Radamis II Nile Cruise

Unforgettable cruise along the Nile between Aswan and Luxor. We took the four day / three night package. Comfortable rooms, great food, hospitable boat crew. The tours were incredible. Visited so many temples such as Philae, Luxor, Karnak, Hatshepsut, Edfu, Kom Ombo. Plus the Aswan High Dam.

radamis nile cruise review

We cruised from Aswan to Luxor aboard the Blue Shadow as part of our recent trip to Egypt. The cruise was extremely pleasant and the staff throughout were very polite and friendly. All the meals were well prepared and varied, the dining room staff were very attentive and had a sense of humor even though there was a bit of a language barrier. One of our group became ill on the cruise and the Manager on board prepared a special tray of food which they took to the cabin. The following day the manager also followed up to ensure the passenger was ok. There was ample time provided when you disembarked in order to visit the various sites of interest. In the evenings there was entertainment provided in the ships lounge such as a Nubian dancing show and an Egyptian evening. One negative is that the drinks are very expensive. There was no complimentary tea ,coffee or water on board except at breakfast time. The cabins at the back of the ship are also very noisy because of the engine noise.

We had a terrific cruise aboard the Sonesta St. George! The boat was very nice and the cabins were cozy. I especially loved the shower! The staff was very friendly. The food was ok for breakfast and lunch but dinner seemed to be not as good. Still the dining staff did a great job. Special shout out to Issac! Definitely recommend a cruise aboard the Sonesta to see the beauty of the Nile!

radamis nile cruise review

It was an awesome experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I loved the events they came up with like Egyptian night. Never had such and experience and I truly loved it although the wifi connection was weak :/ and rather expensive. Wifi should be free and available to all guests.

Nile Cruise Travel organised a holiday for us which included 2 days in Cairo (visiting the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum); 5 days at Sharm El Sheikh snorkeling and scuba diving on the beautiful red sea coral reefs and 5 days cruising between Luxor and Aswan (visiting Valley of the Kings and various other sites). We were met by the Head of Office in each destination and carefully settled into our hotels; any problems quickly ironed out without us having to worry about a thing! In each location, we were introduced to local English-speaking guides, who quizzed us about our interests and organised additional trips accordingly. So... scuba diving, quad biking in the desert, botanical gardens in Aswan. What a beautiful country, what warm hospitality. Our guide for the cruise, Mr Ahmed, had degrees in both English Literature and Egyptology and was totally fabulous - his wonderful stories made the ancient sites come alive for us. We feel that a major advantage of Nile Cruise Travel is the personal care and attention that we received - we watched other tour groups herded like cattle and felt very privileged! It was also very helpful for us to be able to pay by bank transfer in advance, rather than carrying cash. We talked to other tourists who were having difficulty getting sufficient funds out of the ATM machines which have a limit on withdrawals. We had none of that! A totally stress free and relaxing holiday. Perfect in every way.

radamis nile cruise review

Cruised the fertile & longest (i.e. 6670 km ) river Nile, from Aswan to Luxor. Picturesque, green banks alongside the mighty river. On the banks of river Nile, the ancient Egyptian civilization stands tall after almost 5000 years. Boarded at Aswan, visited the Nubian village, Aswan high dam . Cruise halted at Abu simbel, Kom Ombo and Philae Temple in Aswan. In Luxor visited Luxor temple, Valley of the Kings, Edfu Temple, etc. Early morning Hot Air Ballooning at Luxor was a great ride.
