Blossoms was a good gig, however my friends and I waited at one of the two entrances at the venue (and we were the first people there) but got let in after the people, at the other entrances, who weren't the first people, and didn't wait for 7 hours like us. The venue should give wristbands that have numbers on for the first few people in order to let the first people get in first not people who turned up half an hour before the gig started. Blossoms was an interactive band and greeted fans who waited outside for ages. Rory Wynne the support act was very friendly and approachable when I met him after the gig and his performance was very good. His passive attitude towards the person who insulted him during his performance made him a more likable person. Especially the fact that his performance after that remained great. Cabbage was good but their stage stunt was very confusing though they were very entertaining.

I consider myself bit of a fan of Blossoms and this was my 4th time seeing them live, ‎however I can’t say I was particularly blown away by them at this gig. I did enjoy the ‎gig and each song was catchy, delivered effortlessly with the crowd singing along ‎especially to Blow. The thing for me however was when lead singer Tom Ogden ‎asked the crowd if it was ok to slow things down and I thought to myself it probably ‎needs speeding up. ‎

They have a good catalogue of songs, perfect for radio probably and I like each one ‎but when it came to playing them live I personally thought there was a slight lack of ‎energy and charisma. This is still a band in their infancy to a degree however and ‎they are on a roll so I am sure they will get better and better. ‎

I became aware of Blossoms about a year ago, heard a few songs on the radio but never really listened to their first album but I absolutely loved ‘I Can’t Stand It’, the first release of their new album ‘Cool Like You’ so when I saw they were performing at the O2 Forum Kentish Town I booked a couple of tickets and so glad I did.

They were sat next to us in the restaurant before the gig and they are such nice guys.

Incredibly impressed with their performance, musically and vocally they were flawless, the guitar changes were slick. I would say this is the best live performance I’ve ever seen, in 25 years of concert going. They seem to have an huge stage presence and calm maturity, I hope they go far.

Will definitely be keeping an eye out for future gigs.

Ok ... so the 3rd time ive seen The Blossoms and still not sure. Twice supporting The Charlatans who are just Fantastic live and now headlining at Keele. They are certainly more polished ... more professional and thank the Lord the anarexic lead singer seemed to enjoy himself. But OMG the lead guitar bloke ... boy ... needs a lesson in how to smile ... He was sullen the first time I saw Blossoms worse 2nd time and just awful to witness this time around. I like to see a band enjoy themselves ... such as recently witnessed Pigeon Detectives at Stoke Sugarmill....

The sell out crowd loved it but I was .... unmoved.

Seen Blossoms 3 times now and - ok - so each time the gig has been quite similar ie Tom Ogden asks the audience if any of them have ever been dumped by their girlfriend/boyfriend, although generally there isn't much chat with the crowd.

However, there's something about the catchy melodies that makes me want to see them again and,judging by the crowd response, they seemed to be enjoying the music too. Their sound at the most recent gig at The Roundhouse, London, did sound a bit heavier towards the end and I definitely liked a lot.

Blossoms are the best band from stockport the gig was so brilliant I love Tom Ogden Joe Donovan Josh Dewhurst Charlie Salt and Myles Kellock I was hoping to meet the band but sadly I didn't get a chance I a so upset angr6 and very very gutted and I still am very sad of not meeting or talking to me I wished I lived in stockport so I could of been near my favourite boys I need a backstage pass how can i get one please please help in am in desperate need of meeting blossoms I need them.

I've seen Blossoms 4 or 5 times but this time at Brixton Academy, they were definitely more slick with more lighting and improved sound quality. However, there is very little chat between songs but they do get the crowd on their side immediately. If you like a good indie type band then I recommend Blossoms.

Will definitely see them again. It's good to see how they are progressing.

it was the best experience of my intire life, such an amazing atmosphere. Blossoms were absolutely incredible!!! The support acts weren't really my cup of tea, Rory Wynne was really rude; good music but he put me off. Cabbage we're okay, not really what i'm into but semi-good music. Overall, really good venue and amazing music to go with it, great night!!!

"I need time to heal this heart, unspoken, broken. I keep myself awake at night thinking of ways to make it right". When I listen to Blossoms I feel spring in my heart and soul. But when they hit the stage the effect doubles or even triples. Tenderness of their songs calms and heals, and I have nothing else to wish for.

The Stockport five put on a great show, with Tom owning the stage as a great front man and the rest of the boys acing their roles in the band. They succeeded in getting the crowd going and getting the whole place singing their hearts out. All in all it was an absolutely class night I'd recommend to anyone.

