Campus Tours and Information Sessions

In-Person Campus Visit Experience

The UGA Campus Visit Experience is a two-hour experience that includes a brief admissions presentation followed by a 90-minute tour of campus. The tour consists of a driving portion on a campus bus and an hour-long walking tour of historic north campus. Space is limited. Registration is required for all guests. Visitors without a reservation will be directed to self-guided tour options.

Transfer Student Information Session

Our monthly Virtual Transfer Information Sessions last one hour and consist of a brief presentation by Admissions and the opportunity for live Q&A.

Group Tours

Group tours of campus can be arranged for larger groups of up to 50 middle and high school students from schools or community organizations. If you have a group of 10-50 prospective students, learn more about scheduling a visit to campus.

UGA School and College Tours

Many of UGA's eighteen schools and colleges offer tours of their facilities. Whether it's in-person tours, scheduled visitation events, or virtual options, check out how to take a deeper look into the wide array of academic programs at UGA.

Accessibility Accommodations

Residence Hall Tours

Our daily tours do not include stops at residence halls, but tours of student housing are offered on certain dates throughout the year. Each UGA residence hall has a different style and culture. Freshmen are required to live on campus, so residence hall tours for incoming students are recommended.

The Georgia Bulldogs take on Tennessee Tech

The entire town takes on a celebratory feel during football gamedays in Athens. Approximately two hours and 15 min before each home game, the Bulldogs are greeted and fired up by thousands of Georgia fans and the Redcoat Marching band as they unload on Lumpkin Street and walk through the Tate Center Parking lot and into Sanford Stadium.

Topgolf Live Stadium Tour Set To Arrive In Sanford Stadium

Here's how you can play golf in UGA football's Sanford Stadium

Golf is coming to Sanford Stadium this summer. 

The Topgolf Live Stadium Tour, which brings the Topgolf experience to sports venues around the country, is set to stop at Sanford Stadium June 18-23, according to a press release from the University of Georgia Athletic Association. 

Participants will be able to hit balls from inside the stadium onto the field with targets set up 60-150 yards from the hitting bay, according to the release. The event will also include technology used for scoring and shot tracing featured at regular Topgolf locations. 

"We are excited to offer a brand new experience within the confines of our iconic Sanford Stadium," UGA Athletic Director Josh Brooks said.  "We have been working on ideas for people to enjoy and experience everything that Athens and our facilities offer, and we believe this is a big step towards doing just that.  Similar to the first-ever concert we had in Sanford with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan in 2013, this is another opportunity for us to showcase a stadium that we believe is second to none."

Tickets for the event go on sale Feb. 4 with tee times are for one hour increments. Ticket prices start at $80 for regular players and $40 for students. Due to COVID-19 protocols, hitting bays have to be purchased for groups of six to “avoid mixing of parties,” according to the release. 

Also available is a $175 “premium ticket” which includes access to drink tickets, a Topgolf Live Stadium Tour hat, and a lifetime Topgolf membership and game play voucher. The membership is redeemable at any U.S. Topgolf location — except Topgolf Las Vegas — according to the release. 

Sanford Stadium joins other venues such as Soldier Field, Chase Field and Williams-Brice Stadium at the University of South Carolina as stadiums the Topgolf live tour is visiting in 2021.

Sanford Stadium Shuttles

There will be complimentary shuttles from Ramsey Center or Rec Sports Complex to Gate 6 before and after games is available. UGA Campus Transit will also offer free shuttle services to fans on game day from the East Campus Parking Deck or Ramsey Center bus area.

If there is an overflow of vehicles and parking is needed at the Intramural Fields, then shuttles will also pick up fans at the Intramural Fields parking area off College Station Road. However, due to postgame traffic patterns, shuttles returning to the Intramural Fields after the game will stop at the intersection of East Campus Road and College Station Road.

Shuttles will run continuously for 5.5hours before the before kickoff.

All shuttle users will be dropped off at Gate 6 of Sanford Stadium. Shuttles will stop running 15 minutes after kickoff.

Fans are to remember that the gates to Sanford Stadium do not open until two hours prior to the scheduled game time. Additionally, post-game service will run continuously for two hours after the game ends.
