The 15th Century brought upheaval to Prague in the form of religious conflicts between the Catholic and Hussite Church, before the city evolved into a center of science and alchemy in the 1700s, earning it the nickname 'Magic Prague'. The name holds up today, albeit for slightly different reasons: music, art, beer, and historic monuments abound. In short, Prague boasts some of the finest architecture and most beguiling history that any visitor could hope to encounter.

A few landmarks are impossible to miss for any visit to Prague: lined with statues of thirty saints, the 14th Century Charles Bridge crosses the River Vltava and links the Old Town to the Lesser Town, whilst the enormous astronomical clock on the Old Town Hall has been keeping time since 1410. Also unmissable is Prague Castle, which dates back to the 9th century and boasts the record for the world's largest castle complex. But some sights are easier to miss, and are best enjoyed with the expert guidance of a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.

Our bike ride will take you round  the Prague Castle gardens situated in the Prague’s  Hradcany district and earlier where the rulers of Bohemia resided, currently the head of state stays there. This is only possible only with our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides and on our quality city/mountain bikes. Big Bike Tour is the combination of our 2 tours: Panoramic & Castle Bike tour and Classic City Bike tour. We start our ride along the Vltava River, up to the most beautiful parks and panoramic vistas of Prague, visit Prague Castle and finish in the city centre, passing Old Town, Jewish quarter and stopping by some of the most important places and monuments like National Theater, Dancing House or John Lennon wall... The tour lasts about 7 hours and is divided in two parts with a 1,5 hour break for a traditional Czech lunch and relax time. SAFETY: At Praha Bike, your safety is our priority! Our quality bikes are well-maintained, comfortable and made for riding in Prague. The tour moves at a comfortable pace so that everyone can enjoy the sights. Our well-planned routes manage to avoid tourist crowds and high traffic areas. We stay on side streets, bike paths and ride in green area and parks. Helmets are always recommended but are not obligatory for those over 18 y.o. (in accordance with Czech law). 

REQUIREMENTS: Guest must be able to ride a bike, no training is provided except how to control breaks & gears on bicycle or e-bike.

Lance Armstrong retired from cycling more than a decade ago, but the 7x Tour de France champ is still competing, and winning, emerging victorious in his age group in a grueling race in New York City over the weekend!

52-year-old Armstrong competed in HYROX NYC -- a global fitness competition that blends a bunch of different (and really hard) movements/exercises -- including running, rows, burpees, sandbag lunges, sled pulls, and much more.

And, in the near 90-degree NYC heat ... borderline torture! 😄

Lance finished the competition in 1:12:05 ... nearly 4 1/2 minutes in front of the next guy in his age group.

We even got some video of Lance from fellow competitor, Mark D. LoBiondo , from Ironbound Performance gym in Jersey City.

Age groups aside, Armstrong finished in 94th place out of 892 competitors in the men's open division.

With the impressive performance, LA also qualified for the HYROX World Championships -- where the top athletes from events around the world come together to compete.

The first place finisher in the men's pro division was Jake Dearden with a time of 58 minutes and 12 seconds. The world record for the HYROX Men's Open is 50:38 minutes.