Blossoms reveal Oasis reunion tour teaser at Wythenshawe Park gig was surprise

Entertainment Correspondent Caroline Whitmore spoke to Tom and Joe from Blossoms about their upcoming tour and that Oasis teaser announcement.

Blossoms have admitted that the Oasis teaser announcement made at their recent gig in Manchester was as much of a surprise to them as the audience.

The Gallagher brothers, who are from Manchester, used the indie band's Wythenshawe Park concert to tease their reunion.

But the lead singer of Blossoms Tom Ogden said they have no idea what the cryptic announcement would be.

It comes as the band announce five gigs in Manchester this November.

He said "We finished our set and ran around to the barrier, because at this point we didn't know what it was.

"We kind of just missed the end of it, but by that point everyone knew it was the Oasis font and everyone knew they were teasing the gig announcement that came a few days later.

"So even to be a part of that was exciting."

It ended what they described as "our best ever gig" at Wythenshawe Park in August 2024

The ‘Oasis Live 25’ world tour has sold out all of its initially shared 14 stadium dates – set to take place between Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in summer 2025.

Extra London shows have since been announced, and tickets were sold via a private ballot.

Blossoms are supporting Liam Gallagher at a gig in Malta, coinciding with the release of their new album ‘Gary’ on Friday, 20 September, which will be their fifth in 10 years.

The title track 'Gary' is based on a true story that Tom heard on the radio.

When he heard that Gary, the eight foot fibreglass Gorilla had been stolen from a garden centre in Scotland he thought the story had to be told.

"I went home and I was reading about the story online and I just started writing the song, as a laugh", he said.

"It turned out to be a good song, it was catchy and had a vibe. I sent it to the lads, and they probably thought 'this is mad', but they liked it."

The band say that while the album also contains more "deep and meaningful songs, it is always good to have a song you can just put on and sing with your mates."

When they were looking to film the music video for the title track they looked towards their friend and fellow North West artist Rick Astley.

Blossoms played alongside Rick Astley at Glastonbury in 2023 and have stayed friends, and say he was keen to have a laugh and take part in the video.

Tom said: "We had become friends with Rick Astley, so I said I think we should ask Rick Astley to play Mr Scott.

"So I rang Rick and he said 'I'm in Manchester next week let's do it'. We took him to Brookside Garden Centre and got him on the miniature railway."

As part of the album launch Blossoms have announced their UK and Ireland tour.

The band are playing dates in Manchester that will be a journey through the venues as their careers took off, including The Ritz and The Apollo.

Tom Ogden and drummer Joe Donavan said: "We wanted to do something different, so it's like a tour of Manchester and how we worked our way up so like the Ritz, The Albert Hall, Academy, Victoria Warehouse and the Apollo.

"It was just a different way to approach doing some shows in Manchester and also playing some Of those smaller venues again that we have not played for ages, they are really special.

"Taking the production that we had at Wythenshawe into those venues, we will put everything into it.

"If I was a fan of a band and they did something like that I would really enjoy it"

The likes of Neon Waltz, The K’s and The Lottery Winners will serve as opening support on select dates.

Blossoms tour kicks off on 17 October and tickets for their Manchester gigs will go on sale on Friday, 20 September.

Blossoms announce UK and Ireland tour dates this October and November

"We can’t wait to play the new tunes and all your favourites at these great venues in a couple of months"

Blossoms have announced they’ll be embarking on a headline UK tour this autumn.

To celebrate the release of their new album ‘Gary’ , the indie rock outfit will make stops in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Glasgow in October and November, which the band said they’ve “been waiting to announce” for a while.

“This album was recorded live so we can’t wait to play the new tunes and all your favourites at these great venues in a couple of months,” they said. “Gary might even be at some (depending on venue stage heights)!”

Tickets are on general sale here from 9.30 AM on Friday, August 23, and you can pre-order the album here for access to the presale on Wednesday, August 21. Full tour dates are listed below, with support coming from Red Rum Club for all dates except Liverpool, Belfast and Dublin and Keyside for Liverpool only.

The band announced ‘Gary’ back in June, with the forthcoming LP marking their fifth studio album, and the long-awaited follow-up to 2022’s  ‘Ribbon Around The Bomb’.

It is set to arrive on September 20, and produced by the frequent collaborator James Skelly of  The Coral , alongside  Jungle ’s Josh-Lloyd Watson. The latter also produced with the band on both ‘What Can I Say After I’m Sorry?’ and ‘Nightclub’.

