Wow what an awesome night, great Djs to warm up, followed by support. Stormzy was on top form, great performance, full of energy. Fully got the crowd hyped up.

The lighting & stage visuals were also well put together. Bringing on Ghetts was an added bonus..

Australia + New Zealand February 2024

stormzy international tour

UK rap phenomenon Stormzy returns to Australia + New Zealand for Laneway Festival in February 2024!

A London-based MC of Ghanaian heritage known for his spirited blend of grime, gospel, and R&B, Stormzy is one of the U.K.’s most successful artists, with a trio of chart-topping, widely acclaimed albums to his name. Climbing out of the underground grime scene with a series of triumphant mixtapes, singles, and freestyles, he made his breakthrough in 2017 with his platinum-certified debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer.

Within five years of the release of his debut EP, he was a Glastonbury Festival headliner. His first number one hit single, “Vossi Bop,” preceded his sophomore album, 2019’s Heavy Is the Head. His introspective, ballad-heavy third album, This Is What I Mean, appeared in 2022, and he explored U.K. drill and Afroswing on subsequent singles like 2023’s “Longevity Flow.”

Banksy’s Protest Art, a Brat Bash, and the Return of Paul Mescal’s Tiny Shorts: All the Glastonbury 2024 Highlights

Image may contain Little Simz Clothing Coat Jacket Accessories Bracelet Jewelry Sunglasses Glasses Person and Head

As per British tradition, more than 200,000 people—A-listers among them—decamped to a dairy farm in Pilton, Somerset, over the weekend for Glastonbury, headlined this year by Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA. Catch up on this year’s highlights here.

Little Simz announced herself as a future headliner

The London rapper and former British Vogue cover star played the Pyramid Stage before headliners Coldplay (and later joined them onstage to debut a new track, “We Pray”), but it’s surely just a matter of time before Simz is topping the bill herself. With little in the way of bells and whistles (no choreo here), the star held the Glastonbury crowd transfixed for the duration of her set. “I need you to understand that you are witnessing greatness,” she said on stage. “And I don’t say that with arrogance; I say that with confidence.” Nobody is arguing with her—least of all the music press .

Michael J. Fox made the ultimate guest cameo

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

Perhaps the highlight of Coldplay’s undeniably epic set on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday night? An appearance from special guest Michael J. Fox, who joined the band to play guitar on “Fix You.” The 63-year-old star of Back to the Future , who has been battling Parkinson’s disease for more than 30 years, is key to the band’s origin story, according to frontman Chris Martin, who was inspired by watching Fox’s rendition of “Johnny B Goode” in the classic 1985 film. “Thank you so much, our hero,” Martin said on stage. Even the most committed Coldplay haters couldn’t fail to be moved.

Dua Lipa scheduled in some post-Pyramid down-time

Image may contain Callum Turner Dua Lipa Clothing Footwear Shoe Accessories Glasses Person Teen Adult Hat and Bag

Callum Turner with Dua Lipa, wearing an Ann Demeulemeester leather skirt and The Attico boots, the day after she headlined the Pyramid Stage.

What to do after you’ve smashed the Friday night headline slot on the Pyramid Stage, clad in a “ sexy, strong, cool ” wardrobe of Loewe and Versace? If you’re Dua Lipa, you find boyfriend Callum Turner, spark up a cig, and set about enjoying the rest of the greatest festival on earth as a spectator. She was spied strolling around the VIP area with her beau the day after her barnstorming performance—wearing Ann Demeulemeester, no less.

Paul Mescal packed his micro-shorts

After exposing maximum upper thigh on the front row at Gucci, Paul Mescal brought his signature skimpy shorts to Glastonbury. The star was snapped by his sister Nell Mescal , beaming in a pair of Adidas three-stripe shorts, a baseball cap, and a band tee.

The Irish contingent was strong

Inside Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey’s Classic New England Wedding

Paul was far from the only Irish A-lister on site. As well as Daisy Edgar-Jones, Mescal’s festival crew included his compatriots (and former co-stars) Saoirse Ronan and Andrew Scott. Ronan was later spied belting out “Paradise” from her boyfriend Jack Lowden ’s shoulders during Coldplay’s Saturday night set.

The crowdsurfing was a work of art

Five years after Banksy made Stormzy a stab-proof vest for his stunning headline set on the Pyramid Stage, the guerrilla artist and activist put his always-potent stamp on the 2024 festival, launching an inflatable dinghy filled with dummies dressed as migrants into the crowd during Idles’ Saturday night set. The timing was carefully chosen: not only is the UK days out from an election in which immigration will be a key issue, but the life raft also appeared as the band played “Danny Nedelko,” a track that celebrates diversity and takes aim at the insidious rise of nationalism.

