Our “Virtual Tours” are not just streamed videos, but interactive with a “live” guide using Zoom . You will need a group of 5 or more adults – but they can be on multiple Zoom connections.

Although the guides are unpaid volunteers, we do need to charge a small amount for the Administration of the tours and 50p per adult being donated to the respective Museum/institution.

For virtual tours the cost is  – Adults £3.00 per tour, children (5-15 years) 50p per tour.

For in-person tours the cost is usually – Adults £5.00 per tour, children (5-15 years) 50p per tour , but some locations outside the British Museum charge entrance fees, so please check the individual tour details.

Please note that the telephone and email systems are not manned outside UK office hours.

Magnify Bible Tours

Magnify Bible Tours offer faith-strengthening tours for Jehovah’s Witnesses and their friends.–

Physical Tours: In total, we conduct 9 different tours at the British Museum (lasting about an hour each), a Bible tour at the Natural History Museum , London, as well as the Old Royal Observatory in Greenwich,  the British Library and now the Wiener Holocaust Library . We also conduct a tour in London from the group’s coach, and a walking tour at Westminster .

Virtual Tours: During the times of Covid restriction and lockdown, we created virtual versions of our tours, and were among the very first to offer virtual Bible tours to the worldwide brotherhood. These have proved to be very popular, and we now offer the nine different British Museum tours, two Natural History Museum Tours and the British Library tour on the Zoom platform. We will continue to provide virtual tours as well as the in person tours.

Our approach to all of our Tours is to develop scriptural themes  – which really is quite different. Our experienced guides are congregation elders and/or in full-time service and their expressions reflect a deep love for Jehovah.

Magnify Bible Tours’ aim is to build appreciation for Jehovah and his written word the Bible as well as to provide an environment in which to enjoy wholesome Christian association, ensuring that everyone who joins our tours finds the experience spiritually uplifting and refreshing. This requires that Tour operator, guide and visitor have the same objective – to give all credit to Jehovah and his organisation.  The tours are a great resource for family worship activities.

We would kindly request that you dress respectfully  (as you would for attending a meeting at the Kingdom Hall or engaging in field ministry if enjoying a physical tour). Jesus said his genuine followers would be in the world and yet no part of it. This is possible because they adhere to the high standards and principles set out in God’s Word. Jehovah’s Witnesses visiting the British Museum have gained an excellent reputation over the years for their orderly conduct and exemplary dress, giving a fine witness.

Our JW Israel tour is physically active. We believe the best way to get to the heart of a city is on foot, surrounded by the people and the culture. For this reason, we do walking tours through most of the cities we visit. It will be a vigorous pace with a great deal of walking on ancient pavements, up and down stairs, and hilly terrain. Expect to be on your feet, walking and standing, indoors and outdoors, and in all weather conditions. It is not recommended for physically challenged travelers who need assistance walking or those with limited stamina or mobility.

All itineraries are subject to adjustment as required. Confirmed, final, and detailed itineraries (and additional important travel details) are posted on your Personal BCT Travel Desktop, approximately one month from departure.

Day 1 – Tel Aviv Tel Aviv arrivals from all around the globe. Free time all day in Tel Aviv. Dinner at Tel Aviv hotel included.

Day 2 – Tel Aviv Breakfast in hotel. Tour Tel Aviv Bethel (If tours have resumed at Bethel). Tour Joppa; Visit Simon the Tanner’s “house” and walk down to Joppa’s ancient Port. Local cuisine for lunch, not included; after lunch visit the Valley of Elah (NEW) and then tour the Biblical Landscape Museum. Group dinner at Tel Aviv hotel included.

Day 3 – Tel Aviv/Tiberias Breakfast in hotel. Check out of Tel Aviv hotel. Visit beautiful Caesarea. Visit to Megiddo (lunch at Megiddo, not included). Guided tour of Nazareth Village – experience a memorable re-creation of Nazareth of 2000 years ago. Check into Tiberias hotel. Group dinner at Tiberias hotel included.

Day 4 – Tiberias/Jerusalem Breakfast in hotel, Tour the Sea of Galilee area: First a wonderful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes for a reading of the Sermon on the Mount. Visit Capernaum. Enjoy Galilee Fish lunch, not included. Visit ruins of the Synagogue of Magdala. Group dinner at Tiberias hotel included.

Day 5 – Tiberias/Jerusalem Breakfast in hotel. Check out of Tiberias hotel. Visit Jordan River site; Visit to Jericho. Lunch at Jericho site, not included. Take coach to Jerusalem to the Mt. of Olives, walk down to Garden of Gethsemane. Group dinner at Jerusalem hotel included.

