Big Time Rush  became an overnight sensation in 2009 from the launch of the Nickelodeon television series  Big Time Rush . The show was a huge success and catapulted the group into real-life stardom, as they went on to release 3 studio albums and performed across the globe, including five tours from 2011 to 2014. In June 2020, the band held a surprise virtual reunion to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their smash hit “Worldwide,” resulting in mass hysteria amongst their fans and in the media. In March 2021, all four seasons of Nickelodeon’s  Big Time Rush  were added to Netflix and the band went viral once again, increasing fan demand for an official reunion. Soon after, the band announced they would come together for two special live shows in New York and Chicago, both of which sold-out in a matter of minutes, blowing expectations out of the water and proving the power of the band’s devoted fandom. 2022 saw their North American  Forever Tour  sell out and the band release hit singles “Honey,” “Fall” and “Not Giving You Up.” 2023 promises to be another massive year for the band and fans can expect more news from Big Time Rush soon.

Jax joins Kyle Meredith to talk about her latest single, “Cinderella Snapped,” and the big year she has in front of her.

The singer-songwriter discusses the runaway success of her single “Victoria’s Secret,” becoming a star on TikTok, and how her mental health has found its way into her work.

“TikTok was the first time I got validation in things that were my biggest insecurities, essentially, as a writer,” she explains. “For the first time, people don’t want to hear anything but stories from me. And, holy shit, that’s so cool as writer that after all these years, I get to storytell the way I want to and people care about the stories.”

Jax goes on to tell us about her love of pop punk and guitar-driven music, the upcoming tour with Big Time Rush and MAX (tickets are available here ), and if an album is on the way.

Big Time Rush THE FOREVER TOUR2022 Dates:

*denotes dates with Dixie D’Amelio

ABOUT BIG TIME RUSH: Big Time Rush became an overnight sensation in November 2009 when the scripted TV show of the same name launched on Nickelodeon. The show focused on the Hollywood adventures of four hockey players from Minnesota after they were selected to form a boy band. The show a huge success and later, Carlos, Kendall, James, and Logan came to life as a band off the screen releasing three full length albums and performing across the globe. As the show concluded in July 2013 and after four years of recording music and touring as a band, they went their separate ways but remained close friends through the years.   After 7 years, in an effort to bring joy to their fans during quarantine around the world, the members of Big Time Rush decided to appear together as a group to send a message of love and togetherness. This was soon followed by a socially distant performance of an acoustic version of their smash hit, “Worldwide”. These appearances resulted in hysteria amongst their fans and in the media, followed by BTR receiving 10+ million streams in 2020 alone. Four seasons of the TV show were added last to Netflix in March 2021 and have appeared in the Netflix “Top 10” trending titles.   The band finished off 2021 with a performance at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Philadelphia as well as 2 sold out shows in Chicago and NYC, capping it off with the release of their first single in 8 years, “Call It Like I See It”, on Dec. 13th. Stay tuned for big things to come because Big Time Rush is back.

With his pop/soul swagger, Max will perform songs like "It's You," "Gucci Bag," and "Wasabi." Big Time Rush, or BTR, was the early 2010s best boy group. Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega make up the group. Alongside the Nickelodeon show with the same name, the band rose to stardom by acting and producing songs. Their "pop-inspired dance-rock" was a massive hit, with their debut album "BTR" (2010) reaching the top 3 of the Billboard 200 charts. This was followed by two other albums entitled "Elevate" (2011) and "24/Seven" (2013). In 2014, the band decided to go on hiatus. They had a reunion in 2020 and are back on tour in 2023.

Max is a pop/soul singer who took the world on fire with his song "Lights Down Low." he has released four albums, namely "NWL" (2015), "Hell's Kitchen Angel" (2016), and "Colour Vision" (2020). He has worked with many big names in the music industry, including Noah Cyrus, Quinn XCII, Chromeo, Hayley Kiyoko, and SUGA from BTS.

Jackie Miskanic, best known by her stage name Jax, first shot at music popularity was with the fourteenth season of American Idol, where she placed third. After competing in the TV competition, she released multiple singles. Her best is "Victoria's Secret," which came out in 2022. It was a song about the unrealistic standards of beauty from brands, which have affected the body images of most women in today's society.

This July 26, the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre will be the setting of BTR's Can't Get Enough Tour. This comeback is what you are waiting for. Reserve tickets now!

Touring two summers in a row, Big Time Rush is back with their Can’t Get Enough Tour , packing amphitheaters and arenas with waves of fans who can’t get enough of the energy band members Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega, and Logan Henderson bring to the stage each time they perform.

To open this tour, Big Time Rush brought Jax and Max along with them. Both openers bring the heat every time they perform with their electric stage presence. They also find moments to interact and engage with the crowd. Every night, Jax finds a younger girl to sing the bridge of “Victoria’s Secret” with her, while Max makes the crowd his choir on his song “Strings,” which he recently released on August 4.

Then, it’s time for Big Time Rush to hit the stage with their 20+ song set, featuring songs from their new album Another Life , old favorites from their days on Nickelodeon, and some classics that the band has yet to perform on tour until now, such as “Famous.”

The setlist provides an opportunity for each of the band members to showcase the unique talents they bring to the group: At the end of “Weekends,” PenaVega brings out his ukulele for a solo reprise of the song’s pre-chorus and chorus. At the end of the bridge of “Forget You Now,” Henderson steps out of a spotlight made of flickering green laser beams and hits an extraordinarily high note as a white light encases him. Maslow plays the piano on “Invisible” while the other three band members join him on a rising platform. Schmidt plays the bass on an unreleased song from Big Time Rush’s Nickelodeon days “Shot in the Dark.”

