È una possibilità che si sta rivelando particolarmente apprezzata da genitori e insegnanti, perché permette di far studiare e/o visitare virtualmente diversi musei e opere d’arte a tutti quei bambini che con la chiusura fisica delle scuole si trovano costretti a casa.

Google arts & culture.

Visitare virtualmente la Galleria degli Uffizi è possibile già da diverso tempo grazie al longevo progetto Google Arts & Culture .

Grazie a Google Arts & Culture è sia possibile visitare gli spazi del museo a 360° , in stile Street View, sia guardare i dipinti in alta definizione .

Per il tour in realtà virtuale degli Uffizi – come pure di tutti gli altri musei e gallerie aderenti al progetto – è disponibile anche un’apposita app per iOS  e Android .

Mostre virtuali

Oltre a questo progetto, sul sito ufficiale delle Gallerie degli Uffizi è disponibile da poco anche IperVisioni : una serie di mostre virtuali a tema, curate dallo staff del museo e molto ben fatte.

L’ultima inserita, in ordine di tempo, è la mostra “A riveder le stelle” – Dante illustrato: un omaggio per i 700 anni dalla morte del Sommo Poeta .

Nell’ambito dell’iniziativa #iorestoacasa le Gallerie degli Uffizi hanno infine creato un loro tour virtuale in 3D che porta alla scoperta della Sala delle Dinastie e di tutte le nuove sale degli Uffizi inaugurate nel 2019 e dedicate alla pittura veneziana del ‘500, vale a dire:

Palazzo Vecchio

Anche il Museo di Palazzo Vecchio è presente su Google Arts & Culture .

Per questo museo però non è abilitata la possibilità di percorrerne virtualmente gli spazi, ma solo quella di guardare le foto disponibili e di leggere le relative informazioni.

Cupola del Brunelleschi

Il sito del Grande Museo del Duomo, gestito dall’Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore, offre una suggestiva visita a 360° della cupola del Brunelleschi.

Si parte dall’interno della Cattedrale e si può salire fino in cima , da dove si può godere di un’incredibile vista sulla città!

Campanile di Giotto

Si può fare la stessa cosa anche con il Campanile di Giotto , tramite un widget di Google .

Il Museo Galileo di Firenze è da diverso tempo che propone online un suo museo virtuale estremamente ricco di foto, video e informazioni.

È possibile muoversi virtualmente all’interno dello stesso o consultare centinaia di foto riguardanti attori, scene degli spettacoli, locandine, ecc.

Tempo di giochi

Il Sitema Museale d’Ateneo ha lanciato da poco l’iniziativa “ Tempo di giochi ” con la quale vuole dare un suo piccolo contributo nell’affrontare questo difficile momento.

L’iniziativa prevede una serie di attività per i bambini dai 3 ai 10 anni e per le loro famiglie : ogni settimana pubblica giochi o altri tipi di attività, che si possono scaricare e stampare o fare online.

È anche un modo ovviamente per far scoprire, giocando, i musei dell’ateneo fiorentino e sperare che questi vengano poi visitati una volta riaperti.

Uffizi Gallery Firenze, Italy

The Uffizi was designed by Giorgio Vasari in 1560 for Cosimo I de'Medici to house the Granducal Magistratures of Tuscany. Over time, the top floor loggia became an exhibition of the dynastic collection of ancient sculpture, artwork and artifacts.

The eastern wing of the building incorporated the ancient Florentine church of San Pier Scheraggio and the wing to the west connected with two existing buildings, the Mint and the Loggia dei Lanzi. Vasari conceived an architectural module to be repeated all along the building: a portico flanked by two pillars, with niches on the ground floor and three windows on the upper story.

In 1565, on the occasion of the marriage of his son Francesco to Giovanna d'Austria, Cosimo I asked Vasari to design a raised passageway connecting Palazzo Vecchio with Palazzo Pitti, the new residence of the family. The passage starts from the government palace, Palazzo Vecchio, goes through the Uffizi, then runs parallel to the river above a portico and crosses over the Ponte Vecchio. The Corridor continues through the facade of the church of Santa Felicita to reach the Boboli Gardens.

The building, which houses one of the most famous museums in the world for its extraordinary collection of paintings and antique statues, is also a work of art to admire.

The Gallery, located on the top floor, was built on a design by  Giorgio Vasari  between 1560 and 1580. With the guided tour you will have the opportunity to visit the  Vasari Corridor  too, a suspended corridor built by Vasari to connect the building with  Palazzo Vecchio and Pitti Palace , which housts other important collections such as paintings of the seventeenth century and the collection of self-portraits.
