Day 1 - London - Edinburgh - Edinburgh Sightseeing

All aboard! Join your comfortable  express train  for the speedy journey to Scotland.

Along the way, the train will travel through the historic communities of York,  Durham  and Newcastle, which sits on the famous River Tyne.

After Berwick-upon-Tweed, we cross the border and enter Scotland. Experience stunning sea views as we make our way along the cliff tops towards Scotland’s Capital City.

On arrival in Edinburgh, it is a short walk to your hotel for tonight.

After you’ve checked in, it’s time to explore Edinburgh by open-top bus. This absorbing tour will first take you into the Georgian splendour of the New Town with its wide streets and grand squares.  Listen to stories of mystery and murder as you travel through the  Grassmarket , then visit majestic  Edinburgh Castle , which stands guard over the city and has done since the earliest of times. During your visit, see the Scottish Crown Jewels and admire the stunning views over the city from the battlements.

Next, you’ll discover the hidden secrets of the medieval Old Town, where many important events took place in the city’s history.

Get grandstand views of the modern  Scottish Parliament  building and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, HM The King’s official residence in Scotland.

The remainder of today is free for independent sightseeing.

Overnight: Leonardo Royal Hotel, Edinburgh (or similar)

Day 2 - Edinburgh - The Highland Line - Inverness

After breakfast, head out to discover more of Edinburgh. Why not stroll along the Royal Mile with its narrow medieval houses and many historical attractions?

At Gladstone’s Land, you can discover what life was like in a 17th Century tenement house or head underground to explore 400 years of hidden history at spooky Mary King’s Close .

Later we head into the Highlands on a spectacular rail journey as we make our way from Edinburgh to Inverness by train.

The “iron road” will take us to historic Stirling, where its ancient castle sits atop a volcanic core. Later travel across Strathallan and through the attractive station that serves the famous Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Courses.

Admire the picturesque views as the train heads for the attractive Victorian resort of Pitlochry then, after passing through the Pass of Killiecrankie, see white-washed  Blair Castle , the home of the Duke of Atholl.

Our train starts the climb through the Grampian Mountains to reach the Druimuachdar Pass, the highest summit in the British rail network.

As we travel through the attractive Spey Valley, look out for the high peaks of the Cairngorm Mountains on the approach to Aviemore, one of Scotland’s premier outdoor sports venues.

On arrival in Inverness , make your way to your city centre hotel, where the rest of the day is free to enjoy the many attractions of the “Highland Capital”.

Overnight: PentaHotel, Inverness (or similar) (3 nights)

Day 3 - Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle Excursion

There is an exciting day in prospect as we head for the lovely Island of Skye.

Our first stop is in the tiny village of Achnasheen, which is surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Next, there is a scenic drive through Glen Carron, stopping along the way to admire the panoramic views over Loch Carron.

Soon we are crossing “over the sea to Skye”.

The magical Isle of Skye is known for its wild and beautiful landscapes of deep lochs and jagged mountains. This land has had a harsh history of Norse invasions, fierce clan battles and the tragic Highland Clearances of the 19th Century.

The stories that you will hear will be even more stirring as you drive through this dramatic scenery!

The main stop of the day will be in the colourful fishing port of Portree , which sits around a pretty harbour.

This afternoon we head to the north of the island to explore the dramatic landscapes of the Trotternish Peninsula. We’ll see the impressive obelisk known as the Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock, which is said to resemble a pleated kilt.

The scenic tour continues with magnificent views of the Cuillin Mountains, considered by many to be the finest in Britain!

We return to the mainland and stop at Eilean Donan Castle . This picturesque castle stands on a tiny island at the confluence of Lochs Duich and Alsh. The view of this iconic castle is just perfect for your next social media post.

Soon we are heading through Glen Shiel, a spectacular valley where the “ Five Sisters of Kintail ” mountain range soar skywards.

The final part of our journey takes us along the banks of Loch Ness and back to Inverness.

Day 4 - John O’Groats and the Far North Excursion

Today we join a new group and driver/guide for a day of nature, history and scenic beauty as we travel to John O’Groats and the Far North.

From Inverness, we head northwards across the Black Isle to the Cromarty Firth, where, hopefully, we will catch sight of members of the local seal population.

The attractive village of Golspie is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches. Nearby is fairytale Dunrobin Castle , the ancestral seat of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland. It resembles a French chateau and overlooks beautiful formal gardens modelled on those at the Palace of Versailles .

