Which ‘Captain America’ Girl F**ked Steve Rogers: Natalie Dormer, Laura Haddock, or a USO Dancer?

'Love Lies Bleeding' Is Secretly the Best Hulk Movie So Far

'abbott elementary's showrunners knew josh segarra was the perfect manny: "we wanted someone who felt very warm, but also a little suspect", how to watch the marvel movies in order, marvel shocker: studio realizes they need to make tv shows for television.

Disney+ ‘s latest MCU series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law finally reveals a major secret about none other than the O.G. Captain America himself, Steve Rogers ( Chris Evans ). In She-Hulk ‘s series premiere, Jennifer Walters ( Tatiana Maslany ) is determined to get her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) to reveal if Steve Rogers died a virgin. It’s a question that has dogged the fandom for years: did the wholesome and shy Steve Rogers get laid before he was trapped in ice for almost a century? Was “America’s Ass” ever tapped? And it’s not just fans who want to know; Natasha Romanov (Scarlett Johansson) also tried to pry some information about Steve’s sexual history in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

While Bruce Banner does his best to keep his buddy’s romantic history on lockdown, in the mid-credits scene for She-Hulk “Episode 1 “A Normal Amount of Rage,” Jennifer sneaks the truth out of him. She pretends to be drunk and distraught over the fact that a hero like Captain America could have died a virgin. Hulk can’t take it anymore and says, “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour.”

Not only is this huge, but it’s MCU canon. In a recent Variety interview , She-Hulk showrunner Jessica Gao said, “not only was Kevin [Feige] on board with answering the question…he supplied me with the canon answer.” Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has officially confirmed that Steve Rogers has f*cked! Even Chris Evans reacted to the news that Steve banged a broad in 1943, by tweeting three laughing emojis followed by one with the mouth zipped up.

😂😂😂🤐 #SheHulk — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) August 18, 2022

However the revelation in She-Hulk that Steve Rogers lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour begs another question: whom did Captain America lose his virginity to? Can we find the woman who served her country in this extraordinary way in the 1940s set MCU film Captain America: The First Avenger ? And is the woman in question none other than Natalie Dormer’s flirtatious, horny lieutenant?

Whom did Captain America f*ck in 1943? Well, it seems there are three possibilities, and none of them are Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell)*.

* You know, because Peggy was in Europe fighting the war while Steve was shilling war bonds in America with the USO.

Did Natalie Dormer's Lt. Lorraine F*ck Captain America?

captain-america-natalie-dormer

When you think of girls Steve Rogers kissed in Captain America: The First Avenger who aren’t Peggy Carter, Natalie Dormer’s Lt. Lorraine is the person who immediately springs to mind. After Steve bravely saves Bucky (Sebastian Stan) and the rest of the soldiers captured by HYDRA, he is feted as a hero. No one goes harder in their thanks than Lt. Lorraine. She sees Steve and immediately corners him behind a shelf to make out with him. Hard. Peggy sees this, which causes a rift between the two soulmates.

Dormer’s splashy MCU cameo came during the limbo between her work as Anne Boleyn on The Tudors and playing Margaery Tyrell on Game of Thrones. She immediately popped, though, as her character seems to give Steve his first canonical kiss.

However now that we know that Steve got laid during the USO tour in 1943, we know that’s not true. He had been kissed. And more. Just offscreen.

Natalie Dormer does not play the woman who boned Captain America for the first time. We know this because she meets him in Europe after he leaves the USO. Hence, it is not her. It was someone he would have met earlier on that fateful USO tour…

Did Steve Rogers Hook Up With a USO Dancer?

captain-america-uso-girls

When you hear that Steve Rogers specifically lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour, the obvious conclusion is that he must have hooked up with one of the many dancers he was touring with. After all, night after night, he was performing, traveling, and hanging out backstage with a bevy of beauties. It’s worth noting that most of the eligible bachelors at this time would be overseas fighting, so these ladies might have been especially “hornt up” backstage and Steve would be the obvious object of their attentions.

However there are two issues with this. One, it’s not really fun or compelling to think of Cap’s first time with one of the literally nameless girls in the chorus. These women are wholly interchangeable and are never seen interacting with Steve offstage. Two, are we positive that Bruce confirmed the girl in question was a USO dancer?

Consider the sentence structure at hand. Bruce says Steve lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour not Steve lost his virginity to a girl on the USO tour in 1943. “On the USO tour” is used to describe the time period Steve’s wangfest happened, not the woman in question.

So, yes, it could have been one of the nameless beauties on the USO tour, but Captain America: The First Avenger gives us one fleeting glimpse of a romantic encounter Steve had canonically at this time… with “Autograph Seeker.”

Did Steve Rogers Lose His V-Card to Star-Lord's Mom?

captain-america-laura-haddock

In the middle of the Captain America USO montage, Steve meets a beautiful blonde asking for an autograph and she briefly takes his breath away. It’s a tiny beat within the larger story of Cap’s time as a star-spangled government fundraiser, but it’s clearly important for some reason! Now that we know he lost his virginity at this time, this moment feels bigger. Is this the moment of Steve’s sexual awakening?

I’m inclined to think if there’s one girl we can safely assume is the one Steve lost his V-card to, it’s the single woman he has any romantic spark with during the Captain America: The First Avenger USO montage. The sexily named “Autograph Seeker.”

Fun fact: the role of “Autograph Seeker” was played by Laura Haddock. She would be cast again in the MCU as Meredith Quinn, Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt) mother. This isn’t the first time the MCU has double-cast actors in two separate roles. Alfre Woodward played different characters in Luke Cage and Captain America: Civil War and Gemma Chan appeared in both Captain Marvel and The Eternals. However, it is funny to think that Captain America hooked up with Star-Lord’s mom. The MCU is smaller than we think!

