation to Cyril and recognise his good performance during the tour. Thank you.

Dear Sir/ Mdm, Hope this email serves you fine and well. I am a customer of yours for the European 14D European Treasure Trove from 3 Dec 2022 to 16 Dec 2022. I will like to take this opportunity to thank my tour manager Mr Cyril Sheng for the great experience that he has given me and my wife for the honeymoon holiday. Firstly, Mr Cyril Sheng has been very accommodating and very detailed in his daily itinerary planning for the whole trip. There were many requests put up during the trip by many passengers on an adhoc basis. Without any hesitation, he has been in the forefront to take care of all our needs and wants within the time limit. He has paid detailed attention to an elderly couple who wanted to pay their respects in the 16th Chapel whilst he ensured that we are safe in the hands of the local guide. He went the extra mile to reach our next destination on foot after bringing the couple which is admirable. Mr Cyril has also showed the care and concern for all his passengers. Since my wife and I are on a special diet of vegetarian and having fish and eggs, he ensured that we are served the right food at all times. This is an admirable character of his. What touched me was he came over to all his passengers including us to ensure the right food is served. When some of the fellow passengers changed their dietary requirements, he went the extra mile to change without any complaints. This is the star quality that we see in him. In addition, when my wife needed to go to the toilet as she was not feeling well, without much hesitation or complaints, he directed the bus captain to detour to show care and concern. He also checked in twice on the same day to see if she was fine and checked in again the next day. This is something that I have not seen in other tour manager in other agencies. In Switzerland, whilst other tour managers in other groups only brought their passengers up, Mr Cyril has gone the extra mile to buy sweets for passengers to have sugar and go up the mountain. This was on his own accord. He ensured all passenger young and old were fine throughout the journey. When an elderly passenger was not well,he rushed to help her and assisted the family. He also spent his own money to get doughnuts for his passengers. I am also amazed that Mr Cyril Sheng went the additional mile to carry all the luggage for his passengers. He smiled and helped all of us. This is really admirable in him. I hope you would take this opportunity to praise him for his hard work and effort. Any complaints against him is something that you can dismiss against. Please do call me if you need any clarification. Thank you. Regards, Mr Prem Ms Kalphna

@Mr. Jason Tan

Hi SA tour team, I am currently on 14D11N EUROPEAN TREASURE TROVE trip with Cyril Sheng from 03 Dec to 16 Dec. The thing about going on a trip and especially on a tour is to be accommodating with each other and not put in tough and unreasonable requests to tour guide. Cyril was the complete opposite of the worst. He puts in his best effort and goes all out to assist each and every member in the tour. He’s nothing short of being an excellent tour guide. I hereby put in my testimonial to him and I will continue to support SA Tours. Warmest Regards, Jason Tan

@Ms. Eunice Chua

Dear SA, Happy New Year 2023! Hope this finds you well. I meant to write earlier but was busy traveliing and celebrating the festive season. This a belated thank you to Keith Ng who was Tour Leader on my trip to Hokkaido 1st to 8th December. He looked after us very well. I was particularly impressed with his caring attitude and he conscientiously helped me throughout the tour. Please pass my compliments to Keith for a job well done during our tour. The group was also appreciative of his attention and commitment. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday and I will certainly consider SA Tours in the future.

@Mr. Samuel Lee & Emely

To the Management of SA Tours, I have just returned from the Hokkaido Package 8 days tour from 11 to 19th of May on the Scoot Flight Package.I would like to mention something today that is on every leisure traveller’s dream to have a pleasant and memorable trip just outside my usual business travels. When we landed in Sapporo , we were greeted with a 60 ?year old tour guide ( Tao yu , BEI ZI ) and my first impression was what can this lady do for the 8 days continuous journey that we are going to embark on while most of the time, I would expect a 30 to 40 years plus tour guide are the usual ones with the appropriate energy to carry us all the way throughout the comprehensive journeys . I saw even at the first meeting she was pretty tired , stunned and wear out. I was literally not expecting any potential exciting tours ahead. After the 8 days , I was totally wronged and what I witnessed was that Bei Zi has brought us the tour group to an exhilarating , entertaining , knowledge riched journey and most importantly with great sense of humour that bombarded us till we are totally impressed with her experience and skills of a well rounded tour guide. Her style of organising the tour schedule was kept detailed and meticulously carried out the proposed events with utmost responsibility to ensure everyone is safe and understood the message she tried to deliver. Never had I and my wife came across such dedicated and professional attitude that she carried with her to ensure that the tour group members broke ice on friendship quickly and allow us to find common ground together through her lively humour and simplistic philological understanding about how we should appreciate our life both by leading simple, happy and a meaningful life. It’s really a 5 stars quality. I would like to also comment on the professionalism displayed by Rachel ( SA ) who has to juggle between 2 travel groups while keeping pace with the tight schedule moving from one hotel to another and it is no joke considering we are changing hotels every day. She brought snacks to ensure that we are in good mood and continue to keep us well informed on the day’s schedule. Her bilingualist ability was able to put into good use. She is very kind, gentle and understanding. Last but not least, another commendable person we would like to thank is Hirasawa San, the perfect and meticulously dressed driver who makes our journey seamlessly safe and given strategically challenging driven coach routes that only experience and passionate driver can execute. The coach is too clean that we felt guilty eating some snacks inside the coach. Many thanks to SA tours, and very lucky to have such great people like BEI ZI , Rachel and Hirasawa San, who I hope will continue to upkeep great standards of tour guided packages offered. Once again, thanks to wonderful people like BEI ZI that makes my holiday so worthwhile not just on beautiful sceneries alone but we certainly make great pleasant friends along this nice and memorable journey. I wish everyone best days ahead , till we meet again.

