Nærøyfjord - narrow and dramatic 

The Nærøyfjord is the narrowest, wildest and most famous of the fjord arms, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The surrounding mountains rise steeply to reach towering heights and create a unique magical atmosphere. Fjord cruise on the unesco protected geirangerfjord.

A Fjord Cruise between Geiranger and Hellesylt is a great way to see the Geirangerfjord and the surrounding nature with numerous waterfalls and steep mountains.

You will experience “the Seven Sisters” and “the Bridal Veil” waterfalls close up.

The tour takes approximately one hour, and you can bring your car. You can do the cruise both ways or one way from Geiranger or Hellesylt.

“Norway in a Nutshell Tour” to the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord

Norway in a nutshell, from Oslo or Bergen to Flåm and the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord. The Nærøyfjord is a branch of the 204 kilometer long Sognefjord, “the King of the Fjords”.

Tour Summary:   Train on the Bergen Railway from Oslo  or  Bergen  via the wild and beautiful Flåm Railway to  Flåm  by the Aurlandsfjord. Then fjord cruise on the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord.

Another possibility is a train on the Bergen Railway from Oslo or Bergen to Voss, a bus from Voss to Gudvangen , a fjord cruise on the Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord from Gudvangen to Flåm and a train on the Flåm Railway from Flåm to Myrdal.

Return to Oslo or Bergen:   Bus from Gudvangen to Voss, then train from Voss on the Bergen Railway to Oslo or Bergen.

Another possibility is train on the Flåm Railway from Flåm to Myrdal and a train on the Bergen Railway from Myrdal to Oslo or Bergen.

Ferry trip on the Sognefjord between Kaupanger and Gudvangen

Kaupanger is one of two ports where the iconic ferry trip on the inner part of the Sognefjord departs and arrives. This is a two and a half hour long fjord cruise on the Sognefjord and the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord , between Kaupanger and Gudvangen .

Go Hardangerfjord and Vøringsfossen

This tour from Go Fjords takes you to Hardanger, Norway`s orchard. You will experience the Hardangerfjord , the Queen of the Fjords. You will see picturesque villages along the fjord and a beautiful lush landscape with waterfalls, rivers and steep mountains.

Cider Cruise on the Hardangerfjord

In summer, you can take part in a Cider Cruise on the Hardangerfjord, where you can combine a fjord cruise in beautiful nature with a visit to some of the local farms along the fjord. The selected fruit and berry farms grow apple trees, plums and sweet cherries and produce short-travelled ciders where you can both taste and buy the local cider products. The cider cruise runs between Eidfjord and Odda and also stops in Ulvik, Lofthus, Aga, Nå and Tyssedal.

Fjord Cruise from Bergen to Osterfjord and Mostraumen

Fjord cruise on the Hardangerfjord from Bergen to Rosendal

Join a fjord cruise on the Hardangerfjord to beautiful Rosendal. This fjord cruise starts in Bergen, you get to experience the idyllic archipelago and the Hardangerfjord which is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and mighty waterfalls.

You have three hours to explore Rosendal on your own while the boat is waiting at the quay. You can explore the Barony in Rosendal with its magnificent garden which is full of beautiful and fragrant flowers. The Barony is Scandinavia’s smallest castle and was finished built in 1665 AD. Go Lysefjord and Preikestolen

This fjord cruise from Go Fjords takes you from Stavanger to the Lysefjord and Preikestolen in Ryfylke. Here you can see the famous tourist attraction Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) from the fjord.

Preikestolen in Ryfylke is a flat plateau at about 25 times 25 meters, raging 604 meters vertically above the fjord.
