Nat was a great tour guide. He took us to the upper canyon and from the minute we boarded the bus, he made a point to let us know he's only plan was to give us a great tour. He took lots of pictures for us, explained everything, and was overall more than I would have ever expected.

It was a fantastic tour. Lydell was tremendous. Helpful, knowledgeable, interactive. And a great photographer!! Not only would we recommend this tour, we would go back!

Absolutely worth the experience and with brilliant and supportive tour guides. Our guides were not only enthusiastic with information but also in advice and assistance with clients taking the best photos. The canyons were breathtaking and the drive was incredibly fun with the company vehicles.

We had a amazing tour guide, Nate. He offered a lot of information and was able to answer all my questions. He helped with setting up my phone so I had professional pictues. This tour guide is well worth the money and highly recommend going. A once in a lifetime.

Three Days In Vegas

Unforgettable Monument Valley Tours from Las Vegas

Exploring the beauty of the world has been a priority since the beginning of mankind, and now with the rise of the internet, it’s never been easier to book an incredible adventure. One destination that stands out from the rest is Monument Valley, situated on the Arizona-Utah border in the Navajo Nation.

Its sandstone buttes, flat-topped mesas, and winding roads seem to stretch on for eternity, creating an iconic landscape that’s often been used for films, TV shows, and other forms of media. It’s no wonder why the Navajo Nation has called the region home for centuries, with the surrounding beauty providing a spiritual connection to the land and its people.

But with such a vast landscape, it can become difficult to explore it all. That’s why it’s best to take one of the many Monument Valley tours available, as they offer the chance to visit places that may have otherwise gone unseen. Not only that, but they can provide invaluable insight into the culture and history of the area.

Here, we take a look at the best Monument Valley tours from Las Vegas, so you can have the full experience of this special place.

Monument Valley 3 Day Tours from Las Vegas

A guided scenic tour is ideal for a first-time visitor. Not only will you get to see the amazing scenery, but you’ll also get a different experience, as your guide is more often than not a native who can explain the beauty of Monument Valley and its spiritual meaning to Navajo people.

Guided tours also have the added benefit of allowing you to rest while someone else takes care of the driving. If you’re coming from Las Vegas, this isn’t something to be overlooked, as it’s important to stay rested and refreshed to soak up all the sights in Monument Valley.

Unfortunately, the closest airports to fly into are Las Vegas or Salt Lake City which makes Las Vegas an ideal starting point. With so much to see, a multi day tour is the perfect way to take in all the sights between Las Vegas and Monument Valley. Here are our picks of the best Monument Valley Tours from Las Vegas!

Background Information

Before the Bundu Bus started going there, there was no bus transportation to Monument Valley. Now you can take the Bundu Bus from Salt Lake City , via Moab , or you can start in Las Vegas and go to Monument Valley via Lake Powell .

For many, Monument Valley, with its buttes and other rock formations is the epicenter of the west, but be aware that it is very far from anywhere, and lodging is limited. We can generally find you somewhere to camp out, and can often provide an (expensive) hotel room. Because of this, the Bundu Bus stops at Monument Valley long enough for you to take a tour of the area. You then have a choice of going to Lake Powell/Page or to Moab/Arches.

You can check out the schedule , routes , and make a reservation .

Please note that if we book your lodging in Salt Lake City for you, we guarantee we will drop you off directly at the property. If you book it yourself you may be dropped at a central location, and have to find your own way there. Because we negotiate discounted rates from our suppliers we are often able to offer a lower rate than you could get yourself!

Lodging is generally impossible to get in Monument Valley. There is only one hotel, which is expensive, and a camping ground. If you are going to get off the bus there please make sure you have somewhere to stay first!

Our Tuesday tour from Las Vegas to Monument Valley stays in a tiny spot on the map called Tsegi. The reason for this is that it is the only reasonably priced place to sleep for miles around. Bear in mind, however, that it is very basic.

The Monument Valley tours are conducted by Navajos, in especially converted off road vehicles, and we can book them for you. The Bundu Bus schedule into Monument Valley is such that we allow enough time to take a backcountry tour of about 1 1/2 to two hours, which you can book online , we will book for you.

Activities & Other

Monument Valley is big, wide and open. There are any number of places to go and walk around but remember that it is almost always hot and you must take enough water with you.