During the stop, there is a chance to visit this impressive castle and tour the grounds.

Enjoy incredible sea views as we travel northwards along the famed North Coast 500 route.

We will take a break for lunch in Wick. This former Viking settlement became a prosperous fishing town during the herring boom of the 19 th Century. The legacy of the “silver darlings” is an impressive harbour that is still in use today.

Later, we head to John O’Groats ; the most northerly village in the British mainland. After the obligatory “I was there” photograph at the signpost, you can take a cliff-top stroll to enjoy the views and, maybe, spot some wildlife.

On our return journey to Inverness, there will be a stop in Dunbeath, where we can take a stroll around its attractive harbour.

Day 5 - Inverness - Edinburgh - London

After an early rise, head to Inverness Railway Station to catch the "Highland Chieftain" train bound for London. As well as comfortable seating, air-conditioning and panoramic windows, the Azuma train also features free wifi.

There is an onboard café serving drinks and locally sourced food throughout the journey.

The train will follow the same route as our northbound journey, including the scenic Cairngorms National Park and Highland Perthshire.

After a brief pause in Edinburgh, the journey southwards takes in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and York .

Your tour will terminate at London (Kings Cross) Station around 15:50 hrs (17:55 hrs on Sundays).

Customer reviews overall rating:.

All the arrangements were top notch. Hotels good, scenery amazing and the drivers really friendly. I would totally recommend this tour.

I booked my first ever trip to Scotland with Scottish Tours. I was a bit worried as the tour was described as semi-independent, but everything ran like clockwork. I got my train tickets and vouchers about a week before I was due to leave. The hotels in Edinburgh and Inverness were in great locations and the train journey in both directions was a breeze. Andy, the driver/guide for the first two days of the tour was great. He had a great sense of humour and was very patient with his 10 passengers. He was so knowledge of history and facts was awesome! I hadn’t realised Scotland could be so beautiful and Sky was just amazing. I loved Eilean Donan Castle.I joined another group for my tour to John O’Groats. It was a long day, but the scenery was stunning. Best of all I had couple, Sinclair and Kathleen as the driver and guide. They were lovely and gave lots of information.I would recommend this tour if you want to get a taste of Scotland in a short space of time. Thank you Andy, Sinclair and Kathleen for an amazing trip. And Scottish Tours for arranging it so well.

I wanted to visit Scotland on vacation and was looking for 5 days tour from London. I came to know about scottishtours through my search and loved the itinerary of their 5 days tour. It covered most of the places which I wanted to visit and also included return train tickets of London and Scotland. My only concern was there were very few reviews regarding scottishtours even when it said it is member of ABTA. As their tours were offering most of my travel requirements I went ahead and booked the tour and Im so glad I did!!! The tour experience was fantastic. From the start to end there has been no complains. The tour included accommodation and the accommodation that was provided to us was amazing. All located in the center of the city and very close to the coach station was we did not have to hurry in the morning to catch the tour coach. The tour coordinator(Euan) has been very helpful and informative, he made sure everything was arranged perfectly. He also provided us upgrade to our day tour to Skye with the new tour including few more places to visit and we were not disappointed at all. We were arranged tour coaches of Timberbush and Highland experiences and both the tours had excellent guides who told us the stories of the places we were visiting. We missed our coach to inverness(which included Lochness experience) from Edinburgh on the second day of our tour, but the tour was kind enough to arrange an alternative tour(with similar itinerary) which left in an hour and it was awesome. I would definitely recommend Scottishtours for best experience of Scotland.

First time traveling through the tour…

First time traveling through the tour company. It was a wonderful experience with Star Tour. Well well-organized tour. Clean and fresh coach. Food and break times are well planned. Rishi is a star of the tour. Provided information about attractions. His planning and pleasant interactions with everyone gave us a homely feeling. Thanks to Captain Paul for the safe driving and for helping us to load and unload our luggage. Just a suggestion… As sometimes during long hours of journey kids get restless. Can you provide games or entertainment systems for them ( also with time limits😜) or wifi on board 😅

