1966 Chrysler VC Valiant V8 Sedan
Olive green. the vc valiant was built in australia from march 1966-october 1967. chassis and engines were carried over, but the body was restyled with sharp, squared-off edges and corners, full-width grille and vertical taillights. with the safari wagons and wayfarer utilities, the rear panels and lights were carried over from the ap6. models available were; standard sedan or standard safari wagon. regal sedan or wagon; heater, carpet, central armrests, courtesy lights, better seat trim, two tone steering wheel, wheel trim rings. ‘v8 valiant’ got the 273 v8, all the regal features, plus bucket seats and console, vinyl roof on the sedans and chrome roof rack on the wagons. also available was the wayfarer utility engine; 145 hp 225 cu in slant 6 cyl or 180hp 273 cu in v8 valiants were assembled at todd motors in new zealand from 1963-79..

2 owners, 225 slant, column auto, 90% original paint, immaculate blue interior, low miles, no rust at all, drives perfect and will not find better.

The VC brought two new cars: the first long wheelbase option for the Valiant, and the Safari wagon. The Safari wagon boasted 105 inches of space from the tailgate to the back of the front seats (84 inches with the tailgate closed), with the same wheelbase and less than one inch of extra total length.
The VE range consisted of Valiant & Valiant Regal sedans, Valiant Safari & Valiant Regal Safari station wagons and Valiant, Valiant Wayfarer & Dodge utilities, the latter being a lower-priced version of the Valiant utility.

Very popular Safari Wagon. Make an excellent club car. Comes with books. To protect your investment vehicle bidders should consider at a minimum replacement of fuel, oil, fluids, filters and thorough brake inspection as vehicles may have been stationary for some time. Vehicles are sold as is off the floor – unregistered.

This very neat restored '66 VC Safari wagon has recently had a fantastic (and very expensive) paint job with all rust cut out. The colour is a stunning olive green, with a perfectly contrasting cream roof. The engine bay and the underside of the vehicle were completed too.
