Hello, the staff are fine, a very pleasant bunch, and a pleasant flight. However, my bug bear is that you don't cater for people who are intolerant and have allergies. For example, gluten free, dairy free people. You could always have some frozen bread which is gluten free and dairy free and toast it. It is just a suggestion. However, I would definitely recommend your company.

Lost holiday

I was looking to book two holidays..one to Jersey and the other too Sharm el sheikh. Keith the agent gave me a price for the Jersey hoilday which was the price that had been advertised on line so I went ahead and booked it..he couldn't book the Sharm el sheikh at the Cleopatra luxury hotel which he quotes £399.he was going to ring me back in approximately 30/45 .that was at 11.45 he e.mailed me at 17.03 to say that the holiday was now priced at £499.needless to say I wasn't happy. My point being if he had taken my booking at 11.45 I would have paid £399. Will not be booking with them again.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

• Suppliers: Your personal information will only be shared with suppliers relevant to your booking, and where your booking cannot be fulfilled without your information being provided, e.g. your flight operator, hotel, transport provider, etc. Only the information that is necessary to deliver your travel will be shared.
• Payment Providers and other financial institutions: If you request a chargeback for your booking, it may be necessary for us to share certain reservation details with the payment service provider and the relevant financial institution so they can handle the chargeback. This may include a copy of your booking confirmation or the IP address that was used to make your reservation.
• Any law enforcement body, regulator, government agency, court or other third party where we believe disclosure is necessary as a matter of applicable law or regulation or to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights

What do we do with your personal data?

Once we have collected your information, it will be used for the following purposes:

• Booking travel arrangements:  We will use your personal data to provide to you the services that we sell, which may include flights, hotels, transport, and other ancillary products. We would not be able to fulfil our contract with you without this information.
• To communicate with you in relation to your holiday: We will use the contact information you have previously shared with us to communicate with you in relation to your holiday and to provide you with information relevant to your holiday. This may include information about your destination, security alerts, and reminders of balance payments due.
• Customer Services:  We will use the information that you have provided to respond to any requests or queries you may have. If contact is by telephone, your call may be recorded for quality control and training purposes.
• Marketing: Where you have booked with us and you have not opted out of future contact, we may contact you by telephone e-mail, post or text message, to provide information about other goods and services that we offer that we think will be of interest to you.
• Promotional: If you participate in a promotion, such as a survey or competition, we will use the information you provide to carry out that promotion.
• Consent: You will be asked for your consent for us to provide you with future marketing information. You can opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by contacting our Customer Services department.
• Legal and Vital requirements: We sometimes have a legal obligation to collect personal data from you, e.g. to comply with tax laws, or where we need your personal data to protect your vital interests or those of another person, e.g. if you are involved in an accident or emergency in resort.

How and where will your data be processed?

Any information that we hold about you is stored on our secure servers and all payment transactions are encrypted. Only authorised personnel are permitted to access personal data in the course of their work. Whilst we do our best to protect your personal data, no information transferred over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure and you provide your information at your own risk.

When your credit card details are required as part of the booking process, we store the last 4 digits and an authorisation code. In the case of some low-cost airlines, we will use the payment details you provide to purchase the flight seats on your behalf.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), including (in some instances) where we transfer your data to our suppliers so that they can assist us with providing our services to you. Where your information is transferred outside of the EEA, we will take steps to ensure that the information receives the same level of protection as if it remained within the EEA, including by entering into data transfer agreements, using the EU Commission approved Standard Contractual Clauses, or by relying on certification schemes such as the EU-US Privacy Shield. Retention of your personal data

Just returned from a lovely trip to…

Just returned from a lovely trip to Porto and Lisbon with friends. A big thanks to Shalini at Jetline who went out of her way to change the holiday format to fit our dates. Both hotels were perfect for our 6 day trip and Shalini also made sure we had 1st class train journeys between the cities. Loved both Porto and Lisbon.

Hello, the staff are fine, a very pleasant bunch, and a pleasant flight. However, my bug bear is that you don't cater for people who are intolerant and have allergies. For example, gluten free, dairy free people. You could always have some frozen bread which is gluten free and dairy free and toast it. It is just a suggestion. However, I would definitely recommend your company.

Terrible - do not use. No customer service and continual lies. Even after 8 months I am still waiting for a "partial" refund for a cancellation which wasn't our fault. I've spent hours trying to resolve this and to this day still haven't received a penny from them.