Scotland tour worst experience

We recently went on a tour of Scotland, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The hotel room was very average, and the breakfast offered the same limited options for all three days. The coach did not have good air conditioning, and it was very suffocating inside. The tour planning had a very limited focus on historical and natural spots, with limited time given to places with better views. Most of the time was spent in the coach and it was very tiring. The restaurant Firangi had the worst service. They gave the tour people a separate seating area with no cutlery, no tablecloth, dirty tables, low-quality dishes, and very low-quality food. We would never recommend Start Tours to anyone. It was not worth the money spent.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent tour of Scotland with us. We deeply regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We do mention all ur breakfasts are continental and you were provided with this. Your feedback will be shared with our hotel partners to ensure improvements are made. I have reviewed your coach allocated and can confirm the AC was working and kept at 22 degrees throughout your journey. Regarding the tour itinerary, we aim to balance historical and natural sites while allowing ample time for exploration. We regret that this was not your experience. We will address these concerns with the restaurant management to ensure that all our guests receive the high-quality dining experience they deserve. We value your feedback as it helps us improve our services. Thank you again for your review.

We have been to Scotland with the Tour…

Our tour guide, Tony Walker, was excellent. Since this was a first for this itinerary, there were a lot of travel issues and Tony was great at solving them. Culture Tours need to acknowledge how good a tour guide and leader he was for them. Here are my comments, in no special order. - More trip details as very vague in the itinerary, i.e. daily timetables for stops - Timely receipt of changes to original schedule of events - Notification of roommate and contact info when sharing room (prior to trip start) - Daily events need to be better scheduled. Too many crammed into some days causing early starts and late day endings. - Long distances to each night's stop causing long days on coach and trains - More centrally located hotels with dining options nearby. - Disliked hotel in Inverness. Staff almost rude and not helpful when we wanted a cab. Way too far from the city center. No amenities in the room - i.e. soap, shampoo, lotions, etc. - Name tags for tour members

We were on the Portugal and Spain tour with Kassie Jones as our tour director. We found her to be efficient, friendly and accommodating. Kassie always made sure we saw the best of everything and also through in some surprise extras. If you ever have a chance to take a tour with Kassie, go for it you won't be disappointed! Highland and Skye 7 day Tour 2024

7 days/6 nights Travel Itinerary

DAY 1: DOUNE CASTLE, BLAIR ATHOL DISTILLERY & PITLOCHRY

Your adventure begins with a tour of Doune Castle. Few castles can boast thecelebrity status of Doune, near Stirling - built in the late 14th century, it achievedfame having been featured in the famous Monty Python film, ‘The Holy Grail’. Morerecently, it has also featured in T.V.s ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Outlander’. We thentravel to the quaint Victorian village of Pitlochry in ancient Perthshire for your first Malt Whisky experience as you enjoy a tour and tasting session at the famous Blair Athol Distillery. Finally, enjoy a stroll around Pitlochry’s traditional shops and craft stores before arriving at your hotel.

DAY 2: CAIRNGORM NATIONAL PARKS & CULLODEN

Enjoy the scenic journey through Cairngorms National Park, with its stunning mountains and ancient Caledonian Pine Forests. You’ll visit Culloden Battlefield & visitor centre and learn about Bonnie PrinceCharlie who, with his Jacobite Army, fought the last civil war on British soil in 1746. Culloden is also now another “Outlander” location with scenes being filmed at the real battlefield. Our next stop, Clava Cairns and Standing Stones, is a well-preserved Bronze-Age cairn and an incredible example of the historic architecture of the Highlands, dating back about 4,000 years. There will be free time to explore Inverness before heading to your hotel

DAY 3: EILEAN DONAN & LOCH NESS

Today we head for Skye - “The Misty Isle”, travelling through the village of Fort Augustus on the shores of Loch Ness then beautiful Glenshiel . We’ll visit one of Scotland’s most picturesque castles, Eilean Donan, which sits on its own small island at the head of Loch Duich. With a fascinating history, from raids and sieges to its destruction during the Jacobite rising in 1719, there will be plenty of opportunity for photographs of this breathtaking castle. After lunch, we go over the bridge to Skye and head straight for the Talisker Distillery where you’ll learn how this world class Malt is created and enjoy a dram or two before checking in to your hotel.