So, barring the revelation that it was some random USO dancer, let’s just say this pretty all-American girl got more than just a signature from Steve Rogers.

Marvel Confirms When Chris Evans' Captain America Lost His Virginity

Captain America virginity She-Hulk

The love lives of the biggest heroes have always been a major player in the superhero genre, and that has always been represented in the MCU. Spider-Man has MJ, Tony Stark has Pepper Potts, Thor has Jane Foster, and Captain America has Peggy Carter, but the road to get him to the love of his life was anything but smooth.

After Steve Rogers found himself frozen in ice and fast-forwarded to the present, the legendary hero lost out on his chance to get the dance he had been waiting for with Carter. During his 12-year tenure in the 21st century, Rogers' only known romantic encounter before returning to the past to live out his life with Peggy was a strange one-off kiss with her niece Sharon during  Civil War .

But that has left many to question whether Rogers ever lost his virginity before going back to live out his days with Peggy, and that topic has particularly come back to light with the arrival of  She-Hulk: Attorney at Law . Not only did a clip from the series see Jennifer Walters questioning Bruce Banner on the raunchy topic, but head writer Jessica Gao revealed she was given the true answer .

Steve Rogers Virgin She Hulk

Now, Marvel finally revealed when Steve Rogers lost his virginity during the series premiere of  She-Hulk .

When Did Captain America Lose His Virginity?

Jen Walters, Bruce Banner

Warning - The rest of this article contains spoilers for  She-Hulk: Attorney at Law  Episode 1

During the premiere episode of  She-Hulk: Attorney at Law , Captain America's virginity status proved to be a common topic of conversation between Bruce Banner and Jennifer Walters.

Prior to the car accident that led Walters to absorb Banner's gamma-infused blood, the She-Hulk-to-be proposed that "Captain America was a virgin."  Walters noted that, as per the History channel, Steve Rogers didn't have a girlfriend before being frozen in ice, and proved to be "pretty busy" after coming out as he went from "world-threatening disaster to world-threatening disaster."

Jen Walters, Bruce Banner

Despite this debate cutting short, a post-credit scene finally answered the question of Rogers' virginity status during a drunken conversation between the Hulks. Banner revealed Rogers "lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour," leading Walters to expose that she was sober the whole time and declare "Captain America f***s,"  with the episode cutting before the cuss finished:

Walters: "Steve Rogers did so much for us, and he never got to experience sex. And did you see that ass? Like that ass did not deserve to die a virgin. It's like so sad." Banner: "Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour." Walters: "Yes! I knew it." Banner: "You're not drunk?" Walters: "Captain America f***s."

Captain America trilogy writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely recently offered their own opinion on the matter in an interview with Yahoo Entertainment's  Kevin Polowy . McFeely was always certain that "if you look like that" and are "going city to city" signing autographs as he was in  The First Avenger 's USO tour, then it would surely happen:

“I think he loses his virginity! Why do people think he's a virgin? I think if you look like that, and you're going city to city, and you're signing autographs the likes of the ladies he's signing autographs for, I've got to imagine that [he would have lost his virginity].”

Markus also made clear that "he is not a choir boy, he's a World War II veteran," and that Rogers "isn't a prude" even though he may often be presented that way:

“And the thing to remember is, Steve Rogers isn't a prude. He may be occasionally presented that way, but he is a guy who believes in right and wrong and all these things, but he is not a choir boy, he's a World War II veteran.”

So Peggy Carter Wasn't Captain America's First?

Jen Walters, Captain America Virgin diagram

Many may be disappointed to hear Peggy Carter wasn't Steve Rogers' one and only lover, but the revelation he lost his virginity during the USO tour makes far more sense. After all, Rogers was tall, jacked, and Captain America, the all-American hero. So, there's no doubt he would have had plenty of offers during the months he spent touring the States followed by a troop of attractive dancers.

Unfortunately, the identity of Rogers' lucky lover will likely never be revealed as she could be literally any woman who attended his shows or danced alongside him across America. But the obvious would be Laura Haddock's "Autograph Seeker," as she was credited, who approached Rogers after one of his shows during  The First Avenger .

Haddock also played Star-Lord's mother Meredith Quill in  Guardians of the Galaxy , leading many to question Gunn whether the "Autograph Seeker" could be the grandmother of the galactic hero. Director James Gunn has since joked about that being the case but insisted no connection was intended, shutting down theories on the topic .

Laura Haddock MCU Guardians of the Galaxy The First Avenger

Still, Star-Lord's grandmother potentially being the woman Captain America lost his virginity to is a truly hilarious thought that only brings further to light the connectivity of the MCU. One can only imagine the interaction that could have led to if the two had two crossed paths when the Guardians joined the Avengers in the fight against Thanos.

With  She-Hulk  having already unraveled one mystery that fans didn't know they wanted the answer to, one can only imagine what's to come from the rest of the season. Perhaps Bruce will offer answers to more questions regarding the Avengers' personal lives in the coming episodes, the possibilities are endless.

Chris Evans himself has since reacted to the show's inclusion of the theory, keeping his comments short and sweet .

The first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law  is streaming now, exclusively on Disney+.

Marvel has ended fan speculation about if and when Captain America lost his virginity prior to returning to the past to find his true love Peggy Carter – a decision the superhero played by Chris Evans makes at the end of Avengers: Endgame .

In an episode of the new Marvel series She-Hulk : Attorney at Law , it’s confirmed that Captain America, aka Steve Rogers, lost his virginity on a USO Tour, at least according to his buddy The Hulk, aka Bruce Banner (played by Mark Ruffalo ).

Evans, who has played Captain America across 12 separate Marvel films, reacted to the revelation on Twitter with a string of emojis, including the laughing-crying face and the “my lips are zipped” emoji.

