Best tour of my life

We had three amazing guides between four of us. They carried and set up our 'hotel' for us, which was shaded, clean hammocks with mosquito netting and cooked us delicious bbq and stir-fry food. They were funny. And they made us costumes out of leaves they found in the jungle. I was particularly impressed, when when we were night swimming, one guard managed to see a pair of eyes up a tree about 50metres away in such a vastly tree dense area. These guys completely and utterly know what they're doing, and will not leave you disappointed. I cannot recommend, or thank them for our time enough. Truly amazing experience

Ritthy sorted us out with some brilliant guides who took us for a 3 day jungle trek. The jungle and its wildlife was awesome, but the best of it was the various swimming spots along the way at the most amazing falls pools. Ritthy's also has a comfortable guesthouse serving reasonable food and cold beer

We did the option #1 hike, which is a 1 day hike in the jungle, a boat ride to and from the trail, and a long stop at an amazing waterfall for lunch. Our guide was amazing, and the entire trip was great, but you should know that it is NOT a nice slow stroll in the woods, but a hike. Serious hike. I have no idea how they say that children can do this.

This is a must in Koh Kong. We did two fantastic tours with friendly guides to great places. They are also great value for money. The trip to Koh Kong island is long but worth it. We ate fresh cooked barracuda on an idyllic tropical beach. The trek up the Cardamon mountains to the waterfall is also fabulous. Have breakfast at the guesthouse early before going on the tour.

We rented a pair of kayaks from these guys ... we paid $25 each, which is probably what we could have bought them for. No padding or harnesses, waterlogged, cramped ... seriously low end. They may be okay for paddling around in some small area, but definitely no good for exploring the river and mangroves.

Pick up in time, boat trip with good photo opportunities to a nice beach . Around the beach plastic debri float ashore as people in this country don´t have proper waste systems. So far out it was less debris- snorkelling was possible, visibility so and so, but saw some nice fish, more rocks than coral. Well taken care of from the guide that spoke only a few words of English. The trip into the mangrove was worth while. I do hope this country will have a bright future, but they have a lot to do when it comes to garbage.No one likes to stay in a dump.

Awesome experience. Incredible value.

We did Ritthys one day jungle tour. There's a minimum of two people, and as no-one else booked, we had a private tour! Beautiful boat trip up the river. When the engine turns off as you dock it's so incredibly peaceful. All you hear is gentle lapping of water and the calls of monkeys. The trek up the hill is very sweaty! But not too long. The view at the lunch spot is spectacular. A dried up waterfall, now a shelf of rock, below which is a huge panorama of the forest and river. You then spend the next two hours relaxing, swimming in a natural pool and eating lunch. The water is refreshing but not too cold. There are loads of tiny fishes, if you keep your feet still they will nibble off the dead skin! Then you head back down and back on the boat, stopping off at a fishing village. Our guide, Nemo, hooked down some fresh coconuts, cut them open and we drank the juice before completing the last part of the journey. Would definitely recommend. I was terrified of leeches but nothing to worry about in the dry season.

We used Ritthy for transport 3 times, once from Koh Kong to Tatai, from Tatair to Andoung Trek, then when we cut our Chi Phat stay short one day, for a private car to Kampong - he quoted $70, $55 less than Chi=Phat quoted! All journeys were excellent, all transport happened as arranged and all for a good price.

By far this was the worst experience ever hiring a tour in Cambodia. Ritthy treated us really bad since the beginning, being unrespectful and unpleasant with every customer. We didn’t understand why he was so rude with the four of us. The tour itself to the island with two local guys was ok, but the way this person manage the business and the relationship with their customers make us NOT recommend their services to anybody. On internet you can not find another tour office, but in Koh Kong town there is a lot of places that offers day tours to Koh Kong. I hope this review will help other people like us.

I will try to keep my comment short but the main point of this is that Ritthy works with unprofessional guides that are not prepared to take care of you in case of emergency and that spontaneously decide to do things that were not in the tour. We just wanted to kayak in the river and had to pay 25$ to Ritthy per person (I bet the guides only see a 10% of this). They took us into the jungle while we were wearing sandals and shorts - we were supposed to just travel by boat and kayak, have lunch and come back. I got bitten by a bee and had a deadly allergy. My bf and his friend had to mobilise everyone cause no one understood the risk of it. After 40minutes of boat travelling, stress and me passing out twice, we reached the hospital and had medical attention. My friend went to pick up some stuff in the guesthouse and asked Ritthy to come to translate cause no one spoke English in the hospital. He came with a smile and didn't show much interest on us. Then left ten minutes afterwards being totally useless. I got medical attention and things went well. When we arrived at night in the homestay I could hardly walk and he was having dinner with friends outside. He smiled at us and asked if I was okay. The answer was obvious. He never made himself responsible for what happened. We had to sit down with him next day and explained what happened and asked for compensation. Since we finished the tour at 12 instead of 5, we wanted at least half of the tour money. He offered to give us two night of hotel, which for him means that he doesn't loose anything. We accepted and planned to leave next day for Phom Phe but I wasn't recover yet so we asked to stay another night for free. He refused. We spoked with him again to make him understand that this was his responsibility for working with unprofessional people. And that the minimum he could do for us was to let us stay there, since I couldn't continue. He refused again. This person needs to understand that you just can call you 'ecotour' and employ unprofessional people that takes you into very risky situations. On top of it, the way that he reacted was absolutely disrespectful. I could have died and this man did not even give us a bottle of water for free. If this happens in my country I'd suit him but here I can't do much although I'm going to look into it. There are plenty of other tour companies in Koh Kong that are more professional. Please do not book with this company otherwise you are risking your life and those of your companions. The picture is moments before my allergy got severe. My sister and I did the two day one night jungle trek and really enjoyed it. The first day was spent trekking for a good three hours ending up at a beautiful waterfall area with pool for lunch and then trekking for another 2 hours to our base for the night. The camp area was beautiful next to a river and again with a lovely waterfall pool at the bottom, it was very secluded and we had the place to ourselves which was beautiful. Overnight consisted of sleeping in hammocks and then the following day trekking for a few hours out of the jungle and after lunch heading to a local waterfall via motorbike. We really enjoyed the trek but have a few recommendations for those thinking of doing the two day trek...bring more water than you think. We took an extra three litres each and with this water and the water provided we only just had enough, the tour company only provide six small bottles of water per person which just isnt enough. It may weigh a lot but it will be worth having extra water / Take a first aid kit with you, the guides speak very little English and if something were to go wrong they are unlikely to have supplies to provide you with things / jungle trekking can get very samey after a while so you may want to seriously consider whether two days is the best as it is a lot of rainforest! Saying all that staying out overnight and having a BBQ dinner by the river was lovely, but I think Iv seen enough jungle now. The company is very well organised and the food at Rittthys is decently priced and tasty. I would recommend the company but I would advise maybe doing one day jungle trek and one day island tour to get the best of everything. Have fun in the jungle!

My husband and I did this tour whilst briefly in Koh Kong. The tour was great, the long tail boat journey is a bit long (2.5 hours each way) but didn’t feel as bad as I expected. The island where we stopped was deserted and we spent time snorkelling and had a great lunch loads of good food. There is rubbish on the beach but not all over if it is an eco tour perhaps they could include a beach clear up?!?? Anyway rubbish seems to be a major problem in Cambodia so do don’t ruin the swim. The mangroves in the way back were great v interesting and glad we stopped to see them. Overall a good trip for $21 each