DAY 4: ISLE OF SKYE

Wake to the excitement of a day exploring the splendid scenery of the Isle of Skye. Touring the island, we pass through Broadford and the Cuillin Mountains to explore the capital of Portree which has an old-fashioned appeal with colourful houses and a traditional harbour. We’ll then explore the north of the island and the Trotternish Peninsula with it’s fabulous scenery and seascapes including The Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock Falls and the spectacularly bizarre scenery of the Quiraing. We’ll finish a memorable day at the famous Fairy Pools (weather permitting).

DAY 5: Skye Ferry, Glenfinnan Viaduct and Monument, Fort William

We’ll take the famous Skye boat to the harbour town of Mallaig then head along side Loch Morar, with wonderful views across the Sound of Arisaig to the Small Isles. After lunch, we reach the Glenfinnan monument on the shores of Loch Shiel which marks the spot where the 1745 Jacobite Rising began. This is also a great viewpoint for the Glenfinnan Viaduct, a renowned feat of Victorian engineering and known more recently for being featured as the famous bridge crossed by the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter films. The day ends with a visit to Ben Nevis Distillery, situated at the foot of the largest mountain in Scotland

DAY 6: Fort William, Loch Linnhe & Glencoe

Experience the Glencoe Mountain Range - we’ll stop for pictures of the famous ‘Three Sisters’ and hear stories of the historical significance and violent past of this famous Glen culminating in the massacre of Glencoe in 1692. Returning to Fort William, you’ll enjoy lunch and then visit the local museum with its fascinating artefacts. In the afternoon, get close to Lochaber’s wild heart on an enthralling boat tour. You’ll cruise down Loch Linnhe to see the local seal colony and take in the magnificent views on every side. Heading back, you’ll hopefully catch sight of the local dolphin pod. Look out for eagles as we head to the narrows of Loch Eil, and then on to the mouth of the world famous Caledonian Canal

DAY 7: Inverary Castle and Loch Lomond

This morning we make for Clan Campbell country to visit one of Scotland’s finest stately homes,Inveraray Castle & Gardens, a stunning building still owned by the Duke of Argyll and in recent times featured in the TV series Downton Abbey. We then head over the ‘Rest and Be Thankful’ mountain pass stopping for some photographs at this beautiful and atmospheric landmark before continuing into Scotland’s first National Park. We’ll stop on the ‘bonnie banks’ of Loch Lomond and walk the shores at the conservation village of Luss., We may even spot the odd Highland Cow !! It’s then time to head to your Glasgow or Edinburgh City Centre hotel, and the conclusion of your Top Scottish Tour.

This classic 5-day tour showcases the best of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. From dazzling white beaches to the dramatic mountain landscapes of Skye and Assynt, our Grand Tour will live with you forever. As part of a small tour group in the Wee Red Bus you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy world-famous sights like Loch Ness and Eilean Donan Castle as well as some hidden gems that many tourists never see.

Our 5 day adventure begins by crossing the famous Forth Bridge, travelling past the Fair City of Perth before our first stop at the picturesque Victorian Highland village of Pitlochry.

Hosb001 Scaled Aspect Ratio 444x310

Surrounded by a stunning Perthshire landscape of mountains, woodland and water there is an optional visit to the Blair Athol distillery for a tour and tasting – a must for all Scotch lovers!  Non whisky drinkers can enjoy the bustling High St or stretch their legs beside the River Tummel.

We continue north through the Cairngorms National Park with sweeping views across the Spey Valley and the Central Highlands.

By mid afternoon we arrive at one of Scotland’s most evocative and scared prehistoric sites, the 4000 year old stone circles and burial cairns at Clava Cairns.

Tour1 056 Scaled Aspect Ratio 444 310

Our final stop is Culloden Moor where the Jacobites were finally defeated by government soldiers in 1746, the last battle to be fought on British soil.

You will have time to walk on the battlefield and learn more about this tragic event that killed 700 Highland clansmen in three minutes. Our base for two nights is the Highland capital, Inverness.

Inverness Istock Scaled Aspect Ratio X

A trip to Assynt and the Coigach peninsula will live with you forever as an area of outstanding natural beauty encompassing hundreds of lochs, beautiful coastline, and native woodlands all set against the stunning backdrop of some remarkable mountains.

'Our trip to stunning Assynt will live with you forever'

This dramatic Highland landscape has inspired many from all over the world. We stop at the pretty fishing village of Ullapool for coffee, before continuing north-west to the unique landscape of Assynt and the Inverpolly Nature Reserve.

