Splendours of the West

This holiday exceeded our expectation. The National Parks were all spectacular with Las Vegas providing a cityscape contrast. The extra trips we booked were good value and added to our experience. Our tour manager was knowledgeable and friendly.

2nd trip in 13 months - excellent service

Use these guys, they are the business!

If you are going to the states, use these guys. They are the business. I have just come back off a two tour of the south west US and I couldn't have done it without them. I had a couple of hiccups half way through with hotels not being booked, but this was sorted out immediately and someone was able to help me even though it was the early hours of the morning in the UK. Thanks to Jenn and the team, and I will be back!!!!

Up to now, Booking my self drive and fly with Alan has been super easy. I’m extremely fussy so there has been alot of back and forth getting the right hotels. Finally got it perfect. Alan was really helpful, full of knowledge and was quick and getting back to me. Can’t wait to our trip!

Great Company Get Staff

Just back from Vegas about 2 weeks from the day we booked to the day we got our tickets they were amazing to deal with currently in the process of organising our next trip and I won't book with anybody else. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Flydrive USA/Canada

Flydrive holiday with a route including New York, Bar Harbor, Quebec, Niagrara, Washington which we based on a 2 week defined tour offered by Canada Sky which we then asked to be amended to include additional nights in certain locations and new locations. This was all handled quite effortlessly by Connor and within 2 days we had the itinerary we wanted. We suffered two departure flight cancellations , British Airways at fault, which meant WE made decisions to fly from different airport, change hotel stays, period of hire car, etc which was handled very efficiently by Julie and Tracey as we discussed with them and re-arranged, which was much appreciated and relieving some of the stress. Yes this was done at our expense, of which we hold British Airways accountable for and from whom compensate is being sought, which can take months. Regarding the itinerary, its one to see as much of this part of USA/Canada in a short space of time so take ownership of knowing what you want to see, we booked our own tours. Some of the hotel accommodation was basic, clean but rooms a little tired, and then there was some that we were surprised would be included for the price we paid. In general very pleased with the holiday for the price we paid and the support from the customer services team

Fantastic Family Holiday

Easy to pick up car in airport. House was great. Loads of room. Booked a three bed house and got a four bed. Very clean with own pool. Pool and air hockey tables in garage were great entertainment for kids as too dark in evenings to get into pool. Free wifi was great also. Enjoyed every minute of the holiday. Orlando not just for the kids. Great times were had by all. Being able to pick up the phone and have any questions answered by someone here in Ireland ( Ciara in Kerry office) really helped me as I had never booked a holiday with an agent like this before. Would highly recommend it.

Very good to deal with

Found this company really good to deal with .booked Florida and New York with them.open at weekends and evenings too.very helpful staff .changed my hotel when I needed,answered any questions I had to ,also cheapest too..have recommended to friends who also booked with them.would definetly book with them again.

Excellent service and knowledge

We booked flights and car hire through Americansky for a trip to Florida. Knowing the state well from previous trips we arranged our own villa and hotel accommodation. The staff were excellent from the very first enquiry to the final documentation confirmation - they were friendly and very knowledgeable about flying to Orlando and the things to consider when hiring a car. We did need to telephone them on several occasions during our holiday planning to confirm or check some of the booking details and were always able to speak to an appropriate consultant within minutes - very impressive given today's online culture ! We would recommend this company without hesitation and will be using them again in a couple of years time when we've saved up for another big trip.

Just returned from my 5th holiday …

Just returned from my 5th holiday booked with American Sky and i honestly wouldnt book my travel with anyone else again everything was made so easy they really took the time to understand what i wanted and my budget and delivered every time. From courtesy calls the day before departure to ensure i have everything i need to travel to follow up emails checking my satisfaction on return it really shows a company who values their customers.

Amazing USA Western Discovery Tour

A must for everyone's bucket list - visiting some of the most iconic and beautiful National Park in California constrasting with the bright lights of LA, Las Vegas and San Fransisco... A truly memorable experience!

