Cheapest quote with medical…

Cheapest quote with medical declarations and straightforward to buy. Obviously proof comes when you make a claim- which I hope I won’t need.

Not an easy site to find information or alter or check things

Quote alot dearer than last year, not sure if you gave me my 10% discount even though I typed in the code. I made a mistake but once you quoted me I could not change my medical declaration. Finally, it would be better if once bought a policy you detailed claim thresholds again for future reference , not just the standard criteria. Glad you can insure me though and last year great.

Easy to set up but just a niggle about cruise cover

Very easy to set up. Only niggle is whether we have cruise cover included for Europe. Reading through the policy it only mentions we have cover for worldwide cruises but doesn't mention Europe so I'm not sure

Excellent experience

Having searched for quotes on about 10 travel insurance websites I could not believe the premium from 'Makesure'. Travelling to Vietnam & Cambodia next March, their level of cancellation cover was the highest and sufficient to cover the holiday cost for both of us. The premium was under £350. The website was easy to navigate and the whole exercise was very user friendly. Well done Makesure.

Excellent prices

Just used this company for the first time and I have to say the price I paid for 2 weeks in the Caribbean was excellent considering I have a couple of minor health problems and I am 76 years old much lower than anywhere else I tried Some quotes were ridiculous prices nearly as much as the holiday which I was not prepared to pay Also the website is very easy and clear to use and I am no computer boffin Obviously I haven't made a claim and fingers crossed I won't have to but at the present time I would certainly recommend this company

Cheapest by a big margin for my 90 year old Mum. Fingers crossed I don’t need to make a claim, but it is very reassuring to have the cover in place. Makesure will insure up to age 99. There’s not a lot of choice for older people with some pre-existing conditions, but I am pleased with what we bought.

Easily booked online including existing conditions. Good price. I also had the option to pay a bit extra to cover any excess. I have previously purchased travel insurance with Make Sure and unfortunately had to make a claim. They were excellent.

OK, but no auto renewal option

Link in email reminder was broken. Website did not have a "renew" option had to start new quotation although 10 % discount for renewing was applied. Other than that it was fine although 65% price increase from last year disappointing

Great value

It was easy to fill in all the details required, including medical conditions. Even better it was by far the best value as every other insurance company wanted nearly twice what I paid to Makesure Insurance.

Treated a customer as they should

Renewal quote having not claimed was actually cheaper as you would expect but is rarely the case with insurers. Lady I spoke to on the phone was very friendly, professional and efficient.

Good service like old times

What a change to have your phone call answered and not have to wait ages for a response also your employees are very courteous. Shock at the price gone up pity you dont have ano claim bonus. Easy does it holiday insurance.

Easy to fill in my medication and choose off the list why I take each one. So making my application for holiday insurance easy. The quote was acceptable.

Too early to review

Would like to give a good review but asking how well a service company is doing when I have not yet used the service is a bit pointless. So far this company offered the best deal for single trip insurance although still very expensive

Huge price increase

I was rather shocked that my insurance policy had increased by over £100 from last year, despite my medical conditions not having changed in the last year! Nor had I made a claim.

I had requested when I renewed my…

I had requested when I renewed my insurance that the documents be sent to me by mail as I don’t have a printer. I was promised they would be sent, but I never got them. Two weeks laterI phones them up to ask why they were not sent. I was told by a very rude lady that they were sent on my email. I explained that I cannot read the small print on my phone email and hence had requested paper copy. Ahe said ok they will post it. That was over a week ago and am still waiting. Very disappointed

Excellent Value

I have an array of medical conditions and Makesure was almost half the price of every other travel insurance company. I was initially sceptical but after calling the customer service number I was immediately reassured due to the excellent service I received. I haven’t made a claim, and hopefully never will, so I can’t comment on how a claim is handled, however, I can say that the cost of travel insurance for those with pre existing conditions is currently the best on the market.