Ullapool 2 Scaled Aspect Ratio 444x310

Famous mountains such as Suilven and Stac Pollaidh are never far from view. There can be few more scenic roads in the country than that from Badnagyle to Lochinver, where we pause for lunch. It’s then onto stunning Achmelvich beach to enjoy the wild coastline and beautiful sands.

Achmelvich Istock 2

Our drive continues to the ruins of 15th century Ardvreck Castle on the shores of Loch Assynt before we finish this fabulous day at the dramatic Corrieshalloch Gorge.

We say goodbye to Inverness and head to the Isle of Skye via the magic of Loch Ness and the rugged splendour of the Western Highlands.

Urquhart Castle Scaled Aspect Ratio 444x310

First stop is the world’s most famous lake, best known for sightings of Nessie, the legendary Loch Ness monster!

There’s an option to take a 1 hour boat trip with views of Urquhart Castle or alternatively spend time at the loch-side village of Drumnadrochit for souvenir shopping and/or a visit to the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition.

We continue to the southern end of the loch for lunch in the picturesque village of Fort Augustus.

20150813 151406 1 Scaled Aspect Ratio 444x310

Dramatic scenery unfolds as we drive west, stopping for photos at the famous viewpoint over Loch Garry and the wilderness of Knoydart beyond. We continue past the Five Sisters of Kintail – a high mountain ridge rising steeply from Glen Shiel – towards world-famous Eilean Donan Castle.

Perhaps the most iconic image of Highland Scotland the castle has been used as the backdrop for countless well-known movies. It is perfectly situated on a small island, surrounded by water and fabulous scenery – a ‘must-see’ Scottish landmark.

From here it’s only a short drive to the Skye Bridge and onwards to Sligachan for a stunning view of the Cuillin Mountains. Our final stop of the day is the island capital of Portree where we will stay for two nights.

Portree From Istock 1 Scaled Aspect Ratio X

Today is spent touring the Isle of Skye, a flexible itinerary at the discretion of your driver / guide * (see below).

We enjoy a half-day scenic drive along the dramatic Trotternish Ridge with its spectacular cliffs and rock formations. Stops can include Lealt Waterfall, Kilt Rock sea cliffs, the Old Man of Storr rock pinnacle and a walk at the Quiraing mountain pass. Another popular stop is the Fairy Glen, a delightful miniature Highland landscape and legendary home of the ‘wee people’!

Tour2 083 Scaled Aspect Ratio 444x310

'We spend a full day exploring the spectacular and dramatic Isle of Skye in the Wee Red Bus'

The second half of the day explores the stunning southern part of the island which includes well-known sights and some hidden gems we’ve discovered over the years.

Nestled under the Cuillin mountains is beautiful Glen Brittle. Rugged scenery surrounds us and there are several fantastic options for this section of the tour, including a short walk in the iconic mountain landscape to the famous Fairy Pools.

Skye 1 Scaled Aspect Ratio 444x310

Another popular excursion is the drive to Neist Point lighthouse for spectacular views to the Western Isles.

The 13th century home of the famous Clan McLeod, Dunvegan Castle offers guided tours, a useful wet-weather option because of Skye’s famously changeable weather. It’s not called the ‘Misty Isle’ for nothing!

* Please note depending on weather and traffic conditions the itinerary is flexible to maximise our time on Skye.

Our day begins with a scenic drive across Skye to the ferry terminal at Armadale for the 30 minute sea crossing to Mallaig (subject to availability).

With spectacular views to the Small Isles and Cuillin Mountains, the iconic black and red Caledonian Macbrayne ferry takes us back to mainland Scotland with wildlife spotting opportunities en route including seals, sea birds and the occasional whale, dolphin or otter.

Mainbanner Aspect Ratio 444x310

On arrival in Mallaig we follow the beautiful ‘Road to the Isles’ to Glenfinnan Viaduct which famously features in several Harry Potter movies as the Hogwarts Express train crosses the bridge. Historically this stunning viewpoint also marks the spot where Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) landed on mainland Scotland and raised his standard prior to the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion.

'Glenfinnan Viaduct features in several Harry Potter movies'

As we drive to Fort William for lunch we stop for a photo of Britain’s highest mountain Ben Nevis at Neptune’s Staircase. This series of locks on the Caledonian Canal raises the water level 20 metres and was designed by the famous Scottish engineer Thomas Telford.