The information was revealed as part of a mid-credit sequence on She-Hulk , which premiered Thursday (18 August) on Disney+.

In the scene, She-Hulk, played by Tatiana Maslany , makes the case to her cousin Bruce Banner that Captain America was too busy saving the world to have sex, effectively baiting him into violating his old friend’s privacy by correcting her: “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour” – referring to free concerts and events sponsored by the United Service Organisations for members of the American military.

Evans isn’t the only MCU actor to react to the shocking news.

Jameela Jamil , who plays the supervillain Titania on She-Hulk , responded to Evans’ tweet with a string of skull emojis.

Evans recently made headlines talking about his own quest for love while promoting his Netflix film The Gray Man .

How and why 'She-Hulk' finally answers one of the MCU's biggest questions: Is Captain America a virgin?

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

It’s a question that has been debated by Marvel fans for years: Is Steve Rogers ( Chris Evans ), aka Captain America, a virgin?

Considering that as a young man, Rogers was frozen in ice for six decades, then plunged immediately into action in a years-long battle for the fate of humanity, true believers theorized (obsessed over?) the idea that Cap didn’t have sex until he stayed in the past to grow old with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) following the time-hopping climax of Avengers: Endgame .

As it turns out, those obsessives include Jen Walters ( Tatiana Maslany ), the self-aware star of the new Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law , which Marvel finally, shockingly, gives us a definitive answer.

Walters is seen at the start of the series’ first episode, which premiered Thursday, amusingly rambling on about it to her cousin, Cap’s fellow Avenger Bruce Banner ( Mark Ruffalo ), in the lead-up to a fateful car crash: “He goes from world-threatening disaster to world-threatening disaster. That’s when he’s not a fugitive from the law. So it seems like he was pretty, pretty busy,” Jen says. “Obviously, Captain America was a virgin.”

Bruce is seemingly annoyed by a conversation that’s implied they’ve had many times before. But in the episode’s end credits scene, he actually clears the record.

“Steve Rogers is not a virgin,” Bruce, as Smart-Hulk, tells an “emotional” Jen, believing she’s intoxicated, as they drink outside his isolated Mexican lab. “He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour.”

“Yes, I knew it,” Jen, who had been faking her inebriation, replies. “CAPTAIN AMERICA FU—!”

We only get the first sound of that last word (Marvel still isn’t allowing F-bombs, at least not until Deadpool formally crosses over), but we all know what she says.

Twitter reacted with appropriate delight Thursday, including Evans himself , who shared a few crying-from-laughing emojis as well as a zipper-mouth face.

Ruffalo, meanwhile, facetiously apologized : “Sorry bro. It was under extreme duress.”

Sorry bro. It was under extreme duress. — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) August 18, 2022

In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment last weekend, head writer and executive producer Jessica Gao explained why the half-hour comedy took on Rogers’s sex life for its big debut.

“That's just a question that I think a lot of people who watched Marvel movies had,” Gao tells us. “So many of these questions [in the show] about things that happened in the MCU are a result of just real conversations that we in the writers’ room have had with our friends or amongst each other. And that’s something a lot of us talked about in the writer's room: It would just be such a shame that one of the greatest men ever, with that hot ass, could go to his grave having never felt the loving embrace of a woman.” (In case you missed it, Gao is referencing another Marvel in-joke: the quality of Rogers’s backside, which in Endgame was dubbed “America’s ass.”)

Why #SheHulk takes on Captain America's virginity, according to head writer / executive producer Jessica Gao #hardjourrnalism pic.twitter.com/dvvUNuSwp4 — Kevin Polowy (@djkevlar) August 15, 2022

In a separate interview with Variety , Gao says the She-Hulk team cleared the gag with the head of the studio himself, Kevin Feige, who actually provided them the official company answer.

“I can’t describe to you how thrilled and shocked I was that not only was Kevin on board with answering the question, that he supplied me with the canon answer,” she said. “That is straight from Kevin’s golden mouth.”

Tatiana Maslany weighs in on #SheHulk 's Steve Rogers virginity reveal. "This is why a show like this exists. We're finally getting to the hidden truths of the MCU." pic.twitter.com/KepK9Vt3Bm — Kevin Polowy (@djkevlar) August 18, 2022

Maslany was not previously familiar with the brouhaha over Steve’s sex life. “I thought that was just Jen’s brain, and I love that there are a whole group of people who are Googling this,” she tells us.

“This is why a show like this exists. We're finally getting to the hidden truths of the MCU."

Before having that conversation in the writers’ room, we’re wondering if She-Hulk ’s creators saw our interview from 2021 with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely , the screenwriters of all three Captain America movies, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

For Captain America: The First Avenger’s 10th bday, I talked to writers Markus & McFeely about things like the hot-button issue of Steve Rogers’ virginity. They are emphatic Steve lost it on that USO tour in First Avenger, which I believe is now canon. CC @ChrisEvans #Hardnews pic.twitter.com/LfYc0zDmJD — Kevin Polowy (@djkevlar) July 22, 2021

“I think he loses his virginity!” McFeely reacted emphatically when we asked if they ever considered showing Rogers with a woman in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger . “Why do people think he’s a virgin? If you look like that, and you’re going city to city, and you’re signing autographs for the likes of the ladies he’s signing the autographs for, I gotta imagine that [he lost his virginity].”

“And yeah, the thing to remember is Steve Rogers isn’t a prude,” Markus added. “He may be occasionally presented that way. He’s a guy who believes in right and wrong and all these things, but he’s not a choir boy. He’s a World War II veteran.”

Markus and McFeely, it turns out, were right all along.

“And I’m gonna say it right now,” Markus added dryly. “We shot it. We filmed it. We have it.”

