Accessing the Dilitihum Exchange [ | ]

Accessing the Dilithium Exchange is accomplished by opening your Inventory , switching to the Assets tab, scrolling down to the Dilitihum section and pressing the Dilithium Exchange button.

Limitations [ | ]

• An account may have no more than 5 outstanding (unfilled) orders at any given time.

Dilithium Exchange can be used to buy Zen from or sell Zen to other players. It can also be used (with some risk) to transfer Refined Dilithium between characters on the same player account.

Buying ZEN [ | ]

A: This is the “Buy ZEN” tab. B: This section displays the top offers to sell ZEN.

C: This section displays any outstanding offers you have on the exchange. If you wish to cancel an offer, click on the offer to highlight it and then click the “Cancel Offer” button. Canceling an offer will put the Refined Dilithium you put onto the exchange into your “Exchange Balance” ( F ). D: This section is where you can decide how much Refined Dilithium you would like to offer to buy ZEN. All 3 fields may have values entered in them, and the “Total Dilithium to sell” field is automatically updated as you adjust the values above it * .

E: Once you have entered the information in the fields above ( D ), click the “Submit Offer To Buy” button to confirm and submit your offer to buy ZEN. When you enter a buy ZEN offer, all the dilithium for it is taken from you immediately. If you get the ZEN for a cheaper price, or you withdraw your offer before it is completely fulfilled, you get that dilithium back. NOTE: ZEN purchased via the Exchange are bound to Star Trek Online. If there are not existing sell offers that match your quantity and price, you might get part or none of your order, and it will be fulfilled later when there is a matching sell order. F: This section shows your current Exchange Balance. Canceling an offer will put the Refined Dilithium you put onto the exchange into this balance. Future offers will first pull from these balances and you can withdraw available Refined Dilithium or ZEN from your Exchange Balance at any time. G: This section shows your current character’s Refined Dilithium balance, and your account’s ZEN balance.

* If buying ZEN, the Refined Dilithium price must be set between 25 and 500 Refined Dilithium and offers must be set to at least 1 ZEN and no more than 5,000 ZEN.

Selling ZEN [ | ]

A: This is the “Sell ZEN” tab. B: This section displays the top offers to buy ZEN.

Canceling an offer will put the ZEN you put onto the exchange into this balance. You can withdraw available Refined Dilithium or ZEN from your Exchange Balance at any time, but you need to manually withdraw the ZEN in order to use it in a new sell offer. G: This section shows your current character’s Refined Dilithium balance, and your account’s ZEN balance.

* If selling ZEN, offers must be set to at least 1 ZEN and no more than 5,000 ZEN and the Refined Dilithium price must be set between 25 and 500 Refined Dilithium.

Transferring Refined Dilithium [ | ]

• If the market did move against you - you will find that the buy order has disappeared and the account Zen balance in the Dilithium Exchange has increased by the amount of Zen bought with the order. In this case the receiving character could simply immediately create a Sell ZEN order, however this character would receive less Refined Dilithium than what was used to create the original buy order.

In Star Trek Online: Unparalleled, the Borg threat to the multiverse continues as the player’s Captain discovers a last stand between a new, peaceful alternate universe Iconians and a new type of Borg, infused with a mysterious nanite technology. The player’s Captain must work with allies across the universe including Enterprise Captain Sela from this new parallel universe and Aetherian ally Captain Grendat-Bex to defend the Iconians against this new Borg threat and their queen.

This new adventure features a notable Star Trek franchise star, Denise Crosby, playing Captain Sela, Captain of the Enterprise from a parallel universe. Denise Crosby is known for playing Tasha Yar in the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation and she later returned to the Star Trek universe to play Captain Sela. Star Trek Online: Unparalleled will also introduce plenty of new content for players to discover.

Denise Crosby Returns As Captain Sela From Another Universe For ‘Star Trek Online: Unparalleled’

Star Trek Online is getting ready to launch a brand new season which will see the return of one of the stars of Star Trek: The Next Generation .

Unparalleled arrives in 2 weeks

Today Arc Games and Cryptic Studios announced Trek Online: Unparalleled , the 32nd season of their long-running free-to-play Star Trek MMORPG. This new adventure features Star Trek: The Next Generation star Denise Crosby, playing Captain Sela, Captain of the Enterprise from a parallel universe. This is a return to Star Trek: Online for Crosby who voiced her TNG characters Tasha Yar and Sela for the game back in 2013.

Star Trek Online: Unparalleled also includes a new event, a gender/race change feature, along with updates to the Infinity Lockbox. Unparalleled will launch on May 28, 2024 for PC and will launch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on June 19, 2024.

