• 2:00 PM: Mumbai team will be Provided Mumbai to Pune and return Cab/ Volvo Bus Transportation. They will Join the Pune Team at Wakad by 7:30 PM and Start the journey together towards Gokarna.

Pune (Via Tempo traveler):

• 6.00 PM:  Report at Fergusson College Main Gate, FC Road (Opposite Starbucks) 
• 6.30 PM:  Pick-ups from Wakad Flyover, Sukhwani Petrol Pump

Bangalore (Via Volvo bus):

• Pickup as per Volvo pickup points starting the night at 10.00 pm.
• Breakfast halt, freshen up, and change.
• 11:00 AM: Reach  Yana Caves .
• You will have to trek 500 meters for Yana Caves to witness its unique rock formations, Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and Mohini Shikhara. These massive limestone rocks amid lush forests offer a stunning backdrop for trekking and religious activities.
• 12:00 PM: Head towards Gokarna.
• 01:30 PM: Have lunch at Gokarna and check in to stay hotel.
• 03:00 PM: Get Freshen up and Head to  OM Beach , and explore the beach. You can take a ferry ride on which you can spot  Paradise Beach, Half Moon Beach, and Moon Beach.  (Ferry costs 300 per person at own cost).
• Later  Trek to Kudle Beach , one of the most happening beaches in Gokarna.
• Here you can enjoy  Watersports like banana boat rides, parasailing, and jet-skiing . (At own cost). 
• Watersports might be closed during Monsoon or High tides and can only be performed during daylight.
• As the sun starts to set, it's time to have some fun, hop into a cafe, eat or drink or just chill as there is nothing else left on today's itinerary, expect you to have all the fun *Wink Wink*. (Last order 10 PM)
• 11:00 PM: Back to the Hotel for the night's stay.
• 06:00 AM: Wake and freshen-up
• 06:30 AM: Visit  Mahabaleshwar Temple,  If there is a huge queue we might have to visit it from the outside.
• Please remember there is a dress code for Mahabaleshwar Temple, girls have to wear Saree or Kurti Pajami fully covered. And boys have to wear a lungi without a T-shirt.
• 08:00 AM: Have breakfast and checkout from the Hotel
• 10:00 AM: Reach  Mirjan Fort , you will find it similar to Augada Fort in Goa. Live your low-budget "Dil Chahta Hai" moment in Gokarna.
• 11:00 AM: Leave from Mirjan to Honnavar. This is going to be another long ride of two hours.
• Reenergize yourself with glucose or coconut water as we still have two more spots to cover today.
• 01:00 PM: Arrive in  Honnavar for Backwater Boating,  Here you will go for an hour-long boat ride through Mangroves. Experience a  unique boating experience  at  Honnavar  in the  Sharavathi River.  This ride will make you feel you are in Kerala.
• 02:30 PM: Later proceed to Murudeshwar. It will be a half an hour's drive.
• 03:00 PM: Have a late lunch at Murudeshwar.
• Later visit  Murudeshwar Temple  and  2nd Highest Shiva Statue.
• Dinner at Murudueshwar
• Return to our property, overnight stay in Gokarna.
• Early morning depart towards Dandeli for Watersports and Adventure.
• Enjoy watersports such as River Rafting, Kayaking (Own cost), and Zip-lining (Own cost), Zorbing (Own cost), Boating (Own cost)  at Kali River. (Please note River Rafting Activity is subjective to water flow and water level on that day)

• Post dinner, it is time for bed.

Day 2: Gokarna Beach Trekking

• Rise and shine for we start our journey to Gokarna today after a healthy breakfast.
• Gokarna calls for beach hopping, which starts with Om Beach followed by a trek to the Rock of Peace.
• With the sun setting over the horizon, we head towards Gokarna Main Beach for café hopping.
• Dinner is followed by an overnight stay at Gokarna.

Day 3: Mirjan Fort- Boat Ride at Honnavar Backwater

• Wake up to a beautiful morning by the sea and to a ravishing breakfast.
• With a fulfilling breakfast, First on the list is the Mirjan fort built by Queen Chennabharadevi, which stands as an icon of battles and British colonialism.