Maybe that comes in She-Hulk ’s season finale.

She-Hulk 's Captain America Virginity Theory Originated With Chris Evans

captain america 1943 uso tour girl

By Anthony Breznican

The opening of She-Hulk created an immediate sense of deja vu: Tatiana Maslany 's Jennifer Walters is on a road trip with her cousin Bruce Banner (played by Mark Ruffalo ) when talk turns to his old Avengers colleague Steve Rogers, and her giddy speculation that Captain America never lost his virginity.

After covering Marvel movies since the beginning of time, I realized: I've had this conversation before . But it was years ago. And it was with Chris Evans himself.

Before getting to that, here's how She-Hulk addresses the question that has become a prime topic of discourse among Marvel fans:

“Okay, so … back to what I was saying before. My theory,” Walters says during a flashback to the big, green lawyer's origin story. She is driving on a winding mountain road, while Banner groans and rolls his eyes. She begins, as all lawyers do, by laying down a foundation of evidence: “Steve Rogers did not have a girlfriend before he went into the service.”

“Says who?” Banner asks.

“The History Channel,” she answers. “So he becomes Captain America, and from that moment on he's a symbol of America. He is rushed to the front lines, he becomes a war hero, then he is frozen in ice. Based on everything you've told me, after he gets un-frozen, he goes from world-threatening disaster to world-threatening disaster. That's when he's not a fugitive from the law. So it seems like he was pretty, pretty busy … Obviously, Captain America was a virgin!"

This last line is interrupted by the arrival of a Sakaaran spacecraft (we can all relate) that forces them off the road. But later, in the post-credit scene, Walters is still pushing her theory, weepily lamenting to a now-Hulked-out Bruce, “Captain America did so much for his country, and he never got to experience sex.”

A frustrated Hulk blurts: “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour.” (Obviously, he and the other Avengers brought this up to their friend at one point, elucidating this explanation.)

A relieved Walters pumps her arms in the air. “I knew it!” she declares. “Captain America fuc—!” The show cuts off the last word midway.

The sex lives of superheroes is not necessarily the most sophisticated topic of conversation, but you could see it as a side effect of Marvel's success in making fans care so deeply about these characters. She-Hulk is especially adept at taking the things fans talk about with each other and putting those sometimes bizarre conversations on screen.

The subject of Steve Rogers' virginity—and its explanation—happens to have been addressed long ago, on the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2014. And Evans brought it up to me himself.

We were talking about Captain America's relationship to his closest friends— Anthony Mackie 's Falcon, Sebastian Stan 's Winter Soldier, and Hayley Atwell 's Peggy Carter—and how time and his own sense of responsibility keep breaking those connections.

“Cap puts what he wants last. That's his M.O. And I think for so long he just refuses to bleed on people. So it's hard to explore a guy who doesn't want to make waves with his own personal conflict. He's always trying to help the greater good. That's why it's kind of exciting to look forward to Cap 3,” Evans told me.

”I think there's just so much to explore. Not just with the evolution of myself and Mackie's character, but the reconnection with Bucky and ultimately a relationship with a woman. It'd be nice to see him—it's funny when you think about it. He's probably a virgin. He's probably a virgin! I don’t know when it would've happened.”

I noted that when Rogers became a super-soldier, his first mission was to travel the country raising money for war bonds with the USO. “He was on tour,” I said.

“He was on tour. Maybe, that's true,” Evans said. “Maybe one of those [dancing] girls blew his mind.” He laughed, and added: “He's probably just a good guy. He was probably holding out for Peggy Carter and he's probably a little more old-fashioned in that sense. These are a lot of things that I think are giant conflicts, but they're also very personal conflicts. He's a very human guy. That's why I like him.”

Back then, it was just speculation. Now, thanks to She-Hulk, it's official: Steve Rogers, f———!

She-hulk's first post credit scene answered the biggest question about captain america and everyone flipped out about it, share this article.

SPOILER ALERT:  Everything that follows below is about the post credit scene from She-Hulk episode 1. If you haven’t watched it and you’re interested in watching it, please go watch it before you read this.

“CAPTAIN AMERICA FUUUUUU-.” And there we have it, y’all. We finally have our answer.

For years and years and years, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been discussing one thing: Whether Captain America was a virgin or not . This has easily become one of the most divisive (and hilarious) debates about MCU canon.

We know Cap spent his post-freeze years mostly defending the world. He didn’t really have time to settle into any love interests. We think maybe there was a spark there with Natasha Romanov. And, clearly, there was something there with Sharon Carter — the niece of the love interest he left behind in the past.

But it’s pretty clear he never knocked boots with any of them. So if not then, when?

Well, we’ve got an answer, folks. She-Hulk just gave it to us.

ROGERS DID IT, Y’ALL. Apparently, it was with someone on a 1943 USO tour back in his heyday. Not sure who it was or when it happened, but apparently he told Bruce Banner that it actually happened.

Shouts to Jen Walters and her savvy legal skills for coaxing Banner into admitting this. And also shoutout to her for giving us this.

She-Hulk Episode 1 Reveals A Very Personal Fact About Captain America

Captain America looking up

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand on Disney+ , with Tatiana Maslany transforming into Jennifer Walters for "She-Hulk." She's the latest hero to join Kevin Feige's grand tapestry of costumed crusaders, and the first episode wastes no time in giving us a revamped version of her origin story — where a Sakaarian ship causes Jennifer and her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), to swerve and crash their car. It isn't long before Jen undergoes a gamma-induced transformation and has to figure out a way of balancing her newfound strength with her legal career.