@Ms. Sara Goh

Hi, I was one of the group members for the 9D8N Zhangjiajie from 6 to 14 Apr 2024. Our tour guide was 小黑 (王坤). I would like to pay special compliments to him for his professionalism and dedication. He was able to understand the dynamics of the group and was capable to take good care of the different age groups. He was not over zealous and very protective of us. We felt safe travelling with him. It could be due to his sincerity that there was such good cooperation and understanding amongst the members. I would love to have someone like him as the tour guide if I were to visit China again. His heart is in the right place. I would appreciate it if you could assist to let him and his company know of our deep appreciation for him. Thank you. Best regards Sara Goh

@Mr. Daryl Sim

Dear Sir/Mdm I would like to give the following compliment our tour group leader and foreign tour guide for our SA Tour trip to Zhang Jia Jie. My tour leader Richard was very helpful and approachable throughout the trip. He is always staying behind the whole group to ensure that we do not lose our way, or head towards the wrong direction. He helps to look our for the elderlies in our group. He is always prompt to help us when we approach him for certain enquiries, like if there is any place to get food near our hotel etc. He is attentive to details, on the night when we took a train to Guangzhou, we were at the wrong gate. However, Richard was quick to notice the details and guided us to the correct gate, if not we would have missed our train to Guangzhou. I am very grateful and thankful to have him as my guide. Our foreign tour guide, Xiao Hei (Wang Kun) was very knowledgeable with the places we are visiting. He explains and shares interesting stories about the places we visit. He is always waiting at the bus door to help everyone get down the bus, like he held on to our hand as we alighted from the bus. When 2 members from our tour group had no appetite for food as they are not feeling well, Xiao Hei asked the restaurant to prepare green bean soup for the 2 members, and when the restaurant staff explains that the green bean soup was not inclusive in the set that was ordered, he forked out his own money for the green bean soup. Throughout the trip, he always buys oranges and stuffs using his own money to treat us even though he did not need to do so. When a few of my family members were not feeling well, I approached Xiao Hei to ask him to help me order some Yakult and Isotonic water for my family. When the items arrived, he refused to collect the money from me. It is hard to come by tour guides like him. Please acknowledge receipt of my email and convey my compliment to Xiao Hei and his company. Thank you.

@Mr. Sim Lee Hiang and Han Luan Fong

Dear Sir/madam, My tour guide Richard is a nice and approachable person. Despite of the initial issues caused by his colleague, Esther (who sold us the package), he managed to resolve the problems to the best of his ability. We are thankful to have Xiao Hei (Wang Kun) as our local guide in China. He is a very organised person. He has good knowledge of history and is engaging and entertaining. He speaks clearly and fluently. He also takes good care of us.

Prepare for an adventure through three of Asia’s most iconic cities: Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong. Among the most modern in the world, each still perfectly maintains an aromatic blend of historic sites, traditional culture, and food that has been simmering for centuries.

You’ll begin your adventure in Tokyo, a place so deliciously different from what we know: cherry blossoms framing a silhouette of Mt. Fuji, sushi and ramen, karaoke and kimonos, a place so deeply rooted in process and tradition yet so welcoming of the future. And all coalesce into a perfectly preened bonsai tree for the inquisitive traveler. Then, continue on to Singapore, a city state that warmly embraces the kaleidoscope of peoples that call the country home. This melting pot has left a lasting impact on the vibrant culinary scene, one of Southeast Asia’s best. Futuristic attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands have enhanced the city skyline. However, the country still retains its charming, temple and street-food laden neighborhoods. Finally, explore Hong Kong, a truly cosmopolitan mélange known for its glorious harbor, excellent shopping, renowned restaurants, and perhaps the best nighttime skyline in the world.