Another aspect of the show that makes Big Time Rush’s Can’t Get Enough Tour stand out is the way they interact with the crowd. They always put their fans first and engage with them in intimate and meaningful ways. This proves true throughout the entire show experience: from the exclusive VIP meet and greet tier they created that allows fans to spend time with the band in an exclusive lounge and head backstage for a pre-show huddle to heading into the crowd to sing up close with attendees during “Paralyzed” and “Windows Down.” Of course, I would be completely remiss to not mention “Worldwide” – a song the band performs each night where they invite four lucky fans on stage for a serenade. This tradition has become so special to so many fans who create signs hoping to be picked while friends, either at the show or at home, cheer them on.

Overall, Big Time Rush’s Can’t Get Enough Tour is a fun and vibrant transition into a new era. It’s clear how much the band’s four members enjoy being on stage and the energy they give off each night is infectious. You will find yourself singing their lyrics at the top of your lungs, jumping on the balls of your feet and even slowing down to take in crowds with their phone flashlights on as the band ends their acoustic set with “Ask You Tonight.”

While the setlist may be the same each night, there are still plenty of surprises fans can look forward to. In Toronto, Canada, Henderson, and Maslow found themselves crowd surfing, and in Bangor, Maine, the band ended the show on the venue’s roof. The band also takes a moment each night to riff as they introduce the band joining them on the road this tour – Vicky Warwick on bass, Gregg Garman on drums, and Cody Perrin as music director and on guitar.

The set design also plays a large role in the show’s constant high energy. A giant diamond-shaped screen, a staircase made up of LED screens, and a moving stage piece elevate the band members’ performance. The band has also added lasers to their arsenal of effects, alongside their confetti cannons and pyro machines. Each piece of the set design plays a pivotal role in bringing the show to life: After the band exits the rising platform at the end of “Invisible,” they have a stage break where a track off their new album “I Just Want To (Party All the Time)” plays as fans watch a montage of clips from the band’s Nickelodeon days, perfectly bringing the nostalgia of a track that samples Eddie Murphy’s “Party All the Time” to life. To end the show’s set before diving into the encore, the band performs “Confetti Falling.” As the song draws to a close, white confetti rains down on the crowd, sticking to sweaty fans and falling to the floor like snowflakes.

The crowds at the shows each night prove that Big Time Rush has been and always will be for everyone.

The tour has wrapped up in the US and will finish with a three-show run in Mexico tomorrow. For future tour dates and more info on the band, visit bigtimerushofficial.com .

River Cruise on Luxurious Radisson Boat

Equipped with ice-breaking technology, these huge fancy yachts are the only river cruisers running all year around. The round trip journey takes two and a half hours and floats past all the big sights like the White House, Novodevichy monastery and the Kremlin. There’s a large open air observation deck up top, while the main body of the ship houses a restaurant with a dance floor for a romantic post dinner dance. For a particularly romantic experience take one of the evening boats and admire the bright lights of the city skyline at night.

The most relaxing and picturesque tour that Moscow can offer: a great way to see the city center and its main attractions. This is a perfect alternative to exploring the city by car, if you only have time to do sightseeing during weekday rush hours.

Your English-speaking guide is eager to share every bit of their knowledge about the surrounding landscape, the architecture and historical details.

We conduct Moscow river tour on Radisson Flotilla boats all year around!  It’s warm inside during winter months, while there’s air conditioning during hot summer days. You may also treat yourself to drinks, lunch or dinner on board (drinks and food are not included in tour price).

Any French military in Ukraine would be a 'legitimate target' for Russian forces, Lavrov says

Any French military instructors in Ukraine would be a “legitimate target” for Russian armed forces, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday as he continued his latest tour of Africa, where frustration with the West has swayed several countries toward Moscow.

What You Need To Know

Russia's foreign minister says any french military instructors in ukraine would be “a legitimate target” for russian armed forces sergey lavrov spoke during his latest tour of africa, where growing frustration with traditional western allies has swayed several countries toward moscow french authorities did not immediately reply to a request for comment on lavrov’s remarks ukraine’s top commander said last week he had signed paperwork allowing french military instructors to access ukrainian training centers soon. but french president emmanuel macron said last week he would not comment on “rumors or decisions that could be made”.

Lavrov made the remarks at joint press conference with the Republic of Congo's President Denis Sassou N'Guesso.

“As for the French instructors, I think they are already on the Ukrainian territory,” Lavrov said, referring to the military instructors that France could send to train Ukrainian troops. “Regardless of their status, military officials or mercenaries represent a legitimate target for our armed forces.”

Ukraine’s top commander said last week he had signed paperwork allowing French military instructors to access Ukrainian training centers soon. But French President Emmanuel Macron said last week he would not comment on “rumors or decisions that could be made." He said he would elaborate on France's support during the 80th anniversary commemorations of D-Day later this week.

Macron’s office said it would not comment on Lavrov's remarks. Also Tuesday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that “instructors who train the Kyiv regime’s troops don’t have any sort of immunity, and it doesn’t matter whether they are French or not."

Lavrov has visited the African continent several times in the past few years as Russia seeks to shore up support amid Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. A number of African countries in recent years have expressed growing frustration with their traditional Western partners like France and the United States.

Lavrov on Tuesday also dismissed the Ukraine peace conference due to take place later this month in Switzerland. Russia was not invited.

“This conference in Switzerland has no meaning,” he said. “The only meaning it can have is to try to preserve this anti-Russian bloc which is in the process of crumbling.”

Republic of Congo was the second stop in Lavrov's tour. He visited Guinea on Monday and met with the foreign minister.

It was not clear which other African countries might be on Lavrov's itinerary.