Head writer Jessica Gao recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about how "She-Hulk" lends itself to the comedy genre. "Everybody loves the big spectacle — all the action operating at a level that you don't see anywhere else — but what's special about TV is that you have the time and the space to really just live with a character and see everyday life," she explained. "I want to know what's happening on a Tuesday when the world isn't in danger. What happens when a 6-foot-7 green woman has to buy a business suit for court?"

Because the stakes are much smaller in and around Jen's office, it allows the characters to have a little more fun compared to the multiverse shenanigans of "Loki," or the debate over the Captain America mantle in "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier." Speaking of the Star-Spangled Man, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) comes up in a conversation between Jen and Bruce, which leads to a surprising revelation about the First Avenger.

Captain America isn't a virgin

After a quick fourth-wall-breaking introduction, "She-Hulk" Episode 1 kicks off with Jen and Bruce in the car as the lawyer theorizes that Steve Rogers possibly died a virgin. She points out that he went from battle to battle through the war, before getting frozen in the ice and becoming an Avenger. The conversation riffs off an online joke that Steve would've never had the time to get intimate with someone. Chris Evans even told Entertainment Weekly (via E! Online ), "He's probably a virgin! I don't know when it would've happened."

It's a pretty fun scene that really leans into the comedic, self-aware nature of the series. But when the post-credits scene rolls around, the show reveals a bit more about Steve Rogers' bedroom antics. The short scene cuts back to Walters and Banner getting drunk on the island, as Jen laments the fact that it's a travesty Steve never got to flirt his way through the world. However, Bruce quickly debunks his cousin's theory, reassuring her that Steve "lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour."

It's hardly surprising, he's a handsome man after all. Hopefully,  Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) knows about this, otherwise, that's going to cause some drama when Steve returns to the past at the end of "Avengers: Endgame." But the "She-Hulk" premiere ends on an even funnier note, as Jen screams "Captain America Fu-" before it cuts to black. Nice.

"She-Hulk" Features a Very Silly Conversation About Captain America's Virginity

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, left: Chris Evans, right: Hayley Atwell, 2011, ph: Jay Maidment/Paramount Pictures/courtesy Everett Collection

The first episode of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" addresses a nosy query MCU fans have had about the movie's canon for a very long time: was Steve Rogers a virgin ? Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk ( Mark Ruffalo ), has finally given a resounding answer: no, he was not.

During the episode, which premiered Aug. 18, Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk ( Tatiana Maslany ), is going on a road trip with her cousin Bruce. Viewers see her midrant, though it seems Bruce is struggling to follow Jennifer's train of thought. "Steve Rogers did not have a girlfriend before he went into the service," she points out, explaining that he was too busy saving the world after he came out of the ice in 2011 to have time for love, romance, or sex in the years that followed. But just as they get to the crux of her theory — "Obviously Captain America was a virgin" — the pair are attacked by a mysterious spaceship . Bruce later reveals that the ship was piloted by Sakaarans, an accident that leads to Jennifer getting her She-Hulk powers, so it seems they have more important things to discuss than Steve's sexual past.

But at the end of the episode, the show revisits Bruce and Jennifer's time together, cutting to a night when the duo are drinking and Jennifer is intoxicated and questioning her cousin about it again. "Steve Rogers did so much for his country, and he never got to experience sex. Did you see that ass? Like, that ass did not deserve to die a virgin. It's, like, so sad," she says, slurring her words.

Bruce has had enough and says, "Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour." Jennifer then reveals that she was just pretending to be drunk and responds, "Yes, I knew it. Captain America fu—" Her sentence is cut off by the credits.

On the day the episode was released, Chris Evans, who plays Steve in the MCU, tweeted about the revelation with a string of emoji.

What woman is Bruce referring to? In "Captain America: The First Avenger," there's a montage of Steve performing with a group of USO girls in order to drum up support for war bonds shortly after he first takes the super-soldier serum. There's a moment where a blond woman who watched the show is very flirty with him, but Bruce's comments lead us to believe it's actually one of the women he worked with. None of them have names or even any lines in the film.

Perhaps most significantly, Bruce's comments point away from Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), who many fans have long conjectured was the first person Steve was intimate with. But a close reading of the timeline of "Captain America: The First Avenger" shows that there's basically no time for Steve and Peggy to be together. They meet before he takes the super-soldier serum in 1943, but they don't begin to fall for each other until 1945, and they kiss for the first time not long before the movie ends. And when Steve pilots his ship into the ice — seemingly killing himself but actually preserving his body so he can appear in the future — he tells Peggy over the radio, "I'm gonna need a rain check for that dance." They weren't a couple — yet.

Of course, Bruce doesn't list every person Steve has had sex with, so it's possible he and Peggy did get it on in 1945 (and they were definitely together for good after the events of "Avengers: Endgame" ). Plus, some fans will never give up their theories about Steve and Bucky .

Jennifer's comments also reflect that, in the MCU, most people believe Steve is dead . Bruce doesn't address that implication, so we'll probably have to wait for "Captain America: New World Order" to find out his ultimate fate.

Marvel confirms when Captain America in MCU lost his virginity

Marvel confirms when Captain America in MCU lost his virginity

She-hulk has finally answered the question about captain america's sex life.

Shiala Mahmood

Warning: this article contains spoilers for the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally ended the mystery around whether Captain America is a virgin or not.

For those not familiar with Captain America , the legendary Marvel hero known as Steve Rogers was frozen for seventy years before he was revived in the 21st century.

Not much is know about the hero's love life other than he missed out on the chance to dance with his lover Peggy Carter before he was frozen.

Unsurprisingly, this has left Marvel fanatics speculating on whether or not Rogers lost his virginity. After all, being frozen for seven decades would hinder anyone's love life.

captain america 1943 uso tour girl

But now, Marvel has finally put an end to the question many fans have been asking as – in the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney Law – it was revealed exactly when Captain America lost his virginity.

