Seventeen wraps up their 'FOLLOW TO JAPAN' dome tour in Japan
Pledis Entertainment announced on the 18th that the group Seventeen concluded their Japan 5-major dome tour 'FOLLOW TO JAPAN' with their last performance at Fukuoka PayPay Dome on the 16th and 17th.
Seventeen held 12 performances across five cities—Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka—and gathered a total audience of 515,000. In Fukuoka, they attracted 80,000 spectators over two days.
The members performed a variety of hit songs starting with 'Son Oh Gong', followed by 'DON QUIXOTE' , 'Clap' , and 'Don't Wanna Cry'.
Seventeen expressed their feelings by saying, "It feels new, good, and exciting to meet 'Carats' (Seventeen's fandom) on such a big stage." They added, "Although the weather today is a bit cold, our love with Carats was hotter than anything. We hope to be with Carats healthily for a long time."
They also mentioned, "We feel both sad and proud as the Japan 5-major dome tour comes to an end. We sincerely thank Carats who came to all the dome tour venues, from Tokyo to Fukuoka. Thanks for allowing Seventeen to keep dreaming bigger. Let's meet at a stadium next year."
The first day of the Fukuoka performance was live-streamed to over 1,500 movie screens in 66 countries worldwide, and the second day was streamed online.
Alongside the dome tour, Seventeen also carried out the city-type concert playpark project 'THE CITY' in five Japanese cities. At the Fukuoka Tower observation deck, life-sized figures of Seventeen members were set up, and an airplane featuring Seventeen flew on domestic routes in Japan. A fountain show synchronized with their new song was also held at Canal City Hakata.
Seventeen will continue their tour on the 23rd and 24th of this month in Bangkok, Thailand, and on January 13th and 14th next year in Bulacan, Philippines, followed by performances on January 20th and 21st in Macau.

Seventeen to attract over 500,000 fans in Japan with 'Follow' dome tour
Published : Sept. 6, 2023 - 12:55

K-pop band Seventeen is set to meet over 500,000 fans in Japan with its new concert tour, "Follow," which will kick off at the Tokyo Dome on Wednesday, the country's biggest dome venue.
"Follow" is Seventeen's second dome venue tour in Japan, which will start with a two-day run at the Tokyo Dome.
With its latest concert series, the 13-piece band is set to hold a total of 12 shows in five Japanese cities. Following Tokyo, the band will head to Saitama where it will continue the series at Belluna Dome on Nov. 23-24. It will then perform at Vantelin Dome Nagoya on Nov. 30 and Dec. 2-3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on Dec. 7 and 9-10, and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on Dec. 16-17.
Pledis Entertainment on Wednesday predicted that "Follow" will attract a total of 515,000 fans, the biggest attendance tallied by a Seventeen concert series in Japan since its debut in 2015.
The title, "Follow," carries the message that Seventeen, like the sun, will lead its supporters, and the band itself, to a more promising future, inviting fans on its journey to spread positivity through its performances. The series began in Seoul in June with a two-day run at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu.
Seventeen continues to celebrate great popularity in Japan. It recently became the first foreign artist there to consecutively release two albums with over 500,000 first-week sales, with its latest album "Always Yours" racking up 512,000 copies within a week of release on Aug. 23, on from its 10th EP "FML," which tallied first-week sales of 552,000 in May. The two albums were also the top two most-sold albums by a foreign artist in Japan so far this year.

SEVENTEEN Schedules Japan Dome Tour
The group will hold seventeen ‘follow’ the city’ in tokyo, saitama, aichi, osaka, and fukuoka in japan..
As SEVENTEEN’s Japan Dome Tour covers five cities, this event will be the largest in the history of the ‘THE CITY’ project.
The ‘THE CITY’ project is HYBE’s ‘urban concert play park’ that provides an expanded fan experience by holding various entertainment and events throughout the city. More than 25 local companies and organizations participated in SEVENTEEN BE THE SUN THE CITY, which was held in three cities (Osaka-Tokyo-Nagoya) last year, and more than 250,000 people visited the site to enjoy SEVENTEEN’s festival.
Taking inspiration from SEVENTEEN’s dome tour title ‘FOLLOW’, the tour will be under the theme of ‘Let’s follow SEVENTEEN’. It is an upgrade from ‘THE CITY’ held last year. As part of last year’s program, the Limited Express Airport Railroad Lafitte, wrapped in Seventeen’s image, attracted attention by operating between Osaka Namba and Kansai International Airport. This time, in collaboration with Star Flyer, an aircraft featuring Seventeen’s image, ‘SEVENTEEN ‘FOLLOW’ THE ‘CITY JET’ will operate from November 12th.
Starting on the 18th, Seventeen-related events will be held at 18 United Cinema theaters in Tokyo, Saitama, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO JAPAN will be held in Aichi (November 30) and Osaka (December 10). There will be a live viewing screen of the performance in Fukuoka (December 16). A digital stamp rally event connecting the landmarks of each city will also be held, and after the performance at Veruna Dome (Saitama) on November 23-24, a special event, Night Aquarium, will be held at Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO JAPAN , the largest Japanese dome tour since SEVENTEEN’s debut, started at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on September 6-7. Thereafter, it will be held at the Veruna Dome (Saitama) on November 23-24; Vantelin Dome Nagoya on November 30 and December 2-3; at Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7 and 9-10; and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 16-17.