Western Discovery with American Sky

Just returned from the Western Discovery escorted tour. The service from American Sky was really good, the tours they are offering are from ATI. From the start we were not impressed with ATI. They changed five hotels before the holiday commencement, which we knew could happen but comparable hotels they stated would be allocated. This was not the case with the last hotel in the tour as the reviews were appalling, old, dirty, smelly, prostitutes and hotel smelling of marijuana!! Informed AS that we would not stay at the hotel, ATI were not interested. After several phone conversations AS paid for us to stay in the original hotel. We was later informed that ATI were not going to use this hotel next year!! Even our tour guide wouldn’t stay there! Several of the hotels were at the lower end of three star and could have been better. The trip itself is too much to do over 14 nights and should really be done over at least 21 nights. The traveling was ridiculous eight hours in a coach and then you would get one hour at Death Valley!! There is too little time at the main stops and when you arrive being too tired after so much travelling you don’t have enough time to enjoy the sites. We got fed up of being told how much tip to give the driver and tour guide. Apparently both are paid “peanuts” by ATI so rely on the tips!! The tour guide was unwell half way into the holiday and due to the air conditioning and sitting on a coach with her for hour after hour everyone was ill. As we managed to get our hotel changed we was then left to make our own way from the last hotel to our accommodation. Overall AS are good but ATI appears to not be a good travel company as customer service does not come first.

Amazing - The Kids Are Still Smiling

We took a holiday with Americansky this year and was a first for us with them. Previously we had used a more off the shelf approach. This year we took the kids 5 & 11 to Orlando. USA self drive tour

This is my second holiday through American Sky. Service provided via the phone is excellent. Any queries were quickly answered and worries were put to rest. The holiday itself went smoothly, the only issues were to do with the hire car (mainly the awful sat nav we were provided with). I would absolutely recommend the best of the west self drive tour...amazing!

American Sky escorted tours

Have recently returned from our second escorted tour of the USA booked through American Sky. Everything went very smoothly. Whenever I phoned American Sky the advisor was always very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I book with them again??? Already looking!!

Great trip on the Western Discovery Tour

We have just returned from an incredible trip to the west of the USA (Western Discovery Tour) and it was fantastic (as were the additional 3 nights in Waikiki Beach.)Great itinerary, marvellous optional extras, absolutely outstanding guide and driver. We could not fault any of it and all the hotels were comfortable. We have previously taken a trip to the Deep South a few years ago which was also excellent. I would thoroughly recommend.

Completed the whole of this route from Chicago to L.A. The company offered a competitively priced package and the arrangements were made quickly and efficiently. A last minute substitution of two hotels was however necessary which transpired to mean that our final destination (3 nights) was more off the beaten track than originally planned. The handbook which we collected at our first hotel was our 'bible' for the whole trip over some 16 days and proved invaluable for navigation (particularly as our SatNav was faulty for the 1st week!). The maps could be a little larger but this is the only observation. One motel was way below par but all others were acceptable and one or two were excellent. In summary, a fantastic 'bucket list' trip for which the administration and pricing were good.

Fast and efficient

I needed fast travel arrangements to USA following a death in the family. - flights, US rail tickets there and back. Having had my flight delayed by 4 hours (turned into 5) the rail bookings had to be changed and overnight accommodation booked at the very last minute. I cannot fault American Sky as they got on with the job and my new E-tickets and vouchers were sent to my email address before the taxi arrived to take me to the airport. I have used their services in the past for a bespoke air/rail trip to the US and future travel arrangements will be definitely be handed to American Sky.

Amazing from start to finish

Travelled to the west coast of the U.S. with american sky this year . The tour guide was exceptional and so helpful from beginning to end . Got to see so many places that were on the bucket list . We also took some of the option extra tours , I'd would definitely recommend doing the helicopter over the Grand Canyon if you get the opportunity . Once in a life time experience for us . Will defo book with american sky again

Tastes and Sounds of the South

A really great tour, so much more than we expected. A great blend of information and fun, the tour director Kacey was so informative and knowledgeable, she added greatly to our enjoyment of the trip.The seats at the Grand Ole Opry were in an excellent position and the show was brilliant as was everything on the tour. California Flydrive