The episodes sees Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), discussing Rogers' sex life with Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo).

In the scene we see Walters speculating that – due to his busy schedule as a superhero, and only having one girlfriend before he was frozen – it was more than likely that Rogers never had time for sex.

captain america 1943 uso tour girl

“Steve Rogers did so much for us, and he never got to experience sex. And did you see that ass? Like that ass did not deserve to die a virgin. It's like so sad,” Walters said.

Bruce Banner then goes onto reveal that Rogers is in fact not a virgin, ending the speculation for Walters and Marvel fans.

Banners said: “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour,” .

This prompts Walters to say: “Captain America f**ks," before the episode cuts off.

While the identity of the mystery girl was never revealed, fans will surely be glad to have finally had the question answered.

However, the reveal may be disappointing to fans who were expecting Peggy Carter to be Rogers' first but it isn't surprising that the tall, ripped superhero lost his virginity. No doubt he would have had many offers during the USO tour.

The speculation surrounding Rogers' virginity caused quite the stir on social media, and even prompted Chris Evans to share his reaction.

Taking to Twitter, Evans, who has played Captain America since 2011, tweeted three laughing face emojis, followed by the zipped lips emoji.

The tweet prompted a reply from Mark Ruffalo who revealed the secret as Bruce Banner.

Ruffalo wrote: "Sorry bro. It was under extreme duress."

She Hulk: Attorney of Law follows the life of Jennifer Walters, a single lawyer in her thirties who also happens to be a 6'7" green Hulk. The show also sees Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Bruce Banner or the Hulk.

The series is the latest MCU instalment centred around the heroine who 'hulks out' while juggling her busy law career.

Chris Evans Has the Best Response to That She-Hulk Post-Credits Scene

Does Captain America fuck?

She-Hulk 's writers wondered the exact same thing. After Episode One—which premiered on Disney+ this Thursday—draws to a chaotic, gassy close (we truly did not need the Hulk burping contest!) we're treated to a delightful post-credits scene . Jennifer Walters and Bruce Banner, the latter all Hulked out, are still boozing away. Or so it seems. Walters starts ranting about Captain America, eventually posing the question we all would like the answer to: is the man still a virgin? You know, since he went from dweeb, to jacked savior of his country, to frozen in a block of ice, to jacked savior of mankind! Not much time to sleep around, right?

Wrong! Apparently. Walters, who later reveals that she was pretending to be drunk just to get an answer from Banner, manages to obtain this important piece of information. She says, "That ass did not deserve to die a virgin!" Remember, by the way, that we see Rogers flirt a whole lot over the course of his MCU journey, but considering how damn weird Marvel is about sex , we never saw much more than that. Rest assured, though, America's ass did not die a virgin. Banner reports that Rogers lost his virginity to a stewardess in 1943 on a USO tour. Walters, extremely pleased yells, "CAPTAIN AMERICA FUUUUUUUU—" and the scene cuts to black.

The response to the moment was so damn loud that even Evans himself got word of the moment. His response? Emojis. In a tweet. Simply Emojis. 🤣🤣🤣, to be exact, along the hashtag, #SheHulk. It's somehow the best response we could've hoped for. You can see it below. Anyway, rest easy knowing that Avengers: Endgame does not wrap up with the poor guy traveling back in time to be with the love of his life, only to ruin it all in the bedroom. Amen to that.

She-Hulk post-credits finally solve an incredible Captain America mystery

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is out here asking the real questions about the MCU, and we’re all the better for it.

captain america 1943 uso tour girl

Jennifer Walters salutes America’s Ass. In She-Hulk: Attorney At Law , streaming now on Disney+, messy millennial lawyer Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) transforms into a savage and sensational green superhero just like her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo).

Though Jennifer is related by blood to a famous Avenger, Bruce hasn’t spilled every secret about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. In the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law , a post-credits scene continues a joke planted early in the episode about Jennifer and her crush on Captain America.

Warning: Spoilers for She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 1 ahead.

What happens in the She-Hulk Episode 1 post-credits?

First, some table setting: Early in the first episode of She-Hulk , Jennifer Walters (Maslany) rewinds back to “A Few Months Ago,” to a road trip with her cousin, Bruce Banner (Ruffalo).

Since we saw him in Avengers: Endgame Bruce healed his arm and reverted himself back to his human form through a new, one-of-a-kind device he invented. Hence how he’s able to be his normal self in a scenic drive with his cousin. (It should be said that the events of She-Hulk low-key conflict with the post-credits of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings , but we’re getting ahead. Wait until our coverage of Episode 2 before we talk about it more.)

She-Hulk

In She-Hulk , Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) spends time with her cousin Bruce (Mark Ruffalo) learning how to be a Hulk. In the post-credits, Jennifer learns when Captain America first had sex.

During the ride, Jennifer brings up Steve Rogers. Specifically, she brings up the urban legend of Steve Rogers’ virginity. As Jennifer recaps a History Channel documentary for a totally amused Bruce, Steve supposedly never had sex. He was a virgin before he got the Super Soldier serum, and according to rumors, it’s believed that the chaos of war — not to mention, stopping HYDRA — prevented Steve from ever spending the night with someone.

Bruce keeps the truth to himself, mostly because their drive is interrupted by an alien warship. (More on that in Episode 2.) Fast forward to the post-credits, and Jennifer, pretending to be drunk, mopes about Steve’s virginity at Bruce’s beach bar. After all, he was a hero! A hero with a great ass. Why couldn’t Captain America get to enjoy the carnal pleasures of the flesh?

Bruce, now tired of Jennifer’s moping, reveals that Steve Rogers did in fact lose his virginity. According to Bruce, Steve lost his virginity while on a USO tour in 1943 (so, when he was a propaganda mascot selling war bonds as the “Star-Spangled Man With a Plan” ) to an unnamed girl. One can presume it’s maybe one of the ladies dancing along with Steve on stage, but Bruce doesn’t really divulge those details.

