Release date: April 2, 2020 The Ferengi Quark -class Marauder is a Tier 6 Battlecruiser / Freighter hybrid which may be flown by characters of any faction . This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [ Infinity Lock Box ] ; it comes in an [ Infinity Prize Pack - T6 Ship ] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Ferengi Quark Marauder [T6]] .

This ship could also be purchased as an account-unlock from the Zen Store as a possible choice from the Mudd's Outta This Wormhole Choice Pack as part of "Mudd's Market", available from March 18th, 2021 to June 10th, 2021. Like all items in the Market, the Bundle periodically goes on massive discounts (upwards of 60% during special promotional sales).

The Quark Marauder also benefits from a large passive boost to the Hull Plating and Armor Reinforcement skills. This bonus is disabled if Battle Mode is activated.

Cyclical Quantum Slipstream Drive is a built-in ability which allows enhanced slipstream Sector Space travel speed for 90 s, with a 30 s cooldown. Travel speeds are listed as Transwarp factors, however the cooldown is not reduced by the trait Well Travelled .

Innovation Effects

The Ferengi Quark -class Marauder features built-in Innovation mechanic which requires activation of three bridge officer abilities corresponding to colors on the Innovation display window. Successfully matching the colors will automatically trigger the available Innovation effect for 10 seconds. One of six possible Innovation effects will be randomly selected each time the Innovation mechanic refreshes.

The Ferengi Quark Marauder utilizes the existing D'Kora Bridge from the Ferengi D'Kora Marauder . This interior has a number of onboard features not available on ship classes other than the Amarie Smuggler's Heavy Escort , Tuffli Class Freighter and Suliban Cell Ship . The ship's owner can access them by selecting " Visit Starship Bridge " on the dropdown menu, and once onboard, can share them with friends by sending Bridge Invitations .

• While the pool of possible assignments is the same, it is possible for the D'Kora Trader and the DS9 Trader to offer a different selection of assignments at any particular time.

T6-X upgrade

By using an [ Experimental Ship Upgrade Token ] , the Ferengi Quark -class Marauder may be upgraded to T6-X , unlocking an extra ship device slot, universal console slot, and the ability to slot an extra starship trait .

Ferengi ships in sto.

Due to a miscalculation on the Ferengi Futures Exchange in early 2409, Urata Manufacturing found itself with an excess of inventory and mounting debt. Desperate to stabilize cash flow, the company attempted to liquidize some of its remaining assets through quiet sales. When this didn't work, the leaders of the company cooked the books, shoving most of their remaining debt onto a little-known subsidiary that specialized in military ships. Then they spun that company, Sluga Military Technology, off as an independent manufacturer. Burdened with Urata Manufacturing's old debts, Sluga seemed doomed to failure. Its stock price dropped so low that it was delisted off of the exchange. Most of the staff abandoned the company. Liquidators were expected any day. That's when the president of the company had a revelation. Half of the quadrant is at war, but the Ferengi Alliance is neutral. It isn't buying more ships for its military. So why not find a way to get these ships to people who need them? As the Rules of Acquisition say, war is good for business! Armed with a unstoppable attitude and a few convenient loopholes in Ferengi law, Sluga Military Technology has teamed up Lobi Crystal Consortium (a wholly owned subsidiary of Quark Enterprises) to put new D'Kora Marauders in the hands of ship captains on the front lines. Fully loaded and ready for battle, these D'Kora Marauders feature everything a Ferengi captain could want, from a Dabo table and onboard Bank, Mail, and Exchange access to the Battle Module 3000, a powerful piece of technology that gives the ship the ability to fire an EMP Burst that will drain power from pursuing enemy ships. But that's not all! When fully engaged, the Battle Module 3000 will transform the D'Kora Marauder, opening several ports and conduits and improving the ship's weapons and engines. The EMP Burst is disabled, but a Swarm Missile System is revealed. After all, "the bigger the smile, the sharper the knife"!

Ferengi Na'Far Shuttles provide profit-seekers an economic and stylish way to zip between investment opportunities at warp speed, without the overhead and crew costs of a full-size vessel. Although not equipped to stand toe-to-toe with most ships of the line, this stalwart vessel can hold its own against shuttles and fighters with ease. Fast and tough, it has bonus Hull Plating and Armor Reinforcements, bonus power to Engines, and is equipped with standard phaser defenses. It comes with a station for Ensign Universal Bridge Officer station. In addition to its standard capabilities, Ferengi Shuttles come equipped with a Metaphasic Shield Array. Activating your Metaphasic Shield reroutes energy from all systems into shields, allowing the Na'Far shuttle to be extremely resistant to incoming damage while also converting a portion of that damage into additional shield power. Although the Metaphasic Shield only lasts a short amount of time, sometimes a few seconds is all you need to live to haggle another day! All Na'Far equipment, including the Metaphasic Shield Array, can only can be used on small craft.

Quark Gets His Own Ship in the Infinity Lock Box!