K-pop stars Seventeen will share their upcoming concert in Fukuoka, Japan, with fans all over the world with a special movie event, Seventeen Tour “Follow” to Japan: Live Viewings .
The band’s Dec. 16 concert at the PayPay Dome will screen in theaters on multiple continents. On top of their busy touring schedule, Seventeen have also released plenty of music this year. In April, they dropped their first mini-album of the year, FML , and in October, they followed it up with Seventeenth Heaven . The group also shared the 27-track project Always Yours , which featured songs like “24H,” “Fallin Flower,” and “Dream.” (Oh, and they also teamed with Rolling Stone for a special edition zine in April.)
Last year, Seventeen released their debut English-language song, “Darl+ing.” Speaking with Rolling Stone about the track, leader S.Coups said, “In every language we sing in, we try to show Seventeen as we are. And I know that people whose native language is not Korean have to work hard to understand our message. So when we record we want to try as hard as they do when they listen to our music so we can share that together.”

SEVENTEEN is gearing up for their upcoming tour.
According to their agency Pledis Entertainment, Seventeen's "Follow" to Japan tour will be held at Tokyo Dome on September 6 and 7.
A total of 12 concerts will be held in 5 cities in Japan, including Veruna Dome (Saitama) on November 23 and 24, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on November 30, December 2 and 3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7, 9, and 10, and PayPay Dome in Fukuoka on December 16 and 17.
This is the group's second dome tour in Japan. The tour will be held on its largest scale ever, attracting 515,000 people.
As the tour title 'Follow' indicates, SEVENTEEN, who has become Sun, will unite with CARAT (fandom name) as 'TEAM SVT' to move forward together to a brighter and wider future. Pledis stated, "Through this performance, Seventeen will spread the team's unique positive energy and captivate fans on a stage worthy of 'performance masters.'"
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN became the first foreign artist to sell two consecutive works exceeding 500,000 copies in the first week with their first Japanese best album 'ALWAYS YOURS', released on August 23. 'FML' (552,000 copies) and 'Always Yours' (512,000 copies) swept landed at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively in the first week of sales of overseas artist albums in 2023.

SEVENTEEN: Launch of the “Follow tour” Again!
Group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) will enter the mega stadium.
According to Pledis Entertainment today, SEVENTEEN confirmed that its encore tour will take place in three stadiums in Korea and Japan. The tour is called “ SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN “. The tour will be held in order at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium from March 30 to 31, Osaka Janma Stadium from May 18 to 19, and Kanagawa Nissan Stadium from May 25 to 26.
This is possible because SEVENTEEN has sold more than 16 million albums in 2023 alone and won the grand prize at major awards at home and abroad. SEVENTEEN is the first K-pop group to perform alone at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. In particular, Kanagawa Nissan Stadium is the largest concert hall in Japan with an audience of around 70,000 people, which is why it is called the “ dream stage ” for artists. Until now, TVXQ was the only K-pop boy group to enter this place. SEVENTEEN, finally recognized as the “ best K-pop group ,” is now set to fill Nissan Stadium for two consecutive days to prove their unparalleled status and popularity.
SEVENTEEN met more than 700,000 fans with 20 performances in nine cities, including Seoul, Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Bangkok, Bulacan and Macau, through the “ SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW “, which lasted about half a year since last July. The Japanese performances (Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka) were organized as the largest five-dome tour since their debut, while Bangkok, Bulacan and Macau have already taken place as stadium tours, proving the powerful selling power of SEVENTEEN. Beyond the one-off performance, only BTS and SEVENTEEN are K-pop artists who have toured Asian stadiums.
Pledis Entertainment said, “ We have prepared this encore tour with gratitude to the CARATs who love SEVENTEEN. Expect the best performance. The entire stadium will be colored with Rose Quartz Serenity, the official color of SEVENTEEN. “

SEVENTEEN are coming back to the Philippines early next year.
On September 25, the “God of Music” hitmakers announced that they are officially slated to return to Manila this coming January 2025. Serving as part of the Asia leg of their ‘RIGHT HERE’ World Tour, the K-pop sensations will be holding a two-night concert on January 18 and 19, 2025. The two shows are set to happen in Bulacan, hinting at the possibility of them happening at either the Philippine Arena or the Philippine Sports Stadium.
Ticketing details have also yet to be announced. Watch this space for updates.
Check out the full list of dates for the Asia leg of SEVENTEEN’s ‘RIGHT HERE’ World Tour below:
- 2025, January 18-19 – BULACAN

- 2025, February 8 – JAKARTA
- 2025, February 15 – BANGKOK
The group previously took the stage in Manila last January as part of their ‘FOLLOW’ World Tour. They held two sold-out shows at the Philippine Sports Stadium , which made history by becoming their highest grossing concert ever , amassing a total of USD 11,641,788 (around PHP 651,375,501.28).
The upcoming two-night concert will be in support of their greatest hits album 17 IS RIGHT HERE , released last April 29. Members Jeonghan and Jun will not be able to participate in these shows , with Jeonghan serving out his mandatory military service and Jun currently pursuing acting and other opportunities in his home country of China.
Jeonghan was also unable to join the rest of the group for the Manila leg of their ‘FOLLOW’ World Tour due to an ankle injury. Meanwhile, this will be the first time the group’s overall leader S.coups will be returning with SEVENTEEN to the country, having also missed out on the Manila shows of the ‘FOLLOW’ WORLD TOUR’ due to recovering from an injury of his own.