Regardless, Jennifer is euphoric. Relieved that “America’s Ass” got some, Jennifer screams: “Captain America fuuuu—” (This is Disney+, of course she can’t say it.)

Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell in 'Captain America: The First Avenger'

The post-credits of She-Hulk reveal that Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) lost his virginity in 1943 while on the USO tour. But it wasn’t to his true love, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). So who did Steve get lucky with?

What the She-Hulk post-credits reveal about the MCU

At first glance, it’s easy to dismiss the post-credits as just a very funny tag (which it is, it’s legitimately very funny) and not something to take seriously. But for Captain America fans, it does allow a glimpse into Steve’s life that none of his own movies had time to explore.

It was telling when in Captain America: The Winter Soldier , Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) asks if the kiss they shared at the mall — to throw S.H.I.E.L.D. goons off their scent — was Steve’s first kiss since 1945. As Steve tells Natasha (almost defensively), “I’m 95. I’m not dead.”

For most of the MCU, Steve has only shown affection towards Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), with whom he didn’t truly reunite until the very end of Avengers: Endgame . Uncomfortably, Steve also had something with Peggy’s niece, Sharon (Emily VanCamp), but one could argue that their kiss in Captain America: Civil War was more of a belated thank you than any kind of romantic attraction.

A deleted scene from 2012’s The Avengers had Steve flirt with a New York waitress (played by Ashley Johnson , years before she rolled dice on Critical Role ), though it was far more about a freshly-thawed Steve trying to find his way in the modern world than trying to hook up.

The romantic life of Steve Rogers has been a point of endless speculation and curiosity for fans, especially those who’d rather Steve hook up with Bucky Barnes. While the person who actually took Steve’s V-card remains shrouded in mystery, this being the MCU, maybe one day we’ll learn who was captivating enough to get Steve Rogers to knock his red boots.

Selena gomez's new wizards of waverly place update perfectly sets up 1 missing og character’s return, game of thrones may have just confirmed a 10-year-old daenerys targaryen theory.

Warning: Contains SPOILERS for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 1. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law reveals an interesting detail about the first Avenger, Captain America : he wasn’t a virgin ; but viewers might wonder if this is a retcon of Steve Rogers' background in 1943 as depicted in his movie debut. Episode 1 of the MCU's Disney+ series shows how superhero attorney Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) gets her She-Hulk powers. She is exposed to the gamma-irradiated blood of her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), a.k.a. the Hulk, after an accident that sends their car hurtling down a hill.

Prior to the accident, Jen comically presents her passenger Bruce with a theory as to why his friend Captain America (Chris Evans) likely died a virgin. “ Steve Rogers did not have a girlfriend before he went into the service ,” she begins, citing The History Channel as her source. Right before a spaceship appears causing Hulk and She-Hulk's crash , she recounts what Bruce has told her: after receiving the super soldier serum, Steve became a war hero and then was frozen in ice for over 70 years. Once thawed, he was busy with world-threatening disasters or running from the law. Jen concludes her rant by matter-of-factly stating, “ Captain America was obviously a virgin ."

Related: When She-Hulk Is Set In The MCU Timeline: How Long After Endgame?

In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 1's mid-credits, Jen pretends to be drunk and belligerently complains about how Steve Rogers was too hot to have died a virgin. Frustrated, Bruce caves and confirms Steve lost his virginity in 1943 while he was on the USO tour. This information seems to retcon a conversation Steve has with his true love, Peggy Carter , in Captain America: The First Avenger . He explains he has always found it terrifying to ask a girl to dance. Peggy asks, “ Y ou have no idea how to talk to women, do you?” Steve replies, " This is the longest conversation I've had with one .” Presumably, if Steve couldn’t hold a conversation with a woman, he surely couldn’t have slept with one. When looking at Steve’s 1943 timeline, however, he did in fact lose his virginity, just later on.

Does Captain America's Virginity Reveal Work With MCU Canon?

Hulk's reveal in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law of when Captain America lost his virginity works with the MCU canon. Steve’s conversation with Peggy is soon after his enlistment in June 1943. The USO tour – a series of live-entertainment performances for servicemen – takes place months later, in the fall, after his super soldier transformation into Captain America . In 2021, screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely asserted this. McFeely explained, “If you look like that, and you're going city to city ,” signing autographs for women, something is bound to happen (via Yahoo! ). Markus added that while he’s sometimes conveyed as such, Steve Rogers isn’t a prude or a choir boy. It’s even apparent in Captain America: The First Avenger that Steve is popular with the ladies, between Lorraine (Natalie Dormer) making a pass at him and the beautiful blonde woman who asks for his autograph.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law creator Jennifer Gao even shared that the episode 1 reveal about Captain America’s virginity came “ straight from [Kevin Feige’s] golden mouth ,” (via Variety ). It is canon, and based on Captain America’s timeline , the reveal of Steve losing his virginity in 1943 is not a First Avenger retcon. Still, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law does fail to answer one key question regarding Steve’s virginity: to whom did he lose it? It could have been Peggy or the aforementioned blonde woman or one of the Star Spangled Singers accompanying Steve on the USO tour or any number of mystery women never shown in the MCU. Either way, as Jen hilariously puts it at the end of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 1, it is canon that “Captain America F*****!”

New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law are out every Thursday on Disney+ .