Palestine was a persistent theme

Image may contain Damon Albarn Electronics Speaker Clothing Hat Accessories Glasses Adult and Person

Damon Albarn addressed Palestine—and the importance of voting—when he joined Bombay Bicycle Club on stage in a surprise appearance.

Amongst the usual peace signs and Pride banners, it was impossible to miss the Palestinian flags fluttering in the skies over Worthy Farm this year. Nine months into Israel’s military onslaught in Gaza, several acts felt compelled to make their feelings clear—some more directly than others. There was much to-ing and fro-ing on Twitter over whether Dua (who has publicly called for a ceasefire) did or didn’t deliberately position herself close to a Palestinian flag during her set in order to get it on camera, while Coldplay invited the Chilean-Palestinian singer Elyanna to join them on stage, along with Femi Kuti, for a rendition of their track “Arabesque.” The Irish band Lankum, meanwhile, sang “The Rocks of Palestine” on the Park Stage on Saturday afternoon, a reworking of the traditional folk song “The Rocks of Bawn,” with lyrics acknowledging the suffering in Gaza.

SZA became the first Black woman to headline Glasto since Beyoncé in 2011

SZA closed out the festival by headlining the Pyramid Stage on Sunday night, bringing her sad bangers to Somerset in a set that was beset by technical issues, but nonetheless hypnotic .

Charli XCX brought the Brat mood to Levels

Not sure if you’ve heard but… it’s a brat-girl summer . The mood’s progenitor, Charli XCX, duly pitched up to DJ at Levels in one of the most talked-about sets of the weekend. She even brought out Robyn herself when she played “ With Every Heartbeat .” The only downside? It took place at 12:30 a.m. on a non-televised stage, so you can’t watch it back—which, let’s face it, is quite brat.

A Tom Cruise performance was not on the bill… but it did happen

Image may contain Simon Pegg Tom Cruise Accessories Glasses People Person Clothing Hat Head Adult Face and Fence

From Tay Tay to Coldplay: Tom Cruise with Gillian Anderson and Simon Pegg at Glastonbury.

Just a week after he was seen looking radiantly happy, if somewhat confused, at Taylor Swift’s Wembley gig, Tom Cruise’s musical tour of the UK continued at the festival, where he was filmed launching into a rendition of Oasis’s “Wonderwall” with Simon Pegg and Gillian Anderson. Only at Glasto…

There was an unofficial screening of the England match

Something else that wasn’t on the bill: a Euros screening. England faced Slovakia in the knockout stages at 5 p.m. on Sunday, but it wasn’t being aired at the festival. One Directioner Louis Tomlinson decided to take matters into his own hands, ducking offsite on Sunday morning to buy a flat-screen TV and a generator from Argos, which he set up in the camping area. He was ultimately rewarded for his efforts by Jude Bellingham, who saved the squad from being sent home with a goal in the 95th minute, which was followed by a second in extra time from captain Harry Kane.

Bernhard Langer, DP World Tour, BMW International Open

Fifty years after his European Tour debut, Bernhard Langer will make his final DP World Tour start this week at the BMW International Open in Munich, Germany.

It will mark his 513th start on the European circuit—the tour where he amassed 42 career titles, second only to the late, great Seve Ballesteros.

“I’ve never said goodbye to anything so far in terms of golf; this is going to be a first experience [for me],” Langer told DP World Tour media officials.

“I have a feeling it’s going to be very emotional.”

The two-time Masters champion grew up 45 minutes from Golfclub München Eichenried, the host course of this week’s tournament. His connections to this area run deeper than that, though. Langer worked as an assistant professional at nearby Munich Golf Club, which helped give him his start.

Langer then went on to win 123 times around the world.

He is a Ryder Cup legend, too, having played on Team Europe 10 times, winning six. Langer also captained the Europeans to a dominant victory at the 2004 Ryder Cup, winning 18.5-to-9.5 on American soil—one of the more impressive wins in Ryder Cup history.

He is, without a doubt, Germany’s most accomplished golfer.

So, in an ode to German golf, the DP World Tour paired Langer with fellow countryman Marcel Siem, who won last week’s Italian Open, and Martin Kaymer, who, like Langer, won a pair of major championships. Kaymer won the 2010 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits and the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2.

“It means a great deal just to play in front of the home crowd,” Langer added.