Mountains and lochs provide a dramatic backdrop as we continue to Glen Coe, perhaps the most famous of all Scotland’s glens.

Hosb023 Scaled Aspect Ratio 444x310

This narrow valley is where the bloody massacre of the MacDonalds took place in 1692. You may even recognise this part of the Highlands, used as a backdrop for many movies including Skyfall.

Our Grand Tour concludes with a photo stop at 13th century Doune Castle. Protecting the gateway to the Highlands the medieval castle has recently been seen as Castle Leoch in Outlander, Winterfell in Game of Thrones but is probably most famous for featuring in the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

World’s oldest riding school loved by royal family to tour England and Scotland

This will be the first time the Spanish Riding School has performed in Scotland.

star tours london to scotland

The world’s oldest riding academy will embark on a tour of England and Scotland, it has been announced.

Eight riders and up to 26 horses from the Spanish Riding School will perform synchronised routines and perform to classical Viennese music.

Queen Elizabeth II was said to be fond of the academy’s white Lipizzaner horses and once made a trip to the riding school’s stud farm in Piber, Styria, where all the stallions have been bred since 1920.

Royal tour to Europe – Day 9

The Princess Royal has visited the Spanish Riding School several times, and Queen Camilla watched a performance from the academy during a European tour in 2017.

The upcoming tour will take place in October 2024 and include dates in London and Aberdeen, marking the school’s first time performing in Scotland.

The performances, which include choreographies of All The Steps And Movements Of The High School, On The Long Rein and School Quadrille, will be hosted by radio and TV presenter Nicki Chapman.

Chapman, 57, said: “As a long-standing admirer of the fascinating world of horse dressage, it is an honour to present and bring the magic of the world-famous Lipizzaner horses and their talented riders to the UK public for the first time in eight years!

“I am thrilled to celebrate this incredible facet of European heritage and I can’t wait for audiences to join me in awe at the artistry and passion that define these extraordinary performances.”

Alfred Hudler, general manager of the Spanish Riding School, said: “We are excited to tour the UK and are already looking forward to October.

Royal tour to Europe – Day 9

“Our team is ready to show their world-class skills and to fascinate the UK audience beyond belief.

“A tour is always very special for our riders and horses, and travelling to countries with rich equestrian history and tradition is an exceptional pleasure.”

The dates in England will take place across three days from October 18 to 20 at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.

There will be performances in Scotland on October 25, 26 and 27, taking place at P&J Live.

The riding school, which is based in Vienna, Austria, has been maintaining and practising classical horsemanship in its Renaissance tradition of the High School for more than 450 years.

Tickets go on sale from 10am on May 24 and can be purchased at Live Nation.

Taylor Swift is about to go back on tour: Here's what to expect on the Eras Tour in Paris

star tours london to scotland

After a two-month break, Taylor Swift is revitalizing her titanic Eras Tour in Paris, and fans believe there are changes coming to the show.

If you are wondering where she's playing, if there will be changes and how to score tickets, here's everything we know.

And if you're new to the Eras Tour party, you can get caught up on the first 83 shows here .

When does the Eras Tour start again?

Swift kicks off the European leg of her tour on Thursday, May 9, in Paris. She will perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, as well, in the City of Light.

What are Taylor Swift's tour dates in Europe?

There are 69 shows left in the Eras Tour: 51 in Europe, nine in America and nine in Canada.

The European leg stretches from May all the way through a five-night stand at Wembley Stadium in London in mid-August.

See a complete list of international dates here .

After she wraps up in Europe, Swift will stop in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis before wrapping up in Canada.

See the remaining U.S. dates here .

What is the Eras Tour set list?

The Eras Tour has featured a massive 45-song set list you can check out here . But speculation is swirling it won't look the same when Swift takes the stage in Paris.

Will Taylor Swift add 'The Tortured Poets Department' to her set list?

The tortured poet has been on hiatus keeping her stamina up by releasing a double album of 31 tracks. The 2-hours-and-2-minutes project broke a number of Billboard records as the superstar did zero press to promote it. Fans flocked to stores and streaming services to listen to all the songs from "Fortnight" to "The Manuscript."

Although the singer has not confirmed whether her 11th era album will be added to her Eras Tour set list, she did post a YouTube shorts video with two scenes that sent Easter egg decoders into a frenzy. In one of the shots, the singer is next to a railing where a "TTPD" logo appears to be (at 0:11). In the succeeding shot, her back-up dancers perform holding canes and wearing top hats, something they have not worn previously.