How to reach

Dandeli  is an ideal weekend getaway in north  Karnataka  for those who love nature & water activities. The town is surrounded by thick forests and rich vegetation where rare animals and birds roam in deep valleys and hilly terrain. On the banks of the  Kali river , Dandeli is truly a fascinating mix of wildlife, scenic beauty, and adventure sports.

Each activity above costs between 100 to 350 INR. White Water Rafting costs approx. 600 rupees. We have a window to enjoy whichever watersports you wish to do based on their availability at that time. You may avail of these sports directly by paying cash over there.

Life jackets will be provided for all the activities.

**Important notes on rafting:

• The status of White Water Rafting – whether it will happen or not – will only be announced by  Forest/Dam authorities  on that morning.
• No travel company can promise it beforehand 100%.

Adding to the excitement – the most famous destination in Karnataka. –  Gokarna . There are famous Beaches like  Om Beach  and  Kudle Beach . Interesting thing is, there are also a few more beaches that can only be reached by trek like  Paradise Beach  and  Half Moon Beach . These Beaches are separated by hills covered with forest. One has to climb up the hill, trek through the woods, and reach the next beach. Sounds exciting, eh?

Taking a dip under the chilling fresh mountain water of  Vibhooti waterfalls  is so rejuvenating. There’s something magical about waterfalls that will refresh your senses and instantly make you happy. A visit to  Yana caves  in the thick rain forest is equally thrilling.

What to Expect

Day 0 - journey begins.

• Start from Bangalore, an overnight journey

Day 1 - Dandeli Adventures

• Reach the adventure town of Dandeli, check in to our beautiful private property campsite away from the town, with facilities like tents, clean washrooms, dining area, campfire/music zone.
• Note: Sometimes because of travelers of previous day, our check-in time may be delayed as tents are not yet prepared for us. In the meantime, we will freshen up. Around 9 to 10 AM we might be given tents.
• Freshen up and fuel up with a really heavy Breakfast
• Drive to the adventure land on the banks of river Kali, and indulge in day-long water activities. The special discounted price of water activities is mentioned in the overview of this trip.
• Come back to the campsite for late Lunch.
• (Time permits) We will explore one optional place near Dandeli and spend some time in a serene environment.
• Chill out at the camp in the evening, freshen up.
• Bonfire at night with long conversations. Your trip leader will organize group activities. You may also chill out and have your me-time.
• We shall play our music, sing, and dance under the open sky
• Well-deserved hot dinner both veg and non-veg
• Rest in your assigned tents.

Day 2 - Vibhooti, Yana

• Wake up call at 6 AM, quick freshen up, have breakfast, check out of our camp, and start our journey towards Western Ghats.
• Head out to take a dip under magnificent Vibhooti waterfalls. There is a change room close to the falls. The ice-cold water will refresh your senses. There is even a natural pool if you know swimming. For non-swimmers, there are lots of rocks to sit on and shallow water overlooking the falls.
• Have a basic (self-sponsored) lunch at a local restaurant. Note that there are not many options for good food at this remote location.
• Explore Yana caves in the dense forest. We have to trek 3 km on a broken road to reach the caves. Sometimes there are open-top jeeps dropping people up and down. You may take one of them if you don’t want to strain yourself too much.
• Drive towards the west coast, reach Nirvana private beach campsite.
• The captivating setting of our campsite right next to the beach will excite and thrill you. You will fall in love with the place the moment you see it.
• Freshen up in the neat and clean bathrooms.
• We will lighten up the bonfire, play music under a starry night
• Have a delicious dinner.
• Social gathering till late at night and chill out.
• Take well-deserved rest, good night!

Day 3 - Gokarna Beach Trek

• Wake up to the fresh morning breeze and birds chirping on the private beach
• Freshen up, have breakfast, check out of our camp, and start our journey towards the beach trek base point.
• Trek path: Belekan beach > Paradise beach > Devil’s Hell beach > Half-moon beach > Om beach.
• Chill out and have leisurely Lunch at one of the shacks at Om beach
• Freshen up in shower rooms of Om Beach after playing in the water.
• Time permits, some of you can visit Gokarna Temple along with the flea market late in the evening.
• Start back towards Bangalore.
• Have dinner at a restaurant/dhaba on our way back.
• Overnight journey.

Day 4 - Back home!