The Unofficial MCU Timeline, Part 5 – CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER

This whole exercise of trying to establish a firm timeline for the Marvel Cinematic Universe is more than a little bit silly because precisely when each of these stories takes place doesn’t really matter. The setting is significant inasmuch as figuring out how each movie relates to one another, but the core story of  Iron Man  doesn’t change much at all if it’s set in May of 2008 or some time in 2010. The biggest exception to this is Marvel’s first period piece,  Captain America: The First Avenger .  It is explicitly tied to World War II, specifically the waning years of the war in Europe after America had joined in the fighting. Because of this, you’d expect more care to be taken with having a solid, consistent timeline for this movie, and what d’ya know, you’d be right!

Just to recap, here are our rules:

Rule #1 : Only the movies are canon.

Rule #2 : Title cards are always true.

Rule #3 : References to dates in spoken dialogue are always true unless they conflict with rule #2.

Rule #4 : Written dates that are prominently displayed in the world are usually true, unless they disagree with rules 2, 3, or each other.

Rule #5 : Props and background objects that can be tied to a specific date almost never count.

Agents on site at a frozen glacier:

We begin with a prologue sequence that we can assume is set vaguely in “present day.” The only real information we’re given is that the crash site was only very recently discovered, but we don’t know precisely when that discovery happened.

Title card reading,

Next up is the Red Skull’s invasion into Norway to retrieve the Tesseract in March of 1942.

Stever Rogers' enlistment form listing his birthday as July 4th, 1918.

After one more time jump we get into the main body of the movie with Steve Rogers trying (again) to enlist in the armed forces only to (again) get turned down. We don’t know yet exactly when this is taking place, but we do see that Steve’s birthday is July 4, 1918.

Steve and Bucky in an alleyway with posters on the wall advertising an event on May 29 and 30.

In the scene in the alley behind the movie theater we get some more clear information. The flyers on the wall give us some clues, but then Steve’s full enlistment form clears it up: it’s June 14, 1943, and Bucky has his assignment to ship out to Europe the next day.

Newspaper page advertising the 1943 World Exposition of Tomorrow.

A newspaper add for the World Exposition of Tomorrow reaffirms that this is, in fact, 1943, and then at the Expo itself, a young Howard Stark talks about the near-future of automobiles, but that doesn’t actually mean much for us. Moving on.

Flag at Camp Lehigh emblazoned with the years 1914 and 1942.

During Steve’s training, the flag that he and his fellow candidates are challenged to get is emblazoned with the dates 1914 and 1942. That’s one year older than we’ve established that this is, but the flag looks a bit worn so maybe it’s been there for a while. Either way, the last time someone got the flag was apparently 1926.

Abraham Erskine talking with Steve before his procedure,

Here Dr. Erskine talks to Steve the night before the super soldier procedure, but at this point we’re not totally clear on the timeline of how long Steve was in training before the decision was made.

Steve talking with Peggy Carter,

Here we can assume that Steve is talking about the war which America would have been involved in for about a year and a half by this point, which brings up the question of how Steve would have felt about the war prior to America’s entry. “A few years” is a broad enough term that it could just be referring to the 18 months since the bombing of Pearl Harbor, but I like to think it’s an indication that Steve is the kind of person who was concerned about the war well before America had joined in the fighting. After all, that’s the behind-the-scenes legacy of this character in the comics with Jack Kirby and Joe Simon famously receiving death threats for creating the Führer-punching super soldier a full nine months before America was formally ready to get involved.

Nazi military leaders questioning Johann Schmidt on his progress,

Again, reinforcing our timeline, we have Nazi commanders reprimanding Schmidt for not delivering any weapons in the year since Hydra invaded Norway to steal the Tesseract.

Colonel Phillips discussing the future of the SSR,

And now we have another signpost to move our timeline forward. Assuming this is the paper from the day after Steve’s procedure, that would mean only about a week passed between Steve’s enlistment at the World Exposition and his treatment with Erskine’s formula.

Title card reading,

Another time jump following Captain America’s USO tour finding Steve in Italy in November of 1943, five months later. When you consider Steve was doing USO shows nearly twenty times as long as he was in basic training, perhaps Colonel Phillips gruff dismissing of him feels a bit more fair.

Colonel Philips dictating condolence letters,

Another firm date. Steve’s raid of the Hydra facility was November 3, 1943.

Colonel Phillips talking to Zola,

These screen caps cover nearly a full hour of the film, but I’m lumping them all together because there’s some passage of time in the back half of this movie that is never explicitly defined. Obviously the setting of this movie has a definite endpoint with VE-Day being May 8, 1945, but it’s not entirely clear if Steve went in the water shortly before VE-Day or if the movie is bending time a little bit for emotional impact. Logically, it makes the most sense that Cap and the Howling Commandos were able to topple Hydra’s bases over a matter of months – and the wintertime imagery that prevails over this part of the movie seems to support that theory. Plus, Schmidt was pretty far along in the development of weapons; it doesn’t seem like it would take an additional year and a half before he’d be ready to launch his assault. I think putting Steve’s crash in late winter of 1944 makes the most sense, with the Howling Commandos taking a moment to drink to Cap amid the celebrations of VE-Day.

Steve confronting someone who appears to be an SSR agent,

And speaking of things that aren’t explicitly defined, it’s still a little bit vague when exactly Steve was found frozen in the ice. Obviously it happens prior to  The Avengers , and I think it makes sense to say it happens after  Thor , but even that isn’t made clear. Fury says it’s been almost 70 years, so if we assume Steve went into the ice in 1944, “almost” 70 years could be anywhere from 2009 to 2014. My best guess is that this happened very shortly before  The Avengers , a week or two at most, but we’ll get into that more next time.

The Timeline So Far…

good day, I believe you did a great job marking the specific points in time in CATFA, but I found a mistake in the picture of the Timeline so far. Howard and Maria Stark died on the evening of December 16th 1991, its only in the news the next day. Just wanted to point that out, but otherwise good job and thanks for working through the movie like that!