Swift's dancers and bandmates posted to their Instagram stories as they left for France last week. The singer did not appear at two media events with her boyfriend Travis Kelce: the Kentucky Derby and a Formula 1 race in Miami , Florida. Patrick Mahomes, Kelce's friend and Kansas City's quarterback, attended the car racing spectacular with his wife, Brittany.

Can I still get Eras Tour tickets?

Swift's show is completely sold out in Europe and North America. There are resale sites with tickets, but be wary of scams. The best way to avoid getting swindled is continuously checking links on Swift's website . There are some for resale on the sites verified by her camp.

Singapore was a hotbed for fans who traveled thousands of miles only to get turned away at the venue. In Tokyo and Australia, last-minute ticket drops happened a few days — without announcement — ahead of the shows.

Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis — the three U.S. cities Swift is visiting in the fall — have some of the heftiest price tags with Canada closely behind. In may be cheaper to travel to Warsaw, Poland, or Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Here's a list of cities with the cheapest resale tickets, according to travel website  Islands.com .

10. Vienna, Austria — total average cost: $1,089, safety score: 69.72

9. Cardiff, U.K. — total average cost: $1,061, safety score: 61.83

8. Lyon, France — total average cost: $1,047, safety score: 44.3

7. Lisbon, Portugal — total average cost: $1,028, safety score: 70.15

6. Munich, Germany — total average cost: $1,000, safety score: 78.88

5. Paris, France — total average cost: $971, safety score: 41.83

4. Stockholm, Sweden — total average cost: $935, safety score: 53.86

3. Hamburg, Germany — total average cost: $903, safety score: 57.51

2. Gelsenkirchen, Germany — total average cost: $749, safety score: 51.33

Who are the opening acts?

Paramore launched the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, so it's fitting the American rock band is opening the tour's second year. The act will open for Swift for 51 shows across Europe . The band was dubbed the 2024 Record Store Day global ambassador and surprised fans in Nashville the weekend following the release of "The Tortured Poets Department."

When the tour comes back to North America in October , Swift's opening act will be Gracie Abrams.

Where can I watch if I don't have tickets?

The Eras Tour is one of the first tours that has been followed, globally, by thousands of fans on digital platforms. Fans dedicate part of their concert experience to livestreaming as Swift performs. A few Swifties have learned how to host their own shows over social media including Tess Bohne , known as the livestream queen. Bohne goes live for (almost) every show pulling streams from Instagram and TikTok. When a livestream goes down, she fills the time with banter.

On YouTube, user @TaylorSwiftHockeyBro also livestreams the three-hour show, and on Twitch, @folkleric , is a host fans follow.

There is also an app, Swift Alert , that notifies fans who only want to watch certain eras like the acoustic, surprise set. The app sends out push alerts if there are any major announcements.

What secret songs are left?

For the past 83 shows, Swift has played an acoustic set she customizes at each stop with a guitar and piano performance. In 2024, the Eras Tour star added mashups of her songs for each stop. Here are the songs she has yet to perform:

  • "Taylor Swift" (debut album): "Mary's Song" and "A Perfectly Good Heart"
  • "Fearless": "The Way I Loved You," "Change," "Superstar," "We Were Happy," "That's When," "Don't You" and "Bye Bye Baby"
  • "Red": "Girl At Home," "Ronan," "Forever Winter" and "Run"
  • "1989": "Sweeter Than Fiction"
  • "Reputation": "I Did Something Bad"
  • "Lover": "London Boy," "Soon You'll Get Better" and "It's Nice to Have a Friend"
  • "Folklore": "Hoax"
  • "Evermore": "Happiness" and "Closure"
  • "Midnights": "Paris" and "Glitch"
  • "The Tortured Poets Department": all 31 tracks

Will Taylor Swift perform in 2025?

There have been many rumors that Swift will continue her show in 2025, but they are only rumors. Nothing has been announced for next year, and as of now, the tour will end in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Dec. 8.

Canadian Taylor Swift fans are flying to Europe for cheaper concert tickets

T aking a trip to Europe to see Taylor Swift perform may not seem like an intuitive financial decision — but tickets to a concert in Canada are so expensive some fans are finding that's a better deal.