• Reach home in the morning.
• Share your beautiful experience of Gokarna Beaches, Dandeli Adventures trip with friends and family.

• This trip involves  basic facilities  in terms of food, travel, and stay without any luxury, whatsoever.
• This is a group trip with shared model. It may not suit everyone – especially for those expecting privacy and comfort. It best suits for people who wish to  socialize .
• Please do not book this trip if you are not okay with above points.

• A lightweight large Backpack for the trip (no suitcase, no trolley).
• A small backpack for water activities (to carry a water bottle, change clothes, towel, etc).
• Photo identity proof with address (Aadhar/Passport/Voter ID).
• Poncho or rainproof jacket with a hood (from June to September).
• Shorts, T-shirts for water sports (in winter/summer).
• Cap/Hat/Sunscreen (to avoid getting tanned big time).
• Sunglasses (to keep your eyes fresh).
• Power bank, charger, camera (if you wish to).
• Proper water bottle for your trip. You may fill at our campsites.
• Disposable garbage covers (To separate used/unused, dry/wet clothes).
• Good grip sandals or shoes for the treks (Gokarna and Yana).
• Your personal medications, if any.
• Pair of water wear to take a dip in the river/sea.
• Carrying a handwash/sanitizer/tissues will help during the trip.
• Carry your jerkin/sweater – Dandeli can get cold at night as its close to the forest.
• Carry a lil bit of cash for meals that are self-sponsored and for misc. expenses like drinks and shopping.
• Don’t carry expensive items. You are responsible for your own belongings.

What's next after booking your trip?

• A Whatsapp group shall be created on the trip day and Vehicle & Trip Leader details will be shared.
• It is mandatory to share your personal information with the team along with a copy of your government approved ID card.
• You will need to share your co-traveler(s) details if you have booked more than one seat.
• Live location of the vehicle will be sent in the group once it starts at the first point.

Terms & Conditions

• The itinerary is fixed. No special requests to change itinerary/schedule shall be entertained. Do not give advice(s) to the Trip Leader(s) to change the itinerary.
• Cooperate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part that is traveling.
• Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
• Do not wander into the forest away from the designated trail for treks. There may be snakes, scorpions, and dangerous animals.
• Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, landslides, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, etc. In most cases, if the time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
• Absolutely no littering. We swear to protect our environment.
• No alcohol & smoking during travel, treks, and other outdoor activities. There would be a separate window and space (usually at night) to have these at the campsite/homestay for interested people.
• Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics, and religion/caste/race.
• Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s), and/or involving in the physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by the group then and there.
• The event will stand canceled if less than 8 travelers signed up for the trip/trek which will be informed 24 hours before the trip start time.
• Every traveler is expected to sign a liability/waiver form given by the organizer(s) after boarding the vehicle. This liability form will discharge Muddie Trails of any unexpected incident like injury/death/theft etc.

Cancellation & Refund

Cancellation by traveler.

• 80% refund/100% postponement if you inform about your cancellation before 48 hours of the event start time. An email has to be sent to [email protected] to raise a cancellation request.
• No refund/postponing is allowed within 48 hours of the event start time whatever is the reason (Health, Accident, Covid, Family crisis, Office issue, or anything else).
• No refund/postponing is allowed for partial payment – booking fee – which is done to book your slot.
• No refund during/after the event.

Cancellation by Muddie Trails

Muddie Trails may decide to cancel the event if there are less than 8 travelers signed up for the trip/trek.

What if we don’t get the minimum number of people for the trip? We have 2 options in this case: Option 1: Complete refund. Option 2: Switch to any other trip of the same weekend or future weekends. The difference amount will be collected from you or paid back according to the new trip cost.

Cancellation due to external factors

Muddie Trails may have to cancel the event in case of external factors that are beyond our control like Natural Disasters, Extreme Weather Conditions, Red Alerts, Political Disturbances, Bandh/Curfews, Local Issues, Road Blocks, Train cancellations, Covid-19 or any other disease outbreaks etc.

In these scenarios:

• No Refund is allowed.
• 100% trip amount can be used for any other new trip of the same weekend or future weekends. The difference amount will be collected from you or paid back according to the new trip cost.
• Once you confirm your participation on the new trip, all the above Cancellation policies will apply for the same.