Dealt with Samuel for our 50th Wedding Anniversary 5 day break to Jersey. Samuel dealt with my reguests efficiently and with patience too. Lost holiday

I was looking to book two holidays..one to Jersey and the other too Sharm el sheikh. Keith the agent gave me a price for the Jersey hoilday which was the price that had been advertised on line so I went ahead and booked it..he couldn't book the Sharm el sheikh at the Cleopatra luxury hotel which he quotes £399.he was going to ring me back in approximately 30/45 .that was at 11.45 he e.mailed me at 17.03 to say that the holiday was now priced at £499.needless to say I wasn't happy. My point being if he had taken my booking at 11.45 I would have paid £399. Will not be booking with them again.

This is my first experience with Jetline Vacations. I am a little nervous after reading previous reviews. The price is right and Smith made the process easy. Ash had to really work to get two…

Ash had to really work to get two itineraries originating from 2 different states to coordinate within our budgets. He stayed with it and he didn't give up, although I wanted to at one point! Edward at Jet Line was very good by making clear our holiday itinerary and the extra cost involved.We did find the initial cost advertising the holiday quite different to the final figure.We think the likes of transfers ,flight and. Trip costs etc should be made clearer.

Booking efficient and easy. Abbie was fine. However the booking was with Elegant Getaways , which I did not realise was Jetline Holidays. Everything good but if had known this was the same company, I would have tried to book through Nikita - which I had promised.Still I am sure the holiday will be as good as our previous trip to Venice.

Good value and efficient service

Good value and efficient service. We made up our minds on resort and Nile cruise but when went to book the agent made upgrade suggestions at different hotel and boat so it felt a bit stressful as we’d not looked into them. But hopefully we trust his guidance and they will be better options for not much more.

Main departure and arrival points for Alaska cruises

Alaska cruises differ to most cruise holidays as they tend to be round trips, which is good news for you as it means flight tickets will be cheaper and booking can be less hassle. The majority of Alaskan cruises start in the US or Canada which means you will have a fantastic opportunity to start or end your trip with an exploration of iconic landmarks, regional cuisine, and the culture of exciting cities. There is a delightful choice of Vancouver, Chicago, Seattle, or San Francisco. Or for something truly extraordinary you could book the only cruise which starts in Reykjavik, Iceland and ends up in Vancouver with Royal Caribbean. 

Alaska Cruise Add-Ons

The great advantage of going on an Alaska cruise which starts or ends in Seattle of Vancouver is that you can add on a train trip to the Canadian Rockies, considered one of the greatest journeys in the world. You pass through parks which have been given the UNESCO World Heritage classification for the area’s “exceptional natural beauty”. Trips usually from 4-7 days.

The best time to cruise Alaska

Alaska cruises start from late April to September and it will be a remarkable trip no matter the month you choose. However, there are best times to go, depending on your priorities. 

On a budget or want to avoid the crowds? Due to the unpredictable weather, late April, May, and September are the least popular months to visit Alaska and therefore tend to be cheaper. May, in particular, is considered offseason and prices tend to be the lowest. Due to the changeable weather, there is a chance that shore excursions could be canceled unfortunately offering a little less opportunity to see the wildlife. 

Alaska’s warmest months? June to August is Alaska’s warmest period with temperatures ranging from 60 – 70 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it is worth noting that the temperature in Alaska is changeable;  the day may start out cold, even freezing and by the afternoon you could be treated to glorious sunshine. The sun sets very late in Alaska, at around 8 pm - 10 pm, so you can enjoy many hours of beautiful views. 

Passionate about wildlife? In Alaska, you can catch a glimpse of some amazing wildlife all year round, but if it is bears you are looking for, you are most likely to see them during the salmon runs during July and August. This is also the time seals and sea lions give birth, which is an amazing sight to behold. 

Due to the variety of whales inhabiting the waters surrounding Alaska, you should be able to spot them anytime, especially if you go on a specific whale excursion. Don't forget to ask our specialist about these!

See the Northern Lights

It's not guaranteed, but there is a chance you could glimpse the elusive 'Aurora borealis in September.

A few things to note... Expect the weather to change rapidly during your Alaska cruise, it could be scorching and then suddenly become extremely windy and cold. We recommend wearing layers that can quickly be shed or put on, and make sure to also pack waterproof clothes. It is also worth noting that you will also be in freezing conditions when viewing the glaciers and will, therefore, need thermal wear. 

You may be disappointed if you forget to bring binoculars as they will allow you to really zoom in on the spectacular wildlife. We would also recommend investing in a high-quality pair of polarized sunglasses to cut the glare on the ice and see all the colours vividly.