“Hopefully, I can make the cut, but I hear the golf course is a lot longer than it used to be, and that’s a challenge for me.”

BMW International Open - Day one digest

Everything you need to know from day one in Germany.

David Micheluzzi hit the front, Bernhard Langer had a special day on home soil, Matthis Besard made a hole-in-one and Miguel Ángel Jiménez was robbed on day one of the BMW International Open .

Here is everything you need to know from Thursday at Golfclub München Eichenried.

Big finish puts Micheluzzi ahead

Micheluzzi catapulted himself to the top of the leadeboard with a birdie-birdie finish to take a one-shot lead after day one. The Australian rookie has had an indifferent start to life on the DP World Tour that he has called "absolutely terrible" but he made a mockery of that form in Munich. The 27-year-old carded seven birdies and a bogey in a 66 to get to six under and lead the way from Scot Ewen Ferguson, South African Casey Jarvis, England's Frank Kennedy and American Patrick Reed. "It was kind of all over the shop to be honest," he said. "It was a little bit wayward with the swing early and the putter and short game was elite today. On the back nine I gave myself some chances. I know I'm putting it really well at the moment."

Langer gets farewell under way on 'amazing day'

Langer is making his farewell appearance on the DP World Tour this week, 50 years on from his debut in 1974. The 66-year-old parred his first ten holes from the tenth before he bounced back from a bogey at the par-three second with back-to-back birdies at the fourth and fifth to finish with a one-under-par 71. “The atmosphere was unbelievable," he said. "I teed off at 7:40 so I got to tee off at 7:30 in the morning and it seemed like there were thousands of people and the atmosphere was incredible the whole way around. That was just amazing, and we truly enjoyed it. It was great to play with Marcel (Siem) and with Martin (Kaymer) and you know, I said this could be the last time we ever play golf together and that's reality. So, it was an amazing day."

Matthis Besard makes maiden ace

Besard made his first DP World Tour hole-in-one as he hit a perfect seven iron from 161 yards at the par-three 12th. His effort made it 21 aces for the season.

No practice, no problem for Jarvis

Jarvis only arrived in Munich on Wednesday so his first shot hit at Golfclub München Eichenried was his opening tee-shot. The rookie went on to card a bogey-free 67 and joked that maybe, when it comes to preparation, less is more. “That was actually my first time playing it," he said. "I got in yesterday and didn’t play a practice round. I think in the future I should do this more often, only joking. The course is really good, similar to back home to be honest. I played solid."

Behave, golf ball!

In his 721 events so far on Tour, Jiménez will have seen absolutely everything, but that will not make things like this hurt any less. There is no justice in golf.

British rapper Stormzy has cancelled the Australian and New Zealand legs of his tour and pulled out of his headline appearance at Spilt Milk Festival.

The UK grime sensation was set to appear at the music, food and arts festival in Canberra, Ballarat and the Gold Coast in December, after gigs in Sydney, Brisbane , Melbourne, Adelaide , Wellington and Auckland.

But the 29-year-old said he had to cancel due to 'circumstances outside of his control', with rising American star Steve Lacy set to replace him at Spilt Milk.

'You guys have waited so patiently, and I am so sorry that this has to happen after all these ups and downs. I love you guys and I promise I will be back as soon as I can with a show that's bigger and better than ever.'

The king of British rap, who last week won praise for his seven-minute new release Mel Made Me Do It, originally planned his Heavy is the Head world tour for 2020 but it was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Many Spilt Milk ticketholders have been left devastated by the news, with some questioning why he wasn't replaced by another rapper.

Steve Lacy found fame as a member of the popular funk and soul group The Internet and has had chart success with alternative R&B hits including Bad Habits.

'Steve Lacy, a.k.a. the coolest person alive, is joining the Spilt Milk 2022 line-up alongside Flume, The Wombats, FISHER, Spacey Jane and more. Steve will be replacing Stormzy as he unfortunately has had to cancel all of his international tour dates,' a Facebook post from Spilt Milk read.

The festival will be offering refunds for the change in line-up. Tickets will go back on sale on October 6.

Hundreds of fans complained about the line-up change on social media, with one writing: 'You've got to be kidding me.'

'I'm so mad,' added another, while a third said they were 'gutted' and 'beyond disappointed' by the news.

'I've been busting to see Stormzy. What a great start to the day. Don't even want to go now,' one disgruntled festivalgoer wrote.