Dandeli Gokarna

Pickup & drop, overview & highlights.

Start from Bangalore on 29th Dec at 07:00 PM.

Reach Dandeli by 09:00 A.M.

Check-in to the camps and freshen-up.

Post breakfast we will go for an adventurous white water rafting in the turbulent rapids of Kali river.

The adrenaline gush from navigating these rapids is an unmatched experience.

Have a delightful lunch and involve yourself in various activities amidst the nature.

In evening we will bond over a bonfire night followed by Dinner.

Wake up with the sound of nature and post breakfast we will leave for Gokarna – a hippie coastal town. Not wasting any time, we rush out to explore some of the best off-beat beaches of Gokarna.

Starting From Belakan, we trek through the forest to reach the Paradise beach. Paradise beach is famous for being secluded, serene and for its calmness. Paradise beach is almost covered with rocks which makes some of the picturesque spots for photography on this land. It does not stop here!

Post Paradise beach, we take a beautiful trail to reach the Half Moon beach. Fun fact: The half-moon beach is only accessible via hiking and is commonly known as traveller’s paradise.

From this paradise to another, we hike to the Om beach. Again, named after its shape, the Om beach is shaped as the letter “om”. The beach is dotted with hippie style cafes and is known for its sunsets.

We will end our trek at Kudle and leave to our resort, freshen-up and ready for a Pool Party night at the resort on the new year’s eve!

Wake and post breakfast we will leave for Vibhuti waterfall.

Surrounded by lush green forests, Vibhuti waterfall is a hidden gem, healing our minds with its gushing sounds.

Hopping from one location to another we will reach Yana caves, situated in the 2nd cleanest village of India.

These caves are rich in both beauty and mythology.

In evening head back to Bangalore.

You reach home with a backpack full of amazing memories, stories and experiences.

“ Jaisalmer Trip 18-Dec Wanderon After a fabulous first experience with WanderOn at Spiti, I went on another expedition and this time it was deserts at Jaisalmer. Commute, stay and travel was very well organized. ACCOMMODATION Desert Stay: We were put up at Country Side Resorts at Sam Dunes and the tent stay was a memorable experience. The room was tidy, bed was comfortable and the washroom was clean and almost as big as the room (I ain't complaining ) Indian food prepared in local style was served. Food was decent, though it won't satisfy your taste buds if you are looking for delicious Rajasthani cuisine. However, Pakoda and garam Chai served on a chilly night was a winner! P.s. carry some food if you are picky. There aren't many options around. City Stay: Hotel Bansuri was located in city center and was a comfortable place to stay. “ New Year Trip - Jaisalmer A big step taken this year to go for a solo trip for the first time. I had this fear of what will happen if I go solo, will the people around be good or not, I might get bored all the time and the list goes on and on (till the very last minute before the buses left). At a distance of 31 km from Dandeli and 16 km from Ulavi, Syntheri Rock is monolithic granite structure with a height of 300 feet, which is located in the dense forests of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of the top Dandeli tourist places to visit. Syntheri Rock is a huge, massive limestone rock formed due to volcanic eruptions some million years ago. It is named after an English lady called Ms. Cinthera who is believed to have discovered this place in 20th century. River Kaneri passes along the side of this rock. Owing to the flow of the river from the vicinity, erosion has resulted in the rocks getting hollowed. The corners of this rock cave are inhabited by numerous pigeons and honeybees. Entry to the venue is controlled by forest department. The site can be reached either by jeep or by walk through the dense forest from the entrance. At a distance of 1 km from Ganeshgudi Bus Stand and 23 km from Dandeli, Supa Dam, built across River Kali, is situated in Joida taluk of Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. This is one of the largest dams in the Karnataka and also one of the well-known Dandeli places to visit. This dam is built to manage the water of Kalinadi River to provide irrigation facility to the surrounding area. The construction of the dam started in 1974 and ended in 1987. The dam was built by Hindustan Steel Works Construction Limited (HSCL) and is now operated by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited. The power house was commissioned in 1985. The name of the dam is derived from Suparulu (God of forests). The height of the dam is 101 m from foundation level and the length is 332 m. It has a catchment area of 1057 sq. km and 145 TMC live storage capacity. Three radial gates of size 15 x 10 m are provided to regulate the flood discharge.