Great Holiday – Great Experience

First time we have used this company

This was the 1st time we have used this holiday company and we have been very impressed from start to finish. The booking was made easy for us by the very helpful staff who helped us plan our self made trip giving us several choices of dates compared to best prices. We had no problems what so ever with any area of the holiday and we were especially impressed with the booklet and maps supplied. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone planning a fly drive break, they take the stress out of finding and booking everything. Great service

American Sky were extremely helpful, I posted an enquiry online and within ten minutes they called confirming everything I needed along with some great prices. Prior to booking I asked whether they could provide further details on a different hotel which they did without hesitation. All email communication received a quick response and they were very polite and helpful on the phone. I would definitely book with Americansky again! I recommend them to anyone!

Western Dscovery

Had a fantastic holiday, with a great tour guide (Steve O'Neil), our fellow travellers were a great bunch, which made our time in Western USA even better with plenty of laughs along the way. Only negative was the hotel in San Francisco (Holiday Inn, Civic centre) was in the epicentre of the homeless population, which was a tad unsettling.

Orlando holiday

10 out of 10 is awarded here! This was my first time to book with American sky. We stayed for two weeks in Orlando and from the start everything went very smoothly. The accommodation was superb. I had seen photos of the type of home we were to stay in but the house exceeded our expectations. Customer service pre and during our stay was superb. Would highly recommend american sky and I will be using these guys as my preferred choice of holiday partner for future trips to the USA. Western Discovery... our 2nd tour with American Sky in 2 years

We went on our second trip with American Sky in 2 years, this time on the Western Discovery tour, exploring the West Coast of USA. It was a very comprehensive and interesting trip and Edgar, our guide and Micheal, our coach driver were fantastic and certainly made our trip enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would not hesitate to go on another escorted tour with this company.

The best price for our trip that I could find by more than £1000.00 each

I have already shared itinerary with friends who are interested in this type of holiday. No other high street agents or websites came near the price that American Skies did. I was initially concerned about booking on line and reviews helped to convince me that this was a genuine site. Adam was helpful and replied promptly to calls and emails. You receive your hotel vouchers and itinerary when you check into your first hotel. Also a book advising of travel distances and time, plus suggestions of what to see enroute and once you get to your next destination. It can be tiring we drove over 3600 miles in 2 weeks and some of our destinations required you to be at least moderately fit!!! We had a great time, and would definitely book through this company again

Several of the hotels were at the lower end of three star and could have been better. The trip itself is too much to do over 14 nights and should really be done over at least 21 nights. The traveling was ridiculous eight hours in a coach and then you would get one hour at Death Valley!! There is too little time at the main stops and when you arrive being too tired after so much travelling you don’t have enough time to enjoy the sites. We got fed up of being told how much tip to give the driver and tour guide. Apparently both are paid “peanuts” by ATI so rely on the tips!! The tour guide was unwell half way into the holiday and due to the air conditioning and sitting on a coach with her for hour after hour everyone was ill. As we managed to get our hotel changed we was then left to make our own way from the last hotel to our accommodation. Overall AS are good but ATI appears to not be a good travel company as customer service does not come first.

Amazing - The Kids Are Still Smiling

USA self drive tour

This is my second holiday through American Sky. Service provided via the phone is excellent. Any queries were quickly answered and worries were put to rest. The holiday itself went smoothly, the only issues were to do with the hire car (mainly the awful sat nav we were provided with). I would absolutely recommend the best of the west self drive tour...amazing!

American Sky escorted tours

Have recently returned from our second escorted tour of the USA booked through American Sky. Everything went very smoothly. Whenever I phoned American Sky the advisor was always very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I book with them again??? Already looking!!

Great trip on the Western Discovery Tour

We have just returned from an incredible trip to the west of the USA (Western Discovery Tour) and it was fantastic (as were the additional 3 nights in Waikiki Beach.)Great itinerary, marvellous optional extras, absolutely outstanding guide and driver. We could not fault any of it and all the hotels were comfortable. We have previously taken a trip to the Deep South a few years ago which was also excellent. I would thoroughly recommend.