Taylor Swift's reign continues with the latest leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter kicked off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift released her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, so the Swiftie hype will continue through the summer.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options. You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resumed on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. Multiple shows have age restrictions for younger kids and specifics on seating and adult accompaniment. A few venues check that a ticketholder's ID matches the name on the tickets. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

How to buy tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Original standard tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 sold out long ago for both international and domestic dates. All US tickets and many international tickets were sold through Ticketmaster , although select international locations used different services.

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

On StubHub, UK tour dates come with a note that ticket terms don't permit resale through unauthorized channels and might not be valid for entry. If this ends up being the case, StubHub notes that its FanProtect Guarantee will cover purchasers.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. It's worth noting that some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest European tickets ranged from $239 (Amsterdam, Netherlands on July 4) to £1,279 (London, England on August 19). The latter is around $1,616 in USD. The lowest prices for most shows are around $250 to $1,200. On Vivid Seats , the cheapest tickets for these dates go for $491 and $1,172, respectively.

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,613 (Vancouver, Canada, on December 6) to $2,602 (Indianapolis, Indiana on November 2). Most of the cheapest tickets are priced between $1,600 and $2,300. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets on these dates start at $1,527 and $2,451, respectively. The two resale vendors generally have similarly priced offerings, but this varies from show to show.

Who is opening for Taylor Swift's tour?

Taylor Swift has a variety of opening acts, from up-and-coming singers to established groups. Opening acts vary by date. For the European leg of the tour, Paramore is opening for Swift. In the US and Canada, Gracie Abrams will be the opening act. Earlier in the tour, Swift had Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, MUNA, HAIM, and more open for her.

Will Taylor Swift add more dates to the Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift has already added additional stops to her tour due to popular demand, including her US tour dates this fall. She also added additional dates to some of her European city stops, including bonus performances in France and the United Kingdom, among other locations.

During her 100th show, a mid-June performance in Liverpool, Swift acknowledged that the tour would conclude in December. "The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December," Swift told the crowd in a moment that was widely captured and posted across social media. This statement means that the Eras Tour is unlikely to extend past 2024, but we'll keep this guide updated if Swift announces any changes (or additions) to her tour lineup.

Will The Tortured Poets Department be a part of the Eras Tour?

It's good news for fans of "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift's new album that dropped on April 19, 2024. Swift is incorporating several of the new tracks into the Eras Tour, as evidenced by the first shows of her European leg. "The Tortured Poets Department" songs currently featured on tour include "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Since the Eras Tour is already pretty long, this means that Swift is also cutting down a few songs from past Eras that previously made the tour setlist. The songs that were removed from the setlist include "The Archer," "Long Live," "The 1," "The Last Great American Dynasty," "'Tis the Damn Season," and "Tolerate It."

Where can I stream The Eras Tour concert film?

If you'd rather watch The Eras Tour from home, you could always stream it on Disney+. Check out everything you need to know about streaming The Eras Tour concert film in our guide .

Note: Certain services and regions prohibit the resale of tickets. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal reselling of tickets, and entry into an event is at the venue's discretion.

  • International couples embark on romantic tour in Qingyuan

On Wednesday, one hundred couples from home and abroad start a three-day romantic tour in Qingyuan, northern Guangdong province, exploring the city's natural beauty and experiencing its cultural charm. (Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn)

One hundred couples from countries and regions, including China, South Korea, New Zealand and Nigeria, started a three-day romantic tour on Wednesday in Qingyuan, northern Guangdong Province, exploring the city's natural beauty and experiencing its cultural charm.

According to the event's organizers, the couples will visit centenarians, plant intertwined trees together, taste local black tea, experience the wedding customs of the Yao ethnic group and the traditional long-table banquet, and visit the natural scenery of the Beijiang River during the tour.

"This is our first trip to China, and before this, we knew nothing about Qingyuan," said Ariel Cabiles Timajo from New Zealand.

He has visited over ten countries with his wife, Hanna Kryvonos. Due to the language barrier, they felt nervous and excited before coming to Guangdong.

The couple was amazed at the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, particularly during their visit to two centenarians when they learned that these elders still insist on hand washing their clothes.

"The elders are still living with their families, whereas in the West, parents are often sent to nursing homes — the warmth of family is truly moving," he said.

The tour attracted domestic and international participants, presenting a new opportunity for international tourism and cultural exchange, said Wang Shuopeng, executive president of the Guangdong Tourism Association.

"By focusing on the integration of culture on the foundation of exploring high-quality local natural tourism resources, we aim to provide immersive cultural experiences for domestic and foreign tourists," said Wang.