Bryan Kingston couldn't believe it when he snagged floor seats to an upcoming show in London, U.K., for $500 each on a resale website, when he had paid twice as much in Detroit last year.

"I found it was much cheaper," said the 40-year-old, who works in advertising in Hamilton, Ont.

"The difference in price actually paid for my flight to Europe."

He's still spending a sizeable sum. But for Kingston and other Swifties who can afford it, even with the cost of a flight, hotel and ticket, travelling for the concert may end up being better bang for their buck than seeing it in Canada.

He has friends heading to Scotland, Portugal and France, and said he couldn't pass up the opportunity to combine the concert with a vacation.

"It is honestly the best show I've ever been to in my life; otherwise, I wouldn't be making the trip."

Pop star supply and demand

Retail tickets for shows on Swift's record-setting Eras Tour in North America and Europe sold out almost instantly. Many then popped up on resale sites just as quickly. On StubHub, the cheapest seat to a Toronto concert in November right now is listed at $2,822. Yet the cost to get in the door in Stockholm this weekend is just a fraction of that price — $83.

Pascal Courty, an economics professor at the University of Victoria, suggests much of the disparity can be explained by basic economics. The European leg of Swift's tour boasts 51 shows across 18 cities, accommodating crowds of more than 40,000 each night.

"But the demand in some of these countries is not as strong," he said. "In Europe, compared to other artists, maybe she's not No. 1."

Courty says in Canada, the huge fan base compared to the limited number of shows  — at just nine — contributes to the steeper ticket prices on the secondary market.

"If Swift would give a concert every night in Toronto, at some point, the price of the tickets would be very low. It might take 12 concerts, it might take 18 concerts, but there's a point where the demand is going to be exhausted."

Resale restrictions

While fans in Europe may still face markups when buying resale tickets, governments there have been taking steps to address ticketing issues. In some countries , including Ireland, Portugal and Denmark, tickets cannot be resold for more than their original price. France has some of the strongest rules , where offenders can be fined thousands of euros.

Sam Shemtob, managing director of the Face-value European Alliance for Ticketing (FEAT), says this shift has made a difference.

"It's had a really positive effect. You see far fewer listings of tickets being resold for a profit, because the law is quite straightforward."

That's not the case in Canada, where there are no national regulations limiting how much profit a consumer can make when reselling a ticket. In this year's budget, the federal government pledged to crack down on ticket reseller practices that it said unfairly drive up prices, but offered few other details or timelines.

In Quebec, companies need permission to resell tickets above face value. Individuals, however, can still resell a ticket at any price they choose.

Fans like Julia Rawleigh from Calgary, who missed out on the initial sale, have been disappointed by what they call outrageous resale ticket prices.

"It was really frustrating when the concert tickets first dropped, and then immediately, you know, there were people selling them for thousands of dollars marked up," she said.

The 27-year-old restaurant manager decided to shake it off, instead making plans to see Taylor Swift's show in France.

"When we were able to get the Lyon tickets for $250 Canadian dollars, we were super excited. I don't even think we looked at where the seats were."

A better way?

Laws that regulate the secondary market are difficult to enforce, according to Courty, who suggested people will always find a way to sell tickets at market value.

U.S. singer-songwriter Billie Eilish is trying to combat the issue during her upcoming tour by making tickets non-transferable, an option offered by Ticketmaster that all artists can choose to implement during their tours.

If fans who purchase tickets in Canada or the U.S. can't attend the show, they are only permitted to resell them on Ticketmaster at the original price paid. Details for the concert state that "the tour wants to give fans, not scalpers, the best chance to buy tickets at face value."

Ticketmaster, the dominant player in the live event industry, has also come under scrutiny during Swift's tour, after fumbling online pre-sales in the U.S. The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating  its parent company, Live Nation, over claims it is abusing its market power — though Ticketmaster denies it is responsible for high ticket prices.

Courty says the most effective solution is to make tickets nominative, where purchasers have their name linked directly to a ticket and then must provide matching identification, similar to the system for airline tickets.

"Then you can completely prevent ticket reselling for profits."

U.S. singer-songwriter Taylor Swift performs during her Eras Tour at SoFi stadium in Inglewood, Calif. Canadian fans are tallying up the cost of a flight, hotel and ticket, and are finding that travelling to Europe to see Swift in concert may be better bang for their buck than seeing the show on Canadian soil.
