Extremely fun course and very knowledgeable guys

I just completed my Open water 20 with these guys and couldn’t recommend it enough! The instructors Ian and Shannon were very knowledgeable! They were patient and made sure we were learning safely during our training and that we were taught the right way to dive safely in the future. Matt and Shannon in the shop definitely knew their products! I now own most of the dive products I need for the future at a very reasonable cost! Our last dive in the course was perfect under Swansea bridge. 10m of visibility which allowed us to see plenty of fish, octopus, eels, sting-rays, etc. It solidified the need for me to become a recreational diver. I will deffinitely continue onto more advance courses with snorkel and dive safari swansea near in the future! Thanks guys! It was a brilliant time.

Fantastic choice I'd wholeheartedly recommend for anyone considering delving into scuba diving. Unbelievably great service for me as a complete beginner, from gearing up to learning enough skills to be a confident diver. The four-day course gives you time to really let the skills soak in and go at your own pace. I can't speak highly enough of it, and ideally placed metres from the fantastic bridge dive site.

Our 17 year old was able to do the come try day with these guys. Had an amazing day - wonderful knowledgeable staff made both him and us feel very welcome and comfortable. He is now saving to do his dive course because of the time spent with Swansea snorkel and dive safari. Would recommend to anyone wanting to give it a try.

Did the 20 OW dive course with Matt and Daniel. They were both fantastic and thoroughly covered both the theoretical and practical side of it. Really enjoyed and would recommend. I also saw a sting ray.

i have just completed the open water 20, i was terrified and so nervous. swansea snorkel and dive are an amazing supportive team . From the time i walked into the shop they took time and made me feel at ease, reassuring me and teaching me techniques to help settle my nerves. This truly was one of the best experiences of my life !! my instructors uncle ian and daniel were very knowledgeable and managed to make me feel 100% safe at all times. their passion for teaching scuba really shows. huge thankyou to the swansea team and for showing me a new world of possibilities I'M HOOKED haha :)

When I returned from Fiji after going on 2x try dives, I went searching for a dive shop that would get me in the water and certified ASAP. After visiting a few dive shops in the Newcastle area, I settle with Snorkel safari, after having a brief chat with Matt about my open water 20m course, Matt was happy to answer any questions i had and in great detail too. We booked in my course and the following week I arrived to purchase all my equipment. Again Matt was extremely helpful, giving me helpful advice and spending about half a day with me to ensure I had the right gear that would accomodate me for years to come. The following weekend, I was in the water. Instructors Daniel, Dan, Shannon and Natasja, all amazing at their jobs, the passion for diving really rubs off on you, allowing me to quickly become confident with being underwater and enjoying myself at the time. The open water dives were fantastic, seeing all sorts of sea fauna and flora around the bridge, swansea channel, and moon island... We encountered many port jackson sharks on the sea bed at 15m, spotted a couple of nudibranchs around the swansea bridge and lots of interesting fauna on the swansea channel drift dive, ranging from flathead and flounder, to cuttlefish and various other stuff i could not identify. Overall my experience has been superb, and I will continue to return for many years to come. Now, I'm off to focus on making my SAC small.

I wanted to have a year of experiences for my 40th birthday. My family paid for me to do my 20m open water scuba course...a little nuts given I was scared of fish! But every single person at Snorkel & Dive Safari Swansea were nothing short of amazing! And their recommendation of the 4 day 20m open water course was set at THE perfect pace to build skills and confidence to jump in the water and be fascinated at what is below :) Still on an absolute high after seeing wobbegongs, a hell of a lot of fish, & funky star fish (still can't believe 2 x grey nurse were 5 metres away...thank you for letting me stay watching the pretty starfish instead lol) Looks like I'm not frightened of fish anymore! Thanks to our awesome dive instructor Uncle Ian and the Dive Master trainees. Looking forward to seeing you in the water soon xx

Shannon is fantastic, very knowledgeable and experienced on all things under the water, not to mention friendly. She has dived and instructed all over the world and this experience shows. Her stories are great. She is very obliging, no request is too big or too small. My son and I are beginners, we did our Open Water 20 with Shannon. We recently had trouble with the buckle on our cylinders, Shannon came over to our car and rebuckled the cylinders with a smile and calm explanation. Highly recommended!

Shannon and Matty are so friendly and welcoming.. Definitely know their stuff!! I completed my Open Water 20 with Shannon as the instructor. She was attentive, warm and provided a friendly course where I felt safe and free to ask any questions! It was the best 3 days I've had in a while! So much fun and we seen an array of sealife. Highly Recommend to anyone!!

Matt & Shannon who run this shop are well and truly respected by 100’s of the divers that they have trained as well as having great gear to spend, spend, spend on. The dive trips locally and overseas are superb. I can’t wait to go to the Solomon Islands with them in Sept. I’ve done a lot of diving around the world and these two guys are stand out operators. Social nights are always great fun. Matt and Shannon are generous with their time, their advice and their fun and laughter. Dives under the famous Swansea Bridge teeming with life happen most days. With lots more great dives nearby and a little futher a field. They have every dive course you could think of from Open Water to Dive Master. Drop in and learn to dive or if you already dive you will see what I mean when you meet this lovely couple. Thank you very much.