Day 6 – Jerusalem Breakfast in hotel. Early morning visit to Temple Mount. Visit Pools of Bethesda. Tour the Western Wall Tunnel. Local cuisine Lunch not included. Guided Bible tour of Israel Museum (we have our own theocratic guide), Shrine of the Book and the huge outdoor model of ancient Jerusalem. Group dinner at Jerusalem hotel included.

Day 7 – Jerusalem Breakfast in hotel. Enjoy city walk, Visit Wohl Museum & Burnt House, continue to the City of David (enjoy excellent film of Jerusalem’s history). Visit to Gihon spring, Warren’s Shaft, Hezekiah’s Tunnel, Pool of Siloam. Guided tour of Garden Tomb site. Group dinner at Jerusalem hotel included.

Day 8 – Jerusalem Breakfast in hotel. Visit Masada, using the cable car. Enjoy floating in the Dead Sea. Conclude by visiting with old “Abraham” in his tent in the Judean Desert, including Camel ride and Biblical dinner.

Day 9 – Jerusalem Breakfast at Jerusalem Hotel. Transfers/Departures from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport.

Login (or create account) then fill your details here:  https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/bethel-tours . It will automatically pick the branch in your territory, but you can change to your desired branch office. Add dates, # of people, tour language, email, telephone no, etc. Submit, then you’ll then get an email with the reservation code informing you that your tour request is pending confirmation. They’ll confirm via email.

BETHEL VACATIONS

For the past 47 years we have arranged Bethel Tour Vacations to the World Headquarters for thousands of Jehovah’s Witnesses. All Tours include a visit to Warwick, the Educational Center at Patterson Bethel and the Printing Factory at Wallkill. Each Tour includes a sightseeing Tour of New York City plus the admission fee for the biblical Tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art given by Brothers from Oasis Tours.

ILLINOIS INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL  was established in 1967 as a full service travel agency providing travel for corporations and individual travelers. Since 1974 many of the Friends requested that we arrange a Tour to Bethel in New York and to other destinations around the world on our Memory Maker Vacations. It’s for this reason we began organizing Tours from any city in the US or Canada to visit Bethel. Since then, thousands of Friends have enjoyed our Group Tours so they do not have to worry where to stay or what to see. One of the highlights is that “wherever possible,” arrangements are made to meet with the local Brothers. These Tours are not sponsored by the Society, but are a private arrangement by Brothers and limited to Jehovah’s Witnesses and their relatives. In order to participate in one of our Tours, you must fill out the reservation form on our website and enclose a check or money order for a deposit of $250.00 per person. All reservations are accepted on a first-come basis. We apologize that we were unable to accommodate anyone on our Tour dates to Bethel in 2021 due to COVID 19. To avoid disappointment, we suggest making reservations NOW to avoid being placed on a waiting list. To make a reservation, fill out the reservation form, print one out completed, include a deposit of $250.00 per person and mail to our mailing address. Click Here For Form . Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation letter will be mailed to you informing you are either confirmed or on the waiting list, and when your balance is due along with more information on New York. After we receive your deposit, you may pay the balance by check or money order approximately 3 months prior to departure. Feel free to pass this information on to anyone else who may be interested in knowing about our Bethel Tour Vacations.

The Bus trips give us the opportunity to meet other brothers and sisters and enjoy upbuilding and spiritual association. Each day will start with a discussion of the scriptural text.  Bible trivia and other games will be played throughout the tours. A Watchtower discussion is always included.

Travel experiences.

I have been traveling with Sheridan and Iris along with my mom, M Scott before she fell asleep since I think 2012.

I love the fact they make the trip so much fun. We play games, good upbuilding faith strengthening association. They are so organized to the detail. Each hotel they book is always a surprise and they never disappoint. After being away from the brothers and sisters, I was thrilled that we were able to do our Cleveland bus tour in  April 2023.

I look forward each year to see where we will go next. Once you go with Sheridan and Iris, you become part of the family and want to go on each and every trip. The food physical and spiritual, the association and the total reliance on Jehovah makes the trip truly special. I am eager to travel each time!!! I look forward to going next year to Maryland.

All the trips were beautiful. Each trip was exciting. The last trip was Cleveland Ohio. We had a great time at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We enjoyed the Motown show, the museum, the garden like park, the restaurant, the marketplace, the ice cream and all the friends. Thanks to Sheridan and Iris through the years.

The trips are wonderful. Not only do we have a great time but it is always spiritually encouraging. 

Sheridan and Iris are a really nice couple. I love the trips they organize and they really look after the friends. I will never forget when I had a little problem and they made it their problem and looked after me. I will never forget that. They are so lovely and I love them.
