Chester Zoo is great but its a lot of walking round. Does have the plus point though of a playground to let off steam in and there's dinosaurs there over the summer. If you live near by its worth knowing Knowsley are doing an offer on season tickets at the moment - £20 per adult and £16 per child so good value if you might visit a few times.