Defend the Iconians against a new Borg threat

Season 32 continues Aetherian and Mirror Borg story content. Here is the official synopsis for the story:

In Star Trek Online: Unparalleled, the Borg threat to the multiverse continues as the player’s Captain discovers a last stand between a new, peaceful alternate universe Iconians and a new type of Borg, infused with a mysterious nanite technology. Key art is incorrect. Phaser would not fire from the area illustrated. When the top lens is exposed the phaser is in “kill” mode and would fire from there. Only when lens in down does it fire from the area shown.

I’m not sure what’s worse, that you took the time to muse about a pointless alternate universe phaser, or that I’m banging out this rather pointless reply.

Everything about this screams badly written fan fiction.

it’s an MMORPG – that’s pretty much a sub-category of badly written fan fiction

the guys on Mission Log used to say “when Star Trek is out of ideas they turn to Shakespeare” – nowadays it’s the multiverse

Everything even remotely resembling science fiction and fantasy these days is the multiverse. It’s Shatners last chance to put on the gold tunic and be an action hero one last time, so there’s that…..

I may be only one who thought Sela was a terrible character, created just to appease an actress who unwisely decided to leave the show early and decided to come back when the show became successful. There was more potential with that character but we didn’t see enough of the character to fully realize her full motives or character traits.

TNG was always successful, though. It was not like Denise Crosby left because the show had bombed. She left because she was unhappy with the fact that they did not give her character anything to do. The writers of Season 3 brought Tasha back for Yesterday’s Enterprise to give her the heroic send off she was denied in Season 1- and from there she and the producers came up with Sela.

Yes and it’s unfortunate the producers were not wise enough to see the potential in her character. She was a little over the top sometimes but that’s the writing and all the characters were still being defined in season 1. She remains one of my favourite characters in all her incarnations and would have been even more so had she stayed in the show.

In the first couple of seasons, everyone was over the top…..

Star Trek Online Unparalleled update launches May 28 on PC and June on console

Developer Cryptic Studios announced the release date for "Unparalleled," the latest update for its ongoing free-to-play MMORPG, Star Trek: Online . The Unparalleled update, also known as "Season 32," will further expand the game's story campaign, which has continued since the game's original launch in 2010. Cryptic commemorated Star Trek Online 's 14th anniversary in January 2024.

Unparalleled will continue the current story arc of Star Trek Online , which involves the Federation and its allies fighting back against a series of multiversal incursions. Factions from alternative universes are crossing into the "prime" Star Trek timeline, particularly a new "Borg Kingdom." The Unparalleled update will feature Star Trek alumnus Denise Crosby, who played the characters Tasha Yar and Sela in the Star Trek: The Next Generation TV series. Crosby has appeared in Star Trek Online before, first reprising her role as Tasha Yar for a mission based on the Next Generation episode "Yesterday's Enterprise," and then as Empress Sela of the Romulan Star Empire, playing a major role in the game's storyline.

This time Crosby returns as Sela, but from a parallel universe where she became a 25th-century Starfleet officer. Players will join Sela and visit her universe to intervene in a conflict between the Borg and a peaceful version of the Iconians, who served as primary antagonists for much of Star Trek Online 's main story arc.

Besides the story expansion, Star Trek Online: Unparalleled will also see the addition of a new team-based Task Force Operation activity called "Borg Battle Royale." The Borg Battle Royale is a wave-based survival activity where teams of players will fight hordes of Borg foes in waves of escalating difficulty.

The debut of Season 32 will be accompanied by a limited-time event that will reward players for regularly participating in activities for the duration. During the event, they'll be able to earn unique prizes, like a Dimensional Hypermass Torpedo Launcher weapon, a Type 14 Shuttle Support Squadron gear piece, and two particularly valuable prizes: 500 Lobi Crystals, and an Epic-grade Phoenix Prize token.

Lobi Crystals are a form of currency that typically is only rewarded when players open one of Star Trek Online 's microtransaction-based lock box reward packs. The crystals can be collected and exchanged for uniquely powerful gear pieces in an in-game store. Meanwhile, Phoenix Prize tokens are extremely rare drops from the Phoenix Prize Pack, a type of lock box that can be opened in exchange for the free Dilithium currency instead of a microtransaction. Epic-grade Phoenix Prize tokens can be redeemed for playable starships, as well.

Star Trek Online: Unparalleled launches on May 28, 2024 on PC, and in June 2024 on PS4 and Xbox One.
