About status quo.
Status Quo are an English rock band who play a brand of boogie rock. The group originated in The Spectres, founded by schoolboys Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster in 1962. After a number of lineup changes, which included the introduction of Rick Parfitt in 1967, the band became The Status Quo in 1967 and Status Quo in 1969. They have had over 60 chart hits in the UK, more than any other rock band, including "Pictures of Matchstick Men" in 1968, "Whatever You Want" in 1979 and "In the Army Now" in 1986 and 2010. Twenty-two of these reached the Top 10 in the UK Singles Chart. In July 1985 the band opened Live Aid at Wembley Stadium with "Rockin' All Over the World". In 1991, Status Quo received a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. Status Quo starred in their first feature film, Bula Quo!, which was released to cinemas in July 2013. The film coincided with the release of the soundtrack album Bula Quo!, which peaked at number 10 in the UK Albums Chart. The first single from the album, "Bula Bula Quo" was released in June 2013, and is Status Quo's one hundredth single release.

Chase & Status announce 2025 UK arena tour
The duo enlisted Jason Statham to share the news of the upcoming shows
Chase & Status have announced a UK arena tour for 2025 – you can find all the details below.
The London electronic duo – comprising Saul Milton and Will Kennard – are due to hit the road in the spring for a run of live dates across eight cities.
They’ll take to the stage at arenas in Glasgow (April 29), Manchester (May 1), Birmingham (2), London (3), Nottingham (5), Cardiff (6), Plymouth (7) and Bournemouth (8).
Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST next Thursday (September 26) – you’ll be able to buy yours here . Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Tuesday (24) – find details on Ticketmaster .
Chase & Status enlisted actor Jason Statham to announce the tour – a playful nod to their similar-sounding names. “The music insists, this ain’t guesswork,” said the action-thriller star in the video.

“You don’t know us – you feel us. Don’t be thinking this is logical – don’t be thinking at all. Between your heartbeat and the drumbeat, purpose lies. Where you lose yourself is where you find us.”
Recommended
Statham concluded: “This is Chase & Status live. Oh, I’m sorry. Did you have other plans?” See the post above, and check out the full itinerary below.
Chase & Status’ 2025 UK tour dates are:
APRIL 29 – OVO Hydro, Glasgow
MAY 01 – Co-op Live, Manchester 02 – Utilita Arena, Birmingham 03 – The O2, London 05 – Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham 06 – Utilita Arena, Cardiff 07 – Plymouth Pavilions, Plymouth 08 – Bournemouth International Centre, Bournemouth
Chase & Status headlined Boardmasters 2024 in Newquay, Cornwall last month alongside Sam Fender and Stormzy . The duo recently released a collaborative single with the latter artist, ‘Backbone’ .
Last year, they teamed up with Becky Hill on ‘Disconnect’ and performed the track with the singer at this year’s BRIT Awards .
Chase & Status also took home the Producer Of The Year statue at the BRITs 2024.
“We couldn’t be more proud – we’ve been flying the flag for British music now for a long time, we’re super proud of all the music that has come out of the UK,” the group said in a statement.
“As producers, and as a creative duo, I think we are probably in one of the best places we’ve been.”

Chase and Status are coming to Co-op Live on their massive UK arena tour
Big artist, huge venue, MASSIVE gig. (this article contains affiliate links)
Drum and bass giants Chase and Status are officially coming back to Manchester, announcing a massive gig at Co-op Live as part of their huge new tour.
Set to play a series of massive arena dates all over the UK, the kings of all things dance and electronic were only in Manchester this past March for a sell-out show at O2 Victoria Warehouse but they’re already confirmed they’ll be coming back next spring for more.
Not only will this be Chase and Status’ Co-op Live debut but they’ll be the first big act from within the EDM space to play the state-of-the-art arena which has already crossed some frankly gigantic names.
With recent releases like ‘Badadan’, the ‘Gunfinger (Salute)’ collab with IRAH and the latest single with Stormzy ‘BACKBONE’ – an unreal banger and return to their D’n’B roots – we’re more excited than ever to get our raving shoes on.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Chase & Status (@chaseandstatus)
The London-born and bred duo, real names Saul Milton and Will Kennard, are arguably one of the most influential electronic artists to come out of the UK in the past two decades.
Even in speaking with fellow industry veterans like DJ Fabio, he described them as a “staple” of the scene who have helped bring electronic dance music back to the forefront and get “drum and bass tracks back in the top 40.”
With that in mind, the UK’s largest music-first indoor entertainment arena frankly just isn’t ready for the calibre of live performance these lot are about to drop but we have pure blind faith that it’ll be one of the gigs of the entire year.
Kicking off the huge 2025 tour in Glasgow before coming to Co-op Live on 1 May, with other noteworthy shows including the O2 in London, as well as Birmingham and Cardiff’s Utilita Arenas, these tickets are going to absolutely fly.

London trio FLO are visiting some of the UK’s most intimate live music spots on their next tour – including a night here in Manchester.
The Brit Award winners have announced their record store tour, which coincides with their debut album release.
Jorja, Stella and Renée, better known as Brit girl group FLO, are checking out what Manchester has to offer as they visit our lovely city for the third time in their musical career.
The girls’ music typically sits in the R&B genre and they’re known for their insane runs and intricate harmonies. This more private tour offers fans a chance to appreciate this, up close and personal.
The band are heading out on their ‘AAA: Intimate Acoustic Shows’ ahead of their debut studio album ‘Access All Areas’ out on 15 November.
The girls are visiting Gorilla Manchester on 21 November to perform singles and tracks from their debut album and if they’re lucky enough, crowds might even hear some older songs intertwined throughout the gig.
AAA live acoustic! can’t wait to see u there, tickets go live tomorrow at 11am bst 🎹💕 pic.twitter.com/aGDQYalVyP — FLO (@flolikethis) September 17, 2024
FLO have seen much appraisal over the years with two MTV VMA nominations and even managed to scoop a BRIT award for ‘Rising Star’ in 2023.
Fans have already had a taste of the upcoming album with four songs steadily releasing since March this year starting with, ‘Walk Like This’, ‘Caught Up’, ‘Check’ and the soulful ‘Bending My Rules’ being the most recent release in August.
Gorilla is the ideal setting for this series of gigs with a small but mighty capacity of around 600, the Manchester crowd will still be louder than ever.
Tickets to the gig also include a Q&A with all three vocalists where you can ‘Access All Areas’ of FLO, like their album title states.
Their first single ‘Cardboard Box’ started their musical journey in 2022 and in July of this year, the track is now BRIT-certified silver for amassing over 200,000 units.
The UK trio are currently touring North America with fellow R&B artist Kehlani on her ‘CRASH Tour’ which kicked off at the start of September and finishes at the top of November, two weeks before their album drops.
Kehlani has collaborated with the superstar trio on her latest mixtape ‘While We Wait 2’, where the girls feature on a remix of the track ‘8’ which dropped not too long ago in late August.
Girl Group FLO are no stranger to the Manchester music scene , performing at Parklife and New Century Hall in 2023, they really do spoil us!
Tickets for the series of intimate shows across the UK go live on 18 September at 11am here.