The new album will also see Tom Odden and co. join forces with BRIT -nominated singer-songwriter  CMAT , who has co-written two tracks, titled ‘I Like Your Look’ and ‘Why Do I Give You The Worst Of Me?’, on the record.

Blossoms  started teasing new music in June, when they encouraged fans to call a mysterious hotline . The Stockport outfit advertised the number with a video featuring a tow truck driving down a road with a giant gorilla statue on its back end, along with the number.

Writing on Instagram following the announcement of the album, they said: “The heart of this record is us 5 recording live in a room together for the first time in years. We wanted to capture that energy of what it’s like when 5 friends decide to start a band and make music together.”

Jane's Addiction cancels rest of tour after Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro fight

Jane's Addiction is canceling the remainder of its tour after singer Perry Farrell was seen punching guitarist Dave Navarro at a Boston concert on Friday.

The band announced the decision Monday in a post on social media , noting they "made the difficult decision to take some time away as a group" and they "will be cancelling the remainder of the tour."

"Refunds for the cancelled dates will be issued at your point of purchase – or if you purchased from a third-party resale site like StubHub, SeatGeek, etc, please reach out to them (directly)," the band wrote.

Dave Navarro blames Jane's Addiction tour cancellation on Perry Farrell: 'We hope that he will find the help he needs'

While the statement shared to the band's social media didn't place blame, a more in-depth message posted to Navarro's personal accounts puts the tour cancellation on Farrell .

"Due to a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrell, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to discontinue the current US tour," the statement reads.

"Our concern for his personal health and safety as well as our own has left us no alternative. We hope that he will find the help he needs," the statement continues. "We deeply regret that we are not able to come through for all our fans who have already bought tickets. We can see no solution that would either ensure a safe environment on stage or reliably allow us to deliver a great performance on a nightly basis.

"Our hearts are broken," the statement ends, signed "Dave, Eric and Stephen."

The band previously issued a statement on its Instagram story Saturday, according to CNN and Variety . "We want to extend a heartfelt apology to our fans for the events that unfolded last night," the band wrote, adding that, in light of the scuffle, it had canceled its show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on Sunday.

On Sunday, Navarro posted a black-and-white Instagram photo of himself with the caption, "Goodnight..."

USA TODAY has reached out to the band's rep for comment.

Dave Navarro, Perry Farrell fight during Jane's Addiction concert in Boston

According to concert footage shared by fans, the band's concert in Boston was halted and came to a dramatic end when Farrell shoved and punched Navarro. Farrell was restrained by crew members and a man who appeared to be bassist Eric Avery as he threw punches and was pulled away from Navarro.

Jane's Addiction was on a reunion tour with their four original members: Farrell, Navarro, Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins. The band is best known for heading the alternative rock wave in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its hit songs include "Jane Says," "Been Caught Stealing" and "Mountain Song."

Navarro exited the band in 2022 due to COVID-19 complications, with Farrell telling the New York Post that he wished he "would have my dear guitar player around" for the band's tour. Navarro returned for this reunion tour, which kicked off in August.

Jane's Addiction has bid farewell and reunited a number of times through the years. The band's original farewell tour launched the very first Lollapalooza in 1991.

Farrell is  central to a buzzy Sundance documentary that premiered earlier  this year about the Chicago music festival  aptly called "Lolla."  He is the main voice of the three-episode doc,  which is streaming now on Paramount+ .

The film details how Lollapalooza helped break bands like Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor shares a great story about their first set), Pearl Jam, and Green Day but also became a symbol for selling out.

Why type of buses does USA Guided Tours use?

Our luxury tour buses provide a comfortable and climate-controlled environment for an enjoyable touring experience, while also offering protection from the elements. We cater to various group sizes with a diverse fleet of vehicles, from SUVs to premium motor-coaches, ensuring that our private tours can be customized for couples or large groups alike. To maintain a more intimate atmosphere on our public tours, we intentionally limit the capacity of our tour buses to keep the average group size small. We do our best to keep large, same-party groups together on the same bus, but please remember that the seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you claim your seats – they’re reserved only for you for the duration of the tour.

Are we allowed to bring luggage on the tour?

Unfortunately, our shuttles are not wheelchair accessible, nor is there storage for baby strollers. If you have a wheelchair, please call us to make special vehicle arrangements for your tour. Some of our tours involve longer walks so if you like, you may stay on board the shuttle, near the landmark, without exiting the shuttle bus every time.
