We accept bookings per deck. Which ever you book you will be allocated. 

Lower deck has fully panoramic floor to ceiling windows.

Guests from the lower deck can go upstairs anytime to take photos.

Buffet is served on both decks, live show is performed on both decks.

A “ Dhow ” is a traditional wooden vessel that is common in the  Middle East  and has been used historically for a variety of purposes, primarily for trading.

Dhows are made in a variety of sizes and in the  UAE  have been most used for trade between UAE and Iran aswell as for  pearl diving .

Over the last decade the demand for dhows has gone down and has been replaced by more modern vessels.

Nonetheless, Dhows have played a cruicial role in the history and evolution of the gulf and are iconic as a mode of sea transportation.

In the last couple of decades, a lot of the ‘Dhows’ have been repurposed for tourism purposes, one of them being dhow cruise dinners.

In the 90’s, some entrepreneurs began converting the larger dhows that were traditionally used for trading into refurbished floating restaurants that would operate dinner cruises in the  Dubai Creek .

That segment has grown and over many years has evolved into a rather important and iconic type of tourist attraction in  Dubai .

Starting with only handful of Dhows in early 90’s the segment has grown into over 30 dhows in the Creek and 8 in Dubai Marina.

One the elements of the Dhow Cruise ‘culture’ has been to have live entertainment onboard in a variety of forms.

Originally, belly dancing was most common, but with time, Dubai Government has been eliminating this form of entertainment and has now been almost entirely replaced by ‘Tanura’ – a traditionally Turksih dance that is usually performed by a male dancer that is spinning in a flowing and elaborately decorated dress, creating a very interesting sight.

The dinner cruise in Dubai Marina as a concept began in 2010 with some operators bringing the dhow boats to Dubai Marina and operating floating restaurants. The Dhow Cruise Marina attraction began gaining momentum and popularity and currently is a household product among inbound tour operators in Dubai.

Today, the dinner cruise in Dubai Marina is considered to be a much more upscale option that any other area in Dubai.

Alexandra was one of the first boats that began its operations as far back as 2009.

Well, this  article  will give you a very detailed answer, but funadmentally – the main difference is location.

Dubai Creek is the old part of town, and Dubai Marina is a new area in Dubai.

Fundamentally, that is the only difference, and the difference then lies in the actual operators of each boats. There are many good boats in Dubai Creek and some in Dubai Marina.

It must be noted however that Dubai Marina has MUCH less boats 8 versus more than 25 in the Creek.

As a rule of thumb, the quality of operators in Dubai Marina on average is higher, due to the the higher parking fees and the need to compensate by attracting a higher quality clientele.

Despite the above, Dubai is sometimes shrouded by misconceptions, says Isabella Sullivan, founder and editor of Near+Far , a travel magazine for modern Middle East travelers. “The first misconception is that it’s all glossy, fake, and superficial, which couldn’t be further from the truth," she told Travel + Leisure . Another misconception is that it’s not a safe place to visit. On the contrary, Dean Hayter, travel product manager at Origin , says that “living in Dubai is the safest I have ever felt in any city."

“I am probably at my happiest when wandering in Old Dubai’s streets, sikkas (alleys), and souks , which are swarming with activity," says Badran of Wander With Nada. "The labyrinthine souks are where everyone wants to sell you something; ‘Shakira’ and ‘professor’ are heard countless times, as vendors appear to have unanimously agreed it's the best way to capture customers’ attention. People duck into beckoning small shops where stools are commonplace, as is a cup of chai, and every transaction involves a lengthy bargaining debate. Sounds of carts mingle with scents of aromatic spices and musky perfume."

Explore Al Serkal Avenue.

Al Serkal Avenue is an industrial warehouse district that has been transformed into a creative hub. “It’s an oasis of art, community spaces, and all things quirky," says Badran. "To visit is to be transported to another world of art galleries, cozy cafes, boutique shops, and plenty more." The venue's galleries are open to the public at no cost, and it's fun to wander here even if you’re not an art buff.

Go on a desert adventure.

The GOAT Boat Supper Club, featuring a delectable dinner from Chef David Burke ’s popular Union Beach Italian-American hotspot, The Goat by David Burke will set sail for its second outing on Sunday, July 7.  The three-hour cruise out of Atlantic Highlands Marina will offer dancing under the stars on Teal Cruises’ 86-foot Festiva, in addition to stunning sunset vistas across Sandy Hook Bay, while the affable Burke will personally orchestrate the evening.

The dinner-dance cruise priced at $165 per person, including tax and gratuity, will begin with a choice of a welcome aboard glass of Champagne or wine for mingling indoors and out on Festiva’s two public decks, along with munching on the intriguing, strategically placed relish trays,.   Dinner will commence with two top Burke signatures, his ever popular popovers and sensational  Clothesline Bacon, followed by a seasonally sensitive Watermelon, Asparagus & Crab Salad ,  topped by burrata.  For the main course will embrace a “surf-n’-turf” theme embodied by Braised Short Ribs and Shrimp Scampi.  The dinner will conclude with Key Lime Pie from  Dixie Lee Bakery by David Burke   made according to the same recipe that has been enchanting sweet tooths for nearly a century.

“The first GOAT Boat cruise, complete with wooden goat on the bowsprit, was a blast.  Couldn’t have asked for a better combination of venue, food and people, including Teal Cruises’ incredible crew who deliver great hospitality,” said Burke.