The Infinity Lock Box, containing prizes from nearly all previously-retired Lock Boxes, will be available again for an appearance on PC. During this time, enemies defeated on both Ground and Space maps will have a small chance of dropping one of these prize-filled packages.

"Home is where the heart is, but the stars are made of latinum." To get you there safely, the Quark Marauder comes standard with a Battle Module 4000. The ultimate in military hardware, the Battle Module 4000 ensures your Quark Marauder is fully equipped to protect all your investments.

Like the D'Kora, the Quark Marauder is a tough ship on its own, but the Battle Module 4000 lets it show its teeth – and we all know that "the bigger the smile, the sharper the knife." The Battle Module 4000 enables your ship to fire an EMP Burst, which will drain the power from pursuing enemy ships. But that's not all! When fully engaged, the Battle Module 4000 will transform your ship, opening several ports and conduits and improving your weapons and engines. The EMP Burst will be disabled in this mode, but a Swarm Missile System is revealed. Lastly, the Battle Module 4000 provides a passive boost to Critical Hit Chance and Accuracy.

This Console Mod can be equipped in any console slot on any Ferengi Marauder or the Ferengi Nandi. You may only equip one of these mods on any single ship.

Battle Mode

The Quark Marauder is a well armored ship. By default, it offers a defensive damage resistance bonus in the form of bonus Starship Hull Plating and Starship Armor Reinforcement skill. The Quark also has access to an aft facing EMP Burst ability.

When Quark’s Battle Mode is activated, the ship transforms. This mode increases the ships Weapon and Engine power but decreases the ships Auxiliary power. Battle Mode also grants a bonus to your Starship Energy Weapons and Starship Projectile Weapons skills and also enables Swarm Missiles. This mode, however, disable the ships EMP Burst, as well as its Starship Hull Plating and Starship Armor Reinforcement skill bonus

EMP Burst is capable of drastically reducing the power levels of most starships as well as reducing their energy recharge and transfer rates. It will also disable their batteries.

This ability fires in a rear-facing arc and will affect any ships behind you up to 5km away. It is not available when in Battle Mode.

Swarm Missiles

Swarm missiles launch a furious hail of small missiles at a single target. This massive weapon has a very long cooldown time, and is not affected by Bridge Officer powers like Torpedo High Yield or Torpedo Spread.

You must be in Battle Mode to activate Swarm Missiles.

Starship Trait – Energy Monopoly

Achieving level 5 in the Ferengi Quark Marauder [T6] Starship Mastery will unlock the Energy Monopoly starship trait. While Energy Monopoly is slotted, using Aceton Beam or Overwhelm Regulators causes you to drain power from your target into your own sub-systems for a short time.

Ferengi D'Kora Marauder

An enigmatic vessel used for battle and transport. Capable of disabling a deflection shield The D'Kora class Marauder is a class of vessel used by the Ferengi Alliance during the 24th century. The presence of the D'Kora class in Star Trek Timelines was first revealed in the video Early Look - Ferengi D'Kora in Star Trek Timelines . During this video, it was revealed that the D'Kora class has a focus on both profit and trading, but also possesses a surprising defensive capability. It was also stated that the Ferengi would have a place in the story of Star Trek Timelines and that players will be able to staff a D'Kora class solely with Ferengi crew. It was also said that every action the D'Kora class can take is from the show, including it's neck extension and aft weapons array.

D'Kora Class

The D'Kora-class Marauder was a type of advanced starship utilized by the Ferengi Alliance during the 24th century.

This class of vessel was, at times, referred to by several classifications, including both a warship and transport ship by the Federation, and as an attack vessel by the Ferengi themselves. (TNG: "Peak Performance", "Force of Nature")

Technical data [ edit ]

During the early 2360s, Starfleet had no specific data on the design of the vessel, and at the time of first contact, possessed the general knowledge that Ferengi technology was estimated to be generally equal, but not identical, to Federation technology. Upon first view of this class vessel in 2364, Jean-Luc Picard described it as a "very impressive design." (TNG: "The Last Outpost")

The D'Kora-class was described by Geordi La Forge as being "almost as fast" as a Galaxy-class Federation starship. (TNG: "Ménage à Troi")

Overall, the class was shorter in length than a Galaxy-class. (TNG: "The Last Outpost")

Tactical systems [ edit ]

The D'Kora-class Marauder was equipped with a variety of phasers, possessing placements for weapon ports at the "claws", positioned on the port and starboard sides, and a torpedo launcher located at the peak of the ship's primary hull. (TNG: "The Last Outpost", "Peak Performance", "Force of Nature") This class of vessel was also equipped with a forward missile launcher. (TNG: "The Price")

In addition, the D'Kora-class was equipped with a form of energy weapon emitted from the aft of the ship, detectable by a marked power surge prior to discharge. The resulting electromagnetic pulse was capable of weakening the deflector shield power of a Galaxy-class starship, as well as the capability of depleting the fusion generator and batteries by as much as thirty percent in a single discharge.