Completed the whole of this route from Chicago to L.A. The company offered a competitively priced package and the arrangements were made quickly and efficiently. A last minute substitution of two hotels was however necessary which transpired to mean that our final destination (3 nights) was more off the beaten track than originally planned. The handbook which we collected at our first hotel was our 'bible' for the whole trip over some 16 days and proved invaluable for navigation (particularly as our SatNav was faulty for the 1st week!). The maps could be a little larger but this is the only observation. One motel was way below par but all others were acceptable and one or two were excellent. In summary, a fantastic 'bucket list' trip for which the administration and pricing were good.

Fast and efficient

I needed fast travel arrangements to USA following a death in the family. - flights, US rail tickets there and back. Having had my flight delayed by 4 hours (turned into 5) the rail bookings had to be changed and overnight accommodation booked at the very last minute. I cannot fault American Sky as they got on with the job and my new E-tickets and vouchers were sent to my email address before the taxi arrived to take me to the airport. I have used their services in the past for a bespoke air/rail trip to the US and future travel arrangements will be definitely be handed to American Sky.

Amazing from start to finish

Travelled to the west coast of the U.S. with american sky this year . The tour guide was exceptional and so helpful from beginning to end . Got to see so many places that were on the bucket list . We also took some of the option extra tours , I'd would definitely recommend doing the helicopter over the Grand Canyon if you get the opportunity . Once in a life time experience for us . Will defo book with american sky again

A really great tour, so much more than we expected. A great blend of information and fun, the tour director Kacey was so informative and knowledgeable, she added greatly to our enjoyment of the trip.The seats at the Grand Ole Opry were in an excellent position and the show was brilliant as was everything on the tour. Great Holiday – Great Experience

We recently returned from a self-drive holiday in California. We had a wonderful time thanks in no small part to the work Adam at American Sky put into planning our trip. First time we have used this company

This was the 1st time we have used this holiday company and we have been very impressed from start to finish. The booking was made easy for us by the very helpful staff who helped us plan our self made trip giving us several choices of dates compared to best prices. We had no problems what so ever with any area of the holiday and we were especially impressed with the booklet and maps supplied. American Sky were extremely helpful, I posted an enquiry online and within ten minutes they called confirming everything I needed along with some great prices. Prior to booking I asked whether they could provide further details on a different hotel which they did without hesitation. All email communication received a quick response and they were very polite and helpful on the phone. I would definitely book with Americansky again! I recommend them to anyone!

Western Dscovery

Had a fantastic holiday, with a great tour guide (Steve O'Neil), our fellow travellers were a great bunch, which made our time in Western USA even better with plenty of laughs along the way. Only negative was the hotel in San Francisco (Holiday Inn, Civic centre) was in the epicentre of the homeless population, which was a tad unsettling.

Orlando holiday

10 out of 10 is awarded here! This was my first time to book with American sky. We stayed for two weeks in Orlando and from the start everything went very smoothly. The accommodation was superb. I had seen photos of the type of home we were to stay in but the house exceeded our expectations. Customer service pre and during our stay was superb. Would highly recommend american sky and I will be using these guys as my preferred choice of holiday partner for future trips to the USA. Western Discovery... our 2nd tour with American Sky in 2 years

We went on our second trip with American Sky in 2 years, this time on the Western Discovery tour, exploring the West Coast of USA. It was a very comprehensive and interesting trip and Edgar, our guide and Micheal, our coach driver were fantastic and certainly made our trip enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would not hesitate to go on another escorted tour with this company.

The best price for our trip that I could find by more than £1000.00 each

I have already shared itinerary with friends who are interested in this type of holiday. No other high street agents or websites came near the price that American Skies did. I was initially concerned about booking on line and reviews helped to convince me that this was a genuine site. Adam was helpful and replied promptly to calls and emails. You receive your hotel vouchers and itinerary when you check into your first hotel. Also a book advising of travel distances and time, plus suggestions of what to see enroute and once you get to your next destination. It can be tiring we drove over 3600 miles in 2 weeks and some of our destinations required you to be at least moderately fit!!! We had a great time, and would definitely book through this company again
